I LOVED the day and night activities & the food wow! The personnel were attentive and helpful. The photographers gave us a great experience to remember. Kudos to Abraham, Citalan, Christopher, and Ana from the Elements Buffet (Amazing food!) Also, Danae and Adan he photographers - so sweet both! Loved the vibes team - Mariana was great. Also, Adan at the gym and his partner who gave a yoga class wow! Amazing people! The restaurants and Insomnia amazing! One thing I didn’t like was getting bombarded to purchase excursions as soon as we arrived, tired, dirty, and not even get to our rooms.

And the vibe was a good time. This was my 2nd stay and I plan to return again. My room was super nice. Being able to look out at the ocean was everything.

Nice resort, friendly staff. The food was terrible. Can't utilize the beach because of sargassum, which obviously they can't control. Drinks were not great which is to be expected at an all-inclusive. Don't stay near 4th floor or expect to be listening to loud music at night.

This was my first all-inclusive resort experience, and it was amazing. The property was very clean, the staff were kind and helpful, and room service was quick. The breakfast stood out as genuinely excellent. The only downsides were the elevator, which seemed to stop at every floor, and the food overall being just okay outside of breakfast.

My stay at the Royalton was lovely and the staff were really helpful while there! If you are looking for fun and relaxtion as one, I would recommend. Upon leaving though, I have been trying to get in touch with someone since my refundable deposit still has not returned. I called and was then transferred back to the operator. Billing and accounts department has a full VM so there is no one to help. Again, loved my stay but it would be great if post travels, they had better communication.

Stay was good and everything was good. Only 2 things I would say needs a little work is the room service food which was way more different tasting than the buffet food. Room service food needs to be worked on because at times I just wanted to relax in the room and eat but I tried a lot of food and the burger was the only thing I could really order because the pizza would be hard, the potato chips were very hard and the burger was decent because of the sauce and the patty size was a bit inconsistent but other than that, all was good. Second thing would be some bar tenders kinda ignored me and my friends sometimes. I can understand if they were busy at times and never thought much of it but it happened to 3 times at the main bar that the bar tender would look at me and my friend but choose to go to new people instead even though I would tip decently. Other than the little bar issue, service was good

The room was clean and tidy. We do not have really good experiences with the staff. Some of them were really rude. Wouldn’t answer our questions. The food was not that good. I have had best at other locations and it was the same thing every day and what you had for breakfast they would also hand out for a lunch, which honestly is dissatisfying. The only restaurant that we really loved was Hunter the steakhouse but even at that restaurant our waiter was really rude. when we arrived, we went to the sports bar to grab something to eat because we were really hungry. He sat there for about 10 minutes and nobody would come over to us until we called them over to take our order which I think is very unprofessional. we always leave tips everywhere we go and really good tips not 20 pesos like most people do, at this hotel unfortunately we weren’t doing that as much because of the way we were being treated.

My stay at Royalton CHIC Cancun was highlighted by two things: the amazing oceanfront room and the exceptional staff. I arrived around noon and had to wait a bit for my room, but a customer service agent took the initiative to check on its status and got me checked in as soon as possible. That level of care was appreciated. The oceanfront room was absolutely fabulous. Waking up to breathtaking ocean views every day was the highlight of my trip and made the stay unforgettable. While the pool area was nice, it was a little crowded for my preference. My only other concern was some of the food. However, after I shared my feedback with Guest Services, they went above and beyond to address my concerns and ensure I was happy with my dining experience. The true stars of this resort are the employees. A special thank you to Adrian, Alexis, Matthew, Angel, and think \"Abraham\" from the dinner buffet team. Their attentiveness, friendliness, and willingness to listen made a huge difference and elevated my entire stay. Because of the incredible service from the Buffet Dinner Crew and those unforgettable ocean views, I would gladly return.

Overall 2/5. The staff was amazing! The rooms were beautiful and clean. The pool with the hookah and cabanas were 10/10! The air conditioning is TERRIBLE. the room was wet and moist the entire time. Maintenance had to come three times. The food is 2/5 as well. Flavorless and the options were so small. Sodas were all flat. Deserts tasted like paper. If you leave the resort to eat, you will likely enjoy this place much more but as someone who enjoys staying on property…. I won’t be returning.

