Property looks older in person compared to the photos. Pools look old and fairly clean. One pool was drained. Food was not great and expensive. The big thatched roof restaurant was closed the whole time we were there. We didn’t do the all inclusive cause we don’t consume much alcohol if any. But the rooms look like they may have been updated and A/C was good. No complaints on the room itself.

My husband and I traveled for his birthday. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome from one of the guys at the front desk (who wore glasses, was young, and spoke clear English). He was the best and most honest person we met. At the swim-up bar and the pool, the guys wearing white shirts who served us very
Dishonest . However, the workers treated us very badly if we weren't leaving a big tip; they didn't want to serve us. If we weren't wearing an all-inclusive band, they didn't want to look at us. They were very dishonest because we didn't understand Spanish or their money value; they would tell us wrong prices until we started using a translator on our phones. Otherwise, the property is beautiful. For the reason we will never come back to Mexico.

I had a very bad stay here , the whole hotel and the pool are under construction. My room had a lot of ants and little flies . Even though my room door was left shut . The workers are very un helpful ESPECIALLY the worker named CESIR he was very rude, when I was trying to reclaim an item I had that was stolen at the pool area . I even have video footage recording the whole encounter and how rude he was. I do not suggest this hotel to any one . And the whole place has just stairs very minimal and accessible elevators .

Our stay at Emporio Hotel was wonderful. Although our first impression of the check-in area was not the best, everything changed once we started exploring the hotel and all the amenities it had to offer.
The Argentine and Italian restaurants were the highlights of our stay. The food was absolutely delicious. The buffet was also outstanding, with excellent quality, a wide variety of options, and attentive service. The easy access to the buffet and the many food choices available made every meal enjoyable.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Start from the reservation all inclusive and the check in was nothing inclusive
I pay everything there which is all the food and drink there
I called Expedia they said my reservation is front ocean room and all inclusive that’s my price but the hotel said nothing inclusive and it’s not ocean room
I checked in after 3 pm with the people is so rude to me
Never reserve with Expedia any more I pay in this trip more the $2500
And I wasn’t happy at all

It’s an older resort that is a perfect affordable option for families and anyone on a budget. The staff is friendly and the ocean is beautiful. My only complaint is the place can stay a little messy (we saw the same plate of dishes on the floor for 24 hours) but it doesn’t matter tbh. Just eat ceviche and enjoy the pool.

A/C didn’t work at any restaurant nor the Sport bar, extremely hot. We weren’t able to enjoy any FIFA match due to no A/c in sport bar. The room I had was the junior suite and was also hot. I wasn’t able to control thermostat. I complained to front desk but I don’t believe they sent anyone. The staff working there weren’t very helpful, no one knew where the rooms were nor the restaurants. The only positive thing was the food, it did have good flavor. Hotel shuts down at 11pm so if you’re a night owl like myself I wouldn’t recommend. I won’t be returning here, I don’t recommend.

When you paid all inclusive.

The Room A/C doesn’t cool & when it does the thermostat automatically turns itself off. The A/C’s are supposedly on, on All the restaurants but they’re hot & humid, in which you can’t enjoy your meal. The staff takes forever to bring drinks to you & also forget to bring it to you when you have “already ordered it”. They like to bring you the drinks (water) when you already finished your food. Food is limited, not much to choose, go buy dominoes across the street instead.

We paid all inclusive but it’s NOT all inclusive, they like to charge for everything, for example: the room mini bar, room service, the ice cream. It seems they like to cut cost by limiting everything.

Most pools are old & the safety bars are loose, it’ll be a good lawsuit for a Karen that’s up for the challenge.

Spend your hard worked money elsewhere, pay that extra $100-300 for another true all inclusive resort.

Overall worst “all inclusive resort”. Do yourself & your family a favor & look elsewhere.

Estoy sumamente agradecida con el gerente de Operaciones del hotel, Michel Fernández, ya que pudo ayudarnos con una confusión en nuestro paquete vacacional.
El servicio al cliente fue excelente. Nos sentimos muy seguras en todo momento, especialmente con los niños. El servicio de salvavidas fue de lujo; estuvieron muy pendientes de mi hijo, lo que me permitió descansar con tranquilidad.
La comida fue muy buena y variada. Alberto, manager de restaurantes; siempre estuvo atento a que estuviéramos bien atendidas. Y ni hablar del servicio de limpieza de las habitaciones: parecía que el personal nos conocía de años por lo detallistas y amables.
Sin duda, una experiencia maravillosa.

