Day or night rain or shine the ocean view was incredible. The deluxe room was very spacious and had a little breakfast nook. The room was very clean and well maintained. The AC was perfect. At other resorts we had to wait for the room to be cooled but not here. The food prepared on the adults only side was in small batches and always fresh. The deli open until 3am is a lifesaver for late snacking. The pool was well maintained and vigilant about maintaining it adults only. Love the romantic swing couch in the main lobby. It was one of my favorite places to relax. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

I am giving my honest review. The hotel itself was very clean all the employees where on it anytime it rained always cleaning the resort and loved that. It was very private and small loved that as well the one thing is it had 2 hot tubs and didn’t work the first 4 days and they finally fixed after I brought it to their attention. Also I am a big foodie person the food was so flavorless and the portions ridiculous like a 3 year old was eating I was not impressed there was only 2 places we made reservations that was good the Tavo Asian and the Veneto Italian was good. I just wish they would do more Mexican food being we are in Mexico no hot sauces no salsas. The best food other then the special restaurants was the snack bar by pool but 3 of those days I seen birds grabbing foods from inside and no one shoo them away, then one of the employees was sticking her hand in there eating out of the snack bar. I am not trying to eat after bird or get sick and it’s unhealthy and insanitary. The best breakfast was the cafe in the hotel I looked forward to that every morning because it was the only good food we got. I will tell you Alberto needs a golden start very attentive and was always tending to anything we needed at breakfast. The beach let me tell you was amazing minis the storms and winds but other then us getting bad weather 4 days I’d love to go back to this beach area but maybe not to the same Resort. We love to check out different resorts over all I’d give it a 7 out of 10

Overall well experience with the resort and all its inclusive amenities. For the most part the staff was friendly and helpful. Cancun is a tourist location, so prices are reflective of this aspect outside the hotel and some non-inclusive parts of the hotel (e.g. SPA massages, and trips outside the hotel)

Everyone was extremely friendly. The bar was fully stocked with great drinks and people. The staff had events going on the entire day for every day that was fun, everything was clean and our room was clean every day when we would come back In. They had signs everywhere so everything was easy to find. They gave us vouchers for each night we were there for one restaurant they had in the hotel. They had buffets and a deli open 24/7 great service and friendly staff.

It was good but not the best. I saw that some of the restaurants needed to be maintained. For example the walls on one of the restaurants paint job went only half way and you can easily tell that they didn’t do a good job. Several Staff members were very nice. Some of them were not, the lady in the gift shop was very rude to me. I went to ask if I could have change for a $500 pesos for tips and she rudely told me if I didn’t know there was a coin exchange place next to the hotel. I didn’t, I had just arrived. I know there is two ladies but the lady with the short kind of curly hair. Anyways maybe she was having a bad day. Then the Mexican restaurant food was not good at all. We were only there for three days and the two days the Dj didn’t arrive on Thursday and karaoke was skipped on Saturday. The entertainment was not good. The guys were very nice but the show and production looked poorly. People from other parts of the country want to experience Mexican culture entertainment not USA stuff that is not good at
The room was nice and clean which is a big plus.
The bartender s Rafael y Christian were super nice and friendly to every one. And the Candlelight show on Thursday was amazing loved that, better than the show on the main hotel. Also having the show so early was very inconvenient because of the reservations at the restaurants are very limited and they take 30 to an hour to bring your food. They asked me if I wanted to become a member and I absolutely did not want to.

All inclusive doesn’t indicate top shelf tequila, vodka, or beer. I found out there is premium package to obtain top shelf drinks too late. I recommend buying your duty free alcohol at airport or local convenience stores. The pools were clean and ample space. The ambiance/ staff was fun but the meal options were not authentic. Buffet was decent (burger surprisingly good better than their Mexican food)!

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The only two complaints we had were minor; 1) We booked a king size bed (they don’t have it-it’s two Queen size bed pushed together) and got two queen size pushed together…which is a lot of space but hard to cuddle in the middle of the bed.
2) the desserts were not to our taste. We just opted for fruit as desserts over their cakes and chocolates.

