Overall the room and property were well maintained, aside from the balcony door in our room. It is broken, can't slide on the tracks, and doesn't actually close all the way, there is a good half inch open but they keep it closed with a bar.

Short uber ride to Clifton Hill, hot tub in the room was great, pool was great. Free parking.

Would stay here again,

The A/C worked really well which was great with the heat wave. The beds were comfortable, good size room, clean and well lit. WiFi service was excellent. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was very freindly and helpful. Lots of restaurants in the area.

Air conditioning worked great our bed was comfortable. The room did have a musty smell, but the manor is old. The ambience brings you back. Our room was good to sleep in. However, if you have allergies bring all of the allergy preventatives. The carpet seems to hold the moisture of the air. The stairs are linoleum. Free parking. The bus comes directly in front and down the street a bit from the manor for cheap transportation to downtown. The staff here are so kind. The breakfast is a little weird with broccoli for a morning veggie. You get: toast, hard boiled eggs, broccoli, sausage links and pancakes or waffle. There is also yogurt in a mini fridge. Coffee, tea, milk or juice. Jelly. Butter. Salt & pepper packets. A big bottle of corn syrup to pass around.

Excellent accommodations for the short stay and purpose of our trip. The inn is a bit outdated and has cosmetic flaws but it was comfortable and exactly what we needed for our trip. Central to many tourists attractions and close to WEGO bus which was very convenient and easy to use. Staff was very accommodating and breakfast was simple but convenient and the kitchen ladies were extremely welcoming. Would stay again!

If you have another option, go! We booked the room soley for the tub which was great and the highlight. The King size bed was very comfortable as well. However, the maintenance and the cleanliness of the room weren't up to par. We found old makeup wipes on the side table, dirty bathroom, and old petals with garbage under the bed. The breakfast was a disappointment as well. You're better off sleeping in. Overall think this place should be a lot cheaper for the service they provide.

The fellow at the front desk was so personable and helpful. The room was large with a very comfy bed and had some well-made furniture. The top in the bathtub was leaky.
I enjoyed the pool. For the price it was great that a breakfast was included, although it wasn’t the freshest. The coffee was excellent though!
I would definitely come again!

Independent and family run business. Well intentioned, but missing the mark on expectations. Pros - clean, soft sheets, comfortable bed. Those are my three most important. Large rooms. Cons - breakfast in a musty basement with an odd food selection. Finishing details in the room just off and strange.

We got into our room to find we had a leak dripping onto the carpet. We told the guys at the desk and they did nothing about it. We were expecting to be put in a different room or at the very least a bucket to catch the water, but they said it was fine. Then we ventured to the lounge area and the area with the \"free breakfast\" which we were hit with an awful smell like an animal died. I requested to check out early (about 2 hours after checking in and visitkng the falls) and a refund, they wouldn't and I didn't fight it since we had limited time to enjoy the area. Please save yourself the trouble and don't book this hotel until you know it's been restored to a decent condition.

Pool was clean and again, well maintained, to bad the hot tub was out of commission 😕

The staff at the hotel were amazing and very helpful. However, the room was not the greatest. The bed frame was broken, holes in the wall from what looked like an old tv that was attached to the wall, the tv was run on internet and was constantly buffing. The pool was horrible, very cold water and hot tub was not filled at all. They had a pool table but charged $25 an hour to use. Would not recommend this place if you have a young family who wants to enjoy their hotel.

The room was covered in ants and when the front staff was asked about it I was told there was \"no management on duty\". We had to sleep with ants covering our sheets and they were all over our bags in the morning. The room generally just seemed minimally kept, with lots of dust and stains on the sheets. Overall, a poor experience.

I booked that hotel because it had indoor swimming pool and I couldn’t access it because of the timing that they had. Their breakfast was useless they only had boiled eggs no scrambled or fried or anything else. They didn’t have bagels they had bottled apple juice no orange juice. They didn’t have gowns in the rooms hotel looked like it desperately needs renovation.

Breakfast didn’t start until 8:30am and we had to leave by 8am so we were unable to use the free breakfast. No option of to-go bag.
They did accommodate our late check in, which was greatly appreciated.
My son really enjoyed the \"old mannor\" esthetic.

It's pretty good for the price. Quite clean, but to my shock the maid doesn't come every day so since we stayed 2 days our bed wasn't made and no cleaning was done (they said I had to let them know about cleaning in advance which is never the case with hotels).
Breakfast had limited options but the quality was good. Also unusual that it only goes from 8:30 am till 10:00 am so we had to leave hungry since it was 7 am ...
Pool is nice but you have to let them know so they warm up the water.
Overall good vibes there though and plenary of parking if you drive.

