Location location location.
A small issue in the bathroom shower. Took well over an hour to resolve. Staff unsure of what to do. We ended up solving it ourselves. Given small jars of jam for our troubles. 🙃

What wonderful place. Great location if coming to NOTL for the Shaw festival.
Many venues are within an easy walk. A couple are just across the street!
Also an easy short walk to the main shopping and business area.
Flora in early July is AMAZING! Some of the best I have seen anywere!
Hotel is very modern. Our room was impeccable! Staff as gracious as we have experienced anywhere.
The restaurant is amazing. If you have breakfast, order the avacado toast. I have never had eggs prepared the way that they were served with this dish. You must try them and definitely stay at this hotel. I'm sure you will he more than pleased!

Wonderful property, clean and well maintained. Loved the location, easy to walk to the thick of the downtown core. We have participated in the trolley wine tour, Margaret our tour guide was awesome. She did a great job of the tour and she is hilarious! Bravo!
Paul
The staff was very attentive to our requests. The room was clean.
I would prefer a keurig machine. I find Nespresso too strong.

We've stayed in Niagara on the Lake many time, and decided to try this hotel after having some excellent meals in their restaurant (Zees). Great experience: perfect location across from Festival Theatre, pleasant staff and nice room. We plan to return.
Margaret
Loved our stay at the Shaw Club.
Laurence
We were originally put in room 304. There is an exhaust system from the downstairs restaurant that causes an ongoing droning sound in the room from the time the restaurant opens until a couple of hours after it closes.
When we advised staff, they moved us to the only available room the next night.
Sadly, I think our comments were not the first time they’d heard the issue.

We loved our stay here! The staff were super friendly and the room was beautiful! Would 100% stay here again. Great location too!
Cheryl
Our room was clean & well -appointed. The hotel was close to the Shaw Festival & downtown shopping etc.. We would stay here again.
Steve
This was a last minute booking for us. It seemed more like a boutique apartment complex than it did a hotel, but not really in a good way. The shower was very frustrating because you had to wet with cold water to turn it on. The room was VERY cramped and felt more like a dorm room from the 80’s. It is really quite far from the main sections of town to walk, which was another disappointing aspect. They apparently had bikes you could use, but we were not told about the amenities when we checked the in - including anything about their restaurant. Everything else was “fine” but way over priced for location and offerings. Maybe if you were a part of a club with reciprocity or something the rates would be more reasonable? In the room booklet it did say you could borrow a fish for your room if you were lonely or wanted a “vacation pet”….
Lionel
Great location. Great food 😋 👌
Byron
Excellent stay close to everything.
James
We would certainly return to this facility
Jennifer
Very cute boutique hotel. Great location.
Dolores
Fantastic boutique Hotel! We Will definitely return for another stay.
Close proximity to the shops, restaurants and entertainment. On site complementary parking was an excellent perk.
Looking forward to our next getaway.

Clean with modern bathroom in a great location. Dinner at Zees Wine Bar & Grill was arguably the best meal we had during our vacation.
Mary
We loved that it was walking to stores and restaurants on the main strip. The staff were very helpful.
We loved Zees however found that it was closed at times when we wanted a drink or a snack.

Expedia was a very frustrating experience. I could not extend my stay online through Expedia, full stop. I will avoid booking through Expedia in the future as any changes, cancellations or other issues that need to be addressed are consistently met with resistance or impossibility.
Sabrina
Our room was super cute and cozy, and the best part was it was within walking from downtown NOTL. We had a great stay!
Cassidy
Very clean and beautiful room, quiet area, lovely location to explore NOTL.
Hanas
Great stay. Highly recommend.
Dianne
Beware of Club rooms! These are only accessible by a steep staircase and are off the parking lot in a separate building. This is my second stay and I was happier in the main building. The bar doesn’t open until
5:00 so if you’d like a drink after a matinee - look elsewhere. The staff is friendly and I will stay again - just not in a Club room.

The room was spacious and comfortable with a large shower with rain head. The staff were all extremely friendly. The location is awesome.

Great room with a cute little patio where we could watch people out walking. So relaxing. Close to restaurants, shops and right across the street from the theater.