Onto the best parts:
1. The adult swimming pool and hot tubs had SHADE!!!! So you could lounge in the water in the shade while still being outside. Props to Carlos, Isaiac, and Cecilia for making some amazing drinks and keeping everyone happy at the pool. They were fast making and quick to refill our drinks and would even deliver it to us so we wouldn’t have to leave the water.
2. Usually at all inclusive, you want to get to the restaurant for food…but not here. The buffet was good every night we went. The fine dining was good too but portion size was small and we ended up at the buffet after because we were still hungry. Margarita at the omelet station makes amazing food and the grilling station at the dinner buffets were really good.
3. Caribe and royal resorts are connected. So we could join in the fun when we want and then get peace and quiet when we want depending on which resort we went to.

Overall? 4.5 out of 5 and we would definitely stay again. It was too short!!!

My partner and I have traveled to Mexico multiple times in the last few years, but this was our first stay in Cancun proper. We knew it would be different, but we were slightly let down. There are a few food options outside of the big buffet, but reservations are required and the Asian restaurant was never available. The staff was very friendly and we loved the bartenders, and they were helpful and courteous in trying to reserve an issue with our noisy neighbors.

Our only real gripe was the pool at adults only where we stayed. The pool is small, loungers are limited, and guests wake up very early to reserve seats that wind up being unoccupied for a decent chunk of the day. When this was mentioned casually to a staff member, he indicated that they do curb seat reserving by removing towels from chairs that remain unoccupied at length, but we never saw evidence of this. I imagine it would be difficult to handle with patrons considering the towel card system. We spent our days at the beach which is okay, but the bar is a hike and the ocean wasn’t welcoming during our stay.

I appreciated the beautiful location. Our room seemed a little small compared to the pictures. Since they sell memberships, we were approached several times even after saying we weren’t interested. The breakfast offerings were pretty good but outside of that, it wasn’t very good. I felt bad for my partner because I talked up my last experience at another resort and was very disappointed with the food and drinks. We ended up visiting some nearby restaurants for better options.

I’ve stayed at a lot of resorts in Cancun and this is one of my top resorts to stay at you have two resorts in one multiple restaurants multiple buffets multiple pools. All the staff is great and helpful. They always have events going on Great for kids on one side and Great for adults on the other side.

We stayed in room 2425 we had to turn on the sink to keep shower water from burning us. Other then that we could balance the water hotness. Not enough gluten free options. Food in buffet or restaurants not labeled for people with allergies. We missed some activies because they were not listed on the resort website. We fpund out 1/2 before they were having a foam party, so we missed it. I was there with my 21 year old daughter besides beach, pool and excursions she was bored.

This is our 3rd time at this resort. The change to adults only on one side made us visit again. We had issues with Expedia and our booking, but with the super helpful staff and Luany, they helped correct the issue, making the situation a priority. Super thankful for them!
We stayed in room 2464 with ocean front view, with partial roof via the balcony. We loved this room because it was on the end with nobody on either side in view.
The restaurants were super good, but definitely make reservations asap or you won’t get in. The lunch and dinner buffet was horrible. Need to add some salad dressings and maybe some pasta with sauces. Ended up going to the Deli shop. They offer some good sandwich options and coffee.
The beach was super clean. The water was beautiful. The pool was awesome. The loungers in the pool were my favorite and never had a problem getting one.
All in all, I’d give the resort a 10/10. Definitely would go back for the fourth time.

The property has been remodeled and turned into an adult only resort, it’s very nice and clean. It’s not a party resort for sure, a little older mostly members crowd and very laid back when we were there. The staff is very nice and helpful in every aspect. The only negative for us was the buffet the 2 times that we tried it was not good at all, the other restaurants were very good food. Luaney that is one of the management team was very very helpful.

Service was top knotch from the minute we got there. From Oscar the head bellman to Pedro on the front counter we were taken care of right from the start. If you need to know about anything local ask Alfredo Jimenez at the lobby bar. He was super helpful. The property was exceptionally well maintained and you have use of the parent hotel next door as well so there is definitely something for everyone. No need for a car in Cancun as you can ride the bus for a dollar or twelve pesos if you like going local and bus stop is right in front of the hotel. We will definitely not have to look anywhere else for our next visit Thanks for making our vacation special

My stay at GR Solaris Caribe was truly an unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime experience. From the moment I arrived until check-out, I was at room 2558, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile.

The amenities were excellent, the rooms were comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the resort was amazing. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the drinks and snacks were available throughout the day and always fresh.

