Amazing service. They have 24/7 room service which was great. The staff was very helpful and always quick to respond. Great food options.

The rooms are a little old though.
The beach access from the resort is a small area comparatively.

We chose this resort expecting a luxury 5-star family vacation, but unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing.

Upon arrival, the air conditioning was not working properly and our first room was dirty, with visible dust and stains. We had to change rooms multiple times before being moved to an upgraded room. Even then, maintenance issues continued, including a toilet that frequently malfunctioned and a day with no hot water, forcing our children to shower in cold water.

We also had serious concerns about cleanliness. Room service food covers showed visible dirt and rust-like residue, and the bathtub jets had noticeable buildup. Each time we filled the bathtub for our children, black particles came out into the water.

Dining was another major disappointment. We arrived at a restaurant at 9:00 PM with our children and waited nearly an hour for three simple taco dishes. The order arrived incorrectly despite our request not to mix meat and cheese. When we asked for the meals to be corrected, we were told the kitchen was already closed.

For the amount we paid, this experience was nowhere near the standard expected from a luxury 5-star resort. Instead of relaxing, we spent much of our vacation dealing with room, maintenance, cleanliness, and service issues.

I would not return and cannot recommend this property based on our experience.

This place was AMAZING! Staff was super friendly! We enjoyed it so much that we stayed an extra two days. When we got here they upgraded our room at no charge! Our room stayed immaculate. Everyone was super helpful and friendly and the view was amazing. The only thing I didn’t like is that they don’t take discover card, and the ATM did not work so myself and another guest had to walk about 6mins away to use the ATM. But that’s minor. The food in LaYoya could have been better also, just looked like green vomit with a piece of salmon on top. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The atmosphere is peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a quieter vacation.

One thing to note is that the hotel doesn’t offer a lot of entertainment or nightlife activities on-site. If you’re looking for a lively party scene or busy evening entertainment, this may not be the best fit. However, it’s within walking distance of Coco Bongo and several other nightclubs, so it’s easy to enjoy Cancun’s nightlife if you want to.

The hotel is very family-oriented, and the kids’ club is fantastic—fun, engaging, and full of activities for children. The food was delicious, the facilities were beautiful, and everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained.

If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with excellent service, wonderful amenities, and a peaceful environment, this is one of the best places we’ve stayed in Cancun. We would definitely return!

The staff was great the food was amazing for a all inclusive but the hotel needs a major renovation, the rooms are stale and old. At some point you need to replace things and not paint over them. If I had a lot of kids and wanted to make sure they ate well this is the place, I guess I couldn't get over the age of the property.

Family Vacation at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach – May 19
We recently took a family trip booked via Expedia for 6 people, and overall it was fantastic with just a few tips for future travelers.

Flights:
We flew on American Airlines and amazingly got seats together on a basic fare, which is rare for a group of 6!

Transportation:
We reserved a private van through MTS for $100 round trip for all 6 of us. It was a short walk through the parking lot to catch the van, and service was pretty quick. We learned that tipping the driver helps expedite pick-up times.

Hotel:
The Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach is an amazing family-friendly all-inclusive resort. We splurged a bit on the Infinite Suites that feature two rooms (1 King, 2 Queens) which was worth every penny.

Check-in was smooth, and dinner reservations were easy to make in advance. The resort offers both oceanfront and pool areas, both stunning and very enjoyable. Pools are large with bars around every section, plus there’s an adult-only pool. Entertainment was top-notch—our family loved the water trampoline, hand treatments, and magic show.

Service across the resort was excellent, especially when tipping early and often.

Important Warning:
Do not drink the tap water! Some people told us to even watch ICE drinks and brushing your teeth using bottled water. Not sure how it happened but I ended up with traveler’s diarrhea for a week and had to take antibiotics. Be careful and stick to bottled water.

Had a horrible experience, the building is outdated and nothing like what's in pictures, i will not be returning, food was horrible in all three restaurants i visited, Ac leaking on my table while dining due to lack of maintenance,

took an hour and three calls to get a bucket of Ice. cold coffee. safe box low on battery. 50 year old shower head, too much to list!

Beautiful property, room was clean, spacious and a beautiful view of the ocean. A little remolding on the outside was going on during the time we were there...it was not distracting or loud at all. The staff was very attentive and respectful. Food at the restaurants were all very good and chef and waiters were accommodating to food allergies. The Spa was wonderful...so glad we splurged for the full experience at the Spa, well worth it! Will definitely go back!

