All of the pools and the jacuzzi was cold, unable to enter without possible thermal shock. This was reposted to management and nothing was done. I was there from Thursday to Monday and also unable to utilize the swim up/out pool due to being freezing cold. I am aware that January is considered a winter month however being a resort offering pools and charging the rate of $3161 I should have been able to have applied warmth to the pools and jacuzzi.

I can't wait to visit Secrets again! My friends and I had an amazing and unforgettable time. From the time we stepped onto the resort to being greeted by the staff throughout our visit, to the multiple food options - nothing was missed!

The master suite was such a treat with a wide swim out pool, which was a space of refuge for me. I'm already planning my next stay!

Our room was amazing, the staff was great, and the food/drinks were satisfying.

I called a few weeks in advance and asked about the topless sunbathing area since there were many reviews stating that they enjoyed this at this location. I was told over the phone by a Hyatt rep that there's an area called Freestyle Zone for topless sunbathing. Upon arrival and asking about it, the staff advised me that once Hyatt bought the hotel, they removed the Freestyle Zone. My girlfriend was definitely disappointed with the news.

If you want to enjoy the hot tub at night, sorry but this is not the place. All pools and hot tubs closes at 8pm. All hot tubs are about 95° F. Speaking of hot water; if you like scolding hot water, the hottest the water will be in your shower will be luke-warm.

My husband and I stayed at Secrets Riviera Cancún All Preferred - Adults Only - All Inclusive, and overall, it was a wonderful experience.

The resort itself is beautiful and very well maintained. I loved the different vibes of the pools — we started at the quiet pool, ended up at the lively pool on Saturday during the all-day party (SO much fun), and then enjoyed the middle pool on Sunday for the football games. The food was decent, though I’ll admit we didn’t fully explore all of the dining options available.

Our room was romantic and comfortable — I never wanted to get out of the shower! We also had a hot tub on our balcony, which unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use because we spent most of our time relaxing at the pools. We also took full advantage of the spa, which was an excellent experience.

The only real negative of our trip was the “resort tour” they promote. It’s positioned as a quick, no-obligation, two-hour experience where you get to see one of their new properties and receive resort credits. Since it was a rainy day, we figured why not. The property we visited, Secrets Moxché, was stunning and honestly blew me away. But the experience quickly shifted into a hard sales pitch. Despite making it clear we weren’t interested in purchasing, we were passed from one rep to another, each offering new “deals.” What was supposed to be two hours dragged into nearly five. By the end, our sales rep became extremely rude and even accused my husband of lying about our

Stayed in a swim out that was nice and spacious. It was located by a bar so the waiters would bring drinks. This resort is close to Breathless so you have access to their restaurants which gives plenty of options to choose from. The walking distance is decent. There were things going on each day. There’s also a nightclub. I would definitely recommend this resort.

We love this resort. Food was good. Super nice atmosphere. The room was extremely nice. But will say the drinks were water down a lot most of the time you can tell there was no alcohol in them even when we asked. Also the resort doesn’t really have 14 full restaurants it was more like 6 full ones. The buffet wasn’t really to good. Resort isn’t really as open as expected but still really really nice! Looking forward to coming back!

Although the staff was very friendly, the resort was lacking. I've stayed at other Secrets locations & this was definitely not 5 star. It was more like 3.5. The food (even with plenty restaurants) was lacking flavor in my opinion. Even with Preferred Club, only the alcohol options were better. It took 2 hours to get into my room, onlly after the 2 hours did they change my room. I wouldn't recommend if you've traveled and enjoy 5 star privileges, this is not that.

This property was beautiful but the preferred club lounge had no top shelf liquor. The Xhale lounge did not either. And when they did have one bottle of a top shelf liquor they hid it. You would pretty much have to ask and they would say they didn’t have any. Absolut and Bacardi aren’t top shelf. But they would market/sell Don Julio and Patron for bottle service in their clubs. Breathless Cancun Soul was not like this. It was so much better with actual top shelf liquor.

