Staff was nice but the resort had a lot of issues. First off my room wasn’t clean after and hour and a half of waiting. There were wires exposed, pool didn’t work, beach had trash, and they were pushy with their timeshares. All in all we will not be going back.

La dinámica y visión del hotel muy buena. Sus áreas y precios son excelentes. Hay diversión donde quieras que te encuentres.

Tres quejas:

1. No te quieren dar el descuento que te corresponde o promociones. Quieren siempre cobrar de mas cuando sabiamos los beneficios que teniamos.

2. Personal poco empático con lo niños y adultos. No te tratan bien y siempre tienen aspecto de no disfrutar su trabajo. Servicio al cliente 0. Completamente groseros.

3. Productos limitados. Nunca esta lo que hay en el menu, quien hace las compras las hace limitadas y realmente no representa un all inclusive. Se acabó la cocacola y decían que llegaba el lunes. Se iba a restaurantes y los meseros tenían que darnos los que estaba disponible y no el menu del restaurante. No tiene Presidente, cerveza principal del país, tampoco hay agua embotellada. Piñas coladas se acabaron en todas las barras. Lo que promocionan en menu nunca lo probamos.

Los responsables de la cadena deberían vigilar la administración de Punta Cana. El concepto es excelente y como uno viene a disfrutar la pasa bien como sea.

Cuando vea buenos review volvería. Por sus piscinas, personajes, habitaciones y actividades

everything would have been perfect if i had a room with air conditioner i had book the room with the private pool in the room. Any it terrible the air conditioner wasn’t working . Then when i try calling reception they took over 3 hrs to change my room . so me and my Toddler was in a hot room. The mini refrigerator wasn’t working and they need to work on better customer service . i got tired of being in a hot room i had to walk back to the front with my 2 big luggage and a stroller. it was a big inconvenience for me & my baby i didn’t get to enjoy the first night . by the time they change my room it was 8 pm

Las habitaciones no se encontraban en buenas condiciones, varios muebles estaban rotos o presentaban signos evidentes de deterioro. Además, la limpieza fue deficiente, especialmente en los baños. Parte del personal mostro una actitud poco amable. Por otro lado, los horarios del buffet y de algunos establecimientos de comida resultan poco convenientes para los visitantes. El area de los parques de agua estuvo excelente para los niños y lo disfrutaron mucho. En general, no cumplió con mis expectativas.

La propiedad no está mala pero el servicio pésimo y cerraban los restaurants y los buffet durante la estancia so de verdad q muy caro para lo q ofrecen los tragos malísimos y si quería alguna bebida especial tenias q pagarla porque solo tenían lo básico y la comida tampoco había variedad en fin la única q persona q se portó con nosotros muy bien fue la señora Luisa la manager general del hotel q trato de ayudarnos siempre para q nuestra estancia fuera mas placentera para mi una experiencia bien mala solo están enfocados en venderte el timeshare ahí si t tratan bien por tal de q compres y otra cosa es un hotel de niños era para q tuviera incluido el desayuno con los personajes q tienen un costo extra y créame q el hotel es bastante caro para ademas pagar por eso desayuno verdad para mi un 2 de 10 no volvería ni lo recomendaria

Main buffet options fell short, when compared to our previous visit 3 years ago. Basically it had same options every day, and it lack things for kids like tenders, burgers quesadillas, etc. The aqua Nick restaurant also had limited options when compared to our previously visited, and we were told it ess due to the grill not working…. When talking about drinks, oue first day jn Aqua nick we were having good quality drinks including mojitos, the second day there was no wiskey nor mojitos…. they said all was consumed day before and they do not get filled that fast… las day in the night bar, also drinks were limited and we were told it was because it was sunday and low season…. we didn’t get to experience the dominican night activity…
sThe machete restaurant was only opened 1 day in our 6 day stay…. Food and beverage was inconsistent and decreased the quality when compared to our previous visit.

Pros: the new water park and the the kids playground, the sweetery and the snick bar, which i consider a great addition!

