The room was clean, the shower was good, and the facilities were well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite limited, with no fruits or vegetables available. The spa was good, but it was very expensive—around $260 USD for a one-hour massage.

We had exceptional service. Caesar was amazing and went out of his way to make our dinners memorable. All the staff were attentive and nice. The resort was small and quiet, which we preferred for this trip. The room was cozy, clean and the perfect size for what we needed. We will definitely return to this resort.

Resort was awesome. Seaweed cleaned before most people wake up. Staff very attentive. Everything clean. Pretty fun entertainment in the evenings. Couple things i didn't like was the concierge people pushing the timeshare like presentation for their membership. The minibar with points to buy snacks, beer, and soda was pretty cool except you can't get liquor for your room. The pools are only 8-8. Other small issue is no seating in the smoking area. The resort was so nice despite the small issues noted, i would definitely recommend it.

Out of three restaurants one was closed each evening.
Not a lot of diverse food.
Same menu every single day. For instance there were three choices of meat on the menu but the veal meat was taken out without replacing it with anything.

The rooms are very clean. The staff on site are constantly cleaning the resort day and night. Very good breakfast. They have a nice buffet or you can have freshly made eggs cooked for you or an omelette and they always have some fresh fruit, mimosas and a bloody Mary Bar. We did go to the spa and get a nice massage. It was great.

We have been here several times over the last few years. The staff is always wonderful, friendly, and helpful. They keep the property meticulously maintained and the rooms are very clean. Rita’s is the best place to eat at the resort.

However, this time we noticed some small and minor changes that aren’t particularly guest friendly. The main BeachHouse dining area was closed twice during our 4 night stay, forcing everyone into 2 other smaller restaurants that have a more eclectic menu. Room service has become more limited based on the now limited open restaurants. The TVs were removed from the bar area. They also used to have a hawk and its handler come around every few days that would scare the other birds away; I mention this only because it needs to come back and help remove the unwanted birds and their crap off the pool decks.

This was our 2nd time staying here. We came back because of the small size and the staff. Best staff ever! Would especially like to recognize the staff at the beach house: Eduardo. Sebastian, Antonio, Emilio & Luis. They are exceptional! Paty made our eggs everyday with a smile on her face . The bartenders: Shirley, Jose Luis and Alberto & Cassandra were awesome . Tony. Itzel and Abigail on the entertainment team were great! We love the laidback quiet atmosphere here. The staff can’t do enough for you . Always happy and helpful . The entertainment was enjoyable and the food is great! They especially take a apecial interest in our 82 year Mom who came with us again this year! Go above and beyond to make sure she is well taken care of 😃 Some of the same staff were here from last year and they remembered our family . They are a special group of people for sure!

This was our second stay at this resort. The rooms, while smaller, are clean and well appointed. The grounds are well maintained, they are currently making some upgrades to the peeling paints but the pools could use some updates as well. My only negative would be that the liquor selection is a bit lower end than we are accustomed to, aside from Jack and Jim there aren't any whiskey or bourbon options and Absolut is the highest end vodka available. The entertainment is a bit lackluster as well, they used to have a live band nightly but they have moved to a DJ instead. The DJ usually just plays techno or dance music from a preset Playlist, unfortunately the sound system cannot handle this style of music. Overall, yes I would recommend staying here, and yes we will return as none of the negatives outweigh the positives.

We didn't use the spa, so can't speak on that. Everything else we experience was delightful. Our room and view was beautiful, we had the paradise chill out suite. It is a smaller resort, but that's exactly what we wanted. It was peaceful, yet lovely. There's so many activities set up throughout the day to keep guests entertained: painting, trivia, aqua Zumba, casino night, live bands, etc. Now these do change daily, so please check the app for the day's schedule. Food is good - not the greatest but above mid. The staff is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!! This is where the place truly shines.

I don't think the food was great and the property is kind of small but beautiful. I like that it had a lot of areas to just chill out and relax. I found myself in the lobby area on the bed swing the most. The people who work here made the most difference. They were amazing!

