We had a fantastic experience at Ocean Coral Springs! The resort was extremely clean and the staff was exceptional (Britnie!) - extremely helpful but not pushy or sales-ey in any way. We traveled with two young kids and the resort had a ton of activities to keep them entertained, including Daisy Club, water park, family lounge and bowling. The food was delicious too! Overall, it was a 10 out of 10! Thank you for a great time!

Ocean coral spring is a great all-inclusive resort. I picked this place based on other reviews, mainly on the food. I can confirm, the food is the best all-inclusive food I've had. There's a lot of variety in restaurants, buffet options, and desserts. The rotation at the buffet was great, didn't feel like I was eating the same thing every day, even though for breakfast I kept it consistent. The drinks were good, and I liked the slushie machines they had to make it quicker.
The rooms were very nice, updated, and clean. Housekeeping comes every day and you can request anything you need. We had an issue with the ceiling fan, called the service, and 10 min later the maintenance guy was there to fix it. Same thing with the room service food. Their website app is great, and very helpful.
The options for kids are great, we brought our 21 month old and she had a great time. People and staff were very friendly.
The beach is fantastic, people complain its rocky but I found it really cool with variety. There's paths in the water you can walk through to not hurt your feet. The water was an amazing temperature mid-june and clear.

A few small let downs as an FYI
- The lazy river wasn't the best, and they need double the amount of tubes they currently have.
- Almost every table we sat at was wobbly. Little pet peeve but I'd happily volunteer to test all of them and give suggestions on fixing.

We had a lovely time and Ocean Coral Spring did a great job with everything there.

2nd vacay to Jamaica…Collectively food was the best in the 2 travels. Seasoning and preparation rivaled and sometimes exceeded the specialty restaurants off the resort. Room was great with an awesome balcony. Staff was great as well. Would suggest having a few more basketballs for backup. Neither of the 2 onsite were retrievable.

An awesome stay nonetheless. RECOMMEND

I found the staff to be exceptionally warm and attentive, and the activities were a highlight of the trip. Unfortunately, the dining experience fell short of expectations. Visiting Jamaica, I anticipated a richer selection of authentic Jamaican dishes, but the options were surprisingly limited. Beyond the usual curry goat and oxtails, there wasn’t much variety in traditional Caribbean cuisine, which left me a bit disappointed.

I am very disappointed with my stay at your resort. I feel that I wasted my money and did not receive the quality of service that was advertised.
The food was often cold, and the drinks tasted watered down. I was never informed that there was a privilege section of the resort where guests receive better service, better drinks, and better food. Had I known this before booking, I would have made a different decision.
When I arrived at 12:00 p.m., I understood that check-in was not until 3:00 p.m. However, I was told my room would be ready when the buzzer went off. By 3:35 p.m., I was still waiting while I watched other guests who arrived later receive their room keys. This was very frustrating.
The first room I was given smelled of mildew and felt as though it had not been occupied in a long time. The room also needed better cleaning and maintenance. The shower had a musty odor, the white curtains and benches were stained and dirty, and the overall condition of the room was disappointing.
The mini bar was poorly stocked. Since this is a family resort, I expected more beverage options. There was only one apple juice for a child, one Sprite, one Coke, and a couple of Red Bulls. There were no snacks provided. I understand the resort is in Jamaica, but not everyone Red Bull . There should have been a better variety of beverages available in the room.
When I raised my concerns, the only accommodation offered was a bottle of wine, which did not address the issues I experienced

The only staff I encountered that needs to be more polite and friendly is the host at the Sugarcane Restaurant can’t remember her name because she didn’t leave a good taste in my mouth even my nieces age 11 said Auntie she is mean. She is of short built and twice I went there she was the same . Overall it’s a nice hotel clean I rate it 10/10 . I would definitely recommend and will be returning . Not a 5-star resort by any stretch of the imagination. The property definitely has potential but the staff looked visibly miserable. They were not serving; they were ‘dispensing’ meals and alcohol. They barely made eye contact and seemed bothered when approached. I actually blame the property management. The staff is a reflection of how it’s being managed.

