I am going to start with the pro's for our stay. We selected a preferred club room because of a previous stay at another Dreams property.The preferred club lounge is quiet and has a better offering of liqueur as well as some snacks. The The preferred club pool with swim up pool bar was the best part of our stay. Ethan was exceptional and made great drinks. I am generally a wiskey drinker and ethan made a wide range of mixed and blended drinks that were great.

Now for the cons.
This is a beach resort and the beach is a zero! This is early in the season and the seweed is already piling up in big stinky mounds.

Food
The food at this resort has no care. From the pool grills to the bufett's and theme resturants. At the pool grills you can expect french fries and other items that were cooked food 30 to 60 minutes before it was served. Fish tacos were the only thing close to being fresh.

The theme resturants were a big let down. Ingredient quality and exicution were a big miss. We ate at the french resturant two nights. The first time was okay but best out of the others. Unfortunatly our second visit was a disaster. The Onion tart appetizer cold again. We over looked this our first fisit. We both ordered filet medium rare. Both of them arrived raw 1 hour after ordering. The staff was incredibly apologetic and refired our order. 30 minutes later we were served another set of raw steaks. I had a great piece of grouper at the Mexican resturant.

The resort was amazing and the staff were even better, so helpful and attentive took care of us so well went over and above, they over shadowed the resort and not saying something because the resort is quite lovely very well taken care of clean and with so much to do. We would not hesitate to come back or recommend it for other people whether you have just a couple or a group or a family. This was our second year in a row going to this resort and we loved it both times! The staff especially are so welcoming and friendly and treat us like family! We stay on the preferred side mainly for the adults only pool and a quieter, more mellow vibe. My only minor disappointment (personally) this time, since we had last year to compare to was there seemed to be slightly less variety of food at the buffet each day. Or rather, there was usually an okay variety of options but every day seemed to have the same options, the same stations, etc. Last year we were more surprised/impressed by each day always having new options and variety. The specific items I missed this time was a Crepe station at breakfast and churros offered in the dessert spread.
Overall we had a great time and will continue coming back!

Staff was great and accommodations were very nice! There were pretty long lines for dinner a couple of nights, but the bar by the beach and lobby bar were good spots to wait. The resort was packed, so chairs were tough to find if not out early enough. Beach is nice and long, but most of the water is pretty rocky.
Overall an amazing trip!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Dreams Jade Riviera Cancun. From arrival to departure, everything felt easy, welcoming, and well taken care of.
We were celebrating our anniversary during this trip, which made the experience even more special. Carlos surprised us with a sweet room decoration, and it was such a thoughtful, personal touch that really set the tone for our stay.
The weather was beautiful the entire time, the service was consistently great, and there was always something happening if you wanted entertainment. The Super Bowl show was a lot of fun, the bars were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed but lively.
The staff truly made this trip memorable. Carlos and Julian were fantastic as our butlers and made everything run smoothly. Melvin and Francisco took great care of us at the pool, along with Sergio, who kept the pool food coming and did a great job. The bartenders Alfredo, Fernando, Esther, Evan, Leopoldo, Omar, and Oscar were friendly, attentive, and always upbeat.
At the restaurants, Erik and Aurelio consistently delivered great meals, and our waiters Jose, Antonio, and Janette were warm and attentive throughout our stay. Marcos at bell services was helpful and welcoming, Dillon and David kept the activities fun, Cristian gave an excellent massage, Oscar in the Preferred Club was great to work with, and Erica in housekeeping kept our room spotless every day.

Could not control AC, temperature always dropped to 16.5 no matter what temperature was set.
Restaurants were systematically closed on rotation ( 1 of 5 every night) lineups were long for reservations.
Extremely poor poolside management for lounge chairs at the preferred pool.

This is our second time at Dreams Jade and we loved it again! A big part of why the trip was so great is how nice all the staff are. Everyone is soo friendly and makes you feel so welcome! Special shoutouts to Juan at the Mexican restaurant, Karen who was the breakfast hostess at preferred Mercure (she is very sweet!), the two guy servers at the preferred pool were amazing and the guy in preferred lounge made me the best iced coffees I’ve ever had! The resort if very clean, the service is amazing and we would for sure come back. Thanks for a great stay!

