Our family really loved our vacation here! Staff were friendly, resort is clean and well maintained. The Generations section is quite small compared to some other resorts, which was a plus for us because it meant a lot less walking with little ones, less distance to food and rooms etc. Beach was clean, not much seaweed and the Bali beds on the beach were a huge plus! If we went before lunch, we always got a bed. The more inclusive additions of Nick Waterpark and Maroma beach made this stay even better!
The Palms restaurant for breakfast and lunch was our favourite. We travelled with our child, so only has access to 3 a la cartes and one was fully booked when we arrived. Wine Bar had great service and food was excellent. The Indian restaurant was okay, but not my favourite.
The buffet was the only downside of this resort. There wasn't as much selection, compared to other places we stayed. A few nights were themed. But, if you don't love the theme, it wa

The staff were very friendly and helpful.The kids enjoyed the kids club, outdoor games, crafts and, of course, the pool. Our room was spacious with a great view. Our day at Nickelodeon was so much fun.

Not recommended at all, they charged us 2050$ for just adding another adult to our sweet. We mistakenly put 1 person when we made the reservation. At the property they charged 410$ extra per night for the extra one person. The room service, only fixed the bed sheets. Until I reported that the towels needs to be changed. The other thing it’s the food. We need to run to get a reservation at the restaurants. All fully booked all time we spend the whole visit eating at the Chef Market. And the visit end up with a dead body at the reception front desk. At the checkout… the person who checked us out was very rude.

Our first room had plenty of problems, the shower didn’t provide the option for the rainfall only the hand held, the temperature in the shower kept fluctuating from hot to cold, the safe was defective, the sliding door leading to the balcony wasn’t opening and closing properly.
The concierge was very pleasant and helpful, even assisting my family to change to another room. Overall experience was top notch.

Had everything we needed for a family vacation with a 2 and 4 year old! They made everything so easy! I wish there were more dining options as the buffet was closed 1 day. And the beachfront hotel closed another day. Everutjing else required reservations and was full!

El mar no es bonito
La comida estaba rica pero no es comida auténtica mexicana .
Los trabajadores no saben donde queda algo cuando se les pregunta . Yo perdí mi transporte porque me mandaron el lugar equivocado y me regalaron un desayuno gratis en Nickelodeon y cuando llegué era para una charla sobre cómo hacer e miembro del hotel y comprar su membresia .

property was very clean and room was spacious. But having limited access to beach area ( we could not walk much on the beach area with kids since adult side of hotel would not allow kids to walk pass them) There is Casita (adult only hotel) side where beach is cut off with cement, and there are seating areas and hammocks on the beach my kids were not allowed to be on. there was no one at the beach except security personel watching us not to seat on those seats. With extreme windy weather and seaweeds everywhere making ribbon like line in the ocean and sand, we only got to swim in one pool. Going to Nick water park was hassel and we come to Mexico for ocean, not water park anyways. If we would want to go water park, we have alot more bigger one in the state or Bahama. If you have little babies or kids under 5years old who does not need much of adventure, this is the hotel for you. Very well maintained and Clean for sure. Shower water pressure is amazing. However, if you have little bit older kids, probably not a best choice.

Loved out stay at Generations Resort.
My only issue during the stay was not having at least 2 time options to retune from the water park back to h to the resort as it makes it very hard for your children to be at the park for so many hours and it was such an issue for us to return in the taxi we had to order and pay $30 for. I do have to say the staff is amazing, very friendly, helpful and informative I did communicate this to the concierge office and they offered to help with transportation if I needed earlier for the next day I was going back.
Besides that we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would definitely be back

We traveled with our 2 and 4 year old and worrying they might be a little too young for travel. 3 months later and the kids still talk about how they want to go back and we continue to tell others how great they were with the kids.

The property was very well maintained, the food was great, rooms were fantastic, and the staff... Darn were the staff ever incredible! We'll certainly be back. We're becoming big fans of Lomas properties

Didn’t have much areas for the kids to walk and play as the other resorts were adults only.

Ordered room service twice and it didn’t show up. Other times it took over 2 hours.

Had to go and get water myself everyday. Asked for the mini bar to be restocked everyday and that didn’t happen.