We were there for 10 days and had an excellent vacation. The staff were amazing everything was clean. The only down fall was the lack of places to eat at. They could definitely use one more restaurant. They have 2 restaurants and the buffet at night and the buffet and taco house in the day. There’s plenty of chairs around the 4 pools and at the beach. Overall very good!

The resort was beautiful. The staff were very friendly. The food was good. The 2 restaurants, Latino and Italian have small portions so don't be shy to order more than 1 entree. The entertainment was great all. They also have a desk to reserve excursions and they have us great suggestions and my family totally enjoyed them. My husband and I also went to the spa and each got massages and were enjoyable. The down fall which is not their fault is the seaweed. It was the season and it was all over the beach but they had it cleanup everyday. I would give it a 10/10

We came for a couples trip, just me and my girlfriend, and arrived to find the cutest little property. Fun colors and immediately good vibes from everyone there. While we were there we got to meet tons of friends and good people. The food was good, especially at the Latin restaurant and beach house. We also have some shout outs for some of the crew that made our trip so special. Ernesto who worked at the bars was great! He got us a welcome drink and immediately made a connection for the week. Antonio and Ester took care of us for breakfast lunch or dinner at the beach house and it was the best service. They made every meal there special for me and my partner and were attentive with drinks and food. The activities planned and executed at the resort were so much fun. We played lots of volleyball, movie trivia, and poker. I enjoyed the people who helped lead all of the resort activities SO much. Big shoutout to Betsy and Tonny for all of their hard work. Itzel was also great during activities. Very very good people. Aurelio was also a great server at the Latin place, remember our names and preferences. Overall 10/10 stay! I loved everything about this place and it was exactly what we were looking for.

Overall a solid place to stay the staff was amazing the food was pretty good considering it’s an all inclusive. I will say that the liquors are all same. They are refilling. Especially the vodka. They all have the same weird flavor. You need to tell the bartender you want the “real vodka” they will get it for you. The lounge chair saving with the towels is a bit ridiculous and they really should monitor that better. If don’t get up early and stake out a spot you won’t have a chair for the day utterly ridiculous!
I would stay here again for the right price

Mostly for retirement people, nothing for children, real quiet resort, needs more music had to walk to get drinks no pool service. Only breakfast buffet, two dinner restaurants Italian and Latin give them six out ten. Rita’s tacos lunch only was the best place to eat believe it was only from 12 to five. Overall it was a nice place for a place to get away from work. Good place to go meditate . Not worth what we paid!

This place is awesome!! The only downside is that you have to pay for the spa, and the souvenirs and merchants that come onto the resort are extremely overpriced. Also beware of excursions! We booked with the people on the resort, and as we were about to get on our bus to leave the resort, they told us it was cancelled and they will only issue 80% of your refund back to you.

Room was super clean and nice. Huge walk in shower and a bathtub!! All the pools were clean and nice! Only one true swim up bar and it was really nice!! The property was fantastic and all the food was delish!! Especially the Italian restaurant, only thing is not many food options however it is a small resort. Everything was amazing for us and the staff was fantastic. Also highly recommend their spa services although very pricey. Would 100% come here again!

We loved the property and our trip until we were told that we could use our Expedia resort credits to rent cabanas on the beach and when we went to check out was told we couldn’t and had to pay $300 for them. I even went back up about 30 mins later to double check after someone said we couldn’t and was again told we could. Also, was given a deal on an excursion to go on what was supposed to be a 90 minute presentation and visit to the other resort they own. Ended up being nearly 4 hours and only because we insisted we wanted to return. Very shady and not good business!

Overall, we really enjoyed the resort. Our chill out suite was beautiful and had everything we needed. The property is in great condition and felt like it was new. I guess we were lucky in our timing of when we went because the beach was clear and perfect. When there was some seaweed that washed up on shore, there were people constantly cleaning it. We only used the pool once for the aqua fit class. The water temperature seemed perfect. The hot tub wasn’t really hot so we would have liked it to be a little warmer and maybe one more hot tub rather than just one. It was more like a small warm pool. The service from the staff was great. Our only criticisms were that there was not a lot to do. It was perfect for a four day getaway, but we wouldn’t wanted to have been there any longer because we would find ourselves getting bored. They don’t have tons of activities to keep you busy throughout the day although we were happy with the few things we participated in such as guacamole making and aqua fit. We would’ve loved to have done the yoga, but it was a little too early for us in the morning. We wanted to sleep in. The food was good at the restaurants, but personally, I would’ve preferred one buffet open during the afternoon. Rather than having to sit formally and order and be served and then find out I didn’t love the food and had to wait for another order to arrive. I didn’t mind the restaurant for dinner though. The food was pretty good. I would definitely go back to this resort

