Seaweed built an impressive wall on the unusable beach. Pools were good, food was cold and reused in the buffet, restaurants were ok, after dinner time the resort basically goes to bed. Ok experience for young kids but even they got bored after day 3. The biggest frustration was check in, a large group arrived just ahead of us, and the staff refused to let us jump the que to help our exhausted sick kid get into ac sooner than later. Some rules are worth bending.

If you are traveling with children, just ignore the bad reviews from people with high expectations.

We traveled to Sensira in February 2026 with 2 children. This resort is amazing for families, with many ammenities for children. They absolutely loved Amy, Josephine & Daniela at the kids club. The kids club had lots of fun activities for them, and the indoor playground part was a big hit. It was well air conditioned, so perfect for peak heat. The trampoline park was a big hit too, they even had 2 hours in the morning reserved for little kids.
We stayed in the Agatha 2 Queen room and had a view of the beach and lower pool. The room was lovely. QR code to see the schedule for weekly activities and restaurant menus. The TV had the ability to connect to your own streaming services, which was nice the few times we used it. The rain shower was nice and bottled water was provided daily for brushing teeth and drinking.
The restaurants were nice, but there is a system. Make your reservations the morning before at concierge, or line up around 5:20pm for the Italian/ Mexican. The adults only paris-themed restaurant had our favorite meals. It is only open on Saturdays so be sure to line up to make a reservation at concierge on Friday morning around 8am. Don't skip the buffet for breakfast and lunch, and order your seaside lunch from a pool lounger instead of lining up.
Yes, there will be lines, but you're on vacation - what's your rush? Order all the drinks you can carry at once.

If you’re looking for a Murphy’s Law vacation experience, this is the place for you. Sensira oversold the dates that we were there and had no operational strategy in place. 3,000+ guests and not nearly the staff to accommodate.
I booked a room with two beds; we were given a room with one bed and told there was nothing they could do. There were three of us.
2 hour waits for lunch, only one bar open during the day leading to 30+ minute wait for anything other than water, pool towel restrictions (a family of 3 but you couldn’t get more than 2 pool towels), incredibly slow dinner service (2+ hours for basic meals), none of the hospitality services advertised (no butler, concierge, generally anyone to handle questions), room service orders denied due to “too many requests”. This happened every night.
Dirty rooms, dirty bathrooms, generally dirty facilities, dirty restaurants; we saw a cockroach at breakfast and reported to a busboy who grabbed another busboy so that they could laugh together at the cockroach, then walked away. No one ever removed it from the restaurant.
All three of us have Celiac disease; there were no accommodations. Prior reviews highlight gluten free options at the buffet; there were none. I informed the concierge of our allergies ahead of arrival; no one ever responded. When I asked about gluten free options on our first day I was laughed at.
The overall sentiment of the staff, when you could find someone, was “not my problem”
Go literally anywhere else.

Bad: poor maintenance and upkeep. One day the resort decided to shut down a pool deck so that a conference group could have a private party. They then blasted karaoke in the main outdoor area directly beside our room until 10pm. Completely unacceptable and disrespectful at a family resort.

Check-in was very frustrating and took hours. There was no proper organization, and no one showed us the way to our room. After such a long wait, we were simply handed the keys without guidance — it felt chaotic and poorly managed.

The buffet situation was also unacceptable. There was only one buffet open, so we had to wait in long lines just to get in.

In addition, we constantly had to wait in line at the bars just to get drinks. It was clear that there was not enough staff to handle the number of guests. Service was very slow throughout the resort.

To make matters worse, two of our friends got food poisoning during our stay, which was very concerning and completely ruined their vacation.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and unfortunately, I would not recommend staying at this hotel at all.

