We absolutely loved the stay. This was my second time to Hilton Cancun and every time has been phenomenal. The staff is exceptionally warm and very accommodating. From the bellman Noe who made us feel like celebrities to the concierge Cecilia who made us feel like the only guests and even accommodated us with an early available room. Rocio gave an amazing welcome drink and Noe showed us to our room and took time to show us all of the amenities. We had a lovely dinner at La Luce with the most beautiful ambiance. We were blown away by the breakfast buffet options at Vela and although we didn’t make reservations in time the Steakhouse with water view was stunning and romantic. We loved the service at the poolside and enjoyed tacos for lunch with fun servers. Check out was a breeze and I wish we could’ve stayed longer. I will be back!!

Overall a good stay. Limited things to do. At night, all there is for everyone is to congregate in the main lobby. If there was live music throughout the day that would make it work. We found ourselves bored every night except for the Michael Jackson show. Every time we wanted to eat, nothing was ever open. Even though the hilton site says there is always food, your limited to pre made wrapped sandwiches that have been sitting for a time or doughnuts that have been sitting all day. Food was ok. I was expecting better. Sunan restaurant was a disappointment. All other restaurants were good. Staff were all amazing, helpful and friendly. Even though it's all inclusive it's designed for you to be served for everything and in turn, feel the need to tip, even though staff never made any face nor expectation of receiving a tip. Great for families with small children. Boring for teens. Great for couples that want quiet and alone time mainly in the room. Boom boom pow.

The pool was spotless, which was a huge plus. The kids’ pool floor could use a bit of TLC, but overall, it’s a fantastic place for kids to play. My kids absolutely loved it! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, creating a relaxing atmosphere that we were looking for.

Ok so to explain the 1 star. The line staff are extremely good and courteous to the guests. No complaints there, the food at the various restaurants was good as well no complaints either. First off you are 18 kilometers from ANYWHERE out in the middle of a preserve of some type. It is an additional 5 km from main hwy into the front door on a private drive that has no less than 18 goddamn speedbumps that make you feel like you have to apologize to all the other guests from other hotels sharing the van. Here is the main issue though… THERE IS NO BEACH!!! Zero! Zip! Nada! Talking to one of the long term employees there has been no beach for at least 5 months and even problems before that. The fraud is that the pictures of the resort in which you will make your choices from show a huge expanse of beautiful beach all along the front of the resort. The purpose of the getaway was to celebrate our birthdays as well as a thank you to her for taking care of me while I was extremely sick. We have a pool, a boat, a lake at home but we spent 5k to sit on a BEACH! I was not the only dissatisfied guest and there needs to be better truth in advertising. The pictures are all we have to go by. Am pissed and won’t be coming back

My first room was dirty with empty cans and leftover food. Paid more to get another room and it didn’t had hot water or a trash can. Most of the employees were kind of rude. One of the pools was closed for an entire day. On Saturday there was not even music at the only working pool. There were no activities during the day and no entertainment at the pool on the entire weekend.

Thank you Hilton All Inclusive Resort Cancun for pampering us for four days! Your property is stunning. Thank you to Jesus at check in for convincing us to upgrade to the ocean view room, what a view! Also for sending my niece a graduation gift. She loved the personalized card with hand written note and drawings! To the pool waiter Ivan who remembered my nieces name and made us laugh. To all the waiters thank you as well everyone was so kind and friendly. My only suggestion would be to maybe add a QR code to tip the staff to make it more seamless! 😉

I had my booking done long time back ! When I reached to security gates of Hilton Cancun . They told me they can’t find my booking ! Wow amazing ! I was flying from North Carolina USA to Cancun to hear that they can’t find my booking which was there as they realised it later with a silly excuse of system not working ! Okay never mind . I meet David front office supervisor as he promise that he will compensate with somthing like spa for my spouse! Guess what he never show up ! So going to Hilton was a nightmare! No booking found been in the MTS bus for 2 hours ! And when they found the booking they just said sorry !

This hotel is very kid-friendly, and the staff was excellent throughout our stay. One of the biggest highlights was the food variety—there were plenty of options for everyone. I also really appreciated the water stations located around the property, which made it easy to stay hydrated.

The kids club was a great feature and kept the kids entertained. The only downside was the beach. It’s there, but not ideal if you’re looking for waves.

That said, I have to give the hotel credit. During the week we visited, there was a massive seaweed issue that affected the whole area all the way to Playa del Carmen. The first day was rough, but the hotel worked hard to manage it—they were constantly cleaning and even used a tractor to clear the beach. After that, conditions improved significantly. They also had a barrier in place, which seemed more proactive compared to other nearby hotels.

Stayed 5 nights with my wife and 6-month-old.

This is a VERY family-oriented resort. If you're not travelling with kids, it likely isn't the right fit.

Beach is minimal. Pools are meh, and the tiling is in rough condition. Plenty of chairs, but only because we were there during shoulder season.

Food was the highlight and the main reason we booked. It met expectations... consistently fresh, well-prepared, and strong vegetarian options/menus across all restaurants. Good non-alcoholic selection as well (e.g., Heineken 0.0).

