This is our favorite place to stay in NOTL because John is a welcoming host; there are bikes to borrow, the outdoor spaces are lovely and quiet; the breakfast over at the P&P is phenomenal. We have been in two different rooms, both were comfortable and had plenty of space. It's a real treasure within walking distance of theatres, main street.

The Inn itself is very nice - quiet, clean room with a mini fridge, tv and coffee maker. The bathtub was very clean and new. Staff was very responsive to emails and came over right away for check in but I don't think there's anyone on site most of the time. The real highlight was the breakfast buffet which is next door at another hotel. Will absolutely stay here again.

Lovely inn in Niagara on the Lake, located in a quiet neighborhood walking distance from Queen Street (shops and restaurants). Breakfast is served in the Pillar and Post hotel next door. Only comment I have is that there are no curtains covering the upper windows, so we woke up at the crack of dawn every morning.

A property with lots of character! We stayed in the garden room. A lovely room with the added bonus of a private outdoor terrace - a lovely space to relax on with a drink after a days sightseeing! Car parking was included with the room which was great. The Weatherpine has an excellent arrangement where you go across the road to the Pillar & Post restaurant for your breakfast - this we couldn’t fault! Plenty of choice and very tasty food! Would definitely recommend the Weatherpine Inn for a stay in Niagara-on-the-Lake!

This property owner committed two serious faux pas I my opinion. First, he charged my credit card for the entire stay, even though we hadn't arrived yet. In fact, we were sitting at Newark Airport waiting for our flight to Buffalo. Greed overcame common courtesy! Second, there was absolutely no housekeeping for our entire three day stay. To my mind when you advertise yourself as an \"INN\" you should at least spend 15 minutes a day replenishing coffee and emptying trash. None of that happened. The room was adequate and breakfast down the block at the Pillar and Post Inn was as well. For more that $200 USD a night we should have been provided more!

Great location! Could walk to the Main Street. Jon the owner was always available and very nice. The room was clean but outdated. Had multiple rugs on top of the carpet so that was strange. Had a nice glass of wine on the porch at night, very quiet area. Breakfast included next door at Post and Pillar which was good. There was still some Christmas decorations on the porch and in our room(it's July)
Good price for the area and proximity to all the shops and restaurants.

The owner of the property was not very welcoming because it was only me and my 7yrs old son. According to him this property doesn’t allow kids less than 16yrs. Additionally he said many places they ask for additional documents if I travel alone with my son. I travel to many places with my son but never heard of any such rule/restrictions. I think it should be clearly mentioned in the Expedia website at the time of booking if it is applicable for a particular property.

The room I received was at the back of the property and not what was initially books as there was a problem with that room. It may have been the “use at last resort” room. The deck was very weathered and in desperate need of some paint. The room itself was dated and tired. No furniture matched in the room and there was probably 4 or 5 sheers on top of each other on the window. A few hundred dollars to get window treatments, a bed in a bag, and matching end tables(without a torn sheet used as a table cover), would go a long way. Two matching chairs would be wonderful. It was clean and quiet and served its purpose for the night. The host was lovely and helpful in getting me situated in the area. There was nothing he could have done at that moment to make the room better. The host did say he had upgraded the room. Though I definitely didn’t feel it after I got in there. I booked this location based on the reviews. If I ever come back to NOTL, I wouldn’t stay in that area. I would stay a little outside(at St Catherine’s hotel) and pay the $10-15 for parking to visit for a few hours. It’s only 10-15 mins away. It was disappointing based on the $ of the room. I definitely expected more, I was thankful it was clean and in a quiet area.

Quaint but hard to sleep

The place was very nice and cozy. We enjoyed the porch and the sauna shower was a treat! However, it was very difficult to sleep. We stayed in the Haven on the first floor. We could hear people walking around upstairs at all hours.
Also, there was a loud humming all night long that made it hard to sleep. I don't know if it was the air conditioner but it was constant. It was also very light in the room as there was no dark shade on the door and porch lights stayed on. The owner was very nice but these were some of the issues we had.

The Inn was a short walk downtown (approx 15mins) and close to many wineries! It's an amazing location.

What a beautiful gem of a place to stay in. its one of those places that actually look exactly like the pictures. I was super impressed with the condition of the room and the bathroom. We recently enjoyed a 2 night stay at Weatherpine Inn and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Niagara on the lake. Phyllis and Doug are great hosts, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The Inn is just a few blocks from the town and it is a short, and very pleasant, walk there. The room was very clean and comfortable. We chose the garden room which provided us with a lovely outdoor space to enjoy a glass of wine (from one of the local wineries) on an evening and breakfast pastries (from a local bakery) in the morning.....just perfect!

This is a great place to stay in Niagara-on-the-Lake if you are looking for a B&B hotel and do not need extras such as a pool, spa, and dinner dining. The inn gives you privacy with rooms that are separate from the owners’ space. The B&B atmosphere comes from the excellent breakfast that is served communally with all guest seated around a large table. Phyllis and Doug are great hosts.