El hotel ya lo habíamos visitado antes y el deterioro en todo es súper notable. Las habitaciones se sienten viejas y la limpieza deja mucho que desear. Los elevadores no funcionan bien, en un hotel de niños. Llegas a las pocos lugares de bebidas o comida y es súper limitado o no tienen. El personal solo se preocupa por venderte la membresía prestige y si dices que NO se olvidan de atenderte y ayudarte en toda la estadía. No informan de forma clara nada de lo que pasará en el día, el primer día que llegamos y el segundo el buffet cerrado sin razón. Las piscinas se ven bastante deterioradas y hasta sucias en algunos lugares. En fin por el costo NO volvería, ni lo recomiendo. La gente se veía muy molesta cuando pagamos por vacaciones para disfrutar.

Nuestras vacaciones en Nickelodeon no fueron exactamente lo esperado. El hotel es muy bonito y el staff del hotel en general son muy amables y preocupados. La atencion es exelente. PERO, esperabamos mas actividades para los niños. Nuestra idea era que seria un lugar con actividades todo el tiempo para los niños por todas partes. No fue asi. El parque acuatico esta muy bueno, los niños lo disfrutan mucho y tiene los dos Clubs ahi mismo. El parque esta a 5 minutos caminando desde el hotel o te llevan en el carrito si tienes paciencia para esprarlo. El parque cierra a las 4:30 y los clubs tambien. Si quieres poner a tu hijo despues de esa hora tienes que pagar. Eso me parece que no deberia ser. Ya bastante dinero pagamos por todo y TODO deberia estar incluido. En el centro del hotel donde esta el DJ en las noches, seria muy bueno para los padres que hubiera algo asi como un Club para los pequeñitos donde podamos dejarlos sin tener que pagar y poder verlos cuando querramos para estar tranquilos y tambien disfrutar un rato los adultos. Tienen el Nick Lounch pero yo personalmente no dejaria a mis niñas solas alli porque no hay staff del hotel para vigilarlos/cuidarlos. Solo tiene las maquinas de Arcade, un bar y un escenarion donde tambien hay un DJ. Los niños se pueden salir solos si no estamos pendientes.
La aplicacion Karisma no esta updated con los horarios de retaurantes y es bastante frustrante. No deberian cobrar tampoco el desayuno con los personajes, deberia estar incluid

Overall, our family had a good time and enjoyed the opportunity to disconnect and spend quality time together.

The room was clean and matched what we booked, although we experienced power issues twice during our stay. Maintenance responded quickly and fixed both problems within an hour.

Most staff members were friendly and helpful. Our concierge was very attentive until we declined the timeshare presentation, after which communication stopped. Service was otherwise excellent, except for Alejandro at Fresco Bar, who was consistently inattentive.

Food was hit or miss—some meals were great, others arrived cold. Restaurant reservations fill up fast, and kid-friendly snack options are limited.

The shows were fun, and the complimentary stroller for our 3-year-old was a nice touch. However, many items and activities cost extra, making the “all-inclusive” experience feel less inclusive than expected.

Overall, a good family vacation with some notable areas for improvement.

La mayoria del personal fue bueno con algunas excepciones, poco personal, se acabaron muchas de las bebidas incluso el helado se acabo cerraban reataurantes sin previo aviso incluso supervisores acosando al personal por tomar propinas en realidad las facilidades son increibles pero lo demas no esta para nada al nivel de su precio. Estuvimos 1 hora para ordenar comida en su restaurante wok wok cuando llego estaba fria y con muy mal sabor, mi esposa cumplia años pedia que porfavor le pusieran una banda de happy birthday en la habitacion y jamas lo hicieron en relidad mis hijos lo disfrutaron al maximo y es lo que mas me importa pero deben hacer un cambio de management y mucho dwl personal.

Pools are great. ROOM SWIM UP closes at the same time the main pool closes 6-7pm which is ridiculous. You pay so much money so your children can enjoy swim up pools just for security to tell you at 7:05pm it’s too late and the swim up pool at YOUR ROOM is also CLOSED. Food is a 4 out of 10. Restaurants are a disaster. First thing they tell you at the door is you can’t make reservations but in reality you do. Buffet is NOT open all day. You have a schedule time to eat if NOT you’re not eating!! I will NEVER go again! 8-10 breakfast, 1-3 lunch ~and dinner 6-9

It was our second time at the hotel. The first time was way more better than this time. They lack of activities for children's in the area of the pools and in the main plaza where all the restaurants are. The air conditioners on the rooms were deficient, they didn't get the room cool at all.
Food was ok.
Overall was a good experienced but could be better.