What made the experience even more special was the hospitality and nightlife. The entertainment team did a fantastic job creating a fun and lively environment every night. There was always something exciting happening, and the energy of the resort was wonderful.

It’s not an adult only resort it’s a family resort. They made a building adult only and on the adult only side you have poor food and only two restaurants in one pool. Customer Service
With the exception of the cleaning staff, the overall service was very poor. There was no effort to welcome or guide guests. No one explained how the hotel works, where the restaurants were, or even basic information about the property. I was given a reservation for one restaurant (Italian, which I don’t eat), and no flexibility or alternatives were offered.

Navigation & Organization
I was never able to properly locate the main buffet. I asked multiple staff members (at least 3–4 people), and while they all gave directions, no one was willing to walk me there. I followed the instructions and still couldn’t find it. For a hotel of this size, that level of lack of assistance is unacceptable.

Excursions / Logistics
I purchased an Xcaret excursion, and the hotel does not allow their buses to pick up or drop off directly. As a result, I was dropped off around 11 PM several hotels away and had to walk back alone at night. This was extremely inconvenient and concerning from a safety standpoint.

Food Quality
The food was below average. For example, the guacamole was clearly not fresh—it tasted like a pre-packaged product you would buy at a grocery store in the U.S., and the staff later confirmed it was from a bag, not freshly prepared. Overall, the food quality did not meet resort standards. In fact, it was comparable to what you would expect from a 1-star hotel at best.

Veneto is the place the stands out the most with their delicious food and great service, unlike the experience we had in Rosmarinus, where the staff was rude and they lack in good service.

The MVP club is where I had the most fun all nights besides the pool parties.

Also, we loved the Michael Jackson show. The artists are very talented.

There needs to be upgrades asap! The pool is too small for such a big hotel! Jacuzzi was crowded! The food was not good! Need more authentic Mexican food. The showers were horrible, water coming out from everywhere.
The one thing I did not appreciate was the presentations. I think if you stay at a hotel the least they can offer is discounts to activities. Here you were forced to go to a presentation and who does not like discounts. I understand the reason they do it. But they say it’s 1hr 30 min but that’s not including breakfast where they take advantage to talk sales! Then you have 3 people trying to convince when you clearly said no! That was stressful. That should not happen in the same hotel you stay in!! Horrible! Also when you check out you MUST leave your bracers they give you otherwise they will charge you for the time you have them. I had to leave the restaurant I was at because even though after I called the front desk to tell her I took all my stuff out but forgot to leave them(which any other hotel you sometimes don’t even turn them in) she said time would continue as if I was in there! Came back and they were cleaning the room! Never again here.

We stayed at GR Solaris Caribe for 3 nights and had a great experience. We booked an oceanview room and were upgraded for free to an oceanside plunge pool room, which was excellent and highly recommended.

Service throughout the resort was very good, including bars, restaurants, and the front desk. The resort website/app made reservations easy. Breakfast was a small buffet but excellent, with lots of options. Lunch choices included the buffet at Royal Solaris Cancun next door, the pool snack bar, or a sit‑down steak restaurant overlooking the ocean. Food was good overall, not amazing, but reliable.

We ate dinner at the Asian, steak, and Italian restaurants. The Asian restaurant is on the Royal Solaris side and felt a bit clunkier. The others were better.
The pool is small and very deep (I’m 5'5\" and it reached my neck), so bring a float if needed. There is shade, drink service, and two large hot tubs, though I wish the pool faced the ocean instead. The beach was spacious with lots of chairs, but more umbrellas would help.

The room was very clean with no mildew or smells. There were many bar and coffee options, plus a quiet lounge and diner away from the pool. One loud surprise white party by the pool felt very social‑media focused, so we left.

Sargassum arrived heavily on the last day, but staff cleared the beach. Few beach vendors and they weren’t pushy. Best for couples, not large groups. Overall, a great stay where you feel taken care of.

