Fiquei hospedada por 3 noites juntamente com minha filha e fiquei querendo mais. Na chegada fomos muito bem recebidas, check in muito rapido e como o quarto que selecionamos ja estava esgotado, cordialmente nos deram um up grade para um lindo quarto, frente para o mar. Uma vista perfeita. A praia é linda e sem ondas, as comidades em frente a praia atendem bem e as piscinas e bares tbem atendem muito bem. Basicamente usufrui apenas do restaurante O e gostei de tudo, variedade, sabor, atendimento. Aliás, achei todos os funcionários muito atenciosos. O hotel fica em uma região privilegiada, proxima a bares, restaurantes, supermercados, farmácias, lojas de souvenir, casas de cambio etc. Da pra andar a pé tranquilamente. O hotel é lindo, moderno, organizado, limpo e muito bem localizado. Excelente custo benefício. Se retornar a Cancun facilmente o escolho novamente

My family chose Krystal because of the location where it is located at one of best beaches in Hotel Cancun zone. We knew from the review not to have high expectation that we normally receive when we travel to five star hotels or even four star hotels. Having said that, we still were disappointed in the quality of food, but most of all, it was service that disappointed us. some staff were courteous and kind but some were very rude to a point we never experienced in Cancun area. The hotel management should look into managing some of their staff better. good hospitality goes a long way...

I'm not usually a picky eater, but the food was definitely not great. Poor selection at buffet. Didn't restock water in our mini fridge even after calling. Didn't replace towels in our room. No hot water for 2 days. Not enough beach chairs.Jose the beach waiter was great as was the beach, but will go elsewhere next time.

The first room we had was very musty-smelling. To find out, the filter in the room was caked with mould, and a back piece behind the coffee machine came off, which was also mouldy. We asked to change rooms, which they accommodated the next day, not the same day, but it did not have light in the main sleeping area, so it was dark. It took a bit to get a lamp sent to the room. There was not much for young kids to do. They had 1 small kids' playground with 2 small slides, 1 swing, and a small climbing section. The hotel has some evening events that get loud and go until 10 or 11, and the hotel's echo carries them into the rooms. We were on the 11th and 6th floors, and it sounds like you are on the main floor. The pools were ice cold the ocean was warmer. These are some of the cons of this place. The Pros. The food and staff were great. Being right on the beautiful beach is super impressive. Being within walking distance of restaurants and shopping is charming. Only a 5-10 min taxi ride to the mall and aquarium. If you are going without kids, this is a decent place to go.

The customer service is terrible. The waitress get bothered easily when asked for simply things as utensils. The lobbies have a horrible aroma that comes out continuously from this machine, very strong and bad air freshener. The mattress need to be replace as they have no support or cushion. This was my second time staying here. Definitely not coming back here again.

Food was mostly awful, sad to report for this hotel to be in Mexico and not have authentic dishes is very sad and no shrimp. The grill should change its name, not really any grilled meats. French restaurant was ok, the escargot not so much, it was over cooked. Expected more from a taqueria and not just a selection of 2 meats. We stayed in the Altitude and I will not go back, not worth the money.

I am writing this review after a deeply frustrating stay where nearly every fundamental aspect of hotel service failed. This was not about a single mishap, but a cascading series of neglectful issues that made our stay stressful and unacceptable.

Here is a summary of our experience:

· Check-In & Room Readiness: We arrived to find our room was not ready. When we finally gained access, it was clear it had not been properly prepared. Most shockingly, we found a previous guest's prescription medication still inside the fridge. This is a serious breach of basic cleaning and safety protocols.
· Chronic Understaffing & Neglect: The theme of our stay was being ignored. The mini-bar was not refilled for two full days. For a group of four, only one towel was provided. We called for extra towels and waited 40 minutes with no delivery. A second call resulted in a total wait time of over an hour for a simple request that should take minutes.
· Restaurant & Dining Issues: The on-site restaurant was consistently overbooked, making reservations impossible. When we did dine at the grill for lunch, the service was unacceptably poor, matching the overall theme of neglect felt throughout the hotel.

Mi estancia tuvo aspectos positivos: la ubicación es excelente, las instalaciones son muy limpias y el servicio del personal, en general, fue muy bueno. Además, el restaurante de ceviches, el snack y el bar de la alberca estuvieron exquisitos y ofrecieron una experiencia mucho mejor que el resto.