All of it. Your hotel is not very accommodating to people with special requirements to survive like sensitivities to specific things like foods and scented toilet paper. You have unscented in public restrooms, but refused to help me out and as a courtesy gives me the unscented one hardly understood English when asking what someone’s allergic to brought me raw food multiple times that was unable to eat. Dessert was lacking, major sweetness it was very bland fruit and vegetables were almost un edible for me because they were either not cooked correctly or soaked in oil or fried. I was not told upon arrival not to use the sink water to brush my teeth very poor water pressure the incapability of leaving room service in the room when someone is not answering the door is ridiculous. The beach was covered in litter, which I found to be extremely disgusting so much plastic and very harmful for animals. I saw your staff begging people to give up their towels at the pool one of your staff made me buy something that was 10 bucks because it fell on the floor and broke, even though I was already purchasing the same item. I’ve never had someone do that to me. I just didn’t find your resort to be very helpful in any manner when trying to accommodate one of your guests I felt very uncomfortable my entire trip and then I come home to ending up having dysentery because of the water in your hotel because you did not inform us it was unsafe so overall, I did not enjoy my vacation at all.

I guess this might sound too good to be true, but my family and I had a wonderful time. We wouldn’t change a thing. My eight year old grandson said he would like the gift shop to be in the all inclusive! Ha ha. Other than that, he also would make no changes! Keep up the good work! 🙏☮️😎

This is definitely a family resort. Would not recommend for people wanting a quiet relaxing getaway. Food was very inconsistent. Breakfast 8/10, lunch 7/10 dinner 5/10. Ala carte restaurants were a pain to get into. Italian was good but very inconsistent food quality. Steak house was good but really hard to get a reservation. Mexican restaurant was not good at all.
They seemed understaffed everywhere and not prepared with people or food at anytime. Bar service was frustrating. Always major line ups. Once again not staffed. Swim up bar was never open.
Rooms were fine but inconsistent cleaning. Mini bar was only stocked 2 times in the seven days. Always had to go to the desk for water.
Would not be on our list to go back.

The property itself is truly five stars, but unfortunately some services fell short. The overall structure is very good, the location is nice, the space is beautiful, the rooms are well maintained, and suite housekeeping service was good.

However, regarding the overall services at the resort, we found the food options to be limited, especially at the main buffet, which is the only option for breakfast and lunch. There were few choices, and the food was consistently cold.

By far the biggest issue during our stay was the waiting times. We had to line up for almost everything at the resort. There were 40 minutes waiting time for both check in and check out, lines every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the entire week, and if you went to get beach towels after 9 am you had to wait 30 to 40 minutes as well. We constantly felt stressed instead of relaxed. In addition to the long waits, we often saw several tables available, but cleaning service was slow because the same staff responsible for cleaning tables were also serving guests, which created confusion and delays. On multiple occasions, we also witnessed staff being rude to guests. It was clear that everyone was stressed due to the overall disorganization and long waits, but instead of improving the situation, it often made the experience even more frustrating.

I rarely write reviews, but this stay left me feeling completely disappointed.
The hotel itself is beautiful — the property is well-designed, clean, and has all the potential to offer a great experience. Unfortunately, the management completely undermines what could have been a wonderful stay.
From the moment we arrived, it felt like the hotel was constantly running out of basic essentials. Towels? Frequently unavailable. Coffee? Often empty. The better food options at the buffet? Gone early and never replenished. Even simple things like coffee cup lids were consistently missing. For a hotel of this caliber, this is unacceptable.
The pool situation was equally frustrating. If you didn’t wake up early and claim a chair by placing a towel on it before breakfast, there was absolutely nowhere to sit. It created unnecessary stress and competition among guests instead of a relaxing atmosphere.
The food was another major letdown. While there appeared to be variety, most of it was bland and uninspired. Again, this feels like a management issue — cutting corners in ways that are very noticeable to guests.
I do want to acknowledge the staff. Every employee we interacted with was kind, polite, and doing their best. However, they are clearly overworked and stretched too thin. The problem is not the frontline staff — it’s the management and overall organization.
It’s incredibly frustrating because this hotel could be amazing. The facilities are there. The staff care. But poor management,

Our stay was very disappointing. The check-in process was slow and frustrating, and we were not guided to our room upon arrival.

