5 star luxury, incredibly clean, staff super attentive. Beds were super comfortable. Amazing views of incredibly clean beach and sand. Food was delicious and room service is included. Delicious coffee shop all included in the lobby. Went to some of the shows and they were all good. Gym has everything you would want or need. Lots of classes and things to do although I didn't do any of them- just enjoyed the room and view. Already planning my next trip back!! Spa is also definitely worth the visit.

Had a great time here. Hoping the renovations include another daytime bar. Would love to see a large round tiki type bar and to cozy up to near Jabanero's with all day music. Not loud music, just good music. Otherwise, this place was wonderful. Not sure if we'll be back with so many other destinations to explore. We'll see what the renovations bring.

We had an amazing stay at this resort. The restaurants were delicious and the staff went out of their way to be helpful and entertaining. The beach is steps away from the pool and there is easy access to cabanas and lounge chairs as well. I strongly recommend this resort, although they are going to renovate it in a few weeks. They’re planning on a grand reopened by Christmas 2025.

Our stay at the Hyatt was absolutely perfect! There are so many positive things to say about this place, but let me start by talking about the food. It was not only delicious but beautifully presented with a variety of options to satisfy any palate. The resort offers several fantastic restaurants, and we especially enjoyed dining at the outdoor restaurant, where we could take in stunning views of the water while enjoying our meal.

Every room at the Hyatt faces the water, and we were treated to a spacious room with a large balcony. The linens were soft, and the shower amenities were of excellent quality, which added to the overall comfort of our stay.

The staff truly made our experience stand out. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and polite, always going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We also appreciated the fact that the resort is an adult-only retreat. While we both love children, having a peaceful, quieter atmosphere was exactly what we wanted. It was wonderfully relaxing.

That said, if you're looking for more lively activities, there’s plenty to enjoy! The resort offers fun events like foam parties, trivia, and \"name that tune\" games for those who want a bit more excitement. In the evenings, there’s entertainment, but we personally loved just unwinding at the beach and savoring the delicious food at the restaurants.
All in all, this resort exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. We highly recommend it!

The wine and cocktails were also poor for a five-star resort. The bartenders used syrupy mixes instead of making hand-crafted cocktails. I expected better for the price and ratings.

The staff is excellent except for the restaurant waiters are overwhelmed. We went to 3 and it took 15-30 just to take our order and the same to receive it. Some restaurants are hot and need a/c. Food is good at the Mexican and Asian Restaurants and room service food is good. The poolside restaurant is horrible and the buffets restaurant not good. Place needs to be renovated, the floors are cracked and the furniture is dated. The elevators take forever and one is broken. Out Jr suit was very comfortable. The shower and jetted tub were great.

We loved the pool and the beach. The staff was excellent. It was hard to find a free Cabana and chairs and we felt like we had to rush out to reserve seats first thing in the morning which was not relaxing. The only other complaints are that the was NO pool bathroom and you had to walk inside the hotel. But we absolutely loved our vacation and the room was clean, comfortable bed and nice balcony.

Excellent all inclusive resort. We loved our 2 week stay. The staff are amazing, so attentive, polite, and accommodating, especially Lorena and Rosa our personal concierges.

The beach was fantastic, complimentary cabanas were plentiful. Beach service was really good too.

The restaurants, coffee shop and also buffet were very good. Would have liked a couple more restaurants but we enjoyed what we had. Drinks were plentiful and good.

Activities all day long. Entertainment events every evening was very good.

Our room, ocean front, was very spacious, quite nice, great patio, however, the entire resort which opened in 2007 is now dated. Good news is the resort is closing at the end of March 2025 until perhaps December 2025 or possibly January 2026, for a complete renovation.

We will go back in 2026 when reopened.

This is an older hotel, used to be called something else before and now called Zilara. For Cancun all inclusive it was a bit small and not as nice as the Hyatt Ziva. The bartenders kept on running out of the liquor I requested and this was a constant thing. Not sure if they were looking for tips or just had no liquor, I found it to be strange especially when I don’t drink very much. I expected muted much better

The first room we stayed at had a leak and then they moved us to a second room and they had a leak as well. I was totally upset with the whole experience of staying there and I’ll never stay there again. The manager was horrible. He was not helpful at allllllll! I literally ask him if he can give us credit from our hotel because this is ridiculous to be in two different rooms and they were both leaking. I will never stay at this place ever again in my life. Worst customer service and the worst experience I’ve ever had an icing on the cake and upset me to be sleeping in a room that is leaking right on top of our body

So as an overall vacation with my wife, mind you, it was our first vacation in twenty five years for our anniversary. To both of us, it was one of the best vacations.If not, the number one that we have ever went to the resort was exceptional, the staff was exceptional.Everything just worked for us for beautiful memories to come, and it was our twenty fifth anniversary, we are now going to be saving up to partake next year, or maybe at the end of this year we're still looking, but we are going to return to the same resort across cancun because this resort is going to be shutting down for remodeling, so we will be looking for the same ownership they bring a high quality.

What can I say… Hyatt Zilara has been our home away from home. It’s such an incredible place! The food, the rooms, the beach, the entertainment but most importantly it’s the staff that keeps us coming back. What a terrific group of individuals that meet you everyday with a smile and go above and beyond the take care of our every want or need. This years trip was no exception.

The trip started off with a Paola who worked on getting us checked in. She was able to help us and made the process easy.

The beach waiters and concierge not only served us but many have become our friends over the years. David, Javier, Sergio, Eduardo, Orlando and Luis. Amazing people who looked out for us wherever they were stationed that particular day.
Ivan the bartender at Marie Marie is completely wonderful and we would stop by that bar even when eating at other restaurants he makes the best cocktails.

Carlos did an amazing job at Asiana

I know Zilara is getting a remodel and we are looking forward to the upgrades but I truly hope that all of these great employees will be able to be there when the resort opens back up in December. The amenities at Zilara is only half of why we come year after year. It is truly the wonderful staff.

The not so good - We enjoyed everything but the check in process. We arrived at 11:30 am but were not able to check into our room until 4:00. We also were in a room next to the event space where there was a wedding and the next morning, they were loud cleaning it up around 7am.
The good - Food was actually really good. We enjoyed the food at Punta Vista and Asiana restaurants. They had special days of outdoor grilling by the pool like paella, tacos and burgers. We were always able to get a complimentary cabana on the beach but poolside we had to pay because we were not getting up early to save one of the few free ones. 20 min from the airport, staff is super friendly and they have some cool planned activities worth checking out (whiskey and chocolate tasting). The room was clean, pillows comfortable and loved the hammock on the balcony!
