We had a garden view and the ocean was still visible. The ocean was not very pretty this time of year (lots of seaweed in March) but the pools make up for it ! Poolside service was just okay but Dario at the Gondola restaurant made every breakfast special for my family of 12!! The housekeeping staff is friendly and so are the room service staff! We loved being able to schedule milk to be delivered to the room in the mornings for our baby. Overall we loved the resort and would definitely return! Momo (hibachi and regular side) are amazing for dinners!

Consistently bothered to upgrade with inconsistent prices. Everyone we worked with from the lobby to the staff was confused and took an absurd amount of time to get help. Many places were closed with no notice when up and running. Beach was horrific. Paid 150 a night to upgrade ocean view and it was a partial view and covered by trees. Wedding held right out our room was going until midnight

We went with our teenage daughters to Moon Palace Sunrise and just came back on March 5 2026. It was an awesome experience specially the staff. They are friendly and welcoming and very courteous. Anjie in Agra, Norma in Bougambilias and all drivers specially Jeremiah were amazing and extremely helpful. I was really skeptical before leaving but the overall experience was way better than my expectations. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from and a lot of activities to keep kids busy and involved. Overall enjoyable experience!

We enjoyed our stay. Most of the staff is friendly and the amenities are good. The only complaint I have is the number of times they contacted me trying to book me for the tour where they try to sell the palace elite stuff. I told them every time I wasn't interested and that they don't call me again and they didn't care.

When it was time to check out they made us pay $200 for our kids even though they never told us the “free night” only covered the adults and we were all in the same room.

We had a lovely short trip. The food was very good but seemed the same variety for breakfast and lunch buffet. I would return to a moon palace, just not on this coast of Cancun as the sea is very murky and full of seaweed. (Not the fault of the hotel, Although hotel info should not show pristine white sandy beaches and bright blue ocean)It's a shame as the resort is wonderful and the staff are great.

Our room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The balcony space was a nice bonus, and the in-room amenities were thoughtfully stocked. Housekeeping did a great job each day, and everything felt fresh and well cared for throughout our stay.

One of the highlights was the variety of restaurants. With multiple cuisines available, it never felt repetitive, even over several days. The quality of the food was consistently good, and the service in the restaurants was attentive without feeling overbearing.

There’s no shortage of activities — from pools and kids care facilities to other entertainment. Whether you want to stay active or just unwind, the resort offers options for both. The spa facilities are also worth visiting if you’re looking to relax further.

The staff throughout the resort were welcoming and helpful. While service levels can vary slightly depending on timing and location (as with any large resort), the overall experience was very positive, and we felt well taken care of.

We r just coming back from our trip. When we reach in our room we saw one bug then we open the fridge cabinet for juice bacause I was travelling with my two kids we saw bugs crawling around. We call the room service and tell them about bugs they said we can do a bug spray there I got surprised I ask them that we can stay in the room with bug spray they said yes . Then we went to the check in counter and tell them they suggest to go to the public relations department. We went there and show them the pictures of bugs and videos we take and ask for room change they said we will see if we can . We reach moon palace around 5’o clock in the evening and after all this they call us around 9:30 that we got another room for you so then around 10 pm we change our room. So first day experience was so terrible that so many bugs on the floor and my kids got so scared and the surprising thing is that it’s in the moon palace for which you see five star reviews by people. Our first day got spoiled because of bugs and this horrible experience. If I wouldn’t I have taken pictures or videos they wouldn’t change our room.

My property was stolen during the spa. I reached out to public relation and they were very rude and unprofessional. They didn’t properly help me resolve this issue. We involved Secuirty and they also were unable to resolve this issue. They kept denying that the property was stolen from their staff. We asked for some sort of credit or money back for the spa and we were told firmly not allowed. This was the worst experience I ever had at a resort. The entire team and staff were unprofessional about this matter.

We had our transportation booked through Moon Palace, unfortunately we were dropped off at the wrong location (The Grand) and our stay was at Sunrise, easily redirected by staff to the lobby lobby bus to take us to Sunrise. Check in took a little longer than expected but there was a long line up. The resort was absolutely beautiful and we were just in time to hit up the lunch buffet as we had to wait til check in time for our room to be ready. The food was AMAZING the entire stay, like 20/10 between Sunrise and Nizu, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The room was gorgeous, bed was so comfortable I wanted to pack it in my duffle bag. the views from our 3rd floor room were spectacular. Jess that does the activities with guest did such an amazing job, she literally made us workout and have fun the whole day!! We loved her !! The resort had so much to offer to keep you busy, I can honestly go on and on about how amazing Moon Palace is, I’d rebook in a heartbeat. Best resort I’ve stayed at

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Moon Palace Resort, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! This luxurious all-inclusive resort is perfect for families, couples, and anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

The resort boasts an impressive array of amenities, including 7 outdoor pools, a water park with a giant waterslide, and a FlowRider. The beach is stunning, with white sand and crystal-clear waters, perfect for swimming, kayaking, or simply soaking up the sun.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable

The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who cater to your every need.