Throughout the stay, we faced consistently long lines for food, drinks, and basic services, which significantly reduced the quality of our experience.

During our time at the hotel, both my spouse and I became ill and did not feel adequately supported by the staff. This further impacted our ability to enjoy the trip.

It’s a beautiful resort aesthetically. Beautiful beach. Staff friendly.. but it is strongly lacking in areas in which I wouldn’t have booked here had I known previous to going.
A) there is little to no entertainment for adults. There’s no pool games (even though they advertised daily that there would be).. wed show up to pool Zumba class to find out there wasn’t any. No rentals like paddle boarding, and to get a tennis racket to play tennis I had to chase someone down only to find out that there was no one to help me.
B) No drinks available until 10am, and beach bar closes at like 5-6 pm daily. So you have to go all the way into the lobby if you decide to have a few more cocktails after 6pm
C) not enough cabanas/not strict on people waking up at 4am and reserving them for the entire day to show up at noon..
D) there is NO SWIM UP BAR. Even though it shows pictures of one.. it is not functioning and hasn’t functioned in months/possibly years according to a staff member there. There is 1 beach bar for all 4 pools.
E) the “adults only” doesn’t even have their own bar, and doesn’t have any music so it’s very mundane and boring.

All in all. If you have kids, sure this could be a good resort. Lots of kid amenities. But I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone other than a family.

The resort was dirty - our room on arrival was dirty - still had items from the previous guest. We had to ask daily for something - to have our room cleaned, our mini bar filled, water in the room, towels in the room, robes and slippers etc. The food was ok - except for the Italian restaurant and steak restaurant. The beach is amazing. If you like to stand in lines for everything then this is the resort for you - we spent at least 20-25% of our time in lines - mostly to get food. Oh and having to get up at 430am just to reserve your beach chair or they are all hone. This resort has potential to be amazing but far from it currently. We goto the area every year and we will never go back to this resort.

My recent stay at this hotel in Cancun was very disappointing overall. The only positive aspect of the experience was that most of the employees were polite and friendly.

Unfortunately, the food situation was extremely poor. The buffet grill mainly offered only chicken and tilapia, and the rest of the food was often cold. Many serving trays and plates were usually empty and not refilled. During lunch, I was never able to get fries for my toddlers because they were always gone, and in the mornings there was no yogurt available. The same issue applied to the juices — once they ran out, they were simply not replenished.

The snack bar and drink service were also very frustrating. There are separate lines for snacks and drinks, both understaffed, and you can easily spend around 20 minutes waiting in each line. On top of that, there is a limit of three drinks per person. This makes no sense for families traveling with children — if you want drinks for everyone, another adult has to stand in line as well.

The daycare service was unreliable. I tried to drop off my daughter and was told they would open at 1 PM that day, even though the posted schedule says 11 AM. When I asked about the discrepancy, I was told the hours “depend on the hotel.” This makes it impossible to plan activities like a massage, since childcare may or may not be available. Additionally, one of the caregivers, Mari, spent most of her time on her phone and did not appear engaged with the children.

They downgraded my room without letting me know I had to tell them it wasn’t my room for them to tell me they had an occupancy issue and would move me to my correct room the next day and only offered hotel credit mind you I paid for all inclusive Amber room with a private hot tub they put me in an Agatha room the door would not shut and the sheets and comforters were very wet on the bed I tried to call for the front desk, operator, room service and housekeeping none of them answered at all and the tv in my room did not work the door is basically there for nothing because I can hear everything in the hallway even the wind blowing it’s ridiculous and the AC is practically broken it sounds terrible and the sheets at this hotel just feel damp in the bed like I hate it and wont ever in my life stay here again at night the power just completely cut off and it’s off and on continuously the tacos at the beach bar are soggy and nasty and the fries are salty as hell the food options are very little and the guy cooking had no gloves or anything so unsanitary they only seem to have pork beef and fish for lunch I wouldn’t book this hotel if you want a good all inclusive experience I called housekeeping for towels and I received nothing at all and breakfast wasn’t bad they had better options but I started feeling sick and lightheaded afterwards I asked for housekeeping for my laundry at the front desk and they told me to go to my room and they would get to me they never did

Very nice hotel and nice room. The pools and beach are great! Two very irritating things: you had to wake up at 6am to secure a long chair at the pool or the beach, and the best restaurant included in the package was always overbooked so we could not even try although we were there for 4 days... One positive point: bars are very quick to serve you.