Beds and pillows are super hard. Mini fridges in the room don’t get very cold. We had a family trip with our kids and couldn’t go to certain restaurants because it was adults only. The food was mediocre.

On a good note staff was very nice and helpful. We absolutely loved the pool staff and water activities. Night time entertainment was so much fun. The staff definitely made our trip amazing.

Our stay at Dreams Jade Resort & Spa - All Inclusive was absolutely incredible from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed—warm, attentive, and always ready to go above and beyond.

The resort itself is stunning. Beautifully maintained grounds, crystal-clear pools, and a beach that feels like something out of a postcard. Whether we were relaxing poolside, enjoying the ocean breeze, or walking the property, everything felt peaceful and thoughtfully designed.

The food exceeded expectations for an all-inclusive. Every restaurant delivered quality, variety, and great service—no shortcuts, just consistently good meals and drinks. Room service was prompt and well done, and the bars kept things fun without ever feeling chaotic.

Our room was spotless, comfortable, and relaxing—exactly what you want after a day in the sun. Housekeeping did an excellent job, and the attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed.

Entertainment and activities were the perfect balance: plenty to do if you want it, but never overwhelming. It’s an ideal spot whether you’re looking to unwind, celebrate something special, or just completely disconnect.

We left already talking about when we’ll come back. If you’re considering Dreams Jade, book it—you won’t regret it.

We just returned from an incredible 5-day family stay at this resort in Cancun, and it exceeded every expectation! From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely amazing.

The food was delicious with so many great options—every meal felt like a treat. Pool occasionally dirty due to gardening right next to it. Sometimes heated pool stopped working and was cold.

Bad experience with room not being cleaned and being accused of using ‘do not disturb’ sign, which we had not/didn’t use for the whole trip.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Dreams Jade Resort & Spa in Puerto Morelos. The resort is beautiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff provided excellent service throughout our visit. Room service and the restaurants were very good, and the overall atmosphere made for a relaxing getaway.

There are, however, a few areas where improvements could elevate the experience even further. While the food quality was good, offering more diverse menu options and slightly larger portions in the restaurants would better accommodate a wide range of guests.

Additionally, the music and entertainment in common areas—especially around the pool—felt repetitive and limited in variety. The resort attracts guests from all over the world, yet the entertainment often seemed primarily catered to Caucasian guests. A more diverse selection of music and entertainment styles would create a more inclusive environment where everyone feels represented. Hearing the same artists daily can become monotonous, and broader cultural representation would greatly enhance the overall vibe.

Overall, this is a lovely resort with strong service and great amenities. I would happily return if these changes were made. With more diverse food options, slightly larger portions, and more inclusive entertainment, Dreams Jade Resort & Spa could provide an even better experience for all guests.

The resort is very nice for families. The pool has multiple sections giving different vibes at each. The restaurants are centrally located and easy to get to. I have a fractured ankle and had to use a knee scooter and found it very accessible. The food at the restaurants was extremely good compared to other resorts. The buffet was just okay. I wish the pool had more group activities. They were only offered at 11am and 4pm. These activities were so much fun for my son. We celebrated a birthday and it was a bit frustrating that I had to call the concierge 3x to remind them to put a door banner and bring a cake. Also I will add that I made a reservation for hibachi and when I arrived I was not listed in the book, instead replaced by a family who had a wedding at a resort. Thankfully I kept the reservation card as proof otherwise they wouldn’t have sat us. The fire show is by far the best entertainment at the property, the shows in theater were not that good having technology issues and the space needs to be updated. They were renovating during my stay 12/12-15. It’s nice they are making repairs. It did not interfere with my stay. The workers at this property are fantastic.

I love our room, and the view. Our room has jacuzzi overlooking the pool and the beach. Staff is very friendly.I love that the outdoor pool is heated. You can order food delivered to your room. The kids enjoyed the activities and amenities as well. They clean the beach early, so sargassum is gone before we walk the beach. I love Coco Cafe, it's open 24 hours for snacks and non alcoholic drinks, love my dalgona coffee hot or iced. Restaurants has good food. This resort is busy with weddings. We were there for 7 nights and we seen 8 weddings all thru the week. Definitely recommend the resort.

