I was very impressed with everything at that hotel. Sadly I do not really remember names but you can probably find out who was there when I checked in and checked out. Anyhow everyone was absolutely wonderful. So helpful and accommodating. I also love the location. I'm an old lady and can't walk very much but I really appreciate it being so close to restaurant, convenience store, and in particular that great big Supermarket which I absolutely loved. Thank you so much and I certainly will recommend this to anyone.

I had a great experience staying here. The service was excellent from start to finish—staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.

I haven’t stayed here since 2023, and I was really impressed with how much they’ve upgraded the hotel. Everything feels refreshed and well taken care of, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

This is my go-to place whenever I visit Cancun, and they continue to deliver a consistently great experience. Highly recommend!

We stayed for 10 nights and found it hard to get maids to clean our rooms unless we requested they do so by going to the the check in area located in the main lobby. I dont know if they were short staffed or what but they wouldnt stop and clean our rooms unless we made a big fuss about it. The unlimited alcohol was great but a couple of the bartenders would say they were out of certain drinks when in reality they weren't. They just didnt want to go the extra mile to clean their equipment several times to please everyone's different requests. I caught one bartender tell the other bartender "what do you mean we're out of vodka, we have plenty here". Location was great. There's Chedraui next door as well as a beach across the street and all the clubs you could want within a 5 min walk.

I recently stayed at this hotel for two days, and overall it was a decent experience—especially considering the price.
The biggest highlight is definitely the location. It’s in a really central area, right near Coco Bongo, which makes it super convenient for nightlife, restaurants, and getting around the Hotel Zone. If you’re looking to be in the middle of everything, this spot is hard to beat.
That said, the amenities were pretty limited. There weren’t many options available, and the coffee area in particular felt lacking—very minimal supplies, barely any milk or extras. It didn’t feel like they put much effort into those small touches that make a stay more comfortable. There’s also no gym on the property, which might matter if that’s something you’re looking for.
The overall vibe of the hotel felt a bit on the cheaper side, but not in a bad way—just don’t expect anything luxurious. The property itself was in okay condition, nothing impressive but not problematic either. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable, which definitely helped make the stay more enjoyable.
Bottom line: it’s a solid budget-friendly option in a fantastic location. Great if you plan to be out most of the time and just need a place to sleep—but go in with realistic expectations.

Room was clean, with basic amenities (mini fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, body wash/shampoo/conditioner in shower, body cream and hand soap in bathroom. Free open bar from 9 am to 9 pm. Nice rooftop view, with pool on rooftop. If you want pool towels, ask the reception. Check out at noon. Well located.

Everything was okay however room was very cold and thermostat would not work. Maintenance came but still did not work. He provided an explanation quickly in Spanish and left. Also television was not working and a fellow came to hook up a connection then it worked fine. We had to shut off thermostat for the night to get a degree of warm comfort. However, despite what we encountered, we did like the hotel, free breakfast and its location. I would stay again.

I recently stayed at the hotel Aloft Cancun and had a genuinely great experience from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, the staff specifically the hotel manager Mario made me feel valued right away. Everyone I interacted with was professional, friendly, and quick to help with any questions.
The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was especially cozy, and I appreciated the small details like fresh linens, well-stocked toiletries, and a quiet atmosphere that made it easy to relax. Housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work.
The location was another big plus — convenient to restaurants, shopping, and local attractions, while still feeling peaceful and safe. The amenities were well-maintained, and everything functioned exactly as it should.
Overall, the Aloft delivered excellent value for the price. I would absolutely stay here again and would confidently recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great service.

The stay was terrible! We checked out a day early. I reserved a king bed ocean view room. That is not what we were given.
Furthermore, there were all sorts of problems with the room — toilet not flushing, shower not draining, non working safe. And the condition of the room…. At the very least a fresh coat of paint.

The “rooftop bar” is a joke. Not at all a rooftop bar. 8 lounge chairs & a couple sitting chairs on a cement slab are hardly what one would call a rooftop bar.

I made management aware of all the issues and yet did nothing! They even admitted room 408 is a terrible room… and yet nothing.

The room's temprature was unable to be regulated. It was very cold throughout the stay and we were told that there was no heater in the room. Maintenance came into adjust the fan but the room quickly turned back to being cold.

A Convenient Hotel for Shopping and Excursion

This hotel was located near a big supermarket so that we could buy everything we wanted. Its very convenient for us. It was easy for us to take a bus to downtown because the bus stop was in front of the hotel. They gave us a welcome drink. We spent lovely days here.

Air conditioner did not work when we got in the room. They tried to fix it. We went to dinner and came back three hours later and it was hotter in the room than it was in the hallway. They didn’t want to move us until I asked for a refund. They said they had no more rooms and miraculously they found one. We never stay there again. And they offered no compensation and it was a big problem. Had to move all our stuff at 10 o’clock at night. We left the next day.
