Everything was really clean here inside and outside all around! Me and my girl loved this place so much we didn’t want to leave!! Such an amazing stay with amazing workers especially our Good friend Damien that worked the bar at night getting us great service and drinks non stop!! Damien showed hard work and amazing worth ethic he was literally the best!!! If you go here and you want great service and good drinks go to Damien!!! We miss him so much and Hardrock it’s self next time I come to Cancun I’m booking at harkrock Cancun again !! All the restaurants were amazing going from breakfast, lunch and dinner!! I’m telling you guys have to come here you wouldn’t regret it! A lot of activities to do on resort and they also throw foam Pool parties and do a lot of water activities! We love you Hardrock until next time!!

The hotel is one of the oldest hard rock. They are going under Reno this year so it will come out in better shape. The theater is old and small. The buffet choices are very limited, probably the smallest have ever seen in any of the Caribbean all inclusive hotels. Their entire buffet is size of only dessert section of some big resorts. The onsite restaurants are also very limited on choices. Zen and Toro is decent. Not so much for kids to do.

On positive side, the resort is small and everything is steps away no long walks. The bartenders are nice and serves good drinks. The staff is amazing very kind and helpful. We requested for late checkout and room upgrade both were done without charge. The late night Dj/music was amazing and live!

Very enjoyable experience. The staff was incredibly helpful, the food was surprisingly good, and it always felt like there was something to do. The room was cleaned daily and the room service was a nice touch. All of the alcohol was high end and it felt like a considerable step up from some other properties in the area. The only let down was the beach, which was quite small and covered in weeds.

Hard Rock Cancun (Fri–Mon birthday weekend). I expected a 4–5 star experience, but it fell short—overall 2/5, saved by exceptional service staff.

Check-in felt like an assembly line: one counter to check in, then another line for keys, then additional lines/desks for add-ons. Counter staff were adequate, but not helpful when problems came up.

Expedia VIP benefit (20% off spa once per stay) is not automatic—it wasn’t in their system for our room unless I explicitly stated it when scheduling. I booked an additional longer massage and still didn’t get the discount because I assumed they could see VIP status.

Birthday package (cake, door banner, beach cabana, couples massage, sparkling wine) required multiple desks to schedule. The banner was supposed to be up Saturday (key part of the surprise) and cake/wine at 5pm—no banner and cake/wine arrived ~6pm only after I went to concierge. I was told they’d investigate and contact me—no follow-up.

Sunday: tried to upgrade to a poolside cabana, got sent desk-to-desk and was told “not 24 hours in advance,” so we had to buy a poolside cabana on top of the beach one (other pool cabanas sat open all day). Complaints required repeating the full story to multiple desks, ending with “sorry.”

Room was clean but smelled like mildew. Lighting is terrible for makeup (overhead shadows; makeup mirror blocked by faucet). Minor: only Modelo on tap + limited Corona Light.

Shoutout to Beto, Gustav, and Jhonas—they were outstanding.

We have spent the last several years at this Hard Rock Cancun resort and we love it. It is near the airport, clean, friendly staff, and beautiful pools and beach. They really try to have many varieties of food to suit all palates. The only complaint is I wish they had more to do in the evening-a dancing club would be nice.

We had a great impromptu stay at the Hard Rock after a blizzard delayed flights home. We were with a larger group so this was the perfect hotel for our guests who were varied in age, from 3 years to 60. The hotel restaurants are dated and need some improvements but we heard the talking about renovating soon. The staff was wonderful, especially Chac who helped us with breakfast each morning at the steakhouse restaurant. The poolside staff was awesome too, always ready to help us with whatever we needed!

The room was satisfactory, and the cleaning staff was efficient. However, nightly dinner reservations required the use of an app that proved unreliable. During our honeymoon, some staff members went above and beyond to assist us. However the concierge, who failed to properly schedule our romantic dinner at Toro. This oversight led to a discussion between the hostess and ourselves. Concierge and the excursions staff were not aligned, and they attempted to charge us for a honeymoon package, which was clearly listed as complimentary on the official Hard Rock website. The individual informed me that the website was incorrect and that I was obligated to pay. However, the website was clearly accurate as it was the official website for Hard Rock Cancun. In conclusion, staying at the hotel was more trouble than it was worth. We will be staying elsewhere the next time we are in Cancun.

