This was an excellent property and in great shape. Property was well maintained, and the staff were very attentive and helpful. The shuttle service was a plus and was very much appreciated. We will stay there again for sure and we have recommended this place to our friends.
Thomas
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Riverbend Inn. The hotel and restaurant staff/management provided great service which exceeded our expectations. The breakfast (especially the fresh baked croissants) was delicious. They were very knowlegeable about the wineries in the region. The shuttle service made it easy to get around. It was a peaceful quiet location away from the tourist areas. We would definitely return to the Inn again.
JeanPaul
This place was fantastic. We had one night of our honeymoon there and were completely satisfied with the service, the grounds and proximity to everything else including Pellar Estate. The shuttle service was also excellent, thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful spot. Room was very large enjoyed the back patio and access to amenities
Michael
clean room but could use some refreshing of furniture. reception was pleasant but not particularly inviting and there was no reference to shuttle service or local vineyards. reception desk was quite pleasant at checkout.
Chris
A relaxing getaway. We lived our experience at the Riverbend Inn!
Michael
Excellent, attentive staff. Beautiful rooms. Great restaurant. Amazing surroundings. Vineyards all around you. Make sure you sit on the patio at dusk with a glass or two of wine and watch the sun set.

The ceiling above the windows had Mould
The balcony from outside the bedroom was very narrow it had pigeon poop on the top railings
On July 8, 2026 my wife tried to get us a reservation for dinner in the Oaklands Dining Room, for 500pm. Or 530 pm or 630 p.m. none of those times were available according to the hostess, the only available time was 7:00p.m.
Since when do guests taying at a inn / resort have to get a reservation to eat at the resort?
I Salman empty tables in the dining room,
I guess the walk - ins who were not guests are more important than us
I suspect discrimination
Thank you, and be warned, overpriced food and discriminatory practices

Driving down the lane toward the hotel lets you know you made a good decision to book there, it is beautiful. Inside is quaint and unique, an experience rather than a hotel. The grounds are so nice. The staff was incredibly kind. They provide a free shuttle to the wineries. They also offer free bikes with close trails to ride. I highly recommend Riverbend Inn

Our stay was extremely comfortable and peaceful. The staff were always friendly and very helpful. We ate at the Oaklands for breakfast and for dinner and each experience was enjoyable. We will be back for sure!
Amanda
Wonderful little inn with all the amenities, large room, comfy beds, the food at breakfast was delicious. Also it’s close to all the wineries and downtown making it super convenient.
Lenore

Laura
Staff was excellent. Shuttle drivers amazing. Overall fabulous stay.
Angie
This is our second time staying here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful location too
Brian
Excellent place to stay. However, it is very expensive, and I'm not convinced that my love of Riverbend justifies that expense.
Bobbie
Staff was lovely, very helpful. Courtesy shuttle was quick and readily available. Our room was very clean. Would recommend a wine and charcuterie board at the restaurant during sunset, very beautiful. The regular food at the restaurant was low quality (frozen French fries and low quality beef) and I wouldn’t recommend that. However, the staff and view at the restaurant make it worth visiting the restaurant.
Luigi
Beautiful room with a lovely view

Amazing place! Nice staff. The only thing is that the bathroom seat wasn't clean.

There are some spider’ net on the frame of the fireplace.
Looks like nobody cleans the fireplace. The thermostat shows ‘fans on’, the actual meaning is ´Fans off’.
I don’t know for other rooms, it happened in my room when I was there.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is absolutely beautiful and very convenient, especially if you are planning to explore the wineries nearby. The area is quiet and comfortable, which made it easy to relax and rest during our trip. We also really enjoyed the complimentary bikes, which were such a nice touch.

Came for a friends Wedding and this was so close to the venue! Loved everything about it and wish we stayed even longer. Will definitely be back!

We are frequent visitors to Riverbend and NOTL. The Riverbend is a fabulous place to stay giving you close proximity to river trails, walking distance to two great wineries and probably the most picturesque patio you could ask.
We will be back before summer is over :)

Breakfast menu was fresh, view of the vineyard serene. Staff was super lovely and helpful

Patricia
The historical rooms were beautiful and very spacious with extremely comfortable beds.
The scenic landscape behind the resort was an amazing way to watch the sunset.