The food and drink service everywhere was terrible. Not enough staff for amount of people. Line ups at every restaurant and bar. There was never a bartender at the swim up bar and long lines for pool bar and pool snack bar. Unless you go down to get a cabana by 5am you will never get one and not enough lounge chairs for amount of people at the hotel. Only 1 restaurant takes reservations and there is a line starting at 8am to make the reservation. Staff were not friendly and were annoyed if you asked for anything at all. We stayed in the Amber room which was beautiful. Overall the whole experience was such a disappointment. I would never stay here again

Sensira Resort was a fine choice for my wife and two younger kids. The pools were good, and the beach front was also good; although a little on the small side. Our room had the two queen beds and were clean. The drain backed up and caused a flood but the staff fixed the problem really fast. The food was good too and had zero complaints with the quality. Sometimes the selection of the food at the buffet was lacking, that’s just me being knit picky though. Overall we had a great stay.

Highly recommended for people with kids. Staff were AMAZING specially Hever, Francesco, Bartolo in the buffet they were not only amazing to me but took the time to be over and beyond for our 1 year old son. Also, Javier at the Italian restaurant went above and beyond for us and our son. Finally, Belmar at concierge who went far and above to make our trip special. I recommend you check in with him upon arrival especially with kids, he will set you week up.

The staff seemed understaffed for some of our trip, but the quality of people working there did not make you feel disappointed. Hotel rooms are above average in size and comfort, the property and hotel itself had super high end feel, while being geared towards families. Some line ups for food, but the quality of the food was great.

Most of our issues were with the dining service and the food. The menu was very limited, and it was more junk food than actual, proper meals. There were more dessert items than real food, and the options were repetitive every single day, The hotel was in a very remote location and not in the main area where the other all-inclusive hotels are situated. Great experience, that was our first trip with our 6 months old and we had a great time, we received a crib and baby bath tub which made bathing our baby so much easier. The resort is children friendly it had a lot of activities for kids and felt safe and relaxing. Initially we booked an ocean view room but received a different one. The customer service manager Ivania was quick to respond to our concern she was so helpful and pleasant and did a great job finding us an ocean view room which was fantastic. The staff were super friendly starting from the bellman to waiters to service workers to concierge every one was great. The food was extremely delicious they served a lot of varieties that met our need of healthy food and exceeded our expectations, except for the Italian restaurant for which the food was 3 stars in my opinion but staff was great. The level of cleanliness was great everything was super clean and organized. The only thing we didn’t like is having to wake up very early to reserve benches by the pool otherwise you won’t find a seat by 7:30 am.

Alex the butler and Brandon in the Amber lounge were above and beyond excellent! They are the only highlights at this resort. The view from the Ruby Suite is amazing. The resort caters to young families whose parents do little to nothing to see that their children behave at dinner. By the way, the restaurants are too small and understaffed. The food does not reflect 5 star resort. Often your food arrives at your table cold. Room service food is much better than the restaurants which is unusual. The adult pool is not supervised. Kids show up constantly. Some parents we’re using the pool to clean off the sand from their kids feet. The shower by the beach doesn’t work. Most 4 and 5 star resorts have their beach sectioned off, one side for higher end clients who have rented the expensive rooms. We travel to the Cancun area quite often, in fact we vacationed there 4 times last year and this resort is a huge disappointment. You really need better management and more attention to your restaurants in both service and taste if you want to market yourself as a 4 or 5 Star resort. Maybe more Alexes and Brandon’s. They understand how to treat customers and provide quality customer service. If it wasn’t for them we probably would’ve moved to another resort. Kudos to Alex and Brandon!!!