My husband and I spent a week at this resort. The room was spotless and spacious. The staff was superb. They were friendly and waited on us hand and foot. A special shout out to Roberto, Edder, and Julian at the Preferred pool. They always had extra towels, a table, and drinks ready for us.

The food in the buffet was good, however, the food in the warming pans was never hot, just lukewarm. We especially enjoyed eating at the French and Italian restaurant.

While at the hotel, my husband had a medical emergency and had to go to the hospital. The hotel doctor checked him out and the hotel transported us to the E.R. They also picked us back up the following day. The staff was very attentive and Paulina Oritz checked on my husband every day to make sure he was doing well. Although having a medical issue wasn't ideal, the hotel made us feel so comfortable and we are glad we didn't cut our vacation short.

I recently spent 5 days and 4 nights at Dreams Jade, and from the moment I arrived it was clear I was in good hands. The resort delivered exactly what I needed, a relaxing, fun, and well-run getaway that balanced comfort with great entertainment and outstanding service.

The restaurants were consistently impressive, the adult pool was my home base most days, and the nightly entertainment never disappointed. The fire show and Mayan show were absolute standouts, karaoke was a blast, and the DJ kept the energy high without ever feeling over the top. My room was cozy, clean, and a perfect retreat after long sunny days.

What truly made the trip exceptional was the staff. Their teamwork and warm hospitality created the kind of experience that keeps guests coming back. A huge thank-you to th staff.

Every one of them contributed to a stay that felt both personal and seamless. Dreams Jade consistently hit the mark on service, food, activities, and comfort. I left rested, well-fed, and already thinking about when I can return.

Our recent stay at Dreams Jade Resort & Spa provided a truly relaxing and engaging vacation experience for our entire group. The resort successfully balances luxury amenities with fun, accessible activities, making it an excellent choice for families traveling with teenagers and adults alike. The accommodations immediately met our standards. Our room was spacious and consistently clean, providing a true sanctuary after a day in the sun.
The resort's pools were a definite highlight of our daily routine. We appreciated that the main pool areas were not crowded, allowing for true relaxation and easy access to lounges. While the pool offered the excellent amenity of being heated, we did note that this seemed inconsistent throughout the stay; some days it was wonderfully warm, while others it felt cooler. Despite this small fluctuation, the pool environment remained a favorite spot. The restaurants were delicious, offering high-quality dining that surpassed typical all-inclusive expectations.
Beyond dining, the entertainment and activities team did a commendable job of keeping everyone engaged. The schedule was varied enough to capture the attention of both adults and teenagers, which is often a challenge.
A unique experience we highly recommend is the bike ride into town. This provided a fun, local excursion, lasting about 20 minutes each way. We had approximately 30 minutes in the town to browse local souvenir shops and visit a grocery store, offering a nice break f

We stayed in the preferred section with kids, the suite was perfect in size and the balcony was also a good size with a tub. The food was of a higher quality than most all inclusive resorts. Only issues I had was that for the first 2 days we faced a wall instead of ocean view, the resort did move us and we loved the new suite. There are lots of weddings in the weeks. And the groups just take over, the pools get extremely busy also places a wedding venue right outside our suite so was very loud, we were lucky our kids were old enough to not be bothered by the music or fireworks at the end but if we had a younger family if could have been worse. I am really torn on if I would return as the food and grounds are lovely, the service is great, the suites are a great size but the negatives were the size of the property when big groups come in, not enough shade but the pool and only one large family pool which gets busy especially in the weekend.

We had to change rooms because our first room
Which was a paid for ocean view, we could only see the main garden area. On top of that the room smelled of a combination of must, mold, and mildew.
The second room was much better even though the AC did not appear fully functional. The room cleaning staff also did the bare minimum work they could have.

