Great resort for a family with kids. Only thing I was surprised was they charged additional entry fee ( full charges) for my 1.5 year old kid.
Michel
Everything was perfect. The staff person at the lobby when we arrived to checked in was amazing and the most helpful person I’ve ever met.

Everything was great, love this hotel and waterpark. Its not the biggest waterpark in Niagara but its never overcrowded and always accommodating
Leslie
There was everything for everyone from a 4 year old to a 65 year old. Rooms were clean, spotless actually, beds very comfortable, so much so, that we bought one of the hotel pillows for my daughter as she Loved the pillows! Breakfast, although not included, was fairly priced, with a $2.00 off coupon for EVERY adult in our famiky! Impressive! Breakfast buffet was excellent qualuty, and plentiful! The breakfast sausages were fantastic!! Goid quality food was offered.

Clean room. Great staff
Brooke
Garbage was still left in the room. The waterpark was not very clean, specifically the hot tub, there was brown stuff and hair floating in it. Staff at check in were not very helpful and felt very rushed. Rude when asking questions. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Make sure to bring water shoes for children. The waterpark is not that clean. Rooms are clean but provided all in one soap is awful. Be careful with the chairs in the room. My children fell multiple times.
Megan
The waterpark is fantastic for younger kids, but the room itself felt dated and quickly became damp. The beds were worn and really need an upgrade, and the sheets and comforters didn’t feel as clean as they should have been.
Emily
The Americana is great value for your money. While the rooms are nothing fancy, and the TV channels very few, it is a clean place to rest your hear while having fun in the Falls. Rooms come with a mini fridge and a microwave. Make sure to bring all your toiletries as they come with a two in one shampoo commercial despenser in the shower. No creams, shower gels or tissues. The staff are all so lovely. Not one was unpleasant from the front desk to the pool restaurants to the life guards. The waterpark while smaller, is perfect if you have kids under 12 and you want to have eyes on them at all times. There are 4 very fun waterslides, a warm (so important!) wave pool that is shallow- My 6 year old almost touched bottom at the very back- and a great little splash/waterslide area for the smallest kids in tow. The arcade was mediocre and overpriced but thats to be expected in these kinds of places. There is a grocery store in the adjacent parking lot and many restaurants within walking or driving distance without having to head into the chaos of Clifton Hill. We ate at Johnny Roccos- a 4 minute drive away from the crazy tourist area, with excellent food and great service. Overall, a fantastic overnight and fun experience in the falls.
Christine
We stayed in a room with two double beds and a bunk bed. It was great to accommodate 5 people. Room and bathroom were clean. Towels are tiny so just be prepared for that. There is no bottle filler in the building but staff at the restaurants are more than happy to fill bottles for you. The waterpark is small but a nice option to have for downtime between activities. No complaints to be had from us!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. Room was clean and spacious, equipped with a coffee maker (didn't use), microwave and fridge.
For the waterpark, it is great for all ages. During peak hours, it can get really crowded. Having a toddler, I wished there is an age restriction on the toddler pool as the older kids played pretty rough. I liked that they provided pool towels, it's bit smaller than a bath towel but sufficient to dry off. Having a Freshco right beside the hotel was convenient. We also received a coupon to eat at the Boston Pizza, which was a nice incentive.

The bed was extremely hard, like sleeping on a hard board. Water park was more geared towards younger kids like 10 and under. There is a parking fee and a mandatory hold on your card that takes days to clear.

The room was average, no breakfast, parking is expensive, hallways smelled like marijuana, pool was very cold and very chlorinated.
Theo
Wish it was a longer stay. 4pm to 11am is nothing for the price. Spending almost $500 for not even a day basically is so not worth it, and I found the cheapest price. But the waterpark was perfect for my kid's bday
Brent
Room was nice and close to water park however it had a strange smell in the room and part of the ceiling had a drip. Lastly room wasn’t fully cleaned it had a used tea bag left and for some reason the roll of toilet paper left was soaked.
Thomas M
Overall a good stay. The ONLY DRAWBACK are the unruly children in the hallways and the parents who do not know how to settle them down. No need to run and scream in the halls. Very noisy. Different type of soft parenting i guess. We weren’t allowed to run and scream in my time. Oh well.
Staff should remind young parents that people are resting and to control children.

