The room reminded me of a super eight. I was disappointed, the food was fair.
The bartenders and staff were very good. The alcohol provided was very poor quality not a top shelf brand to be found.
The dining atmosphere was very nice. The Wade staff were very nice also!

We enjoyed our stay at the Wyndam Grand. The facilities were clean and well maintained and all of the staff were very friendly. Our only complaint was the food options. The buffet served the same food every time we went and there wasn't a lot of variety. The food we had was good and no complaints of the quality of the food, there just wasn't much to choose from compared to other resorts where we have stayed. The entertainment also wasn't that great. The shows offered in the evenings weren't very well attended or entertaining so if you're looking for a place with good entertainment in the evenings this isn't it. Overall though, we liked the resort and thought it was very nice.

The property, rooms, restaurant, all of it was extremely tidy.. the staff is helpful and friendly and make you feel welcomed… we had a great time and will definitely stay here again. Food options were great too, from the sushi on the beach to tacos by the pool there were many options. Loved this place!

We had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions. The beach view was beautiful and made our mornings especially relaxing. We also enjoyed spending time at the pool, which was clean and never felt overcrowded. The location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to other travelers.

Fantastic, Stress , Free Getaway!
We had a wonderful stay at the Wyndham Grand Cancun. The property is absolutely beautiful, exceptionally clean, and right on a pristine stretch of beach. Having multiple pools, including a great swim up bar and areas for the kids, meant there was a perfect spot for everyone to relax. The all-inclusive setup made dining completely effortless with a great variety of restaurant options. What truly sets this resort apart, though, is the staff; everyone was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel like family. Highly recommend for a smooth, relaxing vacation! My daughters really loved it!!

This property is absolutely gorgeous. All of the workers are so nice, welcoming and helpful. It was really easy to navigate. The all inclusive is amazing, they also have a buffet everyday until 11pm. Workers constantly wanting to feed you and give you drinks (all inclusive). They just want to see you have a great time. It is beautiful at the Wyndham Grand, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

We've visited Cancun for 20 years now and have stayed at many resorts. We've stayed at 5 star to 2 star resorts. I'll say that I was impressed by the Wyhndham Grand. The resort was very well maintained and clean. The staff was great and very friendly. The facilities were great and the pools were not over crowded. My only complaint is the food. The Paloma buffet is not very good. The breakfast was ok but dinner was pretty bad. We had to order room service 2 nights for dinner just to avoid the buffet. We had a difficult time getting reservations at the other restaurants. We were able to get a reservation at the steakhouse one night. Unfortunately, it was not very good. Edible at best. I wouldn't return here for that reason alone. If you are ok with mediocre food then this is a great place to stay.

This was our 5th stay at this resort. First it was Omni and now Wyndham. We enjoyed our stay in a villa at this beautiful resort. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful.

Thank you to Julio at the beach, Ivo and Sergio (?) at La Vista and all the wonderful wonderful bartenders that provided great service. A special thank you to Patrica with concierge for helping us with our stay. We look forward to returning again in the near future.

Punto negativo es la poca actividad que tienen de entretenimiento, a pesar que el Team es maravilloso, otro aspecto fue el customers services no fue el mejor! Pagamos para vacacionar y se supone que además de todo lo bueno que puede estar el hotel (que lo está) deben de tener un servicio al cliente fantástico. Si no hubiésemos tenido estos dos aspectos, el hotel para mí fuese 5 star’s

The place was ok, is big resort only 3 restaurants good food in the restaurant, small buffet not too much variety of food. Front desk were not helpful at all. We got 2 full beds instead of Queen bed when we complained the tell us we have to wait till next day and then check out by 12 and then we can get the write room at 3:00 . What an hassle. Finely next day they upgrade the room and we get happy.

Since the property itself is new, it’s clean, but a lot of inconveniences. They offered us , family of four , 6 years and 2 years old with two full size beds, called that’s the double standard room. The water faucet design super stupid, water splashing everywhere, so u have to use super slow flow. The staff is not friendly at all, u asked for information, all they told u is to download their app. 90 percent of employees wouldn’t like to communicate with u at all since yr not speaking Spanish. And the food sucks , super super sucks , u always see the same food from the buffet and u will see the exact same dishes have been placed at different location on the buffet bar. I transferred from sunscap resort to this one just to experience different ones , with the comparison, this one sucks a lot , we could not wait to leave for back home , don’t now book , the employees unpleasant attitude will ruin yr vacation

The a/c I do have to say in the room was great also. Not once did they approach us to ask if there’s anything they can do. No entertainment other than an old couple playing music. No water activity’s. Two beers in the refrigerator For the whole stay?

Cuando íbamos de aniversario cuando en la página ponían que era posibilidad cualquiera de las dos. Además, nos dijeron que la limpieza no se hace todos los días. Yo pedí que llegaran y nos indicaron que estaba bien, a las 5pm otra vez solicité y me dijeron que no. Que limpiaban cada dos días :/ … $300.00 diario para que no te hagan limpieza ?
La comida no se siente muy fresca tampoco.

The staff were very responsive and attentive. Shout out to Julio at the pool bar- thank you, you're awesome! The food was also better than most all inclusive resorts. We enjoyed every aspect of the resort with one huge exception: It was extremely upsetting that on Saturday evening the outside wedding carried on past 11pm. It was loud, obnoxious and the noise and vibration of the drums were inescapable. We found it rude and inconsiderate to subject all of the guests in each ocean facing room to this for this one rather small wedding group. It was incredibly enraging I was not being able to get any sleep that night, and as we are paying customers too, it was unfair for us to have to put up with it. ---- Suggestion: Enjoy your romantic sunset weddings on the beach however keep the trashy loud parties inside the hotel banquet rooms. Do better dear wedding planner and hotel management, what were you thinking allowing this in the first place.

