rooms were extremely clean. The staff was friendly. Swim up bar beautiful. Unfortunately there were many issues from day one. I planned everything in advance with concie. Welcome package to on beach massages. For our 20th anniversary. When we arrived the room was wrong there were two beds nothing was set up. 3 hours later the right room but everything that was ordered prior was wrong. I had allergies to the things that were actually provided. The staff that I had set everything up with wasn't there that day so everything was wrong. Which was very unfortunate because Ingrid had been amazing during the whole time. Then comes time for the beach massages. They were not on the beach. I get massages regularly at home but in Michigan it's not something I can get on the beach. So this was going to be a new exciting experience for our 20th anniversary. Which didn't happen. At the end of our stay they gave us a complimentary 20 minutes Beach massage to make up for it. Which was very kind, considerate but didn't really make up. but at least we had the experience. I have to say that they did try. By the end of our stay we finally got the welcoming package with everything that I had ordered. But as I said it was the end of the stay. At the swim-up bar it was very hard to get service unless you were a member or a local it seemed. I thought it would go by tipping LOL but that's not the case. The food was definitely lacking even in the restaurants that you needed reservations for.

Our experience was overall good. When we checked in the Front desk the man was very rude but the woman was very helpful. The bartenders and waiters were very good and attentive. The food was not very good I expected a better selection of food taste was not good. But the staff other than the check in person was great. Not sure if I will be staying at Royal Solaris again l, I have stayed at GR Caribe and it was better.

The room was decently clean upon arrival, but we experienced several issues during our stay. Our balcony hot tub didn’t work properly, neither the jets nor the light functioned. The toilet only half-flushed and essentially didn’t work for the entire stay. Despite submitting a request, the staff did nothing to fix it.
Throughout our visit, extensive renovations were taking place across the hotel, including new flooring, exterior painting, and light fixture replacements. We were not made aware that such a large portion of the hotel would be under maintenance, which significantly impacted our experience.
The staff were alright but often unhelpful, especially at the pool bar and buffet. At the buffet, we were frequently ignored, and requests for water were rarely fulfilled. While the buffet food is included, it was underwhelming compared to other resorts.
This was my third trip to Cancun, and unfortunately, out of all three resorts I’ve stayed at, this was by far the worst.

Pros: The staff was super friendly and attentive. I don’t think I’ve ever had such quick service at a hotel. The establishment was clean even during renovation project. Major points for being right on the bus line. You can literally jump on the bus for less than $1USD and it’s loops around the city with plenty of places you can get off and shop, eat good food, meet people from other resorts, visit other beaches or just pretend to be a local lol

Cons: You can tell this is a hub for selling timeshares or whatever vacation packages they’re selling. The people are nice but very aggressive sales people. Also the food sucks 😂 but I guess that’s expected with all inclusive food??

The food is not the great, they only have two restaurants and we couldn’t even get a reservation for either of them and we ended up having to find a restaurant out of the hotel to eat. The lunch is the same everyday not a great variety, the drinks are so sweet and slushy.

The front desk staff especially their manager is rude, we went to get massages (which were great and the staff was so nice). The same morning we were going to check out and we passed the check out time for 5 min and the manager wanted to charge us $60, after we explained it’s only been 5 mins and we just needed to bring our bags down she went to our room and made sure all of our stuff was out in less than 5 mins, extremely disrespectful. After we had explained we were getting Massages in their resort and consuming, and it was only 5 min. She continued to be rude saying who was going to be reposible for the time she was loosing with the room. Safe to say I’ll never stay here again.

We were very happy and grateful to all the hotel staff; they treated us very well. Our room was excellent, with a beautiful ocean view, very comfortable beds, fresh air, and everything was very clean. The food and drinks were 10/10. The pools are excellent and very clean. We had an amazing time at the Royal Solaris Cancún. The staff were great, the food was amazing. So many options at the buffet to fit everyone’s likes. They changed the menu every night to different themes. They also had many cooking stations where they made the food fresh in front of you (the omelettes in the morning that Edgar made were amazing!) The pools were clean and well maintained. There was quite a bit of seagarssum on the beach when we went but the resort cleaned it quite often. We don’t have kids but we noticed there were a lot of activities and things to do for the kids. There’s also a daily schedule with many different activities and shows to do throughout the day. Overall our experience was unmatched and we really enjoyed every moment of it! We will definitely be returning!