I would say overall the resort is well maintained. Rooms and other facilities are good. Entertainment team was doing a great job.. House keeper was ok as they do not have a consistent standard of service the room. Most staff are well trained and friendly Except one. I would recommend that Food and Beverage department needs more improvement. Just a Day before we check out, our family of 7 were lined up for 45-50 minutes for the Italian restaurant for our last dinner. The hostess was really rude as she said we did not wear proper shoes. We all have close toe shoes which I believe it’s a common practice for the resort dinner restaurant as the dress code. As we were talking, two other guests with sandals were walking out of the restaurant. I invited her to see it and she got really mad afterwards and told us to go away as we did not meet the hotel policies. WOW, we were speechless and didn’t even expect that type of behaviour from a 5 star hotel staff. I went to file a complaint and talked to her line manager but he didn’t do anything. I don’t quite understand that this resort close some of their restaurants for dinner. There are 6 restaurants in the resort but typically we can only have 3-4 open. Overall, not a great experience but I would say most staff works really hard to make us enjoy our vacation.

Do not book!! The resort rooms are falling apart. The pictures are photoshopped or AI generated. The beach is hideous and covered in seaweed. The staff (Roberto) lied. We booked king oceanfront preferred. The ceiling had a shady patch over a leak and the drywall was falling from the ceiling along with liquids. Plaster falling from many ceilings onto balcony tubs that could be seen by all on their balcony. They moved us to a double bed room that wasn’t leaking. Said they would compensate us for room difference but did not-Roberto. Pool bar closed before 5. Mexican restaurant was delicious. The lunch buffet was not although we did arrive late in the afternoon. My father died my first morning there. Upon immediate check out was told we’d be reimbursed for our stay, never happened after two messages to hotel and their only reply was they were sticking to their policy of no refunds even though I didn’t ask for one, they offered it! The day after my dad died and I was grieving with family, a staff member kept calling to rate my stay. Not a good time, clearly they lacked communication. The only nice parts were the central lounge area and front patio for smokers. The construction in the rooms is so outdated. I’d rate this a one to two star hotel. Went with two other couples who have never had such a sad resort when staying with dreams. One couple’s ocean front room reeked as if something died in it I’ve been to Mexico resorts four times and this was the only bad one. Buyer beware!

The hotel is excellent as are all the staff who genuinely seem to try their best to make your stay the best it could be. Would recommend the preferred option as this gives you access to a private bar area and pool area which is quite calm and less crowded. The preferred rooms also give you ocean front rooms and even a whole full suite which is fantastic. We loved our week in this suite.

At 6am, i called for our Room Service ORDER of COFFEE, so my husband and I could sit out on Balcony to enjoy the SUNRISE while drinking our coffee, and even Tho i'd requested TWICE 'Lots of cream for the Coffee-bcuz my husband and i BOTH like 'LOTS OF CREAM', and the 'order taker' REPEATED my Request TWICE!, It took a LONG 45 mins! For JUST A POT OF COFFEE to BE DELIVERED! AND Not only was there NO SUGAR Nor SPOONS PROVIDED TO STIR OUR COFFEE but The Room Service Attendant had ALSO NEGLECTED TO BRING THE CREAM WE'D REQUESTED!! So! A FULL POT OF PURE BLACK COFFEE was Wasted/ since WE did NOT DRINK IT!

Overall it was an alright stay. Property is kind of outdated. Needs a better variety at the buffet. It is the same foods each day. Would like if there was more entertainment and more places with TV's as there is only one sports bar on Resort. Dining Options are good but the Hibachi place was closed the whole time we were there. Room service could be better as well. This resort is good if you are booking last minute. Angel was an excellent server by the pool.

Getting There
The trip from the airport to Puerto Morelos was full of surprises. I’ve been visiting Mexico almost every year since 1995, and this was the first time I’ve seen Route 307 in such poor condition. Vegetation was overgrown above eye level, the road had numerous potholes, many lane markings were faded or missing, and several signs were either damaged or incomplete, showing only partial directions. Upon arrival in Puerto Morelos, we encountered even more potholes and narrow, uneven streets.

Parking
Valet services were our only option — not ideal, especially since our room was located very close to the parking lot. The staff required us to leave the car keys with the valet attendants, which proved inconvenient; one day, it took about 20 minutes just to retrieve our car.

Restaurants
The resort offers several good dining options, we loved the Mediterranean and Japanese. The cafeteria also had a wide and satisfying selection of dishes.

Facilities
The property itself is very attractive and well maintained.