If you are staying in this hotel, front desk is not helpful at all, the first night we couldn´t use the bathroom because it was clocked, they came to \"fix it\" but the guy said he was going to get some tools and never came back.

Next day our toilet still clocked and was 5pm and our room had no service plus our minibar was empty.

Pool attendance is very good, food is not great, splash pad it´s awesome.
At check out there´s a huge line because theres´s only one person working there. If you ask them to help you with your bags, do not waste your time, they won´t show up. I had to carry my own bags 3 floors down because the elevator was broken and drag through all the resort to take them to the shuttle.

Bad attention, there was a lack of work staff, if you want to eat in a restaurant you have to queue for 3 hours because it is on a first-come, first-served basis but when you arrive at 5:30 there is no one and they tell you that they are full until 7:30 or 8, there are always more than two restaurants closed, so that they transport you inside the hotel they pass you by empty and tell you that they are going to pick up someone, I stayed 5 days and still does not pass the one who puts the things in the fridge in the room I left 20 dollars and picked them up when I left, the ice cream one in the ice cream shop every time I went with the children was never there and you had to wait for it to appear, if they see that you are Latino people pass in front of you like it is hard for them to serve you you notice it on their faces but when you give them 10 dollars of tip the matter changes, in the places we booked we never appeared on any list and they always left us for the end being the first to arrive. I love the Dominican Republic and its hotels. This trip was unlucky. It was my badest experience.

The room was clean, and the pool area was great. The beach had quite a bit of seaweed, but it was still swimmable and the sand was very soft. The small water park within a 5-minute walk was convenient and a lot of fun for younger kids.
The property was well maintained overall, although some areas were starting to show signs of wear and tear. The food was typical all-inclusive fare and became repetitive after a few days. Nothing particularly special, but we always found something good to eat.
Overall, it's a good option for a 3–4 night stay. Any longer and it may start to feel a bit boring.

I feel so bad for anybody who shows up to this resort for any amount of time. We are in the Dominican staying at finest excellent and went to Nickelodeon to stay for one night so our five-year-old could experience the waterpark and the characters we had a stay that we had purchased to stay the night and the facility was so disgusting and the food was horrible. Disgusting the staff was not helpful. 10 out of 10 would recommend not booking here. I would not even go back for a day pass or the waterpark pass it is not worth it. Stay away from this property. It was honestly disgusting. It is like motel six energy with a picture of SpongeBob in your bedroom. Pretty sure there were semen on the pillow. It was unacceptable. We did not even stay the night that we had purchased there and hopped in a cab back to finest excellence so fast we did the slime experience. It was pretty cool, except it smelled like sewer and stained our bathing suits. I can’t think of anything fun about this except my son smiled when he saw the ninja Turtles that was it.

I listed positive and negative from my current May 2026 trip to Nickelodian resort in Punta Cana.

Positive;
* Clean resort that is well maintained.
* Nice rooms that have maid service daily.
* Excellent waterpark for young children (2-13ish)
* Restaurants other than buffet (when they are open!)
* Costume characters for youth.

Negative:
* Restaurants that are closed for days (including the buffet)
* overpriced upcharge on numerous items/events (meals, dining with characters, etc)
* about 20 percent of the staff downright unfriendly (especially at Aqua Bites)
* Childrens shows at night can be as short as 3 minutes long.
* Website needs some major upgrading!

If you have young children they will love it! I
If you have older children or you want to go as an adult, you have much better options at the same if not better cost.

I would give my overall rating of the resort a 2.5 out of 5 stars.

Al llegar al hotel un empleado te hostiga para que cojas una charla para que te hagas socio. Te explica brevemente el hotel y después te sigue hostigando, incluso después de decirle que si a la charla desaparece y no te ayuda en nada más. La comida es terrible, la mayoría estaba fría. No había muchas actividades para los niños. Para poder ver a los personaje tenía que correr por todo el hotel. Actividades para los adultos cero. Ellos tienen un tipo de parque o plaza donde había un poco de música que prácticamente no se escuchaba mucho y ya a las 10 de la noche lo apagaban. Además estaban corto de personal en el área de los restaurante y el buffet. Este es mi cuarto viaje a punta cana y este es el peor hotel que e visitado.