When we checked in the lady at front desk didn’t tell us about nightly shows at the theatre, we missed 5 nights of it. Our teens were bored wish we knew sooner. The people who book experiences, the gentleman was amazing. He helped us book on Sunday in the afternoon. He needs a raise.

We didn’t like the bed. Very uncomfortable left us with back pains. Pillows were terrible. Towels and blankets are very worn out. No robes in the bathroom. The property needs a Reno.
Pool staff were fantastic, they made the stay good. David at the bar was amazing.

Dinner Buffett was repeated several times and lacked taste. One waiter at the dinner Buffett was terrible. Seemed like he didn’t want to be there. He had a tattoo on his neck with glasses. Only wanted to wait on females. Manuel was amazing in the mornings for breakfast always offering extra, he needs a raise. Breakfast buffet was my husband’s favourite and Estefanie made the best omelets. I overall stay six out of 10.

House keeping was good. Resort needs more activities by the pool, not only Saturday and Thursday.

I don’t think we’ll be back to ROYAL SOLARIES BUT might try the Cribe.

The room was clean and they did room cleaning every day
The staff was friendly
The location was perfect and easy to transport from the resort and back
What we like is the everyday event and the activity throughout the day was so nice we had a Michael Jackson show, karaoke nights and a dance show which was so beautiful
The thing that we did not like about the resort was the food, I will rate the food from 3 out of 5
and they did use a special scents in the lobby which was very strong and made our allergy getting worse,
I asked them to turn it off and they did for one day and reused it the next day which was really bothering
they plugged them into the walls in the lobby area.

The property was outdated and some areas just not kept up with. Ok for budget all inclusive hotel. Food was just ok. No coffee shop (unable to use sister resort Grand Caribe). Very little entertainment, just not much to do in the evenings. Definitely nowhere comparable to other resorts we stayed at. Staff was sometimes giving conflicting or incomplete information which lead to avoidable stress during check out (for example, late check out needed to be requested by 7 am, app for dinner reservations not working for hours).

The hotel doesn't have much food. Every day pretty much is the same kind of food. A total of five people in our family, 3 of us had stomach issues after eating in two of the restaurants with vomiting and diarrhea symptoms. This is our first time having a late return flight after 4pm. I didn't realize we need to check out before 11am, so when we checked out at 12:15 they charged us 75 U.S dollars/per room for the late fee check-out. I am very disappointed with the hotel. Our first time here and also last. I have no plan to come back to this location.

The staff were friendly and did their best to assist, though they seemed limited by the hotel’s policies and available resources—something that reflects more on management than on the team itself. The food was decent, but not particularly memorable.

One downside was the strong push to become a timeshare member in order to access certain amenities, which took away from the overall experience. There were also several cost-saving measures that made the stay feel somewhat restrictive. For example, room service requires a $100 fee to use, and guests are limited to two bottled waters per day, with the expectation to refill at water stations. After spending time in the sun, having access to chilled bottled water would have been much more refreshing than room-temperature refills. Also, rooms had paper thin walls which made it difficult to sleep some nights hearing all the doors shutting or guest walking through the halls.

On a positive note, the staff did an excellent job maintaining cleanliness throughout the property, which was appreciated. However, other limitations stood out—alcohol service is restricted to 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., so enjoying something like a mimosa with breakfast isn’t an option. Additionally, there was only one coffee station available, which could be inconvenient during busier times.

Overall, while the staff and cleanliness were highlights, the various restrictions and policies made the experience feel more limited than expected

No issues with our stay. They are a green property and only provide two water bottles on the first night. After that you are expected to use your own cup to refill for water or ask for a cup of water. I had to purchase water bottles during our entire stay, had I realized this sooner I would have booked elsewhere. They do not have much of a selection on Mexican food. Transportation is only for club members. Aside from that, we did enjoy our stay.

This is a budget all‑inclusive, and you get what you pay for. The food was below average, and dinner reservations were nearly impossible unless you wanted to eat very late. We actually went into Cancun for dinner a couple nights, which defeats the purpose of an all‑inclusive. Surprisingly, the best food was the hamburgers at the pool buffet.
Drinks were disappointing—very sweet with little alcohol. The only reliable drink was a rum and Coke. There’s just one pool bar and one lobby bar, resulting in long lines. The pool bar closes at 6 PM, leaving only the lobby bar for the entire resort.
Rooms are outdated with rough and dingy towels and a rusty jetted tub (we didn’t use it), but the beds were comfortable, hot water plentiful, and AC worked great.
Big positive: the staff were amazing—friendly, hardworking, and always hustling.