The resort may have been better for families with younger children. It was usually a little loud with all the kids, the staff was good, but the resort seemed understaffed. We got a room with two queen beds. It was an open floor plan with the shower and vanity open to the bedroom so not a lot of privacy. They had 4 restaurants and one buffet. 2 restaurants required reservations. On Valentines Day we had reservations at the Italian restaurant and were provided a special menu. That was really well thought out and a fantastic meal. The other 6 days were good but nothing overwhelming. The beach was fine but a bit of seaweed that they did their best to clean up every day. The pools were good but it was annoying that people would ‘save’ their lounge chairs by waking up early to put towels on them. The chairs were empty half the day but they were ‘saved’. All in all in was a good stay but we likely wouldn’t stay there again. It just wasn’t the right fit for us.

I rarely write negative reviews, but this is a warning for families: this hotel is not kid-friendly and is very poorly managed.

We stayed as a family of six—two adults and four children under nine, including five-year-old twins. We booked two adjoining rooms well in advance and were instead placed on opposite sides of the hotel. It took two days of repeated requests to be moved closer together.

Our final night was a disaster. A wedding with extremely loud music was held directly across from our rooms. The hotel refused to intervene or offer any solution. Our young children were exhausted and cried themselves to sleep. The only response we received was, “It will stop by 11 PM.” No apology. No alternative rooms. We were told the hotel was “full,” which reflects terrible planning and management.

We ended up sitting in the lobby late at night with our children, waiting for the noise to end. The attached photo shows my son while we waited. That should never happen on a family vacation.

The hotel also appeared severely understaffed, with slow, inattentive service throughout our stay.

Adding to the frustration, Expedia offered no meaningful support when we raised these issues. We will not be using Expedia again for future travel.

I would not recommend this hotel to families—or anyone expecting basic organization or care.

Stop allowing people to capture beach chairs for all day, people are going at six am in morning to put something on chairs at multiple locations and just keep those spots for themselves even though not using most of the times…

The room was good and regularly cleaned. I had booked a ocean view room however the room provided had the ocean view blocked by trees. Also the room's washroom could use some maintenance. The staff were great. The food options are a little limited for vegetarian during lunch and dinner.

This was a lovely resort with lots of kid-friendly amenities. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming and the drinks were delicious. My only criticism (which wouldn’t have mattered as much if it wasn’t unseasonably cold during our visit) was the limited availability of towels after swimming.

The rooms were clean , the invarment clean , staff was friendly and polite helpful as well , the only thing that gets this place a 3 star is that they had a a buy out from juish cominity when we arrived on sunday following on monday , so for 2 days i a row we had 1 food option to expirance wich is not what we paid a lot of money for , the other thing is they had an italian restourant at permises opended for dinner from twesday throw the rest of the days we stayed and the food was garbage , they had a steak hous witch was the onley good place to eat

Horrible experience. We were not advised in advance about the restaurant closure due to a large group booking. As a result, we were limited to only one restaurant with very few menu options for the entire stay, which was extremely inconvenient. We also requested housekeeping and extra towels due to a leak in the bathroom. Unfortunately, we had to call and follow up multiple times before anything was done, which was very disappointing. Most concerning of all, because of the bathroom leak, I slipped and fell. This is a serious safety issue and should never happen to guests. Overall, the customer service was awful and the situation reflects poor management. I would not recommend this hotel.

Just finished a stay at Sensira Resort (Jan 14–23, 2026) and it was a huge disappointment.
We came as a family of eight to celebrate my sister’s 70th birthday — planned six months ahead — and the resort completely failed us.

Starting Jan 22, they suddenly closed the buffet, snack bar, tea house, steak house, Mexican restaurant, AND the French restaurant was already closed since we arrived. Only one restaurant left for everyone. Then on Jan 23, one of the pools was closed too.