The hotel had a fun vibe. We enjoyed the ambience of the lobby. The location was great. The staff was friendly, although service could be spotty at times. The decor was extreme minimal, as expected from the photos on the website. We didn't expect that the king-size bed would be in an alcove with no access to the sides.
Mark
A beautiful vineyard to relax and unwind in. The helpful staff and delicious food made for an enjoyable getaway. The courtesy shuttle was an amazing added bonus.
A really great stay, will definitely return.

Loved the location, near the river with walking/biking paths and picnic tables
Nitin
Staff very courteous and helpful. Property by a beautiful winery. Close to the town. Will recommend for sure.
Lina
I like the vineyard, clean room, the staff was friendly and helpful, the bed was with noise when I moved at night , I did not like the small green light in a device at the ceiling above me and the light was on at outside even with the California shutters; some the light entered the room,
Soeren
Beautiful high-end property with attentive and very friendly staff, beautiful grounds and a great restaurant.
Really appreciated the amenities, water and access to bicycles and free shuttle.
This is our third time here and we will be back.

We enjoyed an afternoon beverage at the friendly bar. The views of the vineyard were very serene. Sunset was lovely. The weather was not as accommodating for us to sit outside on the patio or the muskoka chairs but we sure wanted to! The hotel was beautiful and clean and the staff were super friendly and kind. We would totally recommend it and would definitely come back.
Claudia
Very clean, cozy rooms - enjoyed the fireplace on a cold spring evening. Staff were super friendly and although we didn't use them, the courtesy shuttle, bikes and umbrellas to be used are a nice touch!
Don
Breakfast menu was good, little expensive.
Room was great, better suited for 1 king bed instead of 2 queens.
Evening dining experience was great.

A class all by itself - a 5 star rating absolutely can not do it justice compared to the BULK of places to stay
Anna
Beautiful property with truly stunning grounds. It’s perfectly located within walking distance of at least two wineries, plus there’s a scenic trail along the river that makes for a relaxing stroll or a bike ride. Very short distance to NOTL main street.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better.
We also loved the added perks; having access to free bike rentals was a highlight, and the shuttle service was very convenient.
One of the most impressive aspects was how quiet and peaceful it was at night. I’ve never experienced such complete silence in a hotel before.
We’ll definitely be coming back.

The Riverbend Inn is an elegant building in a beautiful property surrounded by vineyards. The staff was welcoming and friendly, the room was beautiful with a comfortable bed and a cozy fireplace.

Beautiful spacious rooms. Breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful.
Laura
It is a lovely place. The restaurant was awesome. There is no elevator BUT they immediately offered to help and they did so I wouldn’t worry about it if you are thinking about it. The room is lovely - and the restaurant staff is especially attentive and kind. When there was a small issue they were great. The patio area is also lovely, the fire pits at night - it is a wonderful experience about 2 mins from downtown. Parking was close - there is only one handicap spot but the rest of the parking is close as well. Highly recommend - it is a quiet, stately, beautiful experience. We will definitely be back.

I left a day early. My wife went ill and we had to leave

Great property, you will have everything you need for your stay.
Wonderful staff , very accommodating and friendly, they will go out of their way to make you feel welcomed, from the moment of check in.
Rooms are comfortable and bigger than expected.

Only comment was the sound transmission was high. We had adult activity going on upstairs for hours which woke us and unable to get back to sleep, pretty unpleasant. Older building so we understand but will likely affect our return.
Wayne
Peaceful environment, furnishings comfortable and period pieces. Breakfast was excellent, no elevator but staff was very helpful with our bags.

It is a beautiful property with lovely comfortable rooms. Had a wonderful breakfast this morning with a lovely hostess. The staff are very welcoming. A favourite place to stay in Niagara on the Lake
Nicole
Time halted as I checked into Riverbend Inn. Nothing prepared me for this story-like stay. Everything was beyond what I'd imagined. The champagne welcome paired well with the immaculate ambiance and warm homecoming welcome. My room was perfection in all its glory! The flicker of the fireplace beckoned home at last...I slept soundly swaddled under pristine sheets in the most incredibly cozy bed. Breakfast in bed was sumptuous. Riverbend is simply next level, reinvigorating! Can't wait to return!
Nigel
Incredible stay and wonderful staff.

I paid for second level room full in advance but when arrived in the property they gave me a room in main(resort) and when I mentioned that my room was in second they said no it’s in main .. so I guessed it’s fine.
When checking out though, they charged me extra for the resort… why??

Overall was ok, nice location, cozy hotel and im general friendly staff.
Only thing is that we didn’t get vineyard view room like was mentioned on booking and also breakfast was so disappointing, especially for the price they charged.