The buffet lacks however for dinner was disappointing on choices but the lunch buffet was very good. I was disappointed in the lack of Mexican options available at buffet at other hotels we had much better. Pool was good just make sure to get up earlier to grab a chair the beach seemed to always have a chair to use

Overall the resort is okay. We stayed here for a little over a week. The pros: friendly staff, clean pool, great location, spacious rooms.
The cons: buffet food is bland, plumbing issues, getting drinks at the buffet is extremely difficult, constaly having to wait in line to get a burger or a slice of pizza, all drink are watered down and just feel like sugar water. Also, there is absolutely no good coffee or tea at the resort
After my experience, I would not recommend this resort to my close friends. However, it might be okay to some. Hopefully they improve in the future.

**Title: Great Stay with Friendly Staff and a Few Small Improvements**

My family and I spent 4 days in Cancun, Mexico at the Royal Solaris All Inclusive, and this was actually our second time staying here. We truly loved our stay. Our room was nice and even had a jacuzzi, which made it feel extra relaxing.

One of the best parts of the resort is the staff. Every staff member we encountered was amazing, friendly, and welcoming, which really made the experience enjoyable.

The only downside was the pool bar service. The bartenders were working incredibly hard, but there were only two of them and they were completely swamped. Because of that, you often had to wait quite a while to get a drink. They definitely could use more help there.

As for the food, the food served by the pool was the best in my opinion. I wasn’t a big fan of the dinner options and wish there were more choices, especially more American-style dishes. I also didn’t care much for the drinks because they were very sweet. It would be nice if they offered more American-style mixers.

Overall, we still had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again.

From the moment of check in after a long day of travel, the front desk pawns you off to a timeshare hustle.
The hotel is dated and multiple dispensaries such as water fountains and soda machine does not work.
The food is probably the worst I’ve experienced in Mexico and other all inclusive. The so called RSVP restaurants were no better and not to mention hard to schedule.
My son(13) who works out often was not allowed to use the gym even accompanied by me.
Staff had some hardworking employees per usual but many staff members were not interested in helping unless they got something out of it. Rooms were somewhat upgraded and kept clean(one of the few impressionable experiences).
Overall, the resort is trying to get by with the bare minimum in items and quality. I highly suggest staying somewhere else and spending the extra cash.

Staff was friendly, clean room, beautiful ocean view. Hotel located 15 mins from airport and on the beach. The two buffets were really good, nice selection of food. We were surprised that we had to ask for guacamole. Out of the three restaurants we enjoyed the Asian one the best. People put towels on lounge chairs early am to reserve and we had a daily hunt for lounge chairs. This shouldn’t be allowed. Beach was nice but water was rough. Lounge bar closed at 11Pm and had no ambiance. Only option to have drinks later than 11 pm was a five minute walk over to the sister resort’s sports bar/disco that was open until 1 am. Pathway to sister resort kinda sketchy.
No outdoor bar at night after pool bar closed, we were disappointed that we had to have drinks inside and the bar was closed at 1 am.

Room had a beautiful ocean view and housekeeping did a great job each day. However we booked a room with jetted tub on balcony and the jets did not work. We called to ask for it to be fixed several times, each time they would act like they knew nothing about it and then finally after 2 receptionist conspired behind the wall of reception for 5 minutes, they came with a video on a cellphone of water in a tub and said ‘see it works, they can show you how to use it.’ We had a good laugh.. we don’t need someone to show us how to fill a tub and push a button. But what do you know.. we returned to our room later that day and it was actually fixed.
The only thing good at the buffet was the Mexican coffee. Only able to get a reservation at the restaurants 2x in 5 days. Come to find out they make 2 of three available to guests at the sister resorts. And the times we did get in the tables were 80% empty. Not to mention the pool which was very over crowded (available to sister resorts as well) and impossible to get a lounge chair unless you go down the night before and throw a towel over them, which they say is against the rules yet EVERYONE dos it. We spent 7 hours at the pool one day and a row of chairs was held with someone stuff and never used, this needs to be fixed immediately. Did get some nice pictures but will not stay here again.