This was our second stay at the Shaw Club excellent staff great location and nice room only downside was being in the club house this time around which isn’t as good as being in the main building
Berta
Good location
robert
Room was laid out very nicely however the a/c was noisy
Dana
It serves its purpose. Went down to the bar to grab a soda and no one acknowledged us. Finally I asked someone and they said they were too busy. It was not too busy to grab a soda. Front desk kid did nothing to help either. Bring your own drinks. No vending machines, just filtered water available.
Sara
Staff was exceptional.
CT
Great location, nice staff and large quiet room (in the Club room part). The property is not brand new so don’t expect that, but it’s nice for a weekend getaway.
Claudine
Amazing check in super personable. Beautiful room clean spacious. I’ll be back!
Michelle
Staff was nice. Room was nice but dark.
Andrea
Excellent jet tub. Make sure to book the superior rooms!!
Matt
The Shaw Club Hotel was very clean and inviting. The special touches for our Anniversary were greatly appreciated. The staff was always very friendly and willing to help. The room seemed recently renovated and tastefully decorated. The room was very quiet and peaceful. The bed was very comfortable and cozy. We would very much recommend a visit to The Shaw Club Hotel in Niagara on the Lake.
Fiona
Great location. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. We left something behind and they were great at helping us get it delivered to our home. This is the second time we have stayed and will definitely be back.
Pamela
Our stay could not have been better. Our rooms were huge and hotel is located near many restaurants, a lovely park and lots of shops. The ambiance is exceptional.
Tracy
Friendly staff, convenient location, Room was nice and clean. Rain shower in bathroom is wonderful!
Vernon
Wonderful bed.
Alison
Cute boutique hotel on the Main Street in Niagara on the Lake. Close to walk to the shopping area and close to great walking paths.
Renee
The hotel is well located on the main street for ease of access to walk to the nearby shops and restaurants. Easy on site parking around the back of the hotel. Only 5-10 minute drive from most local wineries. The room we stayed in (club room) was newly renovated and very clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We loved our visit and would most certainly stay here again!
Nancy
The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious and well appointed with one of the most comfortable mattresses we've experienced in any hotel. The location is outstanding. Everything is extremely walkable, thus no reason to pay for parking elsewhere. We will return. We've been to this area many times and stayed at both hotel and bed-and-breakfast accommodations, this was by far our favorite.
Jim
With Modern design, The Shaw Club is well located to enjoy the town. We enjoy this hotel and continue to stay there when we are in Niagara on the Lake.
Cheryl
Everything was great, lovely stay, perfect location and the staff was very helpful.
Robert
From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome! The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic and a great start to the day. We were within a short walk to shops and restaurants and a short pleasant drive to Niagra Falls. We plan to come back!
Lawrence
Every thing was fine.
Deb
This is a very nice and comfortable hotel and room, bed, bathroom. It was nice to have black out curtains and an electric fireplace, with an espresso Keurig maker! The bed linens were really nice and soft and they had 5 fluffy pillows on the bed. The chairs in room were not the most comfortable, but oh well. The hotel is at the end of Queen/Picton street so it didn't get a lot of constant foot/car traffic. It is right across the street from the Shaw Theatre, but it wasn't a problem. The hotel staff at the desk, in the restaurant, were all very polite and helpful.
Wayne
Overall very happy with the stay and had a great location
Thomas
The hotel was very clean and a super convenient location to shows, shopping and restaurants.
Ted
Only downside is no elevator with a steep staircase. Otherwise good. Room could use a 2nd chair
Jeffrey
The property was well maintained and the staff was extremely friendly
Nicole
The Shaw Club was a classy, lovely hotel at Niagara on the Lake. We had a great stay, easy check in, and unique amenities such as a virtual concierge and beta fish pet-for-a-day. The lobby had waters, coffee, hot cocoa, a couch/tv to relax in. The room was super clean, beautiful, and modern. The AC worked great, shower had double shower heads, and the room had a Nespresso machine/pods available. It was small, but mighty. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful, everything was a breeze from start to finish!
Hope
Great location and rooms.
Ilona
Very friendly and informative staff. Free parking and close to all shops. Newly renovated and very tastefully decorated.
Monique
The rom was great and the staff very helpful
Alissa
Beautiful hotel in a great location!
Karen
The key benefit was the location: it was a calm, cool oasis in a very busy and warm long weekend at NOTL The large shower was a definite bonus.