I am extremely grateful to the hotel’s Operations Manager, Michel, who helped us resolve a confusion with our vacation package.
The customer service was excellent. We felt very safe at all times, especially with the children. The lifeguard service was outstanding—they kept a close eye on my son, allowing me to relax with peace of mind.
The food was very good and varied. Alberto was always attentive, making sure we were well taken care of. And the housekeeping service was exceptional—it felt like the staff had known us for years due to their kindness and attention to detail.
Without a doubt, a wonderful experience.

All staff were nice and friendly , we didn’t do all exclusive but we did get 15% when we decide to eat there . We did adventure out and did a lot of sightseeing and they were able to help us reserved a tour for us which was scheduled 2days ahead. We also have ocean front view and we loved it and worth it. The adult pools were strictly for adults but they did have 2 pools for families and a kiddie pool for the toddlers. Every night at 8pm they have some entertainment schedule and that was fun to see and experience.

One of the main pools had been shut down for renovation since March and we arrived on June 1st. There was also one of the main restaurants shot down for renovations. The day after we arrived they were redoing the lobby as well. Although there were lots of renovations which limited some of our activities the staff were 100% attentive and amenable. We had a swim up room on the adults only side and unfortunately a few evenings while we were resting in our room we had others who took it upon themselves to sit up on our private patio and in our chairs. I suppose this could happen at any resort but we found it a bit annoying. The best thing I can say is the staff go out of their way to make your stay the best.

The room was clean as well as the resort as a whole, but it was a little rundown. It looks like it used to be a very nice property. I give it some grace because rundown doesn’t necessarily mean dirty, so it was clean, but it looked like they could use some upgrades and remodeling. There was no microwave in my room, and granted, that’s fine, but there has to have been a microwave somewhere on the resort, and they didn’t let us use it, and I think this was a ploy to get us to buy their nasty food via room service. I didn’t use the pools, but there was one pool that was closed. I guess for renovations and everything, that we ate through room service was mediocre. You probably could’ve made it better at home. We tried to book reservations at the two restaurants that they have on site, but the website said that they were booked and then wouldn’t allow you to make the reservation days in advance. When we brought this up to the staff, they said to just try again tomorrow, and we had the same issue the next day.

Absolutely one of the worst resort experiences I’ve had. The staff is rude, unhelpful, and nobody seems to know what’s going on. We waited forever for basic things like check-in, towels, housekeeping, and maintenance. The rooms smell musty, things are broken, and when you report problems, you spend HOURS chasing people for updates. This place looks much better online than it does in person. Save your money and book literally anywhere else in Cancun.

Overall, it was good. People are extremely nice, the facility is clean, and their rooms are what they show in the pic… But when it comes to the pool, from the three pools, not all of them were open, I guess because of the season also. Be careful when booking through the app since they will offer you a package for all-inclusive, but when you get there, most likely, they will tell you that you got a different package, and then that will be an extra for it. Also, they have a feed for room service (maybe my expectations were based on previous experience that I had from other all-inclusive where everything is inclusive and you tip if you want, but not that they will charge you a about 10 us or 300 pesos to bringing your food up every time you order). In addition, you’re not allowed to bring food out of the buffet.

I was over charged for my stay for days I wasn’t there. Management and booking reservations weren’t nice and threat that if leave would take days to get a refund or maybe never get my money back. The room’s shower has mold and didn’t clean, they even went to checked, one night were no towels and the back door wasn’t locked, was garbage under the bed and the tv table. On Tuesday late night I was sleeping and staff member knocked on my door. am not happy about it. It was way to stressful. When I supposed to have fun and enjoy my trip.

If you are heading to Emporio, make sure you are patient, as you will definitely have to wait a long time at check in. I waited standing in line 1h15min to check in (That's not a typo nor an exaggeration!), and it seems it is normal for this property. I booked an all inclusive via experia that seem to have disappeared, so i had to pay for it again, and my ocean view turned into a building view! Staff is always nice and super friendly, but the staff at the reception needs more help and need to get a lot more organized!