We had a great overall stay at GR Solaris Caribe and would recommend it for a relaxing getaway, rating it around a 4/5 overall. One of the biggest highlights was our room—we had a private plunge pool right outside our door overlooking the ocean, which was honestly a game changer. The main pool felt pretty crowded for the number of guests (and people “reserving” chairs at 6am and not coming back until 10am… just rude lol), so having our own space made the experience so much more enjoyable. Even better, bartenders Lupita and Marya would come around to the plunge pools to check on us and serve drinks—they were absolutely LOVELY and truly elevated our stay. The only downside to the plunge pool setup is that there aren’t partitions between pools, so privacy can be limited if you have neighbors right next to you. Outside of that, the rooms themselves were excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained (5/5). The staff overall were friendly and attentive, and we felt safe the entire time, with transportation around Cancun being easy to navigate. Food and drinks were decent but a bit inconsistent (around 3–3.5/5), and the check-in process could definitely be improved—it wasn’t clear what to do between arrival and official check-in time. The resort app was helpful but could use updates, especially with adding a map, amenity locations, and hours of operation. It would also be helpful to receive a map at check-in, especially with the layout and adjoining resorts, and for bars to offe

Ocean view room was incredible, very relaxing laid back vibes. Cafeteria was on the smaller side, had to wait about 10-15mins to be seated. We had dinner at the Italian restaurant and the steakhouse and it was pretty decent. What stood out to me the most was how kind, friendly, and welcoming all staff was. We had a very weird thing happen, my husband and I were napping in the room around 4pm and something woke us up… there was a room service person in the room!!! I couldn’t believe my eyes! She put the champagne down (we didn’t order it) and just walked out. So so strange!

The staff are amazing! The room was gorgeous! Unfortunately we agreed to talk to a salesman. Huge mistake. They ask for 90 mins which was actually 3 hours. They say you can say no if not interested. That’s not accurate. When you say no, they go from being nice and friendly to pushy and pressuring. They bring in another “boss” but it’s another person to pressure you. They brought in a third person pushing for a sale further. They turned aggressive, rude and disrespectful. We were very disappointed and surprised as we’ve stayed here multiple times and the treatment by Israel and Linaya was so disrespectful and out of character of what we’ve experienced at caribe previously. We will not be back.

Overall the hotel was average. The buffet food was horrible! Like everyday we were there the buffet had limited options-we ate lots of salads. The beach did not have an attendant so you would have to go to the pool bar and get a drink and walk back to the beach. There were only about 6 umbrellas at the beach so you would need to get there early if you didn’t want to lay in the hot sun all day.

The hotel is nice small and not packed with people. No swim up bar, hot tub closed at 7:00 in the afternoon. No bars open before 11:00 am. If you you like to party a little when you visit Mexico this is not your spot. If you like relaxing reading books by the pool you have found a gem.

Noisy airco in the room, noisy room in general (I could hear all cars roaming around the avenue during the night, making a bad quality sleep). Drinks were not the best quality, and not very consistent from one bar to another. Royal buffet food was not the best.

The room was clean, staff were nice and attentive, although not very consistent.

Tour agency sold us a jungle tour saying we would go to the reef and the underwater museum, however we only snorkled on the reef, there was no underwater museum as part of the tour.

Transfer from/to the airport worked well and on time.

The property is well maintained. Check in was quick and even upgraded my room. Timeshare presentation was presented and the prize at the end was worth compared to other resorts. Food was amazing which is not something I say often about resorts. Activities was lacking a bit as if you do want pool side fun you’ll have to walk over to the sister resort. WiFi was good everywhere. I will be returning.

La parte de adulto solo muy lindo pero tiene varias cosas que me gustarían que supieran, para comenzar no tiene mucho personal de trabajo cómo en el
Front desk y camareros, sin contar que me fui a la piscina a las 9 am y me acerco a pedir un trago de alcohol y me dicen en la barra que solo pueden dar agua y refresco hasta las 11 am cosa que veo súper mal ya que si uno está pagando por un hotel todo incluido y lo que quiere es beber y no tener limitaciones…. Si lo que quieres es beber y fiestar es el hotel incorrecto….

It’s supposed to be an adults-only hotel. While you do have your own side, you still have to share amenities with their other property, which is family-friendly. At times, it didn’t feel like an adults-only experience.

Everything was amazing! I stayed here for four nights with my friend. It was his birthday, so we were celebrating that. The breakfast buffet is very nice and we would highly recommend for dinner the steak restaurant and also the Asian restaurant. The Italian restaurant was not good. Pretty poor service. I want to give special credit to Adrian who is one of the breakfast servers. He was SO friendly and very Customer Service minded. Also Mr. Roberto, who is a server at the Asian restaurant really went above and beyond for us the last night. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who is visiting Cancun.