Beware of the privilege package sales people, they will harass you throughout your stay. Besides, the upgrade is not worth it. Food was just ok-I’ve had much better in similar hotels in the area.

Overall, very ‘meh’ in terms of quality. Oceans Coral Spring doesn’t live up to the advertised experience or price.

Resort had multiple Restaurants but had to wait long for assistance in restaurant and for food in those without buffet service. Had to wait 2 hour for a meal and when it came it was cold. They took a while to refill certain options in buffet restaurant and if you did not get there early enough certain items where no longer available. Hence reducing your choices. Also had to repeatedly warm everything in the microwave available as food always cold. Also there were stairs around property with no rails that I almost fell down on.

Nice, quiet, joyfull, good food. I'll give a 4.2 stars to this property. We buy the privilege package and still wondering if it was necessary as the property has not much to offer on terms of extras at the restaurants and bars compares to regular packages. Still i had Glenlivet and some premium alcohol but no difference in the restaurants. The room was upgrades but the bed still was a regular hotel bed. Needs to improve this in the experience taking into consideration that people who are willing to buy this kind of package sleep all days in premium mattress with premium hotel collection sheets. All the attention from the staff was super premium.

Overall we did not like the hotel.

The food was ok, buffet was very small and à la carte restaurants were not impressive. We did see cockroaches in the buffet and around the hotel, at least 3 times. The shows at the hotel weren’t great, mostly bands that came to play. The hotel is also 45-60 minutes from Montego Bay, so it takes a while to get there and back.

Pool was beautiful, beach was small but extremely rocky. Drinks were amazing and extremely strong.

Would we go back? Probably not, this was our first time going to Jamaica and we would probably rather visit other hotels.

The entertainment was great and the rooms are nice..The only negative was the lines for an omelette or stir fry and a lot of times, they wait for the trays in the buffet to empty before it is refilled and the line for the jerk chicken. - Rooms will not equipped with Shampoo or Conditioners in the bath ,,, only body wash
- we found a cockroach in our room and we have picture for it :-)
- Most of the staff looks under pressure - they do not smile and working under pressure
- On Top ... The hotel describe themself as all inclusive but in fact this was a trick .. upon check in they will ask you if you want to upgrade to Privilege gust or not?? .. this would cost us around 1500 USD for 4 persons - 2 rooms - 5 days. and I refused becuse the reservation is supposed to be all inclusive
- One of our two rooms was upgraded to privilege room (only the room NOT the service) and the privilege room includes shampoo and conditioner in the shower while Non-privilege room doesn't include :-))
- in Restaurants some items in the menu you have to pay for it to get (Which is supposed to be included in All inclusive)

Overall our stay was great at Ocean Coral Springs. The only thing that we didn’t enjoy was the dining situation. All the restaurants are only open a few hours, which to me doesn’t make sense for being an all inclusive resort. We got back to our resort around 4:30pm after being in an excursion all day and there was no where open to get food. It was super frustrating. The food was also okay, not super overwhelming

Not sure where the “5 star” resort claim is coming from given that it’s more of a 3 star-

1. Check in was horrendous (states 3 pm but rooms aren’t actually ready by then as stated by previous reviews)

2. Rooms are filthy and barely functional- my husband took his socks off when we got to the room the very first day and the bottom of his feet already turned black within only a few mins of being there; unfinished tile work in the bathroom, very poor craftsmanship, stains on sofa, drawers that you’ll have to fight to be able to pull out, tv has to be turned on and off a few times to work, our AC stopped working on our last night even though the patio door was closed- maintenance guy had to shake the patio door to get it to work as it had “a glitch”- like what?!