- Limpieza del cuarto fue terrible. El piso sucio, el baño sucio, los cristales manchados, los zafacones sucios y rotos.
- El aire no enfriaba lo suficiente. Se sentía calor y no había forma de bajar la temperatura.
- La piscina cerraba temprano, los bares de las piscinas cerraban temprano.
- Los restaurantes no aceptan reservaciones; es un reto poder cenar a la hora de tu preferencia.
- Su gente amable, muy amable. Dando lo mejor… pero se siente un ambiente de cambio o mala administración.
- Me gustó que cada ciertos pies había salvavidas en el área del parque acuático. Se sentía seguro el ambiente del parque.

The buffet staff and housekeeping team were excellent and provided great service throughout our stay.

Unfortunately, our experience with check-in and check-out was frustrating. If you have an early flight, be aware that delays during check-out could put you at risk of missing it.

We stayed in Building 8, which appeared to be in need of maintenance and updates. From what we observed, Buildings 1–4 seemed to be in better condition.

The resort seemed much more focused on upselling services than on guest satisfaction. Unless you’re a Prestige member, expect additional charges for many amenities and services. Overall, the experience felt geared toward Prestige members, with non-members receiving significantly fewer benefits.

The food was decent but nothing exceptional.

If you have any complaints, they likely won’t get resolved unless you ask for people’s names and take pictures of both the staff involved and the issue. Good luck!!!

Staff were great, very friendly, always willing to help and guide. There are not much activities for kids - you have to pay for pretty much everything unless you just want to be at the pool or wait for the night shows that start at 8pm when most of the kids are really sleeping. Only 1 buffet breakfast open every day, and same for lunch.. unless again you want to pay for breakfast with the characters etc. We were a bit disappointed, I feel like they should have had more entertainment during the day all around the hotel.

I recently stayed at the Nickelodeon Hotel in the Dominican Republic and honestly had a horrible experience. I was expecting a fun, family-friendly vacation for kids, but it was the complete opposite. The staff were rude, unhelpful, and not informative at all whenever we had questions or needed assistance. Customer service was very disappointing for a resort that promotes itself as luxury and family-oriented.

The rooms were also not kid-friendly as advertised. There were several things that made it uncomfortable and inconvenient for families traveling with children. The water park and resort activities also felt unsafe and poorly organized for younger kids. Many other guests were complaining about the same issues during our stay, so it clearly wasn’t just us experiencing this.

For the amount of money spent, I expected much better service, accommodations, and overall experience. Unfortunately, this trip was stressful instead of enjoyable. I would not recommend this hotel to families looking for a relaxing and kid-friendly vacation.

Great for kids because they don’t mind bad service and horrible logistics for the restaurants and golf carts transportation. It was really complicated to eat at the restaurants always full, long waitlists and subpar service with an exception of a few waiters. Watery drinks and cold food at the bars and the buffet. Tip buy bottled water they only leave 4 stocked at the beginning of the stay if you want additional it’s a hassle getting them, there’s no bottled water available at the restaurants or bars only through concierge and very limited. The beach is a red flag high waves dangerous and full of sargassum. My kid enjoyed it tough so no regrets on that end. Not for kids over 12 they will get bored after a night or two.

We traveled during Memorial Day weekend. Complete garbage dining, first come first serve policy, when each night there was at least 2 restaurants closed. I went to Skywalker at 5:30pm and the lady said first available is at 8:15pm. I look inside and I see at least two-thirds the tables were empty. Two nights we ended up dining at Explorer's Table, which served the worst quality food (breakfast was good though). I was in the checkout line for over an hour. Lots of drivers waiting outside and some people talked about missing their flights. This place is way overpriced and you're treated poorly. If you want All-inclusive, choose a different resort. If your kids love cartoon characters, go to Nickelodeon Universe or a Disney theme park. You're not getting both.

El parque acuático es muy bueno. Hay personal muy amable otros normal. Su enfoque es ventas, vender el time share. El proceso de check in y check out muy pobre. Pocos empleados en el mostrador, no son muy amables y sobre una hora de espera en fila para poder hacer el check out. La aplicación tiene información contradictoria a la real, y es muy limitada lo que se puede hacer. La comida es buena en general. La limpieza y mantenimiento esta bien. Ya traje a mi hija, no creo que regrese. Hay otros hoteles mejores, lo mejor es el parque acuático.

