Clean room and great view! No maid service the whole stay of 5 night. Could I used new towels. A restaurant on site and security guard on site was a bonus,. Also it has a convenient store on site as well.

Great location and amazing ocean view

The location is excellent and the ocean view is spectacular. The pool area is beautiful, large, clean, and perfect for relaxing, and the restaurant offers very good service with a solid menu. Food prices are reasonable (around $10–$15 USD per dish), so it’s convenient to stay at the property and enjoy the facilities without having to go out looking for food.

Overall, we had a very good stay. However, there are a few things guests should know.

This is not a hotel but a condominium, so reservations and room management are handled directly by the owner or a property manager. Because of this, services typical of hotels are not available. For example, if you arrive before the official check-in time and did not arrange early check-in, there is no place to leave your luggage and you cannot access the amenities while you wait.

The building itself is older, and that shows in the rooms. It seems there have been attempts to renovate — there are mini-split AC units and the rooms were clean — but you can still notice some wear and aging in the interiors.

There is also a small convenience store inside the condo where we were able to buy snacks, which was helpful.

That said, the ocean view, the pool, the direct beach access, and the overall atmosphere easily outweigh the room details. The property has a lot charm thanks to its location and common areas.

We just got home from 5days at ocean view apartments. I will start with the good.
The views are spectacular, amazing views from every side of the hotel. The location is great with the local shuttle bus picking up right outside on the resort. We used this multiple times to go downtown and eat dinner. There is also a convience store right at the hotel and a bigger one across the street with may options. The pool is plenty big with an ample amount of seating and the beachfront is fantastic. Our room has a small kitchette which was very convenient for making breakfast in the morning. Our ac worked great which is not always the case in Mexico

Now with the things that could use some work.
The rooms were comfortable but the beds are hard as a rock, there is a lack of towels in the room. Only two bath towels and one hand towel. No wash clothes and no towel for the kitchenette. The check in process was not the greatest if you have an earlier flight. Online it says you can use common areas until check in but that doesn't include the pool or the beach if you have luggage with you. Our flight arrived at 11am and we had to sit in a small room until 3. Not really the way anyone wants to start their vacation.
The resort does not allow you to have a beverage while in the pool (not even water in an enclosed cup) or sitting on the side with your feet in the water.

Overall this was a great place to stay with just a few kinks that could get worked out. We would definitely stay here again.

EXCELLENT LOCATION, wonderful balcony overlooking pool that was cleaned every morning. Security was excellent as well - front gate manned with check in/check out clipboard. The onsite restaurant and little convenience store were great. The unit itself was good keeping in mind that Mexican Standards are lower - ie - needs new microwave, more than 2 toilet paper, housekeeping could be after third day - we checked in on Saturday and housekeeping arrived late Thursday afternoon - I had already found the on site laundromat to do our towels. The biggest issue to be aware of is communication - texts only (never a live conversation, never given an actual name of who I was communicating with, Very Slow Response time - which they did apologize for, but this tends to create anxiety). Overall, a Very Good Value and I would book again since I am now aware of the communication issues, but they do need to improve this. One other thing to note is that the unit is actually referred to as being in The Cancun Plaza - Ocean View Apartments seems to be a larger company that this apartment is under the umbrella of in some way. Thank you for the stay!

The original room that we paid Hotels.com for 100% in full weeks before our travel was totally without a doubt not acceptable. Don't know where to start but no electricity in the bathroom (women need to blow dry and apply makeup) along with a supposed balcony which was like 12\" in front to back depth. Simple thing might be providing an extension chord? You couldn't put a chair out on the supposed balcony also if you had a butt at all you had to lean backwards against the sliding glass. Get this if you opened the balcony sliding glass door the AC cut off. We were having our teeth pulled and needed a hotel room to lay around, watch TV, and set on the balcony. Luckily we contacted the condo manager guy, Miguel Artusa and he told me to settle down. Since it was a low volume week he had many empty units. So by paying more money we upgraded to an acceptable room and were basically happy during the 10 days of dental surgery. If Miguel has that same room in 6 months when we will have to go back for more teeth work we will rent the same one. It is so hot that local condos currently are advertising up to 63% off normal rates to book now for June.

The staff on the outside grounds and in the building were courteous and always willing to help, as was the owner of the room.

For check-in, it would be ideal to inform the occupant that the WhatsApp app would be needed for filling out the registration. After a very long day of travelling, it only added to the stress.