3. Service can be good or bad- some act like they hate being there, had a particularly unpleasant experience at the fruit shake bar twice- first time, I asked if i can have a pineapple in my shake (there is a pineapple I can clearly see bc it is right in front of me), lady working points at it and says “I can’t cut it right now I’m busy) second time, there were 3 ladies standing at the bar and as soon as I stated what I would like, two of them walked away and one ended up cussing them as she was the one left to make a shake; it takes forever to wait in line at restaurants but servers at restaurants were nice

The check-in let us down. We did book with the Privilege service upgrade. Their is a small dedicated section for persons booked with this service which is nice, however, the check-in time to get the room after the scheduled 3PM check-in was over 2hrs. The check-in process was not smooth. Also, we were not offered any welcome drinks upon arrival. It was hectic inside the lobby area as well.

The room was excellent size, very spacious with a balcony jacuzzi on the top floor. The room could have been cleaned better, especially the floors. It was well stocked, Privilege amenities included throughout the room which was thoughtful. Very nice double rain shower head, double vanity and private water closet.

The pool was gorgeous and was perfect temperature while being cleaned daily (mornings).

There was a coconut stand by the main pool selling coconuts for $8USD which was a bit pricey but the convenience of being opened daily was great.

There are multiple bars everywhere, you will not go far without finding a refreshing beverage.

The Privilege service was worth it for the added benefits such as Privilege lounge, dedicated bar with premium liquors, premium upscale restaurant for breakfast, lunch & dinner, dedicated concierge for reservations & anything in between.

The entertainment was excellent including the night time activities.

We recommend staying at Ocean Coral Spring & look forward to connecting with management in the future.

Got to hotel early 10:00 because of early flight. Check in is 3:00, room ready at 4:00, told check in starts at 3:00 and is not a guaranteed time.
Doors in room hard to open or close because they are stuck to floor. Room booked for 4 got towels for 2. No iron and steamer not working; got another one the next evening.heated mirror in bathroom made dressing a sweaty uncomfortable chore.Only fans in most areas so rooms not cool.Air conditioning not working.
Worse is the hijacking of visitors who used booking services such as Expedia for free” breakfast which was already part of all inclusive package. This is to listen to a sales pitch for their privileged service. I had to go thru 3 different sales persons before being able to escape.
Food is good with a good variety. Not much entertainment provided, especially for small child. Staff would not get manager to fix delay at check-in but met with manager after check out. Hope he can implement needed changes
Excellent service from Daicia with JTL, who went above and beyond in assisting myself and family.
WIll not visit this resort again or recommend them to anyone.

I rarely leave a negative review but this hotel did NOT meet any of the expectations. For a hotel that isn’t even 10 years old it’s disgusting. Upon check in the lobby smelled like a garbage disposal. We got the swim up room which at first I was happy with but when the bell hop brought us into the room and the door opened I was like “what the hell is that smell”! Anyways I looked around the room and bathroom thinking that housekeeping must have missed something because of how nasty and dirty the room was. The bathroom had dirty mold in the grout, the bed linens were dirty!
I’m not sure if other guests felt this but the water in the shower felt like you were showering with filtered sea water. The AC didn’t work for two days!

The staff pretends as if they are trying to address your needs and concerns but it’s all BS!

To the hotel owner, you should make sure you pay the workers properly so that they can do their job diligently. It’s obvious that they feel underpaid and because of that the care that they should show is lacking.

Stop responding with automated messages and actually address the problems that guests talk about!

For anyone traveling, while the pictures online looks great the food options sucks, the staff in the restaurants have the worst attitudes, they act as if you are bothering them when you ask a question.

To say I was disappointed with my stay is an understatement! I’ve stayed at multiple resorts and this by far is the worst of the worst.

The hotel stay was great with family. The food was great. Good activities for the kids - loved the bowling, water park and kids play area. Also loved the wide open spaces for the kids to be up and about.

These were my sour points though:
1. The rooms and restaurants were very hot because the AC was not working during my stay. The heat without the AC also resulted in very moldy smell in the room and other parts of the hotel
2. The servers only come around about 3 times after which you don’t see them again
3. There was no were designated for changing a baby in any of the bathrooms.
4. The restaurant menus including the buffet didn’t have much children friendly options all the time. Total headache if you have picky eaters.