I want to make it clear that my rating has nothing to do with the staff & location of the resort- both were wonderful. However, when booking an adults only, the expectation is that it is adults only. Unfortunately, most of the amenities were on the attached family resort. For example:

Swim up bar- family pool
Dj & dancers - family pool
A la cate dinners & buffet- family resort
Smoking area- family pool
Glow stick party at nignt- family resort
Foam party- family pool
Beach DJ party- family side
Another issue I noticed was that my wifi didnt work in my room unless by the window and didnt work at the beach.

Im not saying that the family side shouldnt have those things, I am just mentioning these things so folks who are expecting adults only, understand that isnt the case and I am just speaking from my experience and expectation.

The location was lovely, the beachfront was amazing, the staff and food were great, it was clean and the lunch buffet poolside was definitely a plus!

My Ocean View room was Perfect. The room decoration was elegant and had 5 lighting options to match the mood. The Hotel staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Several staff remembered my wife and i from our previous trip, which speaks to the attention they pay to the guests. I will be returning and would recommend the Royal Solaris Caribe to everyone.

We loved Caribe. The pool & beach were fantastic.
Lots of towels and very pleasant service all day long. Breakfast in the morning was a highlight. Luz the hostess was a bright refreshing encounter every day. Her teammates Adrain Alfredo Jesus and Ricardo all at cafe Solaris kept the coffee flowing in style.
Lu the manager was always present . Interacting with all the guests and ever ready to volunteer any iinformation one may need . I particularly appreciated that Lu recommended and made reservations for dinner almost . We took her advice and enjoyed each place that she recommended.
Honestly I would have no hesitation to recommend caribe. Rooms were very clean prompt housekeeping lots of towels and bottled water.
I can’t wait to go back.

Very nice hotel, excellent experience, the food was good. The asian restaurant was the best with the best customer service. My only 2 complaints, staff was calling to my room at 8am for some reason, when you are on vacation i want to rest, not waking up early. And the most important thing for me was the lack of real Mexican Music in the hotel, No Mariachis and not showing the rich Mexican culture that i was expecting. Other than that i will recommend and i will come back soon to this hotel.

The resort and room are very clean. The service could be better, don't expect to be brought food while lounging at the beach. DO NOT book on the Lagoon side, you will hear the highway all night - this happened to us and luckily they found us another room that was quiet. The food is ok, it will sometimes taste better than it looks! Guest services and the servers at the restaurant are great. If you have to eat at the buffet, avoid anything at the height of children, they touch it all! We stayed on the adults only side which was peaceful, not a party, lots of ppl 60+ and a very chill vibe. The proximity to the beach is lovely. Room and bed are quiet comfy.

Food was really, and I mean REALLY disappointing. They also told us there was a free promotion going on for their anniversary where they would take us on a trip. We show up and were subjected to a FOUR HOUR sales presentation for their time share... we had to tell literally five different people NO. We are NOT interested. They were hounding us. Terrible experience. Never returning. Couldn't pay me.

The grounds, rooms, pool, etc, was all very nice and very clean.

Staff was extremely friendly and polite, thank you Luany & Sam at reception for the upgrade.

The resort is very very chill and quiet. If you are looking to party or be up late, this is absolutely not the resort for you. We just wanted to relax, read and hangout and the vibe & other guests at the resort were all on the same page which we really appreciated.

Our biggest gripe was that the loungers at the pool were all reserved so early in the morning. Being a chill adults only resort, the older folk would put their books or towels on the loungers to reserve them for the day. Every morning regardless of when we went for breakfast, every lounger was reserved by guests who woke up extremely early to put their stuff on a lounger. We had our own private plunge pool overlooking the ocean, so it wasn’t a huge deal for us specifically, but I can imagine the frustration of other guests who did not have their own private pool.

The beach was excellent as expected for this area. Plenty of available beach loungers, water was good, sand was soft, not rocky.

Highly recommend the rooms with their own private pool overlooking the ocean. You had immediate access to the beach and main pool, main bar, and the waiters/waitresses came to your pool regularly to take drink orders so you didn’t have to go to the bar.

Food was mediocre overall. The best we found was the Mexican restaurant at the neighbouring resort GR Solaris.
