When I write that the front desk my room was not ready. He gave me a room which I requested one bed and give me room with two beds. Also the room did not have a lock then he gives me a lock and it does not work. Then he tells me the room won't be ready for a couple hours then all of a sudden 5 minutes later he said oh yeah we have a room now. He kept on ignoring me at the front desk and he made me wait in the other room until my room was ready I just felt not treated really well. The gentleman who works in the cafeteria or really hard and seems to be really Pleasant and friendly. Would I go back to this hotel I don't think so because the bad experience on the front desk the others were okay. The price was reasonable but the place it seems to be run down.

Needs fixing. Walls are cracked in and outside the building. Balcony was broken, we were going to take a picture and I leaned on the rail made of wood and it was broken. If I leaned hard, I would have gone over it and we were 3 stories up.

Location is great! Check-in was ok. Room and the bathroom had some bad odour. Water pressure was very low. The flush kept on clogging. We had to call them multiple times. We asked for an extra mattress and receptioist said i have to wait for the next day to get it and i still did not. Breakfast was ok. They were out of coffee and other stuff 1 hour before the end time. And there was no internet. All in all not something that i will ever go back to.

Room was very clean and spacious. The furniture on the balcony is dated and could be updated. Staff at the reception area were very nice and attentive. Great place to stay if your loooking for a quiet place away from the touristy part of Cancun yet not too far away if you want to join the fun.

DO NOT stay here. There were bugs in the room, looked like bed bug stained mattress - we couldn’t see any live ones but were not certain there weren’t any - and mould on the mattress. The patio door did not lock or close fully, the safe didn’t even have a lock on it. The door to the room didn’t have a manual internal lock and there was enough space to see through to the hallway through the door - I’m surprised no one tried to break in.
There was also some kind of rave all night through till the next late morning from somewhere nearby (maybe across the water) and it was so loud and the bass was shaking our room. Hardly slept. Worth spending more money elsewhere.

Room condition were ok and requires some renovations. Needs improvement in bed (poor bed quality). Limited option in breakfast. Ok for 1 or 2 night stays. Swimming pool is good. No hanger in bathroom while taps and shower are too old and needs replacement. Mold smell. Air Conditioner in very good condition

It’s cheap but you pay for what you get. In the bathroom there was a leak underneath the faucet. There were cracks on the walls. I had also paid for a balcony thinking I was going to have a great view and I got a first floor room to view to nothing. You also have to pay taxes when you check in. The cleaning is not that good either. It could’ve been better.

The plumbing on the property was terrible. We were told not to put toliet tissue in toliet because it would get clogged. The mattress was soiled with some nasty unknown substance. The staff was nice and very helpful with information about activities to do in Cancun. No phones in the rooms for the guests to use. The bed didn't have fitted sheets put on the mattresses just regular sheets and no spreads to keep you warm. The breakfast wasn't real breakfast just cereal, milk and orange juice.

The location was not as described . Beds were twins, not king size as stated. There there 4 of us in a room and we only had 2 towels. To get more it was a fight with the front desk it was a fight.

Awful customer service and unreachable by phone. I reached out to the hotel 1.5 weeks before my stay to change my check in date because I had to change my flight and saw they had 8 rooms available for the new date. Me, my friend, and Expedia tried to call many times and they never picked up the phone (at least 6 different calls). They were not helpful via messages and gave me the runaround giving me excuses like changes cannot be made via messaging or phone - only by an email from Expedia to a specific email address they would not provide me and told me I could not send myself. Expedia sent the email 4 days before my check in date with no response. I followed up 2 days later. Finally got an email the day before my check in date that they do not have rooms available lol. It is a small hotel - they could have made the change via messages but clearly did not feel like accommodating because someone via message told me they had even spoken to the reservations person directly.

The staff is very rude.
They wanted to charge me to let a friend in my room 55 dollars just to hang out. Even though the room was for 4 people.. they said it had to be added on the reservation.
If you meet someone and you want to brig then to your room better forget it.
The stuff were super rude.
I will never stay there again

The property was good in that the pool and water view were nice. But the inside of the rooms smelled strongly of mold/mildew. The showers were massively underpowered and not cleaned much, just the floors and walls, rather than the actual shower head. The toilet didnt flush properly at all, I got lucky to get anything to actually flush twice out of five days of regular use.

The overall care to the doors and furniture is okay, the frame of the main door to the hotel room shifted out of place if you pulled on the door, but not quite to the point where it broke open. There was also a random door that looked like it had been pried open before, but it was locked and I could not know what was behind it.

Finally, when arriving, we were sent to a room right next to the lobby and front door, which had two beds instead of the one bed we asked for, and it wasn't cleaned yet at all. Beer cans and bottles were strewn about and the beds hadn't been made at all. They did respond quickly with that but the service man didn't even say anything about it, he just walked in, looked at it, clicked his tongue in disappointment, and led us to another room that was suitable. Didn't mention anything about it like apologizing once.

