Very nice stay for 2 nights at the Blue Moon. Clean, tidy and full of plants and flowers. Pool was well maintained. Would certainly recommend a good place to stay as only 9 minutes drive from Niagara Falls.

The motel property treated by owner as own home. It's very clean and well maintained motel. Outdoor pool is very nice during hot summer days to refresh and relax. There are also BBQ stalls to cook your own dinner. I'd stay again in this motel if visiting Niagara Falls.

At first glance, this motel looks beautiful. The property is well maintained with lovely flowers all around, the room appeared freshly painted, and the sheets were clean.
Unfortunately, the room had a very strong musty, moldy, old-basement smell that was impossible to ignore. Despite how clean everything looked, the odor was overwhelming. After spending only about 30 minutes in the room, I couldn’t breathe comfortably and had to leave. I ended up booking a different hotel for the night.
If you’re sensitive to moldy or musty odors, I would not recommend staying here.

This is the second year my family has stayed here and we absolutely love it !!!! Having the pool and a little park for the kids is great and having the option to be able to have a bbq saves so much money and loved that they had a guest laundry to use. Will definitely be making this our hotel to stay at for our yearly Falls trip !!!

We enjoyed our stay at this motel. It is a very nice family owned and operated business, who care about their guests and the property. The pool was delightful and we swam every day. The room was a bit small but it was well laid out and worked well. We liked that there was a table and two chairs. It was heated/cooled with a mini split heat pump, so it was quiet and did a good job. We would stay there again and recommend it.

It is the finest 2 star motel I have ever been in. It is old but well kept and clean. The value received for the cost of the room was huge! You will not find a better deal anywhere - especially in a crowded tourist town in the middle of prime time.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and there was a small fridge and freezer, but the good ends there. The room was tiny (size of the bed plus a jacuzzi). The smoke detector was resting on some hooks. The sink didn't drain well. We were glad to just be staying one night and leaving early, since there was nothing in the room that made us want to be there. It needs a facelift.

remote control control does not respond properly. pressing enter or select does not do anything have to come really close to the TV to work. physical TV buttons are worn out. Gentleman was kind enounh to provide me a replacement remote but it has the same issue. thats the only minor inconvenience i have. otherwise, its very clean, no cig residue, very quiet area. 4.75 out of 5 i say!

The property was so inviting and cheerful with all the flowers and plants. It made it feel less generic. The staff was helpful and the rooms and property were clean and well maintained. I had a standard double Queen room and it included a fridge, microwave and coffee pot. There were no issues requesting a kettle. The pool and playground were great, especially since I was travelling with kids. They wished they could spend more time there! The back garden was a nice little oasis with picnic tables and bbq's. We didn't use the bbq's but they were nice ones and they looked super clean.

This is definitely an older style motel, but it is very clean. They have an abundance of flowers around the property, making it look very nice. No complaints about the room as long as you don't mind dated decor but it was super clean and we appreciated the extra pillows. There was no extra fee from parking. It's far enough away from the falls chaos, but close enough to get there in a few minutes.
I would definitely stay.

What a nice place this is I can't wait to go back! The pool was awesome actually we had the pool to ourselves and another couple for the whole weekend. Right across the street is a place to buy marijuana and some nice restaurants around there. It was very clean. I just can't wait to go back! The only thing that sucks is coming over the border and they ask you 15 minutes worth of stupid questions! 😂

Not the worst or the best, basically you get what you pay for in this area. The room was clean but did have ants. The area seemed a little sketchy but was fairly close to restaurants and shopping. Never used the amenities as it rained the entire time but the pool area looked nice. Plants are a nice touch.

It was clean and well maintained, our only issue was the light from the bathroom window made it hard for one of us to sleep. Otherwise it was great.

Overall experience was good. Clean and comfortable motel without amenities as expected. Room looks dated, but serves the job well. Beds are comfortable and clean. Not too soft. Nothing fancy, but practical.

Very clean rooms for a Niagara Motel. Having a kitchen was a bonus. My group had 3 rooms and two of us had kitchens we didn’t expect. All our rooms were dated but very clean. Staff were friendly and very easy going.

Bed and pillows uncomfortable, shower tiles were cracked. Very cold room, needs a lot of updating. Way too much for such poor quality.

The room was a good size. Microwave and fridge were both clean. For a mini fridge it was a good size. Front desk Kevin super friendly and helpful when I tripped the circuit breaker because I had to many appliances running lol.

The main concern was the general condition of the room as follows:
1)The flooring had rips in various places.
2) there was one bedside table.
3) the bathtub had no anti slip mat.
4) there were no handle bars in the bath to have a shower.
To avoid potential accident we skipped the shower.

Nice old time motel

Stayed for two days in September 2025. Room had a king bed and a kitchen. Kitchen was well stocked with all dishes, pot and pans you would need if you wanted to cook meals at the motel. Room was very clean. Motel looks like it is from the late 1950s and has had some updates but our room was a little tired but was good value for the price. Would recommend

The Blue Moon exceeded our expectations. Room 23. It is motel style with 2 levels of rooms with outside entrances. The room was slightly smaller than most hotel rooms. It was spotless! 2 queen beds. They wash all bedding, including the top spreads after each guest. Room included a large refrigerator, hot plate, full size coffee pot with coffee, full stock of dinnerware and glasses. There were 2 chairs and a small table outside on the balcony. The landscaping was beautiful! There is a large heated pool with plenty of seating around it, including 2 lounge swings with comfy cushions. There is patio seating with grills and picnic tables avaliable. All outdoor areas also well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed this place and will be back.

Misleading pictures and reviews .

It was quick one night stay as we were passing through the area . The reviews made me book this motel . I am totally confused as to this motel being called excellent. Easy things like painting need to be done badly . The room has a few bugs . It was ground floor so maybe it’s to be expected in summer . Flies were also pleasant and mosquitoes. It’s old and needs a total remodel . Even the furniture was very old and shows more wear than should be expected. On a positive note , the check in was great and so was the gentleman at the desk . We slept well also and the shower was small but worked well . I must say that the reviews and pictures are misleading on this property.

Rented multiple rooms at the Blue Moon Motel this past weekend, as we were playing in a ball tournament. First of all, when I requested that all of our rooms be close together, that request was honoured without question. The rooms were very clean and the property was well maintained. My room had a full kitchenette which was very handy. Boston Pizza is right across the street and Chuck and Charlie's just up the street, so we did not have to go far for food or entertainment. Staff were very friendly as well. I would definitely stay here again.