At our first breakfast at the restaurant, I asked for tea but the appliance to boil water did not work. A few days later, my wife ordered a club sandwich but they were out of fries. She had a side order of rice!

Coincidentally, the water boiler appliance in the room was also not working. Contacted the owner and he replied but no action taken.

Could not keep ice in the small refrigerator as the very small ice box had not been thawed out in some time and nothing could fit in the small opening that was not covered in frost.

The kitchen faucet needs adjustment as water sprays unexpectedly.

The bathroom sink is not user friendly if you want to keep the counter dry.

Not sure if the room could be sprayed as there were little ant-like insects zooming around.

As mentioned earlier, everybody was warm, receptive and helpful, but we would not return to Ocean View Apartments.

We had a great 10 days - staff was great and having a store, laundry, and restaurant on site was convenient. unit needed a better stocked kitchen with a toaster and flipper for eggs. more pots and pans. better selecting of plates bowls and utensils. building is showing its age but everything worked and lots of hot water. a bit of a language barrier but we are in a Spanish speaking country and managed to make out alright. Pool was nice and lots of room on the beach.

booked the Ocean View hotel through Expedia, and upon arrival, I was asked to pay a $300 deposit via Stripe if I want the room code. I agreed, thinking it was standard procedure….. But even now, after my stay, I still haven’t received my deposit back yet! I’ve sent several messages and no one replies. It’s very frustrating and unprofessional.

On top of that, the room wasn’t cleaned for four days during my stay. I honestly feel like I was scammed. Be careful if you’re considering this hotel – it does not feel trustworthy at all.

Found out that some rooms are sub let out , hence why the taxi drivers and uber cant find the location as the hotel is actually Cancun Plaza And not sea view apartments
My room 3509 had a door switch on the sliding door , which was so hard to slide open as to it would turn the AC off even if it was for a second, it also switched off at night sometimes .as it was WIFI controlled to save power. THATS BS .

No bottle opener, and water pressure was low
The little bar near was good Nice food but they didn't like taking payment by card.
otherwise, good basic Hotel and nice fast internet
PS no Doona just a sheet and a thin blanket

The property is a little older. My only complaint about my room is that I wish I had a walkout balcony but I did have a panoramic view stayed on the fourth floor. Property has a restaurant, a small store and a laundromat. Staff was very friendly. Beach was very clean. Had a lifeguard small convenience store across the street. Two really good restaurants across the street more towards the North end of the hotel zone area but overall 8 and 1/2 out of 10 definitely will be going back. Maybe getting a bigger unit with a full kitchen and a larger balcony

Pros-ALL staff was attentive and communicative, even before our reservation date. Very helpful. Easy check in. There’s enough parking, small store at main entrance, good pool size, beach access, restaurant on site- with delicious food, and good drinks.
Cons- Needs upgrades, it’s an older building and it definitely shows. I got the room with a separate queen bed on a “loft” but it’s a small space, you can’t stand straight. The ceiling had a huge crack. It has stairs with mini steps, without railing.

The check in process is a little strange. We weren't sure if the keyless entry code we had would continue working our entire stay. Older building but clean and all provisions needed were in the room, towels, soap & shampoo, fridge, dishes, etc. AMAZING VIEW from the balcony and beautiful beach and pool area. Peaceful and serene property. Rooms are not sound proof. Heard our neighbors quite a bit. Food & Bev service is slow, but OK... Speaking spanish was necessary... We would come back, had a great time.

Overall the property was ok. But we had several times when people came in our room whenever they wanted too. Door has a key pad and everyone has the code. I had just got out of the shower and someone came in without knocking to measure the sliding door. They spoke no English and couldn’t explain why they were there. We used Google translate and they asked when we checked out so they can fix the door, so we assumed they would come back after our stay but the next DAY we walked on to get ready for dinner and their was 2 men sitting in our room working on the door. I felt very uncomfortable the rest of the trip because anyone had access to the room.

1st there is no staff to help you for anything.. nothing, no one ever came to clean and everytime I made an appointment they never show up. no interest for about 2 days, no communication with the management was successful cause they didn't care for what it was happening then the bed sheets there wasn't, it was that sheet you put on and they double it cause the mattress did not have a cover for each one, just they double the sheets so you are kinda on your won cause they will only reply on text and its afreaking dessaster.

