For the most part, everything was OK except for the access to our room. They said there was stairs, but it was actually a very narrow spiral staircase, which was very awkward for suitcases. The mattresses was absolutely horrible and uncomfortable!!!

The building is quite nice except that it needs some upgrades. The bathroom, mirror, door and furnitures. The view is stunning. I love the over looking view of the ocean and pool.
The restaurant is also amazing. The staff are friendly and very accomodating. I also want to emphasize the cleaning. The housekeeping should be cleaning the rooms regularly. I should not be asking them to come take the garbage and clean the room. Also, fresh clean towela should be provided every day!

The toilet didn’t flush well and stopped up, requiring staff to come in and fix it. The timeliness of this very necessary service was over four hours, requiring us to go to the front office twice to get attention for the matter. The smell of sewer gas was terrible. Also, the property is undergoing some much needed maintenance, repairs, and upgrades due to its age. We were not advised that this was happening on our wing of the hotel, and we were disturbed by the noise and workers dangling from tethers right outside our windows. The furniture in the room was old and looked as though it came from a thrift shop.

Room smelled like sewage, bed mattress was super thin, pillows were very small, comforter on the bed was super thin, they didn’t clean the hallways or elevators at all the entire time I was there. The restaurant on property staff was not the best. Getting towels was not made easy. They need renovations!

I expected the room to be a lot nicer like the pictures show online, The building looks nothing like the photos. The rooms are rusty and gross, We had house keeping walk in the door while we were changing without knocking. And everyone at the restaurant by the pool will change the bill everytime you eat to be more expensive that it’s supposed to be. My husband and I left early and do not recommended.

Affordable,Room was okay, Clean and tidy, old building ,currently under renovation on some part. they clean the room everyday.It just that on our last day, The air conditioning were dripping with water and the floor was soaking wet. Good thing, staffs were there to clean it.They were friendly and approachable. The hotel have an amazing view of the beach.Easily accessible go there.They have massage area just go up to the restaurant.Can book also some tours but its a third party there office is inside the hotel.

This Hotel's facility, amenity is very poor.
Hot water doesn't come out from shower,
we took shower with cold water, also no Hair dryer, no tissue, no coffee maker, Door lock sometime doesn't work, Bathroom doorknob is too close to wall, I smashed my finger, evator is always out of service.

Also it passed more than 2 weeks from check out, but I still don't get refund. even reception staff checked our room when check out and he said ok.

Only one good thing is reception staff is nice and kindly. He tried help us.
If there is no staff like him, this is one star Hotel. Highly recommend to use other Hotel .

The room was clean. We had a balcony with a view of the beach and pool. House keeping was prompt. The facility is secure. There is a restaurant on site overlooking the ocean. It is on the bus route so you have affordable access to all of Cancun. There are several other restaurants within walking distance.

I’ll start off with the bad.
First night I was greeted by cockroaches in my room, there is only one restaurant and it’s overpriced for what they serve, No complementary water, the excursion packages were outrageous , I though we would get a better deal booking through the hotel and ended up paying $200 usd more then booking myself online ,the hotel didn’t reply to my shuttle questions so I had to book a private shuttle from the airport and the showers are cold.

On the plus side I liked the old architecture of the hotel, the beach is right beside the pool, they let us lounge around the pool after checkout to wait for my shuttle. I definitely wouldn’t book again but it was ok for four days.

Big thank to Gustavo and kudos to Francisco and Sanjay for really making this place going. We where checked in by young Gustavo who is a student, He is extremely competent and got the art of hospitality in his blood. We would have not stayed if not for his welcoming and handling all issues in a professional manner. Other than that, this hotel needs a real transformation beyond a face lift. Great location but no amenities, one restaurant only not that great and almost nothing except for AXXO convenience store close by. My advice to the hotel owners is to drop at least two stars changing it to one or two star apartment hotel only. Very misleading title.

Overall, I enjoyed the stay. The beach view was great and you could hear the waves from the room. However, be cautious booking tours through the hotel staff. I booked two tours with an employee named Gael and later discovered they were about $250 cheaper online. When I tried to cancel one (still more than 24 hours in advance as he had said was allowed), he refused and told me to speak to the manager, who was never available. Despite multiple follow-ups, no one helped, and after I left, the agency manager contacted me but stopped responding when I asked for an update on a partial refund. I recommend comparing tour prices online and avoiding the hotel’s tour agency.

All the staff courteous . The cleanliness of the room and surroundings is good. But the room given to us is very bad. The first night was ok, but i noticed right away that it could be a family room at times because there was a locked door leading to the other room. I could have asked for a change of room right away but didn’t bother. The following night, it scares me to death that it feels like somebody is trying to open my door and then people are starting to talk. And so it was, the other room got occupied. I dont know how i lasted staying in that room. The people talking on the other room feels literally like together with you in the same room. Really really bad!!

The rooms were clean, the hotel is by the beach which made it a good experience. It’s an older hotel so it’s pretty dilapidated but for the price it’s nothing to baulk at. I have no real complaints it’s like a clean motel by the water, not a gross motel, like a motel 6 of Cancun lol if you want a budget friendly beachside hotel, it’s cool. If you have the money to spend, get another that’s more updated. Also it requires a 100 dollar deposit when you check-in which you can pay cash, and expect the 15 minute room inspection at the end of check-out so don’t order an uber just yet.

The staff would not give us a second role of toilet paper, saying the cleaning personnel would give one the next day--this didn't happen. No water provided. No coffee machine in the room. Inadequate telephone service--told to use What'sAp, but never reception never answered our calls. Only one small bar of harsh soap provided. No service at pool. Positive: restaurant had good Mexican menu and good prices. Overall was quite disappointing.