The food was nasty. The dinner restaurants was unorganized. They would run out of seats by the time we got back from the excursions and when we were able to get seats to eat, most of the food was finished. The buffet was nasty (for the most part), the juice was not all natural (think orange juice powder mixed with way too much water), and the ones that were made with actual fruit was nasty because they mixed it with way too much water. The best thing was the welcome drink. Everything else was nasty.

Primero me Robaron dinero de mi cartera en el Hotel y el Hotel no quiso enseñarme las cámara y me cambiaron la versión varias veces. Segundo las actividades son bien escasas casi no hay actividad. El personal la mayoría son malcriados. Son muy pocos los que te atienden bien. La comida 90% de las veces te la entregan fría. Y no es un Hotel seguro por que te roban y el personal no quiere ayudarte.

Waterpark and pools are good. Free shuttle across resort. Food was so so —not many options (many were closed; we had to go to the buffet most of the time). Restaurants were crowded. No hairdryer in the room, waited for 2 days before they finally gave to me (and it took about 5-6 phone calls).

I’ve stayed at many all-inclusive resorts, and this was by far the worst one I’ve experienced in the Dominican Republic. Most drinks came with an extra charge, and the A/C in the rooms would not go below 73°F. My kids couldn't sleep sweeting, One employee even told us they keep it that way on purpose to avoid high power bill.

They offer 24 hours room service and everyday we tried ordering food for our girls and they never came.

The bathroom was dirty and broken, the buffet food was terrible, and the protein options were very disappointing — one day it was only salmon, and another day an extremely chewy, hard steak. The staff was rude and not helpful at all, which was shocking because customer service at Dominican all-inclusive resorts is usually amazing.

On top of that, they offer you breakfast with the characters in exchange for attending a “20-minute” presentation, but they pressure you into staying for hours trying to sell you a membership. Every time you say no, they send another, even more aggressive salesperson.

Overall, it was a terrible experience and definitely not worth the price.

Mi experiencia en Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana fue bastante decepcionante. La limpieza de las habitaciones dejó mucho que desear, los baños estan sucios y con moho, incluso me pico una araña en el cuello que estaba en la almohada, y la atención de las camareras no fue la mejor en ocaciones.
Además, la decoración de las habitaciones se siente vieja, llena de polvo y realmente no refleja la temática ni los personajes icónicos que uno espera de un resort de Nickelodeon. La experiencia visual y ambientación no tienen relación con lo que el hotel promociona.
Las actividades del resort también son muy pobres para un hotel de este nivel. Muchas comienzan tarde en la mañana y, en ocasiones, aunque aparecen programadas, simplemente no se realizan. Esperaba una experiencia mucho más organizada, limpia y entretenida, especialmente siendo un resort familiar.

Definitivamente hay mucho espacio para mejorar en servicio, mantenimiento, organización y entretenimiento.

The food:
Poor to average at best. The buffet is unfortunately the best dinner option.
The rooms:
Dated not well maintained take a shower and the floor next to the bed would be soaked. Beds weren’t comfortable
The pools:
Are fine, missing tiles all over the place but it’s a pool the water was clean
The waterpark:
It’s fun spent 2 full days there basically the aqua bites Resturant there isn’t good. They have a pretty large menu but never seem to have what you want.
The staff:
Most are friendly however they try and upsell you on everything constantly. All inclusive should mean all inclusive
Concierge:
Be careful with them they will offer discounts on things like the character meet and greets but you must complete a timeshare seminar for you to get any discounts. They even tried to charge me for a character breakfast I didn’t attend. Took 2 days to get refunded and many people to talk to.

Overall it was a disappointing trip it wasn’t as advertised even the photos they use aren’t up to date or accurate. They use photos from their Mexico location which is newer and presumably nicer.

Overall, we had a nice stay at Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana, but there were definitely some disappointments considering the high cost of the resort.

The resort itself is beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. Aqua Nick was the highlight of our trip and where we spent most of our time. Staff was friendly overall, although not always very helpful.

The biggest downside was the food and dining experience. The food was average, and many restaurants were not open daily, so we ended up eating at the buffet most of the time. Spacewalker looked amazing inside, but the menu was disappointing. The burger restaurant took over an hour just to take our order and serve food.

The app was also inaccurate at times with restaurant hours and activity schedules, which made planning frustrating.