The layout of the resort and beach were beautiful. Clear water, clean beach.

The food and service were disappointing. The bar opens at 11am and closes at 11pm and often earlier. They seem understaffed, sometimes waiting for drinks at the buffet or I helpful myself to coffee because they never came.

The options at the buffet seem limited and hardly any authentic Mexican options. I saw guacamole once at the lunch buffet.

The resort seems clean, but outdated. Not many rooms with balconies available which wasn’t clear when booking. The railing on the balcony was wobbly.

The app wasn’t great and the restaurants often had availability when you go in person instead of using the app.

22 out of 32 people in our group got sick with stomach issues. I question the cleanliness of the glassware and some of the food, but the resort was able to accommodate a late checkout for a family with us that had a sick child, but only after providing all the names and room numbers of the people that got sick.

People in the Facebook group seem to have mixed reviews, perhaps members have a different experience. I wouldn’t book this resort again.

I travel to Mexico once a year and I had better experiences at other resorts.

There seemed to be limited amenities and limited à la carte options. It was very difficult to book the à la cartes as everything was always booked up but the restaurants did not look fully booked.

The resort kept running out of beer or wouldn’t serve until 11am and cut off was 11pm which was unrealistic.

FOOD was a 3 out of 10. If you care at all about food don’t stay here. My husband got food poisoning from the buffet omelet and so missed a whole da at the beach. Buffet isn’t open certain days so you are left to the snack bar by the pool which is worse than Golden Corral. The hot food is gross, we only ate fruit, salads and bread. Drinks would make it to us when we were done eating. The outdoor pizzeria is decent but only open on certain days. Some days there was no coffee at the lounge/coffee bar area.

BAR, only 1 bar and the line is usually long to wait for a drink. The blended drinks are the worst we have had.

ATMOSPHERE was all about the pool party. So if you like to party at the pool then this is for you. They do a lot of activities for guests at pool area.

BEACH was a 9/10. Clean, beautiful shallow area for swimming, boogie boarding, snorkeling. There are some large boulders at some of the shore line to break waves so you can’t swim there obviously. We stayed on the beach all day everyday. No waiters serve the beach area. No umbrellas or shade at beach just FYI. You have to grab and carry your chairs out to the beach.

ROOM was very clean, we were on floor 1 facing the road/dock. Bathroom was nice, beds are good. We had a jacuzzi tub on our balcony which was nice. There is no conditioner in the shower supplies, only shampoo and soap. One night we awoke to hammering at 12:30am.

We will not stay here again and DO NOT recommend.

We stayed for 10 nights at GR Solaris Caribe celebrating our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience.
The newly renovated hotel has a lovely Greek-Mediterranean vibe—designers did an excellent job.
The service was exceptional, staff is very kind, and the food was excellent. Thank you for the special honeymoon treat—it meant a lot.
Carlos at the deli and Andrew, the yoga instructor, were outstanding, and housekeeping was impeccable everyday.
Special kudos to the chef at Bogavante for an outstanding menu and dinner.
Breakfast also offered a great variety of options and place was very lovely.
We highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway.

Overall, the room was nice, the pool and the amenities no complaints there. The food was not the best, even though I don’t expect high-quality at an all-inclusive resort. It was a little bit subpar. In my opinion. Staff was really friendly.

The room was very clean food was good but seems that is the same food every day and gets tiring eating the same everyday. What I really didn’t like is that they pretty much force you to get a time share and I was told that the deposit that I gave for à lunch was refundable but they didn’t give it back to me.

In Marco Polo Ricky was fantastic he is the best!

Wifi is very slow. The reservation restaurant can’t access to the website. We stayed 4 nights but only can book our last night reservations at 9pm (only that available time on their app).

We went to the reception asked to helping for another the reservation restaurant and told her the reason why we can’t book. The lady on the reception said the price all inclusive we paid for ONLY ROOM and BUFFET (I still have the proof what she said). I am wondering what mean “ALL INCLUSIVE”.

After met the manager Maria, she said the policy resort “ALl INCLUSIVE” included for room, buffet and 1 compliment restaurant. Even though she helped us to book another reservations, honestly I am very disappointed and not happy at all.

We traveled 5-8 times to Cancun every year and stayed a lot of different resorts in Cancun but only this resort got that issue.