Otherwise the response from everyone in the building was proper and cordial. It seemed the service for our room to replenish everything was on an every other day basis as well. Wasn't a big deal for us, but just a good detail.

We were giving a room COVERED in mold. Literally mold on the walls and ceiling. Disgusting. The staff was nice enough to change our rooms. Unfortunately the AC was leaking and the water ran down the room so wasn’t a nice feeling walking around feeling the water on my feet in the middle of the night. Area is very dark and you can hear noise from other rooms and noise from across the lagoon ALL NIGHT LONG. Very unpleased with our stay. Do not recommend and would definitely suggest just paying the extra you need to for a nicer hotel, even if it’s just $30-$50, DO IT and do not stay here.

There was no hot water in the shower. They were limited on towels and toilet paper they would give us. Charged us for a second key to the room that 3 people were staying in. I will never stay there again and will never recommend to anyone! Overall horrible experience

This place is a dump. I stayed here 7 days. From the moment I checked in I regretted booking this stay. I booked on Expedia. If I could have cancelled I would have. When I checked in the clerk said I had to pay an additional $40.00 for their government tax. I already paid taxes through Expedia. I paid it because I was tired and ready to get some rest. The first 4 I had no hot water. The whole place is filthy and run down. The doors hardly shut on the rooms. The elevator was broke down half the time I was there. When they removed the out of order sign from it, I tried to use it. I was stuck in the elevator over 20 minutes. There Is no phone in the elevator to call for help.

The main issue is once you book with Expedia and pay for it, it’s almost impossible to get a refund. Do yourself a favor, don’t stay here.

Not so good experience, specially with housekeeping and the people up front. They never clean/ sweep my villa. All they did was put new towels, they even took away the bed liners never replaced them bad service in general. The location was very convenient 5 minutes away from the main strip also outside the villa by the pool was ok.

As we had gotten there a few hours early for our check in the friendly staff let us park our car so we could walk and get something to eat before checking in. Place was clean enough and in a nice enough location to get to food and other things to do. Wish we had time to go use the pool as it looked nice and refreshing.

it’s good for the price and location. walking distance to the nightlife. bus stations nearby . They were kind to allow us early check in. Careful walking at the intersection of the main drag with hotel. 2 cops one uniform says policia and the other masked guy is turist police. we walked by as they were harassing some tourists at the corner and didn’t think much of it. till later that night, same cops they approached me and my son in front of vips restaurant were we sat by the steps a bit to look at google maps and decide which way to go. the unmasked police said that we are disrespecting mexican law and must pay a fine of 600$ and spend 36hrs in jail for being on private property at the steps of vips . they he said give me $400 now and will say it never happened. Like an idiot I paid bcs It was 1130 and we had a flight to catch in the morning. so, dont carry a lot of cash with you bcs he looked through my pockets and wallet .

Read the other reviews. Its all true. Staff 8s rude and get annoyed to help answer amd questions. The building is falling apart and NO SECURITY AT ALL. Key card was disactivated daily and staff never once cuecked to see what room i was in they just activated it without question if that was my room.

This place looks nice from the pictures, but is is like a slum. My room had almost no furniture, everything was old and outdated. Nothing on the walls. The ONE window in the room opened to a dusky corner with a water heater or something. There was a sliding glass door that was all the natural light I could get, but it opened to a courtyard and I had no privacy. The restaurant was nice, but it was French which I wasn't looking for. There was construction the first night. The wifi was weak. I was traveling alone and I felt unsafe. It's close to bus stops, but it isn't on hotel row. I went to the lobby and there were some scary people there. I spent 1 night and left the next day. It's by the water, but not a beach. It had almost no amenities. The room was obviously a former apartment and the door to the other room was locked, but I could hear people in there! I

Do not waste your money here and get trapped in the automatic pay for one dat stay even though you can it within the first 10min in there like I did! This hotel is dirty old and falling apart. It is not a safe place to stay health wise. The AC had mold in it and the floor was cracked/dirty. The bathroom window was held open with a pipe. It's disgusting! Please save your money! They did not want to refund me or cancel my stay either of 5days. DO NOT STAY HERE! People infront of me canceled their stay as well.

Great value property. My room was large and comfortable, it was quite clean, and had everything I needed. The staff was helpful, kind, and welcoming. The location was great - walkable to the beach, and near everything else one needs (supermarket, bus stops, etc.). Not a luxury hotel, but perfect for a budget traveler.

We liked the locationt. You can walk from the hotel to coco bongo's area, and you can catch buses really near the hotel. Pool is also nice.

We didn't like that the hotel looked old, so there were a lot of issues with the room: Doors that were almost falling, walls with cracks, etc.

Also, the AC was working right but it seems it's too small for the room, so people on one bed were freezing while people on the other bed were sweating

I can not begin to wonder how they would rent a room that is in this condition. A/C did not work, toilet seat was broken, cabinets in the kitchen would not shut and would open, table in room was lopsided , walls were dirty, shower had no water pressure. the door jam looked damaged like it had been broken into several times. The pictures posted are nothing like how the hotel looks like. We had booked 3 nights we checked out after the first night because we had arrived too late and couldn't change in the middle of the night.

