One of the cleanest and nicest hotels I've stayed at ever!!! The pool was nice, lightly heated, which felt great after a nice day of sight-seeing. Also the hotel is close to many shops and restaurants, yes, it's a short drive to the falls, which we didn't mind that. The hotel was fairly quiet, yes the traffic can be disturbing, but manageable. The only downfall that we encountered was the breakfast is served only on weekends, I wish we would've been informed upon check-in. Overall a great stay, room was spacious and clean, you can really tell they take care of their rooms and amenities. We've stayed at Ramadas before and I find they need updating, but this one was perfect!!! Great job and we'll definitely be returning.

You are charged a resort fee whether you use the amenities or not - but the hotel doesn’t have BASIC cable! Coffee shop sells you a 6 dollar cup of coffee but they have no cream - message light on my phone for 4 days but you cannot retrieve the message. Very much disappointed with this property, expected more from the Ramada brand

The satff and property were good. My issue is the hidden fees. 20 a day for parking, 40 a day for dog fee, property fee, on top of expedia already charging taxes, resort fees and no prewarning on extra parking fee and taxation. If i were expedia i would contact the property and work out a deal that doesnt show 62 a night then end up 120 a night or more once a person has arrived. Other sites dont have this issue and the property even suggested next time i use other site to alleviate most of this issue. People use this service to ensure charges in advance and hope for no surprises.

Pool was freezing. Swipe card didn’t work and worker said they would come down and show us how to do it and still didn’t work. Maintenance had to come as it wasn’t working properly.

Other hotels in the area didn’t charge for parking for staying at their hotel ($20 per night).

Towels were thin and didn’t feel fully clean.

Starbucks opened at 8am and was only open for a few hours.

The hotel in general and room were very well cared for. The room was above average. Would have been higher rated if not for a discrepancy with the price. At check-in added another almost 20 bucks to the price for convenience fees even though the booking info said full price including fees were part of the booking. There was no other notation on the website for other charges, except parking..

We chose to stay here for our anniversary weekend and were very happy with our decision. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and parking was easy and accessible. Being located right across from the outlet was incredibly convenient, and the price was great for what we received. We would definitely consider staying here again on future trips. Thank you!

Where do I start. First off the hidden fee's are ridiculous!

I paid 20.00 per night for parking so with 2 cars for the 2 nights the total was 110.00. Why? There is no security for parking. I witnessed a car beside mine get the window smashed and broke into if I wasn't walking out my car would have been next. So what is the parking fee for? I also paid a resort fee for the both nights 39.90 in total, but the pool was too cold for the kids to swim and there was no breakfast. They give you a 15% off breakfast voucher except the restaurant wasn't open for us to have breakfast. We paid a 4.8% marketing fee. I will never understand why customers are paying for your marketing. There is also a room tax per night and a separate HST tax and another HST Other tax on my bill. The hidden fees when booking are absolutely horrible. What should have been a 400 dollar stay turned into an almost 600.00 stay

The Friday night I had to clean the tub out for the kids to shower because there was pubic hair and long hair in the tub. There is also a small stain on the window curtains that looks like blood.

The staff was super nice and the rooms are a great size but that is about it

I will not book here again.

Average hotel on the strip in Niagara. I was really unimpressed that there was a surprise « resort fee » charged when I arrived. This is not listed on the listing. Apparently it is for access to the amenities, which are only a pool and gym. This is not a resort, it is just a hotel and they are just normal hotel amenities. It’s basically a scam. Generally this platform is very good at tracking all the details of properties, but this is not the case here. Be prepared that the price you see here may not be the total price.

When I raised this issue with the staff, and showed them that it was not on the listing or on my booking confirmation, they said there was nothing they could do and they would bring it to the manager, but then when I followed up, they had not escalated it. Seems like they aren’t interesting in rectifying it and continuing to run the scam. Disappointing for a Ramada. I would expect more from a hotel affiliated with a chain.

My stay at the Ramada was disappointing due to pricing issues, room problems, and poor amenities.

At check-in, the price I was charged did not match my Expedia booking (excluding $20/night parking). The manager, Daisy, said Expedia’s pricing is wrong and suggested using Booking dot com next time instead. I showed my confirmation, but she still charged more. She claimed an email with correct pricing was sent, but we checked my Expedia account together and it wasn’t there. I also saw two other guests dealing with the same issue. Our conversation went on for 20-30 mins before I gave up. It was a $10-$20 difference they just would not budge on.