One major disappointment was having to pay extra for character experiences at a kids resort. We paid for the character breakfast and Ninja Turtle dinner, and neither felt worth the extra money. The food was basically the same as the buffet, and you’re mostly paying to see the characters dance briefly before lining up for photos.

Room service was very slow, sometimes taking 2–3 hours, and once not arriving until the next day.

Overall, it’s a nice, clean resort with a great water park, but the food, service delays, and extra charges for kids’ experiences made it feel overpriced.

I’ve stayed at several hotels in Punta Cana, and this was my first — and definitely last — time staying at Nickelodeon. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the rooms were in poor condition. The closet doors wouldn’t close, the sliding door to our private pool was cracked, and many things looked rusty. It seems like maintenance is not a priority here.
The staff was just okay. Unlike other hotels in Punta Cana, where staff usually go above and beyond because tipping is common, this hotel attracts guests from many countries where tipping is not customary. Because of that, the staff didn’t seem motivated to provide great service or even a friendly attitude.
The food was terrible. This was the first all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana where I didn’t eat a single piece of steak at the buffet ir any restaurant, because you had to pay extra for it. The buffet itself was a mess — dirty tables, and the waiters rarely checked if we needed more drinks. Even more than an hour before closing, many food items were already gone, and they would simply say they had run out.
The restaurants required reservations in advance, and not all of them were open every day.
Overall, I expected much more from this hotel, especially considering that it’s far from cheap. It was very disappointing. I would recommend many other hotels before this one. It markets itself as a family-friendly resort for kids, but I believe other resorts offer the same experience with much better quality.

Staff was very promising but would not come through. Room service would take hours to deliver food or any item requested. I waited over 10 hrs and called 3 different times to have a crib brought up for my kid. It seemed that their only concern was getting us to attend a presentation to commit to their travel agency. The food portions at the restaurants were super small. Be also prepared to pay extra for EVERYTHING. The bar staff were super nice specially the ones by the pool.

We expected more for our money. We were there for 7nights Sat-Sat. There is nothing gourmet about this place. All inclusive but limited availability. They ran out of a lot of things, chicken tenders first night, macaroni, tequila, wine, hamburgers, and multiple menu items at all the restaurants and bars. The food we did have was barely mediocre. Different restaurants were closed multiple nights. The bath tub in our room would not hold water. We barely saw any characters. The main characters they have are, fairly odd parents, Patrick, Spongebob, 4 paw patrol members, Garfield themed and ninja turtle themed things. All in all it was not a relaxing time we felt very restricted, very much not on vacation time. We tried the spa for a couples massage while we paid for a baby sitter for our son. The massage was relaxing but way over priced. And our son came back from the kids club with a massive bruise on his chin. The TVs in the bedrooms did not even have a Nickelodeon channel to watch when we were in there.. I would recommend finding a normal resort with some kid activities and area. The “Nickelodeon” part of this place isn’t worth the extra money.

If you’re looking for a sign on whether to book Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana, let this be your sign NOT to do it.

We booked this resort for my daughter’s 4th birthday wanting something special for our kids. We are a Disney-loving family from Miami, so we expected a fun, immersive family experience. We stayed 8 days and were extremely disappointed.

The main attraction here should be the characters and kid activities, but there are very few included activities and almost all character interactions cost extra and they are expensive. Most things don’t even start until 10 AM. The playgrounds are tiny and underwhelming, and many activities are only for older kids.

The entire resort feels run down. Everywhere looked dirty, broken, or poorly repaired: rooms, play areas, water park, restaurants, and food was terrible. We are not picky eaters at all, but almost everything was overcooked or chewy. The only consistently decent option was the fish.

The rooms were old and poorly maintained. The AC barely cooled the room and staff told us “it’s just like that.” Plugging in the hair dryer shut off power to the room.

Lastly, much of the staff was rude unless you were constantly tipping. Overall, this was nowhere near the premium family vacation experience we expected.

While the rooms were clean and the staff was incredibly nice, our overall experience fell short of high expectations. We faced a major issue with room service when an order we placed because we were too tired to go out never arrived at all. This forced us to venture out, only to face a 45-to-60-minute wait at local restaurants that stretched into a painful 85 minutes with a crying baby. To make matters worse, the food order was wrong and the sodas were completely stale.
On the positive side, the kids had a blast at the water park, the pool, and meeting the Nickelodeon characters. However, for the parents, it was a mediocre vacation with underwhelming food. The buffet was our only consistent dining option, and even that was just average.