The communication prior to check-in was good. The air conditioning throughout the hotel was not functioning so well in the suite, many of the hotel restaurants and elevators were all very hot. Also, the elevators moved very slow and took a long time to request. The Spa was great! The rooftop service was great! Music and entertainment were great! Overall the property had a lot of wear and tear - lots of visitors in and out, a party hotel!

We had a fantastic time at royalton chic Cancun. If you want to party: you're covered. If you just want to hang out: you're at the right place. The entertainment was always high quality. Great live bands and shows.
We got to do a tour of the kitchen and they make everything fresh every day. They even bake the bread from scratch and grind their own burger meat. We stayed 8 days and never got bored of the food provided. Drinks are A+ and definitely not stingy with the alcohol.

Once you've been on the property for two days the staff knows you and your preferences. I had multiple servers have my favorite drink or food ready before I even asked for it.

What also stood out to me was that the staff is very friendly with each other. They seem to have a good work atmosphere which makes me believe that royalton is a good employer.

My only minor complaint is that I would have preferred less club or hip hop music and more EDM.

The resort itself is beautiful and the overall facility is nice, but there were definitely some downsides future guests should know about.

The biggest issue was the water. The shower and sink water had a very strong sewer smell throughout my stay, which was really unpleasant. Another thing to be aware of is that there is basically no air conditioning in the common areas — elevators, lobby, buffet, hallways, etc. The only place that consistently had AC was the room, so be prepared for the heat and humidity when walking around the resort.

Also, be aware when you arrive: there will likely be sales representatives trying to get you to attend presentations for their Prime Travel Club/vacation membership. It took up a large portion of my check-in time and felt more pushy than welcoming.

The advertised “$300 resort credit” is also a bit misleading. It’s broken up into small discounts for specific services and purchases — like $20 off here and there — rather than an actual usable $300 credit, so don’t expect it to function like resort cash.

As for the food and drinks, they were okay but nothing amazing. The best food I had was actually by the pool, though even that was just decent. Drinks were average as well. The spa is the most amazing amenity! It was probably the best part of my stay.

The location was excellent, and I really enjoyed the amenities the resort offers. The receptionists and luggage staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful, making check in & check out a pleasant experience.
What I didn't like:
For a \"luxury\" resort, the rooms showed noticeable wear and tear and could use updating. The food quality was below my expectations, and there were unpleasant odors in the room and especially in the hallway on my floor. 3/5

From the moment we checked in, we had to wait almost 2 1/2 hours before we couldn’t even get up to the front desk. They were taking other people before us that already had rooms, the resort did not live up to the standards that they advertise online my boyfriend stepped on multiple rocks that they didn’t sniff on the beach, cut his foot on a tile from the shower and the outside shower was broken with open wires freely visible. We were also scammed before we even got there by a fake Expedia customer service and took money off of my card. And the hotel staff failed to decorate the room for my anniversary when I tried to plan it a month in advance. The water in the shower smelled like sewage and gave me a horrific rash on my body. We felt very unsafe, even brush our teeth and had to use water bottles instead. The air conditioning wasn’t working in the hotel in the room. We’re not clean and so late in the day overall, the hotel did not live up to the standards that they advertise online. We were very disappointed and the hotel staff didn’t take responsibility and tries to point blame. Meanwhile, we witness several parties of people complaining about the same things that we were complaining about publicly.

Just got back from an amazing stay at Royalton CHIC Cancun and honestly, I had the best time. The resort is beautiful, modern, and super clean with gorgeous ocean views everywhere you look. The staff was incredibly friendly and made the experience even better, everyone was welcoming and attentive from check-in to checkout.

The food and drinks were great, the pools and beach were always a vibe, and the entertainment kept things fun day and night. Perfect mix of relaxing and partying without feeling overwhelming. Definitely a great spot for a girls trip, birthday, couples getaway, or just a luxury vacation in Cancun.

The rooms were clean and cool. The lights were a bit difficult to figure out but we did. The shower head could have used some tlc but it worked. Breakfast options were ok, the omelet station was the best part. The homemade rice at lunch was good. Dinner at the steakhouse was really good. Cloud 9 was a true disappointment and they actually charge, it's not worth it. The massage was good and the hydrotherapy was 10/10. The Diamond club gives you the best options on drinks. Having a butler was nice as well. 24 hr room service makes a lot of difference in the after hours. Not much entertainment but the resort is a short walk to taxi ride to many party options. I would visit again overall experience 8.5/10.