No warning. No communication. Not five‑star service by any stretch.

Our celebration was ruined, and we’ve requested a refund because we won’t be returning but have yet to hear from them.

It's a good resort overall, mainly for families.
Advantages: the staff is the best, good and spacious rooms, good recreation and entertainment (though there isn't a show every night). Great pools. Buffet restaurant serving all three meals, good food selection. Three restaurants open in the evenings, although not every evening.
Disadvantages: the beach isn't great, it's small and has little sand. The access road to the hotel is narrow.
Rating: The main reason for the 3-star rating is the lack of services on the last day of our stay. It wasn't clear why, as the reception told us the buffet restaurant was under maintenance, while other service points told us the entire hotel had been booked by a Jewish community. The truth is that all the restaurants and snack services were out of service, and a very large group of Jewish people did arrive. The only food available during the last day of our stay (January 22, 2026) was a very poor and limited buffet, improvised in what had been the Italian restaurant. It's not fair that the other guests were limited in their access to various hotel services for whatever reason.

I stayed here with my wife and our two kids (5 years old and 1 year old). Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly, but we were not given proper information about the resort, restaurants, or how reservations work.

We were told the steakhouse required reservations, but we were never informed that reservations could be made a day in advance. By the time we tried to book (even at 9 a.m.), we were told it was fully booked until the next day and then we were told it would be closing starting the following day. We were also not informed that most of the restaurants would be closing after just a few days of our stay, which felt like a cost-saving decision by management.

The Mexican restaurant was only open for three days and then closed. The buffet was disappointing — very limited variety and the same menu every single day. There were very few vegetarian options. Even basic Mexican food was not good. At the snack bars, tortilla chips were available but not fresh or crunchy, and guacamole always ran out with no refill. On top of that, there were flies around the food, which was very unpleasant and concerning.

When we approached management about vegetarian options, they did offer that the chef could prepare vegetarian food of our choice, which was nice and appreciated. However, this was only offered after we complained, and not communicated proactively.

There was only one staff member at the front desk, which resulted in extremely long wait times for both check-in and check-out. The shower drain had an unpleasant sewage smell.

Although the staff asked politely if we needed anything, there was no follow-up action after we responded. From the third day of breakfast, olive oil was no longer available. When I asked for it, I was told that olive oil was not part of the breakfast offering, which was surprising since several types of olive oil had been available during the previous two days.

During dinner, my plates were cleared without notice even though I had not finished eating.

The ocean color was beautiful and the atmosphere was nice, but overall, the service lacked attention to detail.

This hotel was a complete disappointment from start to finish. Everything felt neglected, disorganized, and poorly managed. There was zero communication between staff, and even worse, no honest communication with guests. Every day felt like we were finding things out after the fact—if at all.

The biggest issue was a large private party that arrived and completely took over the resort. Restaurants, buffets, and even bar access were shut down or blocked off without warning. We were left scrambling to figure out where to eat and drink, and at times had to leave the resort just to get food. That is unacceptable for a place that markets itself as an all-inclusive vacation destination.

What’s the point of a vacation if you can’t relax, can’t eat, and are constantly worried about basic amenities being unavailable? Guests who paid full price were clearly not a priority. The lack of transparency and consideration was frustrating and infuriating.

This was not a relaxing getaway—it was stressful, inconvenient, and misleading. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and regret choosing to stay here.

This resort seems to be the location of an annual holidays hosted by KMR for a specific group which books out the entire resort. Unfortunately, our stay overlapped with the beginning of this. The resort starts shutting down amenities a week ahead,namely à la carte restaurants. As guests start checking out and no new guests check in to make space for the group vacation attendees, there is a marked change. The staff seem miserable a few days before. Guests are corralled into a small dining area and served a very limited menu. Entertainment starts falling off. We considered leaving early.
On top of all that concierge wouldn’t give us a clear answer. We asked when the French restaurant would open and was told it’s closed for the next few days and to check again. We tried booking the steakhouse and was told it was closed but they couldn’t tell us when it would reopen and to check again. The resort knew full well the restaurants would not be open.
On the day of our departure, which coincided with the start of the official start of the kosher vacation, elevators started being taken out of service, music isn’t Latin anymore and was changed. Breakfast and lunch were significantly reduced menus.
I paid to use the amenities was provided a significantly reduced experience.
This is a one and done for us and will not return. Advice to any potential guest, research when the KMR vacations are and avoid this resort leading up to it.