Check in staff. Did not explained the perks or received as described in our reservation. Was approached by a staff member after initial check in review and told us was going to send some treats on Friday before check out and never came through. Drinks were not up to par comparing to other hotels or Hard Rock Los Cabo’s. Building needs major upgrading. Other staff in restaurants and pool go above and beyond.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this resort, and it exceeded every expectation from start to finish. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout our stay, the staff truly made us feel valued and cared for. The property is beautifully maintained with stunning views and thoughtfully designed spaces that blend luxury and comfort perfectly. Our room was spotless, spacious, and elegantly decorated, with a very comfortable bed and excellent amenities. The dining options were outstanding, offering fresh, flavorful dishes and a great variety at every meal. We also enjoyed the range of activities available, from relaxing by the pool to taking advantage of the resort’s other amenities, all while still being able to find peaceful spots to unwind. Overall, it was a memorable and relaxing getaway, and I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for an exceptional experience.

Desde que llegamos al hotel nos estuvieron hostigando con sus membresias falsas y constantemente me llamaban para que les comprara ofertas con paquetes de vacaciones y endeudarme con membresias de hasta $100,000 Mil dolares y es lo mas estupido que he escuchado. Todos ellos no me dejaban en paz con su constante insistencia de venta de paquertes de vacaciones... fue muy molesto y disgustante !!!

The staff was very friendly, the room was decent and the food for the most part was good. I had two main issues. First there were 2 elevators in our area of the hotel and 1 was out of order the entire week we were there. The second was the first day at this all inclusive resort right after we arrived and waited for checkin they have someone try to get you to buy a package to leave the resort. I just paid $5,000+ to get here and enjoy a week on the property, why would I want to leave and go to another area, pay a separate fee and have to deal with the safety risks associated with leaving the property? It made zero sense, it felt like a timeshare offer or something, it came off as low class and made this a 4 star instead of a 5 star review.

Food options are lacking, and I’ve noticed other guests complaining to staff even during their dining experiences. During my extended stay, our room was only cleaned once. Additionally, there’s a need for more staff. One cook was yelled at during lunch because she had a line but was the only one serving and cooking the food. This was extremely unprofessional. Customer service informed us that they’d be closing for a six-month remodel. It seemed like they didn’t care about the complaints or good service since they’ll be closing soon.

When I checked in, my room was not ready. I waited 2 hours for a room which delayed my day of arrival at the hotel. They tried to make up for it with a 25 min free massage, but the room they ended up giving me was not what I paid for and it really impacted my stay and birthday experience. I really wish I would’ve been given a better room or had my room been ready from the beginning.

We had a very disappointing stay at Hard Rock Hotel Cancun. We traveled from London and arrived extremely tired, but after check-in we were forced to wait for 45 minutes listening to a staff member explain the hotel, despite clearly asking to go to our room to rest.

The next morning, we were misled into attending a so-called “breakfast” to receive discounts on excursions and spa services. This turned into a nearly 3-hour investment/timeshare sales pitch. We were on holiday, not there to discuss investments. This felt misleading and intrusive, and honestly like a scam.

Service throughout the hotel was poor. Room service never arrived after waiting over an hour for a simple tea and cake. Spa massage quality was very low. Reception refused a 2-hour late checkout, even when we offered to pay and explained our flight was at 7pm and one of us was unwell.

Food was also disappointing: buffet poor, Italian restaurant below standard, Japanese was okay, Toro Steakhouse was good, Isla very limited and not a real seafood restaurant.

Overall, the service and experience were far worse than Secrets The Vine next door, where we stayed last year. Definitely not the luxury experience this hotel claims to offer.