Table light didn’t work. Attendant got us a different one. The air unit didn’t work. When the attendant pulled the plug it had arched and was blackened. She plugged it back in. I told her immediately to unplug it. We moved rooms. This one the end of the wooden bed was almost coming apart. My husband had to bang it in. WON’T BE BACK EVER. The pool area did look nice we were to have a free breakfast which we didn’t even look at. It was housed in the noodle restaurant out front of the hotel.

This is a relatively old place, but in good condition. We stayed in a \"Honeymoon\" room and the tub was excellent and the bed very comfortable. A few parts of things feel a little older and showing wear, but we very much enjoyed our stay.

My friends and I had a great time. We got use of the pool, parking was literally outside our door, walking distance to shops and restaurants. The only issue was the coffee machine in our room was not working. I will definitely come back. The staff was wonderful, friendly kind and efficient.

Couldn't shower, the selector didn't work, the water ran the complete time and wouldn't shut off. No hot water. The vanity sink would barely drain so you couldn't have the water run for very long. The rib would fill up will water as well and drained very slow. Told the front desk person and it and the answer was just \"ok\" when checking out. Won't go back, will spend a little more money and get a place that you can actually take a shower.

If you’re looking for a hotel keep looking. The staff was friendly but their English was quite limited, some spoke none at all. It just made it hard to ask for directions and recommendations.
The pool was frigid! I’m from Alaska so that tells you how frigid the water was. There is no hot tub, it must be broken because it wasn’t filled with water for quite some time it looked like.
Our Keurig was broken, so they replaced it for us. The new one had mold in the water compartment.
The breakfast was limited, the line was long, and they literally served hotdogs for breakfast. You could wait in a separate line for a waffle, but again had a ton of options for them to redeem themselves.

The room was in great shape and was clean. The rest could use some work. Cluttered hallways, dim lighting in the main area and a mediocre breakfast at best. The sausages were good, but hard boiled eggs were hard to peel and they didnt even have ketchup. Simple but also shows a lack of attention to detail.

My only remark is to have a few more options for eggs for breakfast(or have the hardboiled eggs peeled), heat the pool, and have the hot tub available. Other than that, the staff were amazing and it was a beautiful hotel.

The hotel looks nice from the outside but inside is run down, tired and our room was not very clean. There was a huge cobweb above one bed, currents and corn on carpet which had seen better days, the entry door had the lock jimmied at some point, the patio door wouldn't lock due to broken latch ( thankfully there was a security bar), garbage on patio, domestic in room next door at midnight for half hour until tennants were removed. Breakfast was minimal and we appeared to be the only people attending (the place has tennants living there full time). A basket with money obviously was to Ask for tips at breakfast!!
The only positive was comfortable beds and clean sheets.
Would not recommend.

The AC/heater didn't work, the couch was broken. One of the bed sheets had blood spots on it. Washroom was very clean, the Jacuzzi was also very clean. The pool water was extremely cold, also the pool are would be freezing closing duiring winter. It's definitely not a heated pool. My room didn't come with a ice tub for the room, it say the hotel was under reservation for 6 month. This hotel was extremely outdated, definitely not sound proof. I was disappointed, but made the best of my trip.

My stay was fine. The property could use some maintenance. The hot tub was empty with clear traces of rust and the water in the pool is too cold to enjoy it. The rooms are not super clean as there were dead bugs on the carpet by the window but beds are very comfortable and super clean. Bedrooms are quiet and the staff is very friendly and kind. Breakfast is very basic with the best food being freshly made waffles. Things that could be changed: proper maintenance and attention to detail; for instance if a room is booked for 4 people, they will clearly need more than 2 towels and a small piece of soap. Overall we slept well and the property has potential, but we will probably not be visiting again as at the current conditions it’s pricey for the service provided

We booked the room without reading other reviews.

We had a small spot of blood on the sheets. We had a half eaten sub under the bed. The bathtub was clogged with a mound of hair. The hotel didn’t use air conditioning in the halls or main area. The pool table was $30 per hour. The breakfast wasn’t even breakfast. Hard boiled eggs, sausage and some frozen vegetables and fruit. The staff didn’t speak much English. There were no dressers for clothes. It was a shared microwave and toaster. The pool opens at 2:30pm for some stupid reason. Breakfast is from 8:30-10:30 which is very inconvenient. There was no SportsNet or TSN to watch the Jays game. The hot tub wasn’t working. There was no jacuzzi. It was severely overpriced for what it was.