This place was pretty terrible, had to switch rooms after getting to mine because the water didn’t work for the shower and it wasn’t the room they described in the description. After switching rooms, my new room had cockroaches, no windows or view and out of all 5 days there they didn’t do room service once. I had to go to the front desk and ask them to clean my room each day, and even after that they acted like it was a burden. The only cool thing was they gave so little care about the hotel you could bring guests and pretty much do what you want because they were so inattentive. I wouldn’t stay here just to save a few bucks, unless you get a decent room the first time around. Good

The pictures does the property no.justice its run down rooms look like you are staying in a brothel. They did not have wash clothes, no ice machine. It was just a place to sleep and go. I was so uncomfortable that i slept on the couch because of the lax in security. I traveled by myself and i was very disappointed in the hotel. The restaurant opened at 3 and the dock was raggedy. This needs to be taken off the sight until updates to the hotel are up to standard.

This is my third time staying here and I couldn’t be happier. It’s a great place for a reasonable price - good location (short walk to a great beach, restaurants, and shops), clean, comfortable rooms, and nice staff. I plan to continue staying here. It’s not a luxury resort, but if one is looking for a safe, clean, pleasant, place to stay in a great location for an affordable price, it’s perfect.

Las instalaciones se observan deterioradas y sucias, el desayuno, sin proteínas nunca tuvo jamón, ni queso, ni huevos, solo pan con mantequilla, mermelada, cereal, leche jugo y cafe americano, en mi habitación el inodoro y el lavabo estaban tupidos, el último día al hacerme la habitación no tendieron las camas, no botaron la basura del baño, y no pusieron la toalla de manos ni la delante de la ducha, lo bueno que tenía, el aire acondicionado, el agua caliente, bien aunque poca fuerza el agua de la ducha, los turnos de la recepción buenos en general al igual que la muchacha de las excursiones

Budget hotel in expensive location

For the money in the location we got what we paid for I suppose. If you are on a budget and need a place to sleep it is fine. We walked across the street and found an entrance to walk on the beaches and spent the time there. Not sure if this is any every day occurrence but the next morning of our stay there was someone knocking on EVERY door in the motel at 9:30am, more than one time and I could hear her knock on every one else's door throughout the motel. Pool and great location make this a recommendation for anyone on a tight budget. We also only stayed one night.

The best part of the property was the staff. The upkeep of the hotel is horrible. The first room they put me in smelled moldy and the fridge was rusted all across the bottom. The second room seemed Okaye until I tried to use the outlet next to the bed only to find out it doesn’t work. For the remainder of the trip that power socket remained out of order even tho he tried to fix that at the same tome replacing the lightbulb that was blown upon arrival (the power source for the room phone was the socket by the bed needless to say we didn’t have access to that either). The sheets that were originally on the bed we had to get changed due to stains on them. When we went to shower the door had to b propped into place which I didn’t realize until after it flooded and got blamed for using too much water in the shower. There was also this leak that would sometime splash me while on the toilet, gross! There was still some rust on the fridge but in a more acceptable condition being we only used the fridge for water. Also for a few days it seemed as if something was possibly dripping in the wall by the a/c because of the noise that would come from the wall
The staff were very accommodating and would have found another room if one was available. At that point I wanted money returned, the pictures seemed so much more promising then what was delivered.

No running water?

Staff was nice; price was right; location convenient. I didn't have too many expectations of a two-star. I did, however, expect to have running water. Two of the seven days, I did. The next five, though, ongoing construction at the hotel caused them to turn off water to the shower. The sink and toilet were hit and miss. At first, desk staff claimed firefighting efforts had tapped local water supply, but it was obvious that plumbers had cut off the supply.

Location was perfect! Everything that you need is within 2-5 kms away - beach, food, shopping, gas station, bus stop and night life. So, if you're planning to explore Cancun area and you don't have a car, then I would recommend this place for it's location. Downside is the property needs a serious update!

You get what you pay.

We arrived just for an overnight stay. We booked 3 rooms in this residential area hotel. There was no indoor parking and the outside parking was lacking. We found the personnel at the reception desk lukewarm. In one of our rooms we found an uninvited guest by the name roach. We were forced to sign an agreement if we damaged the unsanitary TV remote control and air conditioner remote we would have to pay. We departed the next morning. However, we forgot an expensive pair of headphones. After we realized this we were too far away to pickup. Inasmuch as we were scheduled to return for our departure, we figured we would get them then. Well, we cancelled our return to this hotel but went to pick up the headphone. The hotel staff claims the headphones were not found. Between the lack of parking, the reception welcome, the uninvited roach guest, the remote control and the lost headphones, I can say we cannot recommend this place. This is a perfect example of you get what you paid for. Never again

No pool, no parking, and the hotel stinks. You can hear everything because the walls are paper thin.