We just stayed at Sensira for 7 nights. Our party consisted of 5 adults and 4 young children. The kids certainly had a lot to do! They bounced on the trampolines daily, watched a couple movies in the theatre, went down the waterslides, rode the mechanical bull, played in the sand on the beach, spent time in the two kids clubs, played mini golf, enjoyed their \"special kids drinks\" etc.! Our kids were all too short for the zip line, but we saw many kids go on it every day.
The rooms were excellent. Spacious and kept clean daily.
We had a beautiful view from our balcony of half resort and half ocean.
Also, we had three rooms booked for our party and upon booking we asked to be close together. The resort fulfilled that request which was appreciated.
The nightly shows at the resort are at 9pm. We didn't bother adjusting our kids to the new time zone and it worked out well so that they could see all the shows. The nightly shows are FANTASTIC!
Shout out to Sammy who was our favourite Zumba instructor, and to Samantha who works in many different departments at the resort! She is a lovely girl who we saw running the mechanical bull, MC'ing the nightly shows, organizing poolside activities, etc.
Food was great overall. The Mexican restaurant was pretty terrible though - ironically.
Would recommend this resort to families with young children.

Our room was very nice, clean and staff was very nice. However, we were under the impression from the advertising that there was an adult inclusive area at this hotel. The adult only restaurant was closed for the entire two weeks that we stayed here. This hotel caters to families, which is lovely but it is not the place to stay if you are looking for a quiet place.

This is great resort and if you plan to go there, plan to arrive by afternoon!

The Manager and Front desk was Everything! My room was verry good. The bellman and pool restaurant staff (guy with glasses)with the exception of 1 guy were colorist. The spa manager, I had to got the hotel manager to correct her. She tried to make me pay for my services instead of charging the services to my room, i was singled out. The bellman left me standing in mid conversation to assist another guest and when i went to ask another bellman he did the same thing and i had to address them both. They apologized but the damage was done. I left with $200 in tip money i specifically took due to lack of service. I've never experienced such behavior and will not be returning or recommending this resort. The buffet food, room services was terrible, i was sick and couldnt leave the room for an entire day. The steak house was excellent and its service.

come alone to a few different adult only resorts were trying to temper our expectations, as we knew it would be a different experience.

PROS:
Rooms - big and clean, a few scratches and dents here and there but nothing out of the ordinary, daily housekeeping was outstanding as well.

Shows - Some of the shows were a bit cheesy, but amazing acrobatics and magicians blew us away during a few of the nights.

CONS:

Check In - Very slow process, takes about 15 minutes per guest and never have more than 2 people at the desk.

Staff Level - The resort seemed to me to be EXTREMELY short staffed the entire time. Waiters took forever or were non-existent. Any of the event staff we had were absolutely outstanding though. Added shout-out to Diego, Angie and Alex, they were absolutely phenomenal and made us feel very welcome.

Food - The food was underwhelming to say the least. The buffet was just okay, and I watched staff throw food that spilled off in front back into the trays. The restaurants were also just alright, but twice we got a dessert that was somehow SOPPING WET? Also, its nearly impossible to order food at Las Brisas, and in the 6 days we were there, I didn't see a single staff member at the Kiosk, just a few tortilla chips and cheese dip. The restaurants constantly ran out of basic things like ketchup and ice cream, two things I would think would be a necessity at a kid friendly resort.