Beach
The beach was comfortable and equipped with plenty of palapas for shade. However, during our stay, sargassum was a major and persistent issue despite the continuous efforts of the staff to keep the area clean.

Pools
There are two beautiful pools, both featuring swim-up bars. They were consistently clean and inviting.

Everything was exceptional! Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond with requests or assistance.
The room was in very clean and in great condition. Temp was set to a cool temperature during entire stay and helped with dealing with the heat and humidity.
Pool was also very exceptional and perfect with ample space to swim and relax.
The spa services were above and beyond as well. A very private and intimate setting and amazing services. 11/10!

I had an amazing time at Dreams Jade Resort. The main reason I chose this hotel was its location—it’s much quieter than Cancun’s Hotel Zone, which made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. During my stay, I had no complaints at all; everything was absolutely perfect!

I’d like to give a special shout-out to David and Fernanda from the entertainment team, as well as Cecilia, the sweetest host at the Castaway restaurant. Juan, our waiter at Tamarind (the Mexican restaurant), was phenomenal, and Luis and Fabiola from the Asian restaurant were both professional and incredibly friendly.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the daily and nightly activities made the experience even better. I definitely plan to return to Dreams Jade Resort!

The reason my wife and I keep coming back are the staff like Cecilia, Antonio, and especially our favorite staff member Armando at the Preferred Club pool. He makes you feel like you are royalty. This includes Karla at the pool. Wait staff like Omar. It's not so much the resort itself. The old lady is starting to show her wear but it's the people I mentioned that make this resort. I encourage everyone to give Jade a chance. If you do make sure you eat at least once at Mercure you won't regret it!

Property was a little older but clean. Our cleaning service was amazing! Only thing I didn’t like about the room was the fact that our balcony hot tub took over 45/1hour to fill up. I’d booked an ocean front suite and I’d honestly recommend going for the ocean view so that you can see the resort and the ocean which is a much more pleasant view in my opinion due to how small the beach is and it’s filled with seaweed. Beach was very seaweed filled. We got 3 of 7 days to use the beach for part of the day. Pool was great! Food was great for dinner but room service was very mediocre. The breakfast buffet was decent but the selection wasn’t rotated much at all except for one little line that had bacon only some mornings. Very packed and a lot of people reserve pool chairs before they get down there and leaves slim pickings if any, don’t get down there any later than 10:00 am. Overall 4 out of 5 stars. I’ve stayed ate secrets maroma, and Hyatt ziva Cancun which are both part of the same collection. We enjoyed this resort as a family but I don’t see us ever returning. If your an all inclusive person than this is a decent place to start off but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’ve been to other property’s that may have been more expensive or higher rated because it can get kind of disappointing.

The room was clean daily which is a big plus. Unfortunately, there wasn’t anything to do in the resort. There weren’t many options for food and many restaurants were closed. The beach view room I was in was a tease. By “ocean view” it was if you looked over the balcony to see the corner of the oceanfront. The jacuzzi was dirty and nothing like the pictures online.

We stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary, and it was absolutely amazing! The hotel was spotless, beautifully updated, and thoughtfully decorated. Our ocean-view room was so spacious with a huge balcony that made it extra special. Dining was incredible. The Teppanyaki restaurant was so good we went twice, and we also loved the Mexican and Italian restaurants. The French restaurant is a must for breakfast! I was a little worried after reading some reviews about the food, but everything we had was phenomenal. Even the buffet was great, though for dinner I’d recommend the specialty restaurants.
The spa was a highlight. We booked a package with a massage, facial, and hydrotherapy session—it was pure bliss. The staff was professional, everything felt top-notch, and we even brought home some of their amazing products. The pools were fantastic, with two swim-up bars and attentive servers who kept drinks coming whether we were poolside or in a cabana. For our anniversary, the hotel went above and beyond with champagne in our room and a sweet door sign—it truly felt special.The only drawback was the seaweed on the beach, but staff worked hard to clear it, and of course that’s beyond their control. There are a few shops on-site, but larger shopping areas are 30–45 minutes away. We also did a catamaran excursion that included shopping, which worked perfectly.We loved the priority lounge with top-shelf drinks. Overall, our stay was unforgettable, and we highly recommend!