Dining is a highlight, with 16 restaurants and 11 bars serving a variety of cuisines, from Mexican to Brazilian to Asian.
The buffet options are impressive, and the a la carte restaurants offer a more intimate

Overall, I highly recommend the Moon Palace Resort for an unforgettable vacation experience.

We stayed at Moon palace this winter 2025 and our experience was horrible. I heard a lot about Moon Palace but my experience shows the other way. Please guest when you go there do not but their timeshare. They do not even market it as timeshare they call it membership fee which is complete fraud. I have never seen any resort in Cancun whose focus is to sell business to their guest. No matter what they say DO NOT but the membership, it is all fraud.

Our stay at Moon Palace Cancún was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we had an incredible time and enjoyed every second of the experience.
Service & Staff
The staff here is super friendly and consistently goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Every service provided was top-notch, reflecting a high standard of hospitality that made our vacation stress-free and truly special.
Dining & Food
If you are a food lover, this is the place to be! The food was excellent across the board—from breakfast and lunch to dinner. With 20+ restaurants on-site, there is an incredible variety and plenty of food to choose from. You could stay for a week and still not try everything!
Cleanliness & Atmosphere
The resort is very neat and clean, which we really appreciated. It’s clear the management takes great pride in maintaining the property, as the grounds and facilities were spotless throughout our stay.
Final Verdict
We had great fun and couldn't have asked for a better all-inclusive experience. I highly recommend Moon Palace Cancún to everyone looking for a perfect getaway with great food, friendly service, and a beautiful environment.

The room had a noticeable unpleasant smell, and overall the condition felt worn and in need of renovation. Our room was changed twice in 6 days. This took away from what could have been a much more enjoyable stay.

Hard to book restaurants. Had to fight to get the two-beds room I requested. Booked trip for 4 to Isla de mujeres but when two people got sick they refused to cancel two of for charges. Then due to poor weather you asked permission to transfer to another boat, which I granted in exchange for cancellation of two tickets. This time you agreed. Conclusion: no customer service culture. Paying in advance leaves the customer in a weak position and you take advantage of it.

The room was decent, but not fully cleaned. The table had sticky spills and water rings all over it. So didn't give much confidence on the quality of how everything else was cleaned. Our check in experience was horrible. We booked 4 rooms, one of the rooms had 3 people and we were supposed to have 2 queens. They gave us a king size bed and said they would bring a rollaway bed for the night because they didn't have the right room available. We checked in around 4pm, went back to front desk around 11pm to ask if anything had opened up with a room for 2 beds and the lady at the front counter was beyond rude and said when booking with Expedia you don't get a guarantee what type of bed you get?! We still had to address the rollaway not being delivered since that was the only option and it was almost midnight. The guy at this point we were talking to, again rude, said they were working on it. I said I wanted an actual time since it was so late and he said 20 minutes. They finally delivered the bed, no sheets, blankets or pillows! The next day we tried to book dinner reservation for 2 evenings and the lady said nothing was available. Jesus, our Expedia point of contact, got us in the right room with 2 actual beds and had us dinner reservations booked in a matter of minutes. If we could rate specific staff members we would give Jesus all the 5 stars, he was absolutely wonderful and helped make the mess of this stay as pleasant as he could but we will never return to the property!

We had a fantastic experience during our stay at Moon Palace Cancun. The resort was beautiful, the service was excellent, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly and attentive. From the food to the amenities, everything contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. It was awesome for our end-of-year family vacation. Well maintained rooms and overall hotel accommodations.

We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great all‑inclusive getaway!

- Too much marketing push: hotel need to stop marketing and avoid customers time.
- resort credit has no meaning - since we really can’t use it without paying additional money and use of resort credits are very limited to only small irrelevant items/ activities.

Three different resort located in vast region makes it difficult to move around as you have to rely on golf card/Bus service. The amenities/entertainment options are there but you can't get to use them unless you book 2-3 days in advance. Same applies for many resturants as you only reservations are allowed. Room service takes 1-1.5 hours and couple of times they didn't ever deliver even after couple of phone calls to front desk. Very lengthy check-in and check-out process.

We booked as a group of 10. One booking- 3 rooms. End up in different parts of the resort the only way to be close to each other is we had to pay an upgrade of $120 per room.
Staff is friendly. Check in very slow.

The room was OK, service was hit or miss. Long lines everywhere. Restaurants require reservations and are difficult to get. Resort credits were a scam because you can't use them without spending more out of pocket than you would back home. They say it's for tax but that makes no sense. Plus the receipt clearly says it's not a tax. There are also hidden limits on how much resort credit can be applied to each place. You can't even leave the resort without standing in a long line for checkout.