The resort was wonderful, the staff was exemplary, from Emilio at the beach house, Betsy the activity coordinator, Miguel our concierge and Angel the valet who really helped us when our transport from MTS shuttle service (which we also booked through Expedia’s under their name speedy shuttle), failed to show up as they went to the incorrect resort and then refused to come get us. Angel immediately helped us and got us a taxi to the airport.
The rooms were spotlessly clean thanks to our housekeeper Olga, the food was excellent as were the drinks which use prime alcohol all the name brand you could think of were available. The beach was perfect cleaned and there were beach chair as well as pool chair available. Their coffee shop was wonderful with fresh coffee, and special coffees made daily and lovely muffins and pastries there were so many wonderful things about this resort. We loved it there and hope to return. We loved it was a smaller resort and the care of the staff made this holiday truly wonderful.

We enjoyed the warm welcome with Pina colada popsicles and fast check in. Very clean rooms and beach as sea weeds are removed daily by staff. We enjoyed the fun activities arranged by Itzel and Betzie, including Margarita rally, foam party, paddling board, and card games. Excellent food quality. Food was a la carta instead of buffet for lunch, which was great as it was served fresh, but anticipate a bit of wait at the international restaurant. It has 3bars so no need to wait for long to get a drink. Drink was sometimes a lot more juice than actual drink at the end of the day. I felt like the restaurant staff were overworked from early morning to midnight which was not fair to them

Bars had limited hours and closed earlier than advertised. No buffet everything was a sit down and was a big ordeal to eat an 1-1.5 every time you wanted to eat. I like my buffets where you can grab and go quick. Not every meal has to be sit down and if you didn’t like what was in the limited menu as options you were out of luck. Entertainment was very limited as well. It’s a place for seniors 75+ or people who go to bed with the chickens.

We stayed at the Cancun resort - the family site with the beach The Riviera Maya site is adults only with no beach (yet). I will repeat what others have said; the staff are phenomenal. Attentive to any request. Everyone is professional and works very hard. Service with a smile, and on two occasions I noticed they were utmost polite even when guests were being very rude to them.
Rooms, pools, and entire resort very clean. I especially took note of the team that gets up before dawn and works through to the sweltering midday heat to clear any seaweed that washes up on shore - back-breaking work.
The food is excellent. The produce and seafood is especially fresh. Of the four restaurants, Beach House is our favourite. Rita's Taco Lounge is a fun alternative for lunch, offering several unique margaritas. For dinner, if not Beach House, we preferred The Latino to Frank's Italian, but both are excellent. I had so many memorable meals, but in the end my favourite was the grilled octopus from The Latino. All the soups at all the restaurants were outstanding. After a week, we had a chance to explore much of the menus, but wish we had one or two more week to taste everything. That said, we left every meal uncomfortably full, having been allowed to order as much as we wanted. If I had asked the staff to roll me out of there, I'm sure they would have obliged.
We would 100% return here again, and we recommend this resort to anyone.

This resort had it all! This is one of the smaller resorts we’ve been to and I can’t say enough good things. First of all, the staff is amazing!! Everyone and I mean everyone smiles and greats you. They take the time to make sure that you have what you need and taken care of, room service especially. The bartenders are awesome (shout out Elbert) and pour great drinks. The check in was smooth, plenty of pools, and great activities. Will definitely come back!

The Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Cancún vibe is very relaxed and the place was spotless. Staff without exception were great starting with an \"ask\" on checking in that was accomodated followed by room service as were arrived later in the evening. The pool was a bit chilly as weather during our week was chilly too but we enjoyed each of the restaurants, the spa and used a bali bed on the beach for our last full day (really worth it if we join family/grandkids there next time!)