Sin embargo, el check-in fue un completo desastre. Esperamos 1 hora y 42 minutos, y aun así la habitación no estaba lista. Terminamos recibiéndola hasta las 3:15 pm, después de hacer otra fila y esperar 38 minutos adicionales. Muy mala experiencia para empezar unas vacaciones.

Los restaurantes principales fueron incluso peor. Tuvimos que esperar una hora para obtener mesa y luego 42 minutos para que nos atendieran. La comida llegó fría y, en mi caso, incluso cruda. Le comenté al mesero que la carne no estaba término medio, sino cruda; se la llevó y la regresó igual. El puré de papas que acompañaba el plato también estaba frío y con mala consistencia. En el restaurante The Grill la espera fue menor, pero la comida volvió a llegar fría, y los tacos dorados no tenían nada que ver con lo esperado.

Es una lástima, porque anteriormente me había hospedado en el otro hotel Krystal y la experiencia fue muy buena. Esta vez elegimos el Krystal Grand pensando que sería aún mejor, pero ocurrió lo contrario.

Espero que tomen esto como una crítica constructiva, porque realmente tienen puntos fuertes, pero deben mejorar urgentemente la organización, tiempos de espera.

My stay was at the Altitude which was supposedly their luxury class. The room was bare, no table clock and even though i booked a king sized bed. I was given a room with two doube beds. The staff were disorganized and uncordinated. There's no room service menu even on their app. And the food choices were nonexistent. For a hotel that touts luxury on their website, this is the worst hotel ive ever stayed in. I don't recommend this and will definitely not be staying there in future.

Second time staying here but never again.
Only good thing is the location, Ramon at the front desk was possibly the worst/ most rude receptionist I’ve ever dealt with. Before we even checked in, he had basically already ruin the trip.
He was very rude, we arrived at 10am and attempted to check in early, willing to pay the $150 for early check in. And he said that was not an option for us, and basically told us to just come back at 3pm because they will not get our room ready before then.

The staff was great! The beach and views were spectacular! But we upgraded to a suite and some of the lights didn’t work, patio door wouldn’t lock, and the air conditioning didn’t seem to work much. And the fan only had one speed - hurricane (much needed however given the air conditioning). We dont regret upgrading given the additional amenities it provided and the mentioned inconveniences didn’t by any means ruin our trip - but they were inconveniences.

Hotel is barely a 2 stars hotel. Starting with the elevators they are supposed to have 4 but only two work properly. Also, when you check in they say they have 6 restaurants, that’s a lie they only have two “specialty restaurants “ for dinner and impossible to get a same day reservation. Only one bar for whole facility. Buffet restaurant is too small and you have to make a big line every time you want to eat. Hotel does not have A/C at the lobby/bar area. Property conditions are poor, hotels need maintenance and remodeling. Only two pools and very difficult to get sitting there. I won’t recommend this property for future staying.

The quality of the service was really exceptional. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to help. The food was delicious and the swimming pool was great. The downside is the quality of the facilities. The tower is old and although the entrance atrium is really nice, there are a few things that are outdated. For instance, the elevator is slow and really hot inside. The conditions in the room were also not great. The air conditioning worked well (thanks god!), but they have a few minor items that were either run down or broken. For instance, the main large mirror had desilvering all around (black regions and spots), the lift rod of the drain stoper in the sink was broken and a few other minor things.

The bottom line is that this is a great place with exceptional works and nice environment/vibe outside the room. However, if you want a luxurious room, then you will be disappointed. In any case, I highly recommend this place.

I have stayed at several properties in Cancun and this hotel is okay at best.

Room - The beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable and the AC did not go below 74 degrees. We even had maintenance come look at it. We had issues with the shower draining and the toilet constantly running that maintenance looked at as well. When we would have house keeping done - we would get 3 towels (3 people in the room) but no floor mat, hand towel or wash clothes. We would have to call daily asking for more.

Restaurants - We felt like this was deceiving because not all of the restaurants are open daily and you must make reservations ahead of time for them, aside from the buffet. The food at the restaurants was okay/decent. The buffet was not good at all with very limited options. The smallest buffet I’ve seen at an all inclusive. At the buffet it was very hard to get simple things like water, coffee, maple syrup, etc.
Also, the cafe does not do any coffee flavors/syrups and bars are not open until 11am.

Grounds - Very dated hotel. The elevators are extremely hot and slow and the pools are just okay. They are pretty small.

Staff - We had overall great experiences with staff. Kevin, Fernando and Pedro just to name a few.