Saw some reviews that said this was the lower end of secrets resorts, and it lived up to that. Menu is subpar, the food is resort food, bland, not exciting at all. Room service menu just sucked! Very limited items and never changes. Biggest complaint was the noise, every night the same thing drunks yelling and screaming till 2-3 in the morning. Then someone decided to use a hammer drill at 3 in the morning for a few nights. Stayed on the Secrets side in a swim out suite, never expected to get 2-3 hours of sleep a night when we went to relax. Will never go back to this location ever. This place was like a carnival cruise! This was our 5th stay at a secrets resort because we loved the others. This one is not for those that want to rest and relax.

I took my wife here for our anniversary/her birthday trip and it was our first experience at an all inclusive. TL;DR This place is a DREAM! The resort has amazing layout and has something for everyone based on what your taste is. It was a perfect fit for us because we’re folks who enjoy the peace and quiet but like having the option of going to the party. The Swimout Oceanview Junior Suite and (and the master suite) are absolutely worth it as they always seem to remain a nice cool temperature. That way you can retreat to them if the larger pools get too crowded or too warm in the Mexico heat,

Most of all the service above what truly makes this place feel like your own personal heaven. They make sure to remember your name and always treat you like family if you treat them well. A special shoutout to Nidel, Luis, Jacob, Roger, and Brian for their excellence service and making us feel like we never wanted to leave.

I see a lot of folks complain about the beach and I can understand because other resorts have those turquoise blue waters you look for in your vacation spot but it turned out that this year was a terrible year for sargassum (look it up and get familiar with it. You’ll be upset if your beach vacation is ruined by it) and Secrets has a barrier to protect its beaches from it. It’s not a perfect solution as some still gets through but it’s nothing compared to what has slammed other resorts in the area, and it’s well maintained.

The resort was beautiful! Its about a 20 minute ride from the Cancun airport which isnt bad but its secluded! So if your looking be near clubs i wouldnt recommend! The rooms are amazing showers in the middle of the room and jacuzzi tubs on the balconys!
The food was okay! Drinks amazing and the service!
They also offer swim out rooms! The hibachi restaurant was the best, but thats the only restaurant you have to make reservations for! All in all definitely a 10/10 stay! And you have access to the breathless resort as well so 3 different pool options with swim up bars and a dj!

Only 1 restaurant on the secrets side that was really good for breakfast lunch and dinner. However, you would have to go on the breathless side for other restaurants and entertainment. Secrets is for sure, the relaxing side, but you get the best of both worlds

Ramirez & Samuel the sommeliers are amazing they not only both go above and beyond but make my experience amazing everytime (I used to hate drinking wine but Ramirez has definitely opened up my taste buds). They truly both care about the guests. If it wasnt for them coming here would not be the same! They both make me feel like family. Emiliano went above and beyond with planning my engagement and it was beautiful - he was not only easy and fast to respond but a genuine individual that made the process simple! I also have to say Emilio the butler was so easy to work with and helpful, he took care of everything I asked him and more. Its truly an honor to know all these individuals as they really do care about the guests and make you feel at home.

The property was gorgeous and the staff was excellent! We did have to ask a few times about the birthday, but they came through.
The food at Rainwater was excellent. Breathless buffet was not good, it had no taste.
The room would be even better with phone charging outlets on the nightstand and a bench for the shower. The water in the shower was just warm, it never got hot.
Overall it was a great experience and we hope to return and we will recommend to our friends and family.
Entertainer Angel “Brown Sugar” was excellent and engaging! We loved the Cowboy band too!

We loved our time at the resort. The check in process was easy and the property is beautiful. Most of the employees were very friendly and eager to meet our every desire. We were lucky enough to be offered a free upgrade. We were in a king suite with a swim out. Our butler introduced himself to us right after check in. We were told that he would be in touch frequently to see what he could do for us. He asked about all of our favorites for the mini bar. We never heard from a butler the whole time we were there. We finally reached out to him on the 2nd day we were there and asked for a few things for our mini bar. And we never heard from him again for the rest of our stay. If we had actually paid for this upgrade I would be very disappointed. The breakfast buffet was really good! There were so many options! The resort was in excellent condition. There are just a couple things that may need some updating. The mattress was very worn and sunken in and the bath towels were very rough. They might need to be replaced soon. Overall our visit was awesome and we really enjoyed relaxing here for a week.