Nickelodeon Punta Cana was an amazing time with my family. Not sure if the bad reviewers expectations were too high but this resort was solid. Our Rooms were spotless and cleaned properly daily. Staff was polite and helpful our entire stay. The food was pretty good especially the Dominican food at the buffet. Can’t expected 5 star food at a kids resort. The water park and HUGE pool area was great time! Nickelodeon characters were easy to find based on schedule provided. The entertainment shows were enjoyable for kids and adults. There’s even a lounge at night for adults and kids to hang out together or separately. There’s nothing bad I can say. Thank You Nickelodeon Punta Cana. I will recommend to all friends and family. It’s all about the kids enjoying an amazing stay at the end of the day!

El upgrade es un completo engaño, te convencen a realizarlo dado que la piscina principal está abierta hasta las 5pm, cuando en realidad cierra a las 7pm.
Te lo venden 24 horas y al llegar a la habitación en las instrucciones de la piscina definen un horario de uso 8pm.
Los restaurantes no son por reserva, pero al llegar a la puerta te informan que están llenos y de afuera se pueden apreciar las mesas vacías. Un hotel de renombre te obliga a comer en 1 solo diminuto buffet y de proteina solo cuentan con chuletas por \"carne roja\". La desinformación entre los propios empleados y la temática del hotel son sumamente pobres. El costoso desayuno con los personajes no es cónsono con la promoción. Piscinas vacías y cortes de luz que afectaron el uso de las pocas atracciones. En fin cuando chocas con la dura realidad de haber viajado a un lugar donde prácticamente te tienes que aguantar todo el periodo de la estadía y no cumple tus expectativas, más que frustración una pesadilla.

We stayed at Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana and were extremely disappointed given the price and expectations of a 5-star, family-friendly all-inclusive.

While the beach is beautiful, pools are clean, and some staff were friendly, the overall experience did not match what was advertised.

The biggest issue was the food consistently cold, bland, and extremely limited. The lunch buffet was often closed, leaving almost no decent alternatives, especially for children. This is unacceptable for an all-inclusive resort at this price point.

The “all-inclusive” alcohol was also misleading. Only very low-end liquor was included, portions were small, and anything mid-range or better required extra payment. Even basic requests like wine to the room or kid-friendly slushies were refused or charged extra.

Only 2 of 4 restaurants were open during our stay, service around the pool and beach was minimal, and entertainment was underwhelming and not truly kid-focused despite the branding. Character interactions were limited and poorly organized.

The kids club was also not practical for families, as children could not participate unless left alone with staff, which doesn’t work for many parents.

Overall, this was not a 5-star experience and did not deliver on its promises. We would not return or recommend it.

Esperaba más de un hotel Nickelodeon. Primero tuve una mala experiencia en el restaurante buffet en el primer día de mi estadía, uno de los colaboradores que servía comida me hizo una broma de mal gusto. Luego de comentar la situación con la concierge, los supervisores se disculparon.

Las personas que trabajan ofreciendo regalos a cambio de participar en una charla para ser socios del hotel son bastante insistentes.

Lo que sí me gustó fue la comida en el restaurante italiano y en el restaurante Space Woker, la comida deliciosa y la presentación de calidad. También el restaurante “Fresco” es muy bueno.

El restaurante buffet no es muy bueno,

Recomendaría mejorar el servicio de bebidas e implementar más bebidas naturales.

La atención al cliente me parece que debe mejorar, solo unos pocos colaboradores fueron realmente amables.

Beautiful pool and beach! I really liked that the water park area is separate from the main pool and beach, it made it feel more relaxed overall. The water park itself was great for kids; my 6-year-old had a blast on the slides, though it was a bit smaller than I expected.
We upgraded to a beachfront swim-up room, and honestly, that saved our trip. The room location and convenience made a huge difference.
Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. Even for an all-inclusive, it felt very mass-produced and low quality—most of it was barely tolerable, and even the pizza wasn’t great.
Service was also hit or miss. While we did come across a few genuinely warm and welcoming staff members (who really stood out), overall the friendliness level felt lacking.
In the end, the upgraded room made the week enjoyable, but based on our overall experience, we wouldn’t return.