They ran out of bottled water, no slippers, coffee, towels….had to supply room with coffee towels etc from abandoned housekeeping carts. Called for service, most calls were unanswered not picked up.
Food was disappointing, in particular the HABB RESTAURANT, where service was rude and dismissive on both occasions we went there.
Sling bar was superior, bartender excellent and friendly.
Chefs Market and Wine Kitchen were good, although on Dec 22, they refused to seat 7 of us, so 4 went and watched at least five tables for 4 sit vacant the entire evening. Not to mention on our first visit to wine kitchen on Dec17, at about 830 ish after we finished our dinner, we were told to leave by the hostess. Please note service was excellent both times at the Wine kitchen, except for the hostess.
D’italia Casitas, on Dec 20 was good, and the service was impeccable.
Drinks were very poor quality and weak in flavour.
Gift shop was ok, with Adrian being extremely helpful and kind.
Never got slippers for the cold floors, never had bath mats, facecloths and enough towels. Stocking the fridge was never consistent, always looking for bottled water .
Bird crap on the balcony chairs, never cleaned off. Broken screen door, no divider screen like in other rooms between bed and couch. Cabinet Fridge door did not close.
I was surprised that staff had limited if no English , while I tried Español, it was extremely limited. Staff used google translator.

I really liked the big rooms they had! We absolutely loved our main floor swim out! We had Erbie who visited us daily to get our drink orders! The room was very clean, the maids did a good job at cleaning and giving us new towels. I didn’t like how they touched our personal belongings such as our toothbrushes and put them in different places on the bathroom counter. They did stock us well on water but lacked on the snacks they only did that once. We loved the catamaran and snorkeling on Maroma Beach! Drinks and food were included and that was one of the best places we ate!!! There was a lack of communication on instructions for things and where we needed to go or what to do both on Maroma Beach we got there and had no idea what to do. Same for when we left at the end of the week we didn’t know we needed a piece of paper for the transportation but we did eventually figure it out ourselves. But we loved the activities and loved the swim out it was so much fun! Loved the size of the bathroom too! The bartender at Sling Victor was so amazing and friendly we saw him every night! They kept the beach clean! We enjoyed so many meals at the Palms we loved that we can sit out and enjoy the great view of the beach while we ate! Room walls seemed to be thin and we could here a lot, they also didn’t seem to have a limit for quiet time. That did get frustrating when it was really late at night. Overall loved the way the rooms were set up!

Mi esposa, mi hija y yo tuvimos recientemente el placer de alojarnos en Generations Resort, ¡y no tengo palabras para describir mi experiencia! Desde el momento en que llegamos, todo el personal hizo todo lo posible para que nuestra estadía fuera excepcional. El resort en sí es hermoso, con vistas impresionantes y comodidades de primer nivel, pero es realmente el personal el que lo hace brillar.

Quiero agradecer especialmente a Brian, Luis y Alex, quienes fueron nuestros meseros durante nuestra estadía. Su atención, calidez y profesionalismo fueron excepcionales. Siempre nos recibieron con una sonrisa, recordaron nuestras preferencias e hicieron que cada comida se sintiera como una ocasión especial. Su dedicación a brindar un servicio excepcional no pasó desapercibida y realmente mejoró nuestra experiencia en el resort.

En general, el equipo de Generations Resort superó nuestras expectativas en todos los sentidos. Si está buscando un lugar donde se sienta bienvenido, cuidado y mimado, este es el lugar. ¡Estamos ansiosos por regresar!

The place is beautiful, the staff is tremendously welcoming and nice, the property has tons of activities to try out if relaxing at the pools and beaches isn’t for you. There’s a little bit of everything for everyone. Only thing that wasn’t really great was the lunch and dinner, the food isn’t really good quality it was more on the cheaper American buffet style type rather than authentic Mexican style.

Our room was not very clean. Little bugs all around the sinks in the bathroom. Not worth the money we paid. Entertainment was very limited. Resort was a ghost town. Chef's market was the best part of the resort. Room service was very, very small portions. No bottled water at the restaurants. Would not return.

The employees at this resort were not friendly or welcoming. Everyone seemed like they hated their job. From check-in to restaurants, bars, and even housekeeping folks. If you ask for anything you are given a look like you are bothering them. The pool was dirty the whole time we were there. One day, they missed cleaning our balcony and we couldn't use it because there was bird poop everywhere. We received cold food at the restaurants multiple times and experienced servers who would not attend to us. We were with a wedding party where others had a similar experience.

We loved everything about it. The drivers were punctual to get you from point A to point B around the resort. The pool was plentiful. The breeze from our room overlooking the ocean was amazing. The only thing that was a slight issue was in the Chef Market. My fiancee wore a shirt that had very short sleeves and the host was giving a little slack. until we pointed out that there were a few ladies of the same party in pjs and head scarves at the breakfast seating.. other than that.. it was awesome

The staff could not be nicer or more willing to help. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The restaurants are incredible for an all inclusive. The drinks are delicious. We brought our baby and they had everything we needed at the resort - a crib/monitor/etc. It’s not a big resort, but if you are looking for a short relaxing vacation, this is great!