Service/operations had several issues:

1. Bags took 30+ minutes; had to retrieve them ourselves
2. Crib requested in advance wasn't in the room; required multiple follow-ups
3. Names were incorrect on keys/bracelets
4. Repeated requests to remove alcohol from the room were ignored
5. Water main break on night 3: no water ~8 hours, no hot water ~36 hours

Spoke with concierge after the water issue... acknowledged the situation and took our phone number, but zero follow-up.

Overall: strong food, inconsistent execution. Expected more reliability from a branded resort.

Beautiful rooms (had suite 1016 with swim up pool).
Food was delicious (visited almost all that was available).
The cafe was a great hit!
The North pools had a septic smell in the air most of the time.
The ocean was totally swimmable but you couldn’t chill out on the sand because the water nearly comes up to the rock wall.
The shopping vendors that the hotel hosted some days were VERY pushy.
Overall, I would come back:)

We had an amazing time during our recent stay at Hilton Cancun, an All-Inclusive Resort. The overall quality of the hotel was phenomenal—everything from the food to the design and the daily activities was truly top-notch. It absolutely deserves a 5-star review.

While the beach area is somewhat limited, we were already aware of that before arriving, and it did not take away from our experience at all.

If I had to offer one small suggestion, it would be to improve the upkeep and preventive maintenance of the pool tiles.

Overall, we would definitely recommend this resort to others and are already looking forward to returning in the future.

The resort was very clean and inviting. The pool was great! The poolside cabanas were an additional fee, but it was worth the extra cost. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There were no hidden fees. There was not much beach to spend time on but you could still go in the water.

Our stay at this resort was very disappointing. The beach was covered in seaweed the entire time, and they did not even attempt to clean it. Because of this, we were forced to use the pool every day instead of enjoying the ocean, which defeated the purpose of booking a beachfront resort.

Transportation was also frustrating. The taxi to the airport cost $125 plus tip for only a 20-minute drive. The resort does not allow Uber or Lyft on the property since the gates are locked, so guests are forced to use their expensive transportation.

On the fifth day, our entire family got sick with what seemed like stomach flu or food poisoning. We were all throwing up, which ruined the rest of our vacation. We also saw a bartender putting ice into a cup with his bare hands, which raised concerns about hygiene and food safety.

I’ve been to Mexico five times and stayed at five different resorts, and this was by far the worst experience. I recommend staying closer to the hotel zone, where you have more control over taxis and activity prices. For example, Jet Ski rental here was $150 per hour.

I would not recommend this resort.

Kiddy pool was too rough for a toddler. The water smelled bad. Infinity pool was good. More servers would be better. Italian restaurant was not great (La Luce), Mexican place (Maxal) was awesome, great service from Antonio, Steak house (Auma) was great. The location is well outside of the normal hotel area. Be warned, there is literally no beach. Its about 10 feet and while we were there it was red tide the entire time. We couldnt even go in. The kids events were really fun, Glow Party, Silent Disco, the variety show, but the \"kids corner\" where i thoght we could play with the kids is just a babysitting place. You cant use the space unless you are within the time range of your kids. There isnt too much to do other than the pool and eat during the day.

Overall, it was good for my 2 year old daughter, but left me wanting more. Food was solid, drinks were good, but i was expecting more entertainment and more things to do. Events are later at night always.

Para empezar la playa estaba llena de sargazo. El hotel se vio que no le pone empeño para tener limpia la playa. Si buscas un lugar para estar relax y poderte meter a la playa les recomiendo que se vayan a la zona hotelera. Alli estan las playas mucho mas limpias, y estan cerca de cualquier acrividad.
Aparte, solo hay 2 albercas y no tiene la barra adentro en las albercas. Para pedir unbtrago tienes que salir de la alberca, aunque la barra esta alli es un inconveniente.
El bufet, la comida no me encanto. Esta muy chico y la variedad de comida es muy reducida. Podrían mejorarla muchisimo
Otra cosa es que no hay muchas actividades o Show. Por otro lado, las personas que trabajan alli...
Todos son muy amigables y te hacen sentir bienvenido y los cuartos estan muy limpios.

The Hilton Cancun was a beautiful hotel with great pools (including a waterslide/splash pad pool for kids), comfortable beds, and excellent entertainment.

Things I loved: the decor, the North Pool (an infinity pool overlooking the Gulf of Mexico), the entertainment staff (especially the multiple, kid-friendly parties we attended), the gym, the housekeeping.

Things that could be better: the food was mostly ok (the major hits were the Italian restaurant, the steakhouse, the donuts and the iced coffee; the rest was so-so), the service was hit or miss (some staff were amazing, while others needed multiple reminders).