I consider myself a seasoned traveler, but this trip I made a major oversight regarding our checkout date. When I realized the error, we were out kayaking and dealing with waterlogged gear.
Despite the hotel being fully booked, Jennifer at the front desk handled my panic with incredible empathy and efficiency. She coordinated with Harbour House to rush-clean a room. Furthermore, the team went out of their way to help dry our wet belongings. This mistake was entirely mine, but the response was pure excellence. Niagara’s Finest Hotels truly offers top-notch service. Thank you, Jennifer and Harbour House!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We have been visiting Niagara on the Lake yearly for decades and this is our first stay at Shaw Club Hotel.
Our room was spotless. The linens for the beds and bathroom were very good quality. With the exception of a few noisy neighbours, the hotel is very quiet.
Our only criticisms are the poor lighting and lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom. As well as the extremely difficult tap to operate in the shower.
Of note, the receptionist did not inquire about our stay when we were checking out.

This beautiful hotel is centrally located so all the major attractions were within walking distance
David
Very enjoyable stay at the Shaw Club, room was clean, staff were very friendly. Location is steps away from the main area. We would stay there again!
Hedy
The room is a bit smaller than other hotels but it is well laid out and inviting. The bathroom is very boutique chic, with a nice big shower stall. The one disappointing amenity was the Nesspresso machine which was dusty and required cleaning badly. Even the box containing the K-cups could use a thorough dusting.
The staffs at the front office were friendly, efficient and very accommodating.
The location is ideal, across from the Festival Theater, adjoining the Zees Restaurant, within 5 minutes walk to other restaurants, and 10 minutes walk on the main street to the Court House Theater, shops and more restaurants.
Nice hotel for a relaxing getaway.

The Shaw hotel was a lovely experience. Located right in the old historic downtown within walking distance to the Shaw theatre and many stores and restaurants. Check in and check out was quick and efficient. The room was quaint and very well maintained. This was our first time there and we definitely will be going back.

Great location and lovely room. Restaurant connected did not open until 11 am but found a great bakery down the street. Fantastic staff.
Eva
The rooms were very good with great beds, showers and amenities. The staff was very helpful!
Kimberly
The Shaw Club Hotel is an excellent spot to stay and enjoy all Niagara-on-the-Lake has to offer. Walking distance from all the theatres and shops with a full restaurant and bar on site. Can't wait to stay again!
William
This was our first time here. We really enjoyed the stay, the convenience of on site restuarant and bar. The food was delicious and wait staff were very friendly and helpful. The convenience to the old downtown area is a plus too. We would definitely go back again to The Shaw
Liz
We had a great experience at the Shaw Club. Room was cozy and comfy. The walls seemed a bit thin, could hear a lot in the halls etc. but that’s prob typical hotel. Would come back. Great location for walking around town also.
Robert
Awesome place

My wife and I stayed here for a night and really enjoyed our stay, rooms were clean and tidy, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Would definitely consider coming back and recommend to friends, family and colleagues.

Timothy
Loved our spacious room, front desk staff were super friendly and we appreciated the great location
Margaret
Perfect stay. Walking distance to everything and parking is included.
Katherine
Very clean and updated rooms, friendly, and helpful staff and an excellent breakfast!
Vicki
Free Parking at the back was great and they have bicycles to rent too! Our room was above the front entrance and you could hear people talking outside clear as day, as well as the enthusiastic neighbours. 😉
Spotless and nice decor. Staff were amazing! Zee’s restaurant has the BEST beef tenderloin!!
Reasonable price but likely because it isn’t high season yet. Stayed 1 night to enjoy the Spring Sparkle event with our mini pass of 3 wineries with food pairings. Will definitely be going back!

Great updated decor. Very walkable. Free parking.

We’ve stayed here often as it is one of the more affordable options in Niagara on the Lake. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. Zee’s breakfast is decent. The breakfast special is a little too basic.
Alvaro
Magnificent
Amanda
Clean room, comfortable bed, and convenient shuttle service
Joseph Jordan
Really great experience here. A point of reference is that I booked the room with the jacuzzi but didn’t realize it is in a separate building. This was less desirable. When I went to the front desk to ask about changing to the main building it was no hassle. This really made the experience, the staff were super friendly. I would say the main building is more updated and nicer overall. Breakfast at the restaurant in the morning was excellent. No complaints would stay here again.

Great hotel central to the main street.
Fred
Very attentive and friendly service. Rooms were elegant and had all the amenities we could want, including the \"out-of-the-ordinary\" (need a pet? you could borrow a pet fish for your stay). Great location, classy building, reasonable price, would recommend.
Nigel
The staff was very friendly, the hotel uses a chat bot named Ivy which was pretty helpful when I had questions. There is a nice are to relax with complimentary coffee and a nice restaurant.