A fantastic stay at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach. I highly recommend opting for the premium all-inclusive package, which offers an incredible value. Here is what makes this resort stand out:
Dining & Entertainment: Every restaurant exceeds expectations, and the nightly entertainment is outstanding—ranging from violinists and tango dancers to reggae and beautiful Day of the Dead shows.
Service & Location: The staff is incredibly helpful and respectful with local directions and things to see, free from aggressive sales pressure. You are also within walking distance of Cancun's main attractions.
The Beach: The water is so crystal clear you hardly need to scuba dive to see tropical fish. They swim right up 20 feet from the bar. I’ve included some video I shot with my waterproof camera to prove it!
Service Recovery: We experienced a brief issue when a water pipe broke, cutting off water for half the hotel. However, the maintenance team fixed the issue within a couple of hours. Management then went above and beyond by providing compensation and additional discounts.
Five stars all the way, and I will absolutely be returning!\"

My family and I had a fantastic time. Overall the property was wonderful and well taken care of. The rooms were spacious and well laid out. The pool area was great, with several options for swimming. The beach was fantastic and my young children enjoyed playing in the water and sand.

The food and drinks service in the pool and beach areas was great, we enjoyed being able to order food directly to our lounge chairs.

The restaurants were fantastic with lots of options for all meals.

The staff were all so friendly, helpful and accommodating. I was extremely impressed by how consistent the service was with all the staff. This was what made our stay so wonderful.

The kids club was a great option for keeping our small children busy while we took turns relaxing at the beach. The staff at the kids club were very nice.

Overall this was a great family friendly option and we would like to come back again.

This is an excellent hotel in pretty much everything apart from screaming children day and night. I've stayed in this hotel second time. Usually, humans forget poor experiences and remember good once. First night, a toddler screamed bloody hell from 1am till 4 pm. Second night the same thing plus they kept moving furniture whole night. If you can tolerate this issue, everything else is great.

My entire family was extremely pleased with this resort and we can’t wait to come back. The property was beautiful the beach was amazing and second only to the service that was provided. The gym was clean and all the machines worked, the pool was clean and the buffet was tasty every time we visited. This was a great family resort and we made so many special memories. Although the resort was overbooked and we had to stay at the Fiesta American Condesa a few miles away, the staff at the Fiesta American Coral Beach offered us a very generous compensation package which included a room upgrade and discount vouchers for a future stay. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and luxurious. It had an amazing view of the ocean. Immediate access to the beach. Restaurants options are both numerous and very high quality. I am absolutely looking forward to another stay at this resort in the future!

This is a great location if you have kiddos. Clean pool and really beautiful beaches. The infinite option was a huge perk that allowed us to have a fancy 7 course meal, private dinner on the beach and a jet ski rental (plus our own VIP beach). A few things that could use some updating:

1. Entertainment. Magic show and lip syncing dancers? Just kind of cheesy. But the water show and silent disco were fun!

2. More to go food options. The only options you really have 'to go\" are burgers, hot dogs and ceviche. It would be great to see some fresh fruit carts come by, and other lunch options by the pool.

Overall, we had a great experience at this all-inclusive resort. While the property itself feels a bit outdated compared to our personal preference, it definitely makes up for it in other ways.

The rooms are very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The front view is absolutely amazing and was one of our favorite parts of the stay.

One of the biggest highlights is the prime location—you can easily walk to major stores, restaurants, and even a flea market, which made exploring very convenient.

The resort offers several on-site restaurants, and we recommend making your reservations as soon as you arrive to secure your preferred dining times.

The beach was beautiful, and the water was very swimmable—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the ocean.

What truly stood out was the staff. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and approachable, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

We would highly recommend this resort and would definitely consider coming back!

We had the best 7 days at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach for Spring Break. We traveled with another family, and they were able to get us on the same floor. The property was clean, the staff was amazing, and the variety of food options suited us very well. We loved the Hibachi dinner best, although all of the meals were terrific. The food at the pool and beach was also delicious. When we travel again to Cancun, this would be our first choice of properties. A solid 10/10.

The staff is absolutely amazing. They honoring their way, everyday, to give you the best possible vacation. The food was excellent and there were servers on the beach as well. We loved the buffet, the restaurants, and the beach treats like hamburgers, fries, spring rolls and Casaer salad without even leaving out beach chairs! The rooms are all so clean, and spacious.