The staff was very nice and my room was clean. There were a lot of offers that turned out to be only if I became a member. I went for my 40th birthday and saw a voucher for $150 for a facial and massage and hydrotherapy but when I asked about it it was $350. Also they kept saying they would do something nice for my birthday like dinner on the beach or something but I had to buy it all. They did leave rose petals on my bed though and build a cake out of towels. That was pretty cool. Also, I went the one week it was very cold apparently.

Excellent stay. This is a smaller resort and a great place to chill out for a few days, perfect for those who would prefer to avoid the party atmosphere but still have a fun time. Food and service is top notch.

We had a great stay. This is a very small resort Staff are amazing. Rooms are clean. A little dated with paint covering up old walls I. Rooms and not done well for a 5 star resort. Restaurants are good. Breakfast was disappointing. Very little options Bread was always hard and no bagels in buffet. The sister hotel had a wonderful breakfast when we went to visit so that was not great for us. Beds were comfy Beach was not good. Lots of seaweed and the smell from the seaweed made it difficult to be on the beach. Pools were all cold which was also a disappointment since you could swim at the beach. 5 star for staff. 3.5-4 for food and facilities

We’ve traveled to Cancun for over a decade, and this was the worst place we’ve ever stayed. The staff is not friendly. There are very few events/activities. One night there was Bingo at the bar- not even enough cards for 12 players. The food is poor quality. The buffet restaurant was only for breakfast and wasn’t full of options. The taco house was good but closed at 5pm. There is no swimmable ocean. The Live bands and Spa were positive features. My crew is in our 50’s- not a wild bunch. We were not pleased and would never return. Not a lot of people we met were thrilled with this resort, so I have no clue how it has such high reviews.

Food not very good, bought 4 spa pacakages and they didn't deliver what was purchased. Smoke alarm malfunction during the middle of the night. Didnt activate our bracelts when we checked in so we couldn't use them in the store, beach covered in seaweed smells like sewage...

The room was amazing and the amenities are great. This resort definitely has more of a relaxing vibe than a very touristy/party vibe. A great variety of guests but maybe 60-70% were retirees. We went as a couple in late 20s and made plenty of friends around our age group. Not a whole lot of children even though this is a family friendly place. Would return if provided an excellent deal like we were. This resort stands out for having great value. We went on 2 excursions during our 6 days stay. My wife really enjoyed the atv/zipline/cenote. I'm an adrenaline junky so it was it was too relaxed for me. We went on the catamaran excursion to isle mujeres which was pretty disappointing. We speak spanish so didn't buy the overpriced golf cart on the boat. We got it for half price, but it's honestly not needed. It's nice to just walk around the local shops. The excursion is supposed to include snorkeling and swimming and we did neither since the captain said its too dangerous. We saw plenty of other boats stopping to swim and do what the guests paid for. We ended the trip with a couples back massage. I didn't like it. They provided me with no information about the massage or other things the spa has to offer. I wasn't given a chance to put my things away, so my phone and keys were jabbing me in my sides the whole time. They just kind of pushed you thru it. I wanted a full spa/relaxing experience but just left annoyed. You want to keep the person that pays for everything happy. ME!

Hotel setup is nice, not too large, and pleasant overall.
Beach is clean as well, but you can’t go in the water.
Rooms are very disappointing, aging, not well maintained, and cleaning service isn’t done even when the sign is on the door from morning to evening.
Food quality is really low, and not always fresh. Even with strong stomach…we got sick.
Staff is a hit or miss. Some can be pleasant, but staff at the reception don’t care about clients and only try to upgrade you…instead of looking for solutions. Some waiters are very rude and only looking for tips.
Not worth the money overall.

Room was spotless every day! Staff unbelievable! They worked so hard cleaning the seaweed from the beach every morning. Food was great, lots of choices…but their tacos were worth it alone. Only improvement that I can think of is to have heated pools/hot tub hotter. Five stars no question.

The staff were amazing. Rooms cleaned in a timely manner and very well done. Service everywhere was good.
The only thing was, many of us were under the impression we were at rhe adults only one by the advertising. We we all went there to be told otherwise. It was very confusing.