Beautiful view, apartment had all we needed. Noisy ceiling fan, it wasn’t working properly as its light kept coming on in the middle of the night. Other than that, we were in the 4th floor directly in front of the ocean.

I wouldn't stay again

the location address is not correct. it shows the property across the street. the taxi driver was not happy, we had to ask someone to find it, and it's not signed. we were early to arrive and had to wait. the reception lady had us wait outside in the heat. the room was not in good repair, a little run down and in need of a make over. there are no good restaurants nearby, the ones near all had very bad reviews, saying expensive, bad service and bad food. they charge a deposit to stay. i don't know if they will refund it or not since they say it could take 3 to 10 days for the refund. we had to leave for the airport, and they wouldn't check the room and tell me if I get my deposit back. the reception lady would not give me a copy of the bill saying to get it online. she was rude. I'd never stay at this place again. beach was nice but all else was very disappointing.

Quiet, clean, great view!

Our stay was very pleasant and although the room didn't have the features listed in the room that I booked (a couch) the room was adequate. The kitchen bar area was well stocked and we were pleased with having a small fridge plus a microwave and stove. The bathroom is beautiful, all new granite and tile but one feature even most hotels lack - the lighting and the distance to the mirror over the sink made it almost impossible for my husband to shave. A small mirror on a moveable arm might be an added feature. The pool area is very nice and the bar serves quite good food. The location was very quiet and people were quite friendly. We stayed 12 days and enjoyed our mini vacation.

It was a beautiful, clean room with an amazing view of the pool & ocean. I had a fabulous time. My plane was delayed but there was still someone there to give me a key. These are apartments. The only suggestion I would like to make is that a bottle of water is supplied on arrival. Otherwise a perfect experience. There is a restaurant on the premises.

Stayed here twice before with no problems. Rented for Oceanview Delisia. Thos time it was Ocean View Incredible! And they were useless! Had several lights that didnt work. A lady came the next day and said someone would be here tomorrow to fix everything. Noone EVER showed up.

My biggest critique to get it out of the way - the instructions to find the place could be vastly improved. The apartment is in a complex called Cancun Plaza which would have been a huge help in finding it which seems to be an ongoing issue. Our driver could not find it, people at the gate seemed confused when we initially asked and they told us we weren't at the correct place!

Check in process was easy, front desk team were easy to work with and very helpful. The building is older looking on the outside but a lot of renos seem to have been happening inside.

We booked an oceanfront room and have zero regrets. The view from bed was beautiful and one of the best we have had. The room was very clean, had everything we needed. There is a small kitchen (we didn't use it), the bed and pillows were comfortable (for us), although the bathroom was a little tight for two people it wasn't a big deal at all.

Our balcony was a great spot each evening to sit out and enjoy the breeze. Fireworks were set off a few places over our first night so we had a great show unexpectedly!

There is a restaurant on-site - we had breakfast, it was fine but nothing to write home about, same for the drinks. We tried a restaurant a 5min walk away across the street and it was pretty good. There's an Oxxo across the street which was helpful for waters although it seemed there was a small convenience store on the property too that we discovered.

All in we would return for another stay here!

La propiedad da directamente al mar y nuestra habitacion tenia balcon con vista al mar. En general, la habitacion estaba limpia, la alberca estaba muy mona y tenia acceso directo a la playa.

La comunicacion con la gerencia/recepcion/mantenimiento fue unicamente por correo. De ahi empieza mi problema. El tono del correo siempre fue pasivo-agresivo. Siendo un huesped, no me apetece que se asuma y se me haga saber que sea lo que pase es mi culpa.

Problema dos, aire dejo de funcionar al segundo dia y se lo notifique a gerencia. A su favor, gerencia me contesto de inmediato para decirme que iban a mandar a alguien a arreglarlo, pero me recordaba que tenia que mantener el aire a no menos de 24 o 25 C para que funcione bien. Volvemos a lo mismo, comentario pasivo-agresivo en donde no asumen culpa sino que la culpa es del huesped. No me notifico a que hora iban a venir a arreglar el aire acondicionado pero si que me mando un mensaje a las 10 de la noche preguntandome a que hora ibamos a hacer el checkout la manana siguiente y nos recordaba que el checkout era a las 11 am.

En corto, el trato con gerencia no me hizo sentir bienvenida.