This is quite possibly the worst resort I’ve ever stayed at and I’ve stayed at alot of resorts. We’ll start at check-in. They have a fake check-in labeled as VIP for people who book through Expedia. This is only a ploy to get you in front of the timeshare salesman. We agreed to take the tour only to be sold too extremely aggressive, even after telling the tour guide manager that we were gonna decline because I just finished breast cancer treatment. We don’t know what the next year looks like and we were doing our floors back home he basically laughed and said those were rich people problems. ??? the tour guy also didn’t tell us that she was sick until the end of the tour and me having a compromise immune system feel sick with a very nasty cold or flu not entirely sure that same night which pretty much ruined the trip. Now onto the dining. The food is horrible. Correction everything but the sushi bar that was closed most days out at the pool was horrible. Drinks were also horrible. The room is very clean and upgraded no complaints there on cleanliness however it is very hot in Mexico and me and both my husband sleep hot so yes we had the AC on full blast. I paid for it. However, on our last night, there was a paper slipped underneath our door stating that the AC would not be working ironically, the paper said I hope you enjoyed your stay implying that it was our last night and that the AC would not be working so basically you’re telling me you turned the AC off on purpose.

Our stay at the Wyndham Grand was a 4 star at best. It’s a good value for your buck. Our family of 4 , 2 adults and 2 children (under the age of 4) had all the amenities needed. The kids pool was always cleaned and maintained, the pool areas and beach were well kept. Some of our service was slow at the buffet, the food overall was good, but don’t expect anything to amaze you. The hotel property’s AC went out for 2days/nights, the hotel did their best to accommodate for us. We also noticed little white envelopes for tips that were left in our room throughout the stay, considering that they wouldn’t maintain the room when dropping those envelopes off, made us a little uncomfortable. Overall the staff were friendly, and welcoming throughout the property.

Pros: Room was clean with toiletries provided (not that I needed but if it’s important to minimal packing), trees were beautiful, ocean shore was an easy walk with great shores. Breakfast staff was very nice

Cons: said I was vip (scam) decorated my door and room, thin walls 6am could hear all furniture moving, night staff was very pushy and drinks were trash. Buffet is comparable to a cruise

At first we were a little upset because when we checked in the decided to upgrade our 2 bedroom oceanfront rooms to VIP suites, this would have been fine but we were on a girls trip and each room needed to have two beds and the upgraded rooms were king size beds. They said that they had no other rooms available so we would have to take these rooms until they could get us put into new rooms the following day. We had paid extra for a birthday package so that was now going to be messed up in the rooms we were going to be moved to. We’re no longer the oceanfront rooms that we had paid extra for. With the Hotel staff, knowing that we were extremely upset and disappointed. They pulled a few strings and were actually able to get us into a villa and that was absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond and we are so appreciative and grateful.

Unfortunately this wasn’t the best resort or experience. The food wasn’t very good. Especially the buffets, we had a hard time finding something to eat. And the Mexican/taco restaurant wasn’t good at all which was disappointing. My travel companion got sick, we aren’t sure if it was food or the water but be aware! The bars don’t open till 10, and some later than that so it was difficult to find a drink. You can only get water bottles from lobby bar, which no one would be at. Then at night, restaurants are closed and there’s no late night snacks/food/bar available. I believe your only option is room service which is an additional cost. The staff isn’t super helpful or accommodating in any way. We got locked out of our room for hours because the key card reader needed a new battery. This should have been fixed immediately but it wasn’t. We also were not comped in any way. There are not many bathrooms around the resort and they are very small. Wish it was better in many ways. Sadly to say we were displeased.

Room was fairly clean, the toilet could have used a deep cleaning. The staff were all AMAZING! Very courteous and helpful. The pools were all great, the ocean was amazing! Kid friendly, good atmosphere! The food was a let down. We did enjoy the t bone at LaVista, and the salad bar. I wish there were more variety at the buffet. Or switch food up for breakfast buffet. The entertainment was okay. We played Bingo, did a dance lesson, volleyball, laraoke, and it was all very enjoyable! We would recommend this resort, and we will return in the future, next time with the kids!

The hotel, food, and property were great. Both restaurant managers were excellent. The only problem we had was the high pressure sales that continued throughout the whole vacation. At first it was the vacation club and then it continued with tours, shows etc. there was just too much pressure and pushy people. We will go back but will try a different hotel.

Rooms are spacious and clean. We initially had an issue from the air conditioner leaking our first night and the staff were prompt in addressing the concern and fixing the issue. No more leaks since. The bathroom was spacious as well and well equipped.

The pools and jacuzzi were amazing. They had a swim up jacuzzi bar (adults only) that had a view of the beach that I thoroughly enjoyed. The main pool also has a swim up bar. Shout out to Esteban who was so attentive and he remembered my favourite drink and kept refilling without being prompted.

The restaurants were good. I enjoyed the steakhouse and the Italian restaurant the most. The buffet is available for all meals but the selections were mostly just okay (nothing stood out but nothing was bad).

The staff were incredibly friendly and approachable.

I would recommend Wyndham Grand for anyone wishing to experience an all-inclusive.

Great family-oriented place for kids. There were plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained, which made our trip enjoyable. The staff was a bit rude at the beginning of our stay, which was disappointing, but things improved as our trip went on.