It’s a waterpark so it had the smell. Overall it’s ok

Front desk staff Lucy was very kind and helpful.
Brandon
it was a very good stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Senses Spa was great. They give a good deal for those staying at the hotel for spa treatments. The only thing I would suggest is the option to purchase a meal plan. This would really help families and people to enjoy their stay with an added perk.
Niki
Fun for the kids with its water park. There was a funny smell in the rooms, our cousins in the other room had the same smell.
Cory
Had a great 2 night stay , nothing bad to say about hotel at all. I would recommend staying there and would stay again myself

I've gone twice, two years in a row (last year and this year). It's a great place to bring your kids. Clean, safe, fun, cozy and close to everything Niagara falls has to offer.

perfect. for the price . clean and good waterpark

Hotel was clean. The staff I feel should be friendlier. No one just said hello or anything. Front desk never said thank you. Waterpark was extremely hot inside. Made it hard to breathe at times.

We had a great stay at Americana with our kids (ages 5, 8, and 10). The water park isn’t huge, but it was the perfect size for a short getaway. The kids spent about 2–3 hours there on the first day and another hour the next morning, going down the slides over and over. Our 10-year-old started to get a little bored after a couple of hours, but the younger two could have kept going.
Overall, it was a fun, family-friendly experience. There were lots of families with young kids, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the price was reasonable for what was included. We’d definitely recommend it for families looking for an affordable overnight trip.

I will not recommend this place as too much of restriction in the water park you can’t use water gun,you can head ball etc etc.the water park area is small as well.

Have stayed here with my family multiple times and we always have a great time. Our daughter loves the Waterpark. Cost for everything you get is very reasonable, and the location is good if you want to go out.

I was shocked that it’s 30 dollars a day for parking at the hotel, you are already paying quite a bit to stay, why on earth are they making people pay for parking at the hotel, I have never heard of or been to any other hotels that do this. I would never go back for that reason. There is no mention of this prior to booking as well.

It was a nice affordable hotel with great amenities for the kids and adults alike

The worst I have ever been to broken dirty and smelly

It's a great accommodation for children. I really liked that there was a water park.

Check in staff was a little frazzled with each other so I was kind of nervous checking in but the place was great, clean, comfy, and the kids had a blast!

Charged additional for parking, outdated amenities and arcade room

We were extremely disappointed with our stay. We paid over $300 per night for our room, yet the hotel charged an additional $30 per day for parking. Considering the hotel isn’t located downtown or near the Falls and has a large parking lot, this fee felt excessive. We actually paid three times less to park on Clifton Hill than at the hotel.
To make matters worse, breakfast wasn’t even included in the price, which is hard to justify given the high nightly rate and all the extra charges.
The room also had an unpleasant smell, which made our stay less comfortable. While the hotel looks upscale in the photos, in reality it felt much more like a basic motel than the premium property it advertises.
Overall, we didn’t feel the experience came close to matching the price we paid, and we wouldn’t stay here again.

we had a remodeled room - all was new and clean. there was no breakfast available although there was a coffee maker in the room

Parking was not included and too expensive. Hard to find a spot at nighttime due to too many people at the restaurant at night. Plus, I was charged multiple times, even though I had already paid in full for parking. Be aware!!
The rooms were not soundproof at all. I could hear everything from the room next-door & from the hallway, Pool was also dirty at times.
No breakfast included, but I knew that going in.

The waterpark exceeded our expectations. The accommodations are clean, and a convenience store is located nearby. This venue is highly recommended for family staycations.

Super fun property for families with children. We had a blast. The water slides were so much fun. They have a really nice area for smaller kids also. It was a great surprise they had an arcade. Such a blast. The food was hot and delicious. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Outside playground super cute. Lots of fun stuff for children. A place you can spend your entire day at the property and you don’t ever have to leave.
5 Stars. Two Thumbs Up!!!!

Our whole family enjoyed the waterpark. The room was generous sized. Loved the dining table! Only thing we didn’t like was how we can hear everything going on in the hallway. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

We recently stayed with our 3 grandchildren on a trip to see the Falls. Hotel was in good shape. The junior suite was great for us with 3 kids. Had mini fridge, microwave and a table. The water park was perfect for the boys (ages 5 and 8) there were plenty of restaurants nearby and a grocery store next door. The staff was very friendly and helpful My only complaint was that the room keys were very sensitive to being near a phone. We had to get our room key renewed several times.