I had a very bad experience.Well I had a reservation that was payed in full for this place and called for early check in they said it would be ok so me and family were after 12:00 tried to check in and the lady at the desk stated we couldn’t until 3:00 so went to the beach got in the water came back to the office still wet and the rude lady stated that i needed a passport to check she would not take my I’d or birth certificate I asked what we can do to rectify the situation as she rudely answered nothing and proceeded to go to the back room to eat cake with like five other members of the staff while no one attendant the front desk I was in the office for about an hour with another family that was waiting to check inn so they had me and family waiting in the car full of sand and still wet from the beach so I decided to head to another place and left. I can honestly say I’m never going back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

The apartments are cute. Beds arent comfortable at all. So you have a beautiful view but sleep miserable. A coffee pot with no coffee. The restaurant there absolutely sucked in both service and food so definitely recommend eating elsewhere. Overall nice place to stay minus those few i conviences.

Amazing Wifi to work. Amazing view from the balcony, great kitchen, fridge. Super great shower and beds really confortable!!! We will come back, everything was great! We had an increidble time and enjoyed the swimming pool! Shop downstairs and a supermarket in front. 100/10

This property advertises as a Hotel, but is an Airbnb-style \"apartment\", which in truth is just a hotel room with a fridge and a Microwave that on check-in you will be told is not under the management of the Hotel staff and the Hotel staff is not to be asked any questions beyond the check-in. You will be given a piece of paper with a Whatsapp Number to ask questions, which will only respond between \"11 am and 16 pm\".

There was no safety depositbox in the room I moved into, a question which was ignored by the WhatsApp Contact.

I would never book this place again.

It was nice experience and the room was clean and you have given exactly what was required for us and as promised Infinite pool with patio facing ocean with affordable price. If you want to try different cuisine then stay in this type of hotel use that money to dine in different place. Buses are available in front of the hotel and you can travel through hotel area and explore. Hotel itself is clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this for family with children and adults.

The room itself was my issue. We had dirty pillow cases, only a sheet and 1 towel for the entire stay. The air not just leaked water but sprayed it out, this caused the floor to be very slippery and caused me to fall! No towels to clean it up, no one responded until the day we left regarding this. My knee is bruised and swollen from the fall. The restaurant is wayyyyy overpriced and the food was not even seasoned and was not good

We received a room with no air conditioner, the ceiling fan wasn’t working either. We received the room almost 2 hours late but at the check out we were getting very aggresive message. The guys at the entrance are terrible and treated us like the worst, would not listen to what we were telling him and the attitude was horrible. Long story short I will never go back there and definitely pass the word around so nobody goes through the same. The breakfast restaurant didn’t open until 9 which is a joke for a place like that, also didn’t take card neither they try to fix the issue.

My stay at Ocean View Apartment was spectacular! The view from the hotel is just amazing!!!!! To see the torquoise blue water everytime you wake up in the morning was a blessing. The check-in process was smooth. Salma helped me with the check-in process. She is a a gem and very helpful. The apartment has a restaurant which was very convenient. The drinks at the restaurant was pretty good! Specially the Mojito! Salma is very sweet and made sure I was comfortable at all time. If I ever come back to Cancun, I will make sure to stay at this apartment because of how hospitable Salma was to me. I felt like I was at home. She was very quick to respond to my texts and answered all my questions. I received my security deposit back within 24hours of check-out. Didn't have any issues. The apartment was very clean and the room service was spectacular. It has a private beach and security guard around the place all the time. I felt super safe and at home. I would like to rate my stay 11/10!! I can't wait to visit here again. Thanks Salma for your amazing hospitality!

I had stayed 1 week, they changed towel only once! I asked cleaning ladies to change towel and they said they couldnt.
Restaurant food is poor on that price range,but service of Restaurant was ok.
AC remote controller battery was almost out, so i took it to the office to get new battery and they said no. And they said i have to contact Expedia.
Shower presure was terribly low! It barely trickeld.
Again, about towel, i didnt want the room cleaned everyday, so they cleaned 2 times, cleaning work was very good, but they didnt change the towel! Even it smells! Finally i chased them and barely got towels one time.

Check in was really bad, there is no front desk so it makes it hard you have to be in communication with the manager directly. I called and emailed with no response and finally later I got a call hours later when I had already booked a nee hotel and had to cancel that one. And lost $130. Dollars very nice view though.