Room issues:

First room faced the highway, extremely loud noise through the AC vent, no one could sleep well that night
We were moved to a quieter room (much better)
TV was blurry in both rooms (likely signal issue, not the TV)
Water in both rooms was scalding hot (safety concern, especially for kids)

Amenities were a disgrace so not sure why there is a 'resort fee':

Gym: 2 bikes + 1 rowing machine, very outdated, basement, no windows, poor ventilation
Pool: cold, dirty, basement location, no windows, poorly maintained

The good - The room was large and clean, the water pressure in the shower was good. The bed and pillow was clean and comfortable. The location was not as sketchy as other areas on the street.

Overall, lack of transparency and accommodation from the staff over a $10-$20 difference

I have photos of how dirty the blinds were in the bathroom, Black spots all over them and dust completely covering them. Disgusting. The tv isn’t even facing the beds it’s facing a wall n bar table. Opposite of your bed and it doesn’t even rotate to face the bed. Honestly disappointed with this place sadly. Lobby is beautiful that’s it.

Travelled with family and pet, overall the hotel is very clean with friendly, helpful staff unfortunately all amenities were closed including both restaurants, no lounge, only 1 small coffee counter open only till 11am, there is no games room or pool table, no gift store - hotel description online is incorrect, yet hotel still charges resort fee $20/night and all related taxes and fees that make up over double the initial room rate. Pet charge $40, parking $20/night + multiple strange unrelated fees and taxes - final bill was 2 pages long! Hotel is conveniently located across from CanadaOne shopping Centre but you have to drive to get food. TV in the room has only few channels, half with poor reception, you need to rely on Wi-Fi and your own devices.

Checked in, and first wrong thing was there was no hot water, the attendant came and told us that we had to run it for 5 minutes in order to get hot water, it took much longer than that and it would run in and out of hot water. The heater in the room sounded like a transport truck was in the room with us it was so loud, so eventually in mid morning we had to turn it off to sleep. Not a great stay, only nice thing was that the room was clean. Will not be back.

Iron board fell on us as soon as we opened the closet door because it wasn’t secured properly inside.

Heating was very slow. Took 5-6 hours for the room to get warm enough.

In the morning there was no hot water so we weren’t able to shower properly. We tried calling the reception to mention those concerns but the room phone had no line.

During the checkout we did mention it the lady who was at the reception but nothing was done at that moment.

It wasn't a clear check in/check out process. We were asked to check in early but then at the front desk, they ended up charging for parking again. It wasn't very welcoming upon entering the hotel. The room was nice, it seemed for breakfast it was a discount offered. Not necessarily breakfast included. If we weren't overcharged and front desk was a bit more welcoming I'd feel better about coming back.

Hidden fees added to the room. The front desk lady did warn us about the additional parking fee, ok. I'm cool with that. However, I was not aware of the additional $20 / night resort fee or the DMF fee. The \"resort\" consisted of 4 cardio machines and a small pool. They claim 2 indoor pools, false...yes one small pool and the hot tub was filled with artificial turf. Be up front with fees as I did choose this hotel based on overall cost.

Also, the hotel had a mild mildew smell, very visible signs of wear and tear. Again, slightly expect with price of hotel but was not expecting hidden fees.

We booked a room with a fire place and balcony. When we arrived the room had neither. Upon talking to staff, told the property never had that type of room. I pulled up the website where I saw it - they blamed it on hotels.com...stating different sites have different descriptions. (False Advertising). We left the property, received a full refund. Later told (by locals) good we left - police at that property ALL the time - it's now used for homeless people. Terrible!!!!

First off I booked a room on the ground level and when we checked in, they moved us to the forth floor without even knowing if either one of us had trouble walking. Then the room they put us in was SO noisy from the constant traffic on the highway! It was as though there was no insulation around the air conditioners. Very disappointing... we checked out earlier than planed and will never go back!

We didn’t appreciate all those extra fees at checkout at $170 for 2 nights in hotel fees - plus we paid Expedia $180 a night per rooms was over priced.

Extra parking fee $20 per night per room was another extra fee which we thought would be included per room.

We had 3 cars for 2 nights, so that’s easily a dinner out !! Too many fees everywhere in Niagara Falls now including resort fees ??

Like it’s not a hot beach in the south or anything !! lol

Only one small swimming pool in use was available, for the children to take a quick dip !

Hot Tub would have been nice to use as it’s no longer in use.

Front door security guard all through the night was very kind, and helpful around the grounds.

Niagara Falls is a wild place at night, so we did appreciate that assurance.

Staff was wonderful helping us with whatever we needed including an extra cot for the teenagers!

We had black mold in our room, we found it took pictures had the maintence come to the room to fix it, he knew exactly where it was and only offered to \"glue it back on the wall\". My 70 year old grandma was so sick after the second night in the room she couldn't enjoy the day to go see Niagara falls. The manager has yet to get back to us and has been hiding from us ever since. Never offered anythint for the horrible stay not even a sorry. Will never stay here again.