The food was great with a lot of variety. I love that there were multiple restaurants to choose from. The staff very courteous and helpful. My room was clean and cleaners came by daily especially once I upgraded to a higher tier membership with the hotel. I loved all the activities available on the resort. They have snorkeling, sailing and scuba diving right on resort so you don’t have to go out for that. Upgrading your room packing gives more perks and access to special areas…I would recommend doing that if you want to access the cabanas and privileged areas daily.

My only negative is that the bathroom/room should have additional hooks in the shower to hang bathing suits. There was no she’s to hang my wet swimsuit other than in front of the sink which is not a good idea for keeping the floor dry. I also recommend that front desk should inform guests about restaurant dress codes while checking in. I wasn’t aware you could wear tank tops at a restaurant and I was turned away from one of the restaurants on my first day. It’s an embarrassing lesson to learn in front of others, especially when you’re hungry.

Here’s a cleaner and more polished version of your review while still keeping your honest opinion and personal tone:

I want to believe this hotel is still somewhat new and they haven’t fully gotten everything together as yet, so I’ll give them some grace.

First of all, check-in takes a very long time. Also, be mindful about the bedding situation. Even if you request a king bed on the website, you may only get whatever is available when you check in.

The hotel also doesn’t seem designed for rainy days, so keep that in mind if you’re booking during the rainy season.

As for the drinks, to really enjoy them you need to purchase the Privilege Package or higher. The regular all-inclusive package only includes house drinks, which honestly makes the experience feel limited.

The resort is also kind of boring during the daytime because the entertainment is not very well organized. Housekeeping still needs improvement as well.

However, there are a few things I really enjoyed. The coffee shop is nice, some of the food is great — especially the hibachi and several options in the buffet — and I loved the little ice cream bar.

There are a lot of trolley cars around the property, but I’m not sure what their purpose is because no one ever offers guests rides, even though I saw some guests using them. I’ve stayed at other hotels in Jamaica where the staff regularly offered trolley rides around the resort.
They just need more experienced personnel to truly give guests that authentic Jam

Sugarcane restaurant for going out of his way to make my birthday dinner AWESOME. The restaurant ran out of escovitch fish Lamar went out of his way to go to another restaurant and get the fish for me. I felt so special.
JoeMarie the butler was a sweetheart. The staff is so friendly and respectful. I will be back
very soon. I’m glad I decided to take a chance regardless of the negative feedback

The customer services was horrible my room had the worst smell. I had to request another room and had to pay then when I got the new room it smelled so horrible. I would like my money back for the payment of the knew room.
That resort will not last if customer services doesn’t change

With the exception of the room service team which took my order then send an email confirming delivery of said order, whilst not actually delivering the order (Resulting in me waiting around for no reason) the resort was good.
Omar from the front desk was exceptional at his job and was extremely professional event with large groups processing for check in.

Clean. Friendly staff. A shout out to Odette at the towel booth. Great food choices. Pool is huge! Kids' area is exceptional. The beach is shallow with rocks. Not for jumping in the waves. Lots of seating by the pool and on the beach.

The facilities are well kept and the room that we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The entertainment and food was excellent, chef Fabian is exceptional. Overall I love Ocean coral hotel this is actually my second stay at the property. Food is good entertainment team is good I do believe that they could have wait staff in the pool area to help with getting drinks and water for guest because Ididn't see any.
The property allows persons to stay until three and the check out person told me even though she is removing the band I can still enjoy the property, so because I was told that I went to the jerk hut to get some chicken and pork so became l know the serving size is normally small bout me and my friend ask for two serving which I didn’t think was a problem because I have done that before and also saw other guest do. Mr Bowd was serving the meals very politely and friendly when he was interrupting by a Mr Ewards asking for our check out pass and that we were only allowed one serving each and he also had to sign the check out pass which he did. I was so embarrassed and taken aback because I have never been to a all-inclusive and was told I was only allowed one portion of anything.