The stay was ok but not great. There seemed to be some staffing issues because I waited 45 minutes to check in. They didn't even apologize for the wait. Also, I ordered a drink at the main bar, right off the menu and they said they couldn't make it due to not having a blender. Additionally, they shut down the food service one night without telling anyone, making it so we had to wait a long time to order something. The food was ok but nothing spectacular. One other thing was, I went to the steak house and order the fillet, only to find out that it was out of stock. I know I sound pretentious but when pay so much to have a stay at a nice resort, you normally have high expectations. Everything wasn't all bad, they had a zip line for the kids and the show was pretty good. Overall disappointed in my experience.

The staff were nice. Food options were limited. They kept the same menu for 7 days. The steak house and Italian restaurant were good. The resort was very clean. Terrible beach though. It has seaweed problem. We couldn't use the beach at all. The location is not convenient and roads around it are very bad with huge potholes. Nothing compared to Cancun. The swimming pools were not heated. This resort is ideal for kids. They have a water park, adventure club and lots of activities for kids. 5/5 for that. Kids wont get bored at all. Overall, I would not go back.

Views are great from all rooms.
Staff was friendly and helpful but they lacked numbers. More staff needed in general.
Amenities were good. Mini putt & kids club was great. Swim up bar was closed all week which was a downer.
The beach is muddy and not really swimmable.
Sad for the kids.
There were a few misses, and you had to go through the manager of the concierge if you needed something done.

The resort is more of a hotel vibe than an actual resort. It’s quite small and the hotel grounds and rooms itself were well maintained and clean. The staff were great but what made the experience mediocre was the service experience. There seems to be a line for everything at the hotel. A small line up for things is to be expected but this was beyond that, for example, to get food at the beachside grill took on average 40 mins. They made the mains all made to order vs having some of the food out like buffet style. To even get basic things such as fries and burgers took 40 mins. They kept guacamole beyond the counter, so while the chips were out, you had to wait to get the guacamole. Same applied to the buffet, there’s a line for everything because they had 1 person cooking and this poor staff is working as fast as they can, but it’s impossible to keep up with the demand. Something also strange is that there’s never any bacon out in the buffet, you had to lineup at the omelette station to ask for it. Same goes for the bar, it’s understaffed

Also, there’s constant lack of beach towels, they would run out of towels mid day at the towel shack and you would have to wait an hr or more for a change of towel. For some reason when you place towels in the floor in your room for switching, they do not replace it with clean towels. It’s like there’s a scarcity in towels, we had to call multiple times because we did not have bath towels. And it would require several calls

I think overall this is.a great hotel for a relaxed vacation, especially in the winter months. It is located on a private beach, with a lot of good amenities. We enjoyed the pools, water slides, tennis court, and mini-golf, We really liked the food and drinks of all the restaurants. I think the servers in the restaurants, at various amenities, and for cleaning the rooms are all very nice and hard working. I appreciated their service and friendliness.

Shower room was not sealed well and it kept flooding 30%of our room. I talked to two other family and they complained the same problem which means this could be happening to a lot of rooms.

The entrance is stunning, the lobby and view from the lobby are absolutely beautiful. Christmas eve was fantastic, the food at the steak house was incredible, the buffet was good though lacking the variety most expect to see at an all inclusive. It felt like it was all down hill from that point forward. The beach was absolutely disgusting from our first day to the day before we left it wasn't taken care of AT ALL. No clean up of seaweed, sludge, logs or trash and the result was a beach area we found unusable and a stench that was not only overwhelming at the beach but permeates up into the kids club area and was mildly nauseating. Despite the smell, which I could barely handle, my son absolutely loved the kids club and the wonderful ladies there, they were truly a highlight of the resort.
From Christmas forward the food at the buffet got progressively worse, with everything being either lukewarm, cold or in a few instances completely under cooked, to the point where I got a half frozen scallop right off the grill and had to ask them to please continue cooking it. When I asked the gentleman to do so he seemed rather irritated at the request. The snack bar food was all cold unless you got to it the moment it was put out but the made t