The bar restaurant has amazing food, i loved the rooms, pool, and views. My only complaint is the beds are rock hard. They legit hurt to sleep on. But it's totally worth it to stay here because i love this place. This was my second trip and I'm going to come back in 2026.

First the staff at this hotel is very good, except for the moody server at the restaurant who wears a rash guard every day and has slight grey hair. He was in a bad mood every day... but everyone else was great. When we first pulled up and walked into the hotel both my wife and I thought...what a dump..looks like giant motel 6. This is probably one of the oldest/worst kept hotels in Cancun. The pictures they use to advertise this hotel are completely misleading. The hotel check in lobby has chips all over the wood and looked run down. The entry to the hotel looked like you were walking into an old Mexican bathroom. The walls were dirty, rusted, and paint pealing off everywhere. The floor and everything else looked like they hadn't been redone since the hotel was built probably 50 plus years ago. Our room had tiny stairs that looked like something a hobbit would have in their house, making it very difficult to get the luggage to the room. The toilet wouldn't flush for three days and you can't even flush toilet paper so your bathroom stinks always because you have to put poopy paper in your trash. The hotel doesn't even give you drinking water. You have to buy your own water. The brick around the pool has holes everywhere and is not safe to walk on. This place would never pass a safety inspection in the USA. No wonder why there are no Americans staying at this hotel. The decent restaurant, beachfront, staff, and good security are its only redeeming qualities.

The property is old, but it is maintained in working condition. However, there was construction or remodeling on one side, which made it noisy at times. The pool area has tiles that are very worn out and difficult to walk on. The elevator (only one is operational) shakes right before stopping, which is quite unsettling.

Overall, the property was clean and safe. Easy access to the beach area. Nice that there are side showers to rinse off the sand before returning to the pool area. This was a plus! The restaurant was nice with good food, but you have to pay directly and cannot charge it to the room. The laundry room was disappointing: only one of three dryers was working, and they charge $8 for a single wash and dry cycle!

For the price and location it's very hard to fault this place. Rooms and beds are clean and unlike other reviews no type of bags were seen.
This is an older beach front property with obvious signs of wear and tear but being worked on.
Staff was courteous and efficient. The restaurant is good and there is an OXXO across the street. As a frequent traveler ( 6 continents) I would stay here again when looking for a no frills and cost effective option.
You can't beat the pool and the views.

The property was extremely old. Water pressure in the shower was terrible, and sometimes the toilets would not flush. There are no curtains in the bathrooms, so everyone outside can see you. It was also extremely dirty; there were roaches all over the place, and I even found a tick on my bed. There were also small bees inside the room.

I rented three rooms at this hotel, and unfortunately, the experience was terrible from start to finish. One of the beds had bugs (possibly bed bugs or ticks), making it impossible to feel comfortable. The elevator felt unsafe, the floors were uneven, and I saw both dead and alive roaches inside the property. On top of that, there was loud construction during the day, making it very hard to relax.

Transportation services arranged through the hotel were another big problem — they were very expensive, the drivers showed up late, acted unprofessional, and overcharged us. At check-in, the hostess was unfriendly and impolite, which set a negative tone for the entire stay.

Overall, this hotel was poorly maintained, noisy, and unprofessional. For the high price and the fact that I booked three rooms, I expected a much better experience. I would not recommend staying here.

The worst stay of my life, first of all the room cleanliness was subpar and overall was not clean in addition the bathroom layout was terrible with the toilet being like 6 inches away from the toilet and the overall bathroom size being small which made it impossible to use it comfortably.

Now this is minor in comparison to what happened next was that someone from the hotel managed to steal 1400$ cash CAD from the safety deposit box which i had set a passcode to in addition to that a gold bracelet and a MacBook was also stolen from our room. And we have a police report to prove this. Now the passcode to the safety deposit box I had set and only knew about it so that meant that someone from the hotel had someway to override it and managed to open it up and steal cash from our locker. I have a police report to prove this.

After we had found this out and reported it to the front office the next morning the manager came and told us that there was no camera for the hallway and was still investigating but instead of trying to find who did this she came into our room and had the audacity to start searching our luggage and stuff like we were hiding it. Absolutely I would recommend this place to no one if you value safety of your selves book another hotel.

Other minor stuff included that the rooms floors are literally falling apart, the bathroom area in general was not clean with the shower drain leaching out smell in addition the bathroom had no ventilation.

El lugar esta bien para el precio, hay seguridad y limpiaban el cuarto todos los dias, necesite’ toalla y me la hicieron llegar, la comunicación con la persona en la oficina estuvo bien, pude hacerla atravez de WhatsApp y llamadas. El acceso a restaurantes y lugares esta cerca y la piscina y playa estuvo muy accesible también. Hay que hacerle algunos arreglos a los cuartos en la plumeria pq se tapa el inodoro, bañera y lavamanos fácilmente. Nos proveen con utensilios para comer pero no hay una parte para poder lavar los platos etc., todo debe estar separado, pero de lo contrario todo estuvo bien.

We stay one night, we have early flight, it took us 10 minutes to get to the airport, the hotel has a big parking a plus for us because we have a rental car, the room ok for what we payed, it was clean and has a good a/c. The hotel it's in a very good location, nice view of the beach. Definitely will be our choice next time that we have a early flight.

The pictures online are deceiving. Front desk service was not good. The beds are hard and small not for two people. No chair to sit in the room, floor wa dirty all the time i was there, microwave as so rusty inside and had electrical issue. No comforter on the bad, i was cold all the time. No phone to call the receptionist. You had to leave your id for towels which is not safe to do. If you lost a towel they charge you. The little cabanas in the pool area were bad shape. The ATM was not working. This was the worst place i have stayed and I was very dissatisfied. I left like i couldn't do anything because you will get in trouble. Customer should not feel this way while on vacation.