I loved this property, here are my pros and cons. The main con was that I’m use to adults only resorts and this one was filled with families and lots of children. The resort had 2 pools, the main one had most the activities and more lively. That was also because that’s where the kids splash pad was. Unfortunately the main pool was filled with snacks from the children eating. The second pool was called the chill pool and it was quiet with minimal kids (be sure to bring a speaker if you would like some entertainment on that side. The property itself was very clean and well kept!! I would recommend it to my friends with kids and family members. I really enjoyed the added hookah at a premium and Hilton coconuts pool side (paid extra for them). We updated our room to the ocean view king size

BEWARE- half of family of 13 got food poisoning at this Hilton. We have traveled to many all inclusives in Mexico and experienced this. The management said they’d look into it but filed no report and just ignored our situation. All ages throwing up and having to stay in bed for 24 hours. Otherwise, the hotel was lovely and staff friendly. P.S. my wife’s a nurse and helped a stranger in the hallway who also has a sudden onset of vomiting, so we were not the only guests ill.

Very bad experience at this hotel. I was honestly ready to leave after the first night.

The front desk was not helpful at all and didn’t try to solve anything. Worst customer service I’ve experienced ! it didn’t feel like a Hilton-level hotel at all.

The pool area was also disappointing. Umbrellas couldn’t be opened, so there was no shade, and the water was very cold.

Overall, a really poor stay. I would not recommend this place. Never.

Our family came for 7 days during spring break in march 2026. We enjoyed our time. Let me break down our thoughts:

The cons: the pool was cold. The main pool needs to be heated another 10 degrees F. I booked the property because of the wonderful kids pool area. The kids pool was even 10 degrees F colder than the main pool. My 5 yo son wouldn’t swim in it. Not sure if it was just the time of year, but the hotel needs to heat the pools for the march time of year. Everyone i met commented on how cold the pools were. Next, unfortunately since we went during spring break people went out to reserve pool chairs between 6-7am! If you hadn’t gone to reserve a chair by 8, you didn’t have one for the day. The restaurants require that you book in advance. They are available to book 7am for up to 3 days. If you don’t make reservations timely, you won’t have reservations—that said, the restaurants were willing to accommodate us. If you care about the kids center- we were told they accommodate 26 kids—parents started getting in line 30 min before drop of time to ensure their kids were able to attend. I didn’t have this happen at other hiltons we’ve visited and think it’s because the kids center here is smaller (though the staff is wonderful).

The pros: the staff was AMAZING!! They went above and beyond. We always had wonderful service in restaurants and at the bars. The food was also really good. My son really enjoyed the kids club.

The hotel is pretty huge and the food is good. However, there are many problems. For example, nobody clean the inside of lifts; the screens of lifts are all black, which makes you confused which floor you are landing; waiters were expecting your tips, if no, they would not treat you well; there is no soap tray in my room; one day my roof was leaking seriously, I went to the front desk and asked for the solution. Nobody even cared about the slippery safety issue because nobody even went to my room to have a look. Quite bad experiences in many ways.

First of all, I would have to say that the beach is scarce to non-existent. Very small beach area with eroding boundaries, lots of seaweed and very dirty water. Not very welcoming for “beach resort”. Could not lay in the beach or go in the water. Food was subpar for a Hilton resort and the coffee was watered down and terrible. Food labeled as “Gluten Free” was found not to be when staff was asked. Lobby area was small, congested, and very noisy at night. Would never go here again and Hilton should be ashamed.

Stayed 4 night, and only got room cleaning on the first night, and have to request multiple times for the rest of the stay and in total got 1 room cleaning for the rest 3 nights.
Breakfast apparently serves left over food from last night dinner, and some lunch is from the same day breakfast, ...
Restaruant Sunan is not good with the Mexican twisted Asian food.

Other than this, still a good option.

The food was amazing for an all-inclusive war. They did provide additional of charges for more upscale food, such as type of steak wine, and some drinks, a.k.a. Red Bull which wasn’t a problem .I wish there was a slide for our older kids however, great area for younger kids, though. Overall, the state couldn’t have gotten better minus weather, which is obviously out of their control. Would highly recommend other staying here. The feedback I would give was a better system for people reservations as that was problematic every night for some.
I of course, worked something out with concierge. I was able to get in a time needed so I would encourage those to also speak with concierge and plead your case as they were accommodating.

Overall, we had a beautiful trip and would highly recommend staying here, especially if you have young kids. They have a great kids club and play area with slide.

One last thing when I went, the water was extremely brown filled with a seaweed, so it was virtually impossible to go swimming in the ocean, which was such a bummer

I have mixed feelings about my stay at this Hilton. While there were definitely some positive aspects, there are also areas that could be improved.

The bell staff and the team assisting on the beach were consistently kind, attentive, and helpful, which I truly appreciated. However, the front desk experience felt less warm and could benefit from a more welcoming approach.

The beach itself was not as nice as expected, and the number of amenities felt somewhat limited considering the number of guests at the resort. At times, it felt a bit crowded.

As for the dining experience, the buffet offered a decent variety, but it lacked a “wow” factor and didn’t stand out compared to other resorts.

Overall, it was a good stay, but with a few improvement, particularly in service consistency and amenities, it could be a much better experience.

The property was nice, beach was a toiket as they were slow to clean the sargassam. The staff and hotel policy was a nightmare. Fyi If you have a Late flight, YOU CANNOT USE THE PROPERTY FOR FREE (t³n dollars PER HOUR PER GUEST). lots of lies, lots of fake smiles