Overall, this hotel is not worth what we paid and we had to make the most of it.

Me hospedé recientemente y la experiencia fue muy buena. La ubicación es inmejorable: playa limpia, agua cristalina, sin sargazo y muy cerca de la zona de antros, bares y restaurantes.

Las instalaciones son decentes. Las albercas están muy bien cuidadas y la zona de camastros es cómoda, pero el hotel en general luce algo antiguo. Las habitaciones estaban limpias y tenían aire acondicionado, aunque en las áreas comunes no hay, lo cual puede ser incómodo en horas calurosas.

El servicio fue excelente, todo el personal fue amable, servicial y siempre al pendiente. En especial Rosamaría, la concierge, quien nos atendió con un trato impecable y cálido durante toda la estancia. Se nota que les importa el bienestar del huésped.

La comida del buffet fue regular, con opciones algo repetitivas, pero los restaurantes de especialidad sí mejoran mucho la calidad. Lo negativo fue el sistema de reservaciones: habíamos apartado una cena en el restaurante italiano, pero nunca nos informaron que estaría cerrado ese día, lo que nos obligó a repetir cena en el mismo lugar y llegar sin reservación, lo cual es incómodo.

El ambiente es relajado, cómodo y seguro, ideal tanto para parejas como para familias. Entre semana se disfruta más, aunque el fin de semana hay más gente.

En general, una buena opción con excelente atención, gran ubicación y un ambiente muy relajado. Con algunos ajustes en su logística y mantenimiento, podría ser fácilmente una experiencia redonda. ¡Gracias por recibirnos!

Ceiling started leaking all over and when called front desk to let them know we were advised someone will be coming up to check the issue someone came an hour later and he did not speak a word of English he left and came back and placed a bucket in the middle of the room and they never came back to fix the issue. Let the front desk aware again and we got no help at all. Ac barely worked. Hot water issues. No one was helpful or better yet wanted to help resolve any of the issues we were having! We had 4 rooms booked it was awful. Elevators had no ac at all either. The resort definitely went down hill. No pool activities or entertainment. The list is endless of all the dissatisfactions.

Overall the experience was enjoyable. One major downside was the elevators. One of the elevators was out the entire week we stayed. There should be more elevators considering there are 13 floors and the resort is pretty full. Getting up and down to our rooms was more times than not difficult. There often was quite a wait and the elevators were hot and full.

I paid for a deluxe room with a king bed and an ocean view. They gave me a terrible room with a pool view and two beds. It was dilapidated. After waiting for two hours, they gave me a deluxe room, part of which barely had a view of the ocean. It was my birthday. They ruined my celebration. I swear that this is the last time I choose this very bad hotel.

I had a terrible experience with this place. Despite having prepaid for my reservation, they tried to overcharge me when I arrived. When I asked to speak with the manager to explain the situation, he was completely dismissive and showed no concern for the stress this caused me. He had no interest in resolving the issue and was only focused on charging me extra. In the end, I was turned away without any assistance or proper customer service. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Older resort. Elevators had no air. Needs new bed. Beds were awful. Restaurants food wasn't bad. Pool area food was great.

June 14-18 / travel for pleasure - 2 adults All inclusive.
this is my experience = i would like to share that I am very generous, tipping everyone.. this resort was a WASTE OF MONEY 👎 WITH SO MANY OTHER HOTELS TO CHOOSE FROM, YOU WOULD THINK THEY WOULD DO BETTER.
1st off : Very, Unwelcoming staff upon check in, not friendly, Elevators are very SLOW - +, NO AC in elevators?/ you're in a hot box, extremely slow elevators & it was not busy. The room Tv or Toilet was not working- shouldn't these things be tested before issuing room to a guest?
Buffet was low quality food, my companion got sick after eating buffet food / violent vomiting on Day 1. A doctor had to be called for the severity. Then they charge $8 for Room service ? Even though you have all inclusive, and you're not allowed to bring your own food to the room?
Seating in buffet restaurant again it was not crowded or busy, we request a table by the window.As we are on vacation and we like the view of the ocean, with over ten empty tables, they told us that we can only sit at a table that holds two chairs!? Also calling the front desk to report these various things. The phone would ring and no answer. When I did reach someone i would be transferred around several times. I did speak with a Guest Services Manager \"Grisselle\" who was very nice to speak to but, nothing changed, as my stay was very disappointing.
Outdated hotel & features.