We were part of a wedding party and booked many rooms. We spent a lot of money while we there. We needed to cancel one night of one of out rooms and The Hard Rock refused to refund or adjust. Will jot being staying at their properties anymore. Could add a few more things that could be improved at the resort, but we will leave it with this. Disappointed.

This place is a scam - fraudulent advertising for their so called 2 bedroom family suite - which all the employees call a suite at the hotel, including multiple managers. Its 2 basic connecting hotel rooms?? Never stay here. The service is poor, the rooms and water smell, the food is average. I want a refund BC Expedia is partially to blame for the false advertising as well.

Aléjate de los vacation planers, terrible servicio de coordinación de transportación, solo enfocados en vender tours y no te asisten. Nunca contestan el teléfono, intenté desde una semana antes y fue pérdida de tiempo. Despreocúpados por la atención al cliente y groseros.

Los vendedores de tiempo compartido nos muy empalagosos, te llaman a toda hora. Increíble que HRH tenga vendedores ambulantes hostigando a los huéspedes.

Although we had a great vacation in Mexico, I believe this hard rock hotel needs a major makeover!! Restaurant are not good, property is very small, and the hotel doesn’t even have a casino which is surprising since it’s a Hard rock. If you are looking for good food, a lot of amenities and a big property to walk around, you should look elsewhere. If you are looking for friendly staff, decent drinks and a cheaper alternative, then this is the place for you.

What impressed us most was the staff's dedication. I remember some staff names. Gonzalo, the bartender, has incredible energy and kindness with every guest who approaches his bar to order drinks. At Frida Restaurant, the servers, Francisco and Carlos, treated us like royalty every day, and their joy and happiness were contagious from the moment we arrived. Another exceptional employee is Leonardo, a waiter at La Isla Restaurant, with genuine charisma that makes even the most demanding guests leave the restaurant happy after receiving his service. On the beach, Maria, a wonderful person who made us feel that her sole purpose was to ensure every guest felt happy. Damian, a tireless and incredibly friendly young man, was fantastically dedicated to his guests, always asking, \"What can I do to make you feel even better?\" Alex, another person at the beach who is in charge of digging holes in the sand for the umbrellas, does it with impressive kindness and cheerfulness, constantly interacting with the guests with a smile. Other fantastic staff members are the security guards; I can't remember their names, but I know one of them is from Tabasco, like the chili pepper. He was always very attentive, knowledgeable about the location of every place in the hotel, and on top of security. I don't remember the guys' names at the cafeteria near the lobby. Still, they were always cheerful and very attentive. Thank you to all of you at the Hard Rock Cafe in Cancun for such a wonderful stay.

If you book through this app, at the hotel they will give you one of the most awful rooms with views to the air conditioners boxes (right in front of your window) That was what they told me at the lobby literally “because the res wasn’t made directly with us we can’t do anything about it “, me and my family never opened the curtains. Time share was annoying too. Everything else was good, good food, they have 4 or 5 different restaurants (filet mignon was amazing) nice pools, beach also good, one star because of the room.

The hotel is good. You get what you paid. We had 2 problems. 1) One of us got food poisoning after eating a seafood soup at Isla (one of their restaurants onsite. We never left the hotel). 2) We made the mistake to go to one of these meetings where they try to sell you vacation packages (the company's name is Legendary). The first two individuals we dealt with were very nice, but then when it comes to the next in command who tried you to commit to packages, the experience was horrible and overwhelming. They push you to sign something. They stress you out, and they try you to sign a very expensive commitment on the spot. We were willing to listen to them and see opportunities for future vacations, but all they did was to stress us out and ruining our day. I understand their job is to sell, but they need to be more conscious of people's time and vacation. We said NO repeatedly, and they kept on sending us more people to commit. You need to understand the meaning of NO, and just leave people alone. Don't be tricked by these people. You are offered gifts. We got a couple, but they are not worth it, and you still need to paid for stuff at some point when enjoying those gifts. Just to be clear, the problem were the supervisors or managers. The other individuals involved were very nice.