This hotel has very poor food quality and is much more expensive than expected for a 5-star hotel. I would honestly recommend staying at another hotel for this price.

The food was terrible, the glasses were dirty, and they even brought me a glass that still had red lipstick marks and someone else’s water stains on it. The pools were also dirty and not well maintained.

Visited May, 2026. This property is well maintained, the hotel grounds is clean, likewise, my room was clean with good amenities, I stayed in building C and had a partial sea view. The pools are well maintained and kids friendly. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Easy access to public transport and convenience stores are a couple minutes walk away. The food and drink were ample, the restaurant staff was very attentive and there was a wide variety of food, the taste was in the better side, I liked Fasano restaurant, the Italian restaurant was okay, but for me the Italian food had a little too much pepper, it was Italian with a Mexican twist, the hotel is on the beach, but the sargassum seaweed hinders the beach experience, overall I will stay here again, its good value for money and very kids friendly, its a good family spot

It's a lovely property with hard working, kind staff everywhere. My room was comfortably appointed as was the outdoor seating areas of which there were many options. Brunch at the on site restaurant was outstanding. The concierge was helpful whenever I had questions. The hotel staff handled minor errors quickly and my stay was enjoyable. I'd stay here again.

For an all inclusive hotel, the fridge was empty when we got there, there 4 of us in the family and the fifth day we were there they gave us one towel for everyone to use and it upsets me therefore I had to call the desk to request for more, they were nice enough to bring us some towels. also bottle water was limited, there was one day where they only gave us one bottle water therefore before we go back to the room we always ask for bottle water at the pool bar. Staff were great and friendly. Also food was always the same nothing different for breakfast , lunch and dinner (this is buffet) they only had 2 restaurants in the building. Another thing for families with kids, apparently kids are not allowed in the pool bar because the bar staff stated it is only for adults but when time came local people with kids were allowed to be in the pool and my kids were not therefore my husband was so upset and we thought that what kind of service is this. I didn’t know that they have this type of people working in this hotel. I wish we were told when we checked in that the kids are not allowed in the pool bar area so we know where we can place ourselves. Also another thing was , we didn’t know as well that to use the facility in the beach area like the cabana, you have to pay extra, those type of things should have been mention to us, so we are aware of what we need to pay or not to pay. We felt like we were all looked at all the time. It was uncomfortable to even chill anywhere where

Our whole experience at this resort was terrible and we will not be going back. Upon our arrival we checked in an hour early and they said our room wasn’t available which obviously understandable as it was an hour early, but then when we came back an hour later to get our room, it still wasn’t available so we walked out to the beach for another 30 minutes and then came back at their recommendation. The lobby was then full of a bus full of people, so we spoke with the concierge at that point about our room situation. He proceeded to tell us that our swim up suite room would not be available at that night due to it being overbooked but would be the following day for the remainder of our stay. We were very unhappy about this as we had booked 6 months in advanced and it was for our honeymoon. All the staff was very unfriendly and later upon talking to other Americans staying there, stated they were having the same experience with the staff, however the staff appeared to treat others differently. The only staff that was friendly were the security.
The room we booked had a pool attached to the rooms that was supposed to be adults only but frequently there was families with children in the pool and would often place their items on our patios and sit in the chairs. We specifically booked the room due to it being adult only along with the pool, again because we were there for our honeymoon. There were plenty of other pools and places for families to be on the resort.

Beautiful views and the service was excellent. Was a little shocked that the mini fridge was not stocked, room service was $15 fee and you had to rent the Cabana’s $41 a day. Our room was beautiful and everything was very clean. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was great.
The entertainment pavilion was closed down for renovations so we did not get to see any shows or activities that are normally held there.
Beach was beautiful and well staffed. We never had a problem finding chairs or umbrellas.

The sewage pipes emitted a terrible odor, and the pool water was so dirty that it caused us to break out in a rash. The food was the same every day, offering very little variety. The entertainment was not very diverse and was quite boring. The waiters and reception staff were courteous. The resort is not suitable for the elderly, as it features many uneven surfaces and steps.