During check-in, we were greeted with drinks, which was a nice touch, but shortly after sitting down, it felt more like an upsell experience. No one offered to help with our bags, and there were two glass water bottles in the room with a filtered water dispenser outside, but none of that was explained to us — we had to figure it out on our own. We also got locked out of our room multiple times, and the seaweed definitely affected the beach experience. The elevators are very slow and humid.

Even with those issues, I was still able to enjoy my birthday. The bartenders were very nice, the restaurants were decent, and the rooftop parties were a lot of fun. my room was really nice.

Honestly really loved this place. The reviews kinda scared me as they were mixed reviewed but I absolutely loved this place. I came here solo and ended up doing the diamond club because I didn’t want to end up in a party area too much but honestly didn’t use it much on the beach but i definitely felt the VIP of it. I had a butler who helped me so much book things, the staff was super friendly although I can see how it wouldn’t be amazing if you weren’t diamond club. The food at the buffet felt better quality than the restaurants tbh. I did the spa and it was delightful. I love that it’s somewhat of a party resort but it’s not too crazy it’s the perfect mixture. Definitely would come back again.

It was a party hotel which is fine if you’re up for that kind of thing, but if you want a bit of a balance, the Diamond Club is worth the extra to get a “slightly” quieter piece of beach and pool. My and the boys came here for our first all inclusive vacation and this place exceeded our expectations. We have so much fun. The best restaurants to eat at are Chopstick the Steakhouse, and the munchies poolside snacks. Luis was an amazing bartending that kept us entertained and laughing all week. Our butlers Gilbert and Daniel were also nothing short of amazing. I would recommend this resort if you like to make new friends, laugh, make memories and party a bit. This is more of a busy constant fun resort. We purchase the diamond club and enjoyed it. I don’t know if we would do it next time but our butler made reservations for us for all restaurants all week upon arrival, restocked our fridge, any questions we had all we had to do was shoot a text, you also get access to a different side of the beach and a different pool with the diamond club. The only thing that didn’t live up to our expectations was the rooftop bar and pool, we just didn’t use it much. This resort is also close to downtown hotel zone and safe walking distance, and lastly our check in and check out was smooth. I’d come back next week if I could.

I had a really great experience overall. The hotel was very clean, which is always one of the most important things to me, and the staff were consistently nice, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. Everyone I interacted with made me feel welcomed and taken care of.

I also treated myself to an 80-minute massage at the spa, and it was incredibly relaxing. The spa area itself was very clean and well-maintained, which made the experience even better. It was definitely one of the highlights of my time there.

The only downside for me was the restaurant reservation policy. I didn’t like that you had to be a Diamond Club member, which requires paying an additional fee, just to make reservations. Because of that, I ended up only eating at the buffet and ordering room service the entire time. While the food was fine, I would have preferred more dining options without having to pay extra. It just didn’t feel worth it to me.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay and had a great time, but I do think the dining reservation policy could be more inclusive for all guests.

This property is absolutely stunning! The views were breathtaking. The food was really good for an all inclusive resort. The breakfast buffet was one of my favorites. I had a fresh omelette with hashbrowns and bacon with a plate of some fresh fruit and it was delicious! My room was very clean and was big. The shower is also huge. There was always an activity going on so if you like to be busy, this is a good resort for you. They truly know how to party here haha. Fun place during the day. Night life on the resort itself could use some improvement. The rooftop club isn’t really included in the all inclusive. You need to pay for drinks or bottle service. Diamond club members get free drinks but it’s well drinks. I think that’s why a lot of people leave the resort for nightlife because they rather go somewhere where the nightlife will be lively not stay on the resort and have to pay for a mediocre club experience with maybe 60 people.

Almost everything had an up charge. I was disappointed to see that this property was asking for money on almost everything but advertising as all inclusive. For example, every restaurant charged for wine and had items on the menu for an additional cost. Also, all of the cabanas by the pool and beach were an additional charge. You have to reserve all of the restaurants and our first night there we were turned away by two because we did not have a reservation. They should reserve some seats for walk ins and not turn away paying customers. This is a terrible customer experience.
