We had a swim up room and could see all the pools from our deck. It was lovely. The pools as well as the property were so clean. The staff was absolutely top notch with how friendly and helpful they were. We were celebrating a big birthday and had many staff recognize it. Would highly recommend the resort to friends.

Definitely not much to do besides eat, drink and relax (which was what we went for) but the resort itself was great, ocean view from all rooms as far as we could tell, staff was helpful and friendly. No beach but still a great view, and nothing much going on in the way of activities in the evening if that’s what you’re after.

I had an oceanfront room which was really nice. I enjoyed the pools and the food was soooo good. The staff there was amazing, Marcelo at the buffet was really fun, Carmen at the coffee shop was extremely helpful, and the luggage guys (unfortunately I can’t recall their names) were awesome. My only complaint is the lack of beach there, other than that, everything was great.

Ocean was visable but no beach at this resort the hotel is clean well maintained friendly staff loved the swim up room! They had just launched the app to make the reservation for the steak house and frank and Lola you could only make reservations for more than 2 people that was disappointing that you would get on at 9 am by 905 they were all booked

We had the good fortune of working with Dafne, who is amazing, she took care of everything for us from making sure we had a cabana to helping us with dinner reservations to stopping by every day just to check in and see how our our stay was going.
Then there’s Rodolfo, who makes the most amazing lemon drops, ask for with tequila, he is the bartender at the steakhouse. We spent more than one night sitting at the bar with him. He’s funny and gracious, and really made her stay amazing
The rooms were great. The balconies were lovely. The room service was exceptional. We would highly recommend this location for an adult only experience.

Beautiful room, definitely a resort with loud music from 11am to 130am.
This resort is More 4 1/2 star party resort than a 5 star luxury resort meant for relaxation. Remember to bring ear plugs are the 3rd floor oceanfront swim up rooms are above the bar and by the day time music. Still Beautiful

We stayed at the resort from Feb 25-Mar 5. Loved the resort! Extremely clean, food was amazing, drinks plentiful, grounds beautiful, rooms large and comfortable. I have never been to a resort with so many pool umbrellas and side tables. Never an issue to get seats or shade. If you are a beach lover this is not the resort. We knew this when we booked and it didn’t deter us. I have nothing but good things to say. The app to book à la Carts was a bit challenging but we made it work. Will definitely return.

This resort is a fantastic choice. The food was amazing, the staff go out to their way to assist and make your time a great one.
Only a couple things that could improve... There are only 3 restaurants for dinner. 1 buffet and 2 a la cart. The a la cart dinners must have a reservation and it's extremely difficult to get one if you have a larger group than 6 (our party size was 8).
99% of the staff was amazing, always smiles and happy to assist and go above and beyond however
a couple of the workers, like the steak house host, was very abrupt and not welcoming. And when the landshark bar closed for the night, he kicked everyone out in a more negative way.

Rooms were great in size, great water pressure and hot water for showera

Cleaners were great for turn down where we had a bottle of water on each night stand every night.
A lot of nice small touches that made the stay next level.

Poolside entertainment staff were next level and had great energy and personalities.

Would come again!

My wife and I don’t get away very often since we’re both business owners, so this trip was really special for us.

Landing at the Cancun airport can be a bit stressful, as most people know, but once we arrived at the hotel everything was incredibly easy. Check-in was quick and smooth, and we were in our room in no time.

The room was amazing — very clean, comfortable, and stocked with all the bottled water you could possibly need. I would absolutely recommend paying a little extra for a swim-up room. It was completely worth it.

The restaurants were all excellent. I highly recommend the Italian restaurant — reservations can be a bit tough to get, but nothing a $20 bill couldn’t help with… lol.

Every staff member we met was incredibly kind and welcoming. You can really tell they put their guests first. There were also so many fun activities happening every day, which made the experience even better.

We loved our time there and can’t wait to go back.

Our stay was great! For the price, the value was amazing. The location is great, it's actually nice being away from the zona hotelera. There are a few suggestions I have for the hotel management that caught me off guard, but other than that, it was amazing especially for the price.

Suggestions:
1. The biggest thing was that the pool is NOT heated. We went when it was 65-75 degrees F, and the pool was pretty cold the entire time. We had to get a few drinks deep in order to swim comfortably. Even then, it would've been so much nicer with a pool heater.

2. Not sure if it was just our room, but the shower water didn't really get HOT HOT. It felt hot-ish, slightly luke warm. But it never got really steamy hot, which is how I usually shower.

3. The other thing was that I was told they don't serve shots on weekends, only Monday through Friday. It seemed very odd, I just kept ordering double drinks or 2 drinks at a time instead. But I don't like drinking too much liquid to get buzzed, so I would've preferred my extra shots of tequila with my drinks.

Overall, we would definitely consider going again it was a great value and the staff was excellent. Overall a great stay.

This was our second time at this resort as we had such a pleasant experience last year we were excited to come back.
This year on the other hand I would maybe reconsider going back again.
The resort is nice and tidy and beautiful. The rooms are nice and tidy. The staff are friendly and kind as well. All of the staff are great and I appreciate them!

That being said I think the resort has suffered a staffing issue? They seemed to be really short staff this past week which unfortunately lead to long wait times for food and drink at times- especially at Landshark brewery. The staff working there were working so hard serving people but they didn't seem staffed enough to keep up with the volume. Often times I saw only one/two servers taking care of a whole bar. I felt so bad for them.
The two restaurants where you have to book was already booked up when we arrived for the whole week so getting a reservation was almost impossible. Our concierge wasn't super helpful with trying to get us a table. It was just an annoying process.
Towards the end of the trip waiting a long time for food and drinks was getting a bit frustrating. (Nothing to do with the staff- just staffing issues)

Beach towels were EXTREMELY hard to come by this week. I think they need to adopt a beach towel card system. Loungers were hard to get as well.

We did not get any VIP perks for being gold members this time which was a little disappointing.
All in all- not a bad stay. Just not as great as last year.

Overall my stay was okay. When I arrived on my first day, maintenance was in my hotel room fixing the keypad on my door. I really didn't like that, the resort should have finished the repair and tell me that it was ready.
And then the next day I meed maintenance to fix the door on my balcony

Overall good stay. The facility is clean. There seems to be a shortage of servers around the pools but there are a couple bars you can walk or swim up to… however, the pools are NOT HEATED. The food is pretty good. There are 2 restaurants where you must have a reservation. Additionally, there is a buffet and another casual restaurant you can just walk into without a reservation. Not much of a beach if any at all and the water was really murky.

This adult-only resort was clean, had fun themed decor, was well laid out, easy to navigate, offered many activities and of amenities to choose from. I was expecting nonstop Jimmy Buffett music, but there was a very good mix of playlists, styles of music and artists featured during the day at the poolside. The rooms were clean with excellent housekeeping, comfortable beds and bedding. Nice bathrooms as well with walk in shower and rainfall shower heads. One room in my party’s booking had a suite with an infinity pool, highly recommend this! It was very cool to have a beautiful view and private pool. Some staff went above and beyond to make the experience wonderful, and overall the service was generally very good (especially breakfast buffet!). The resort has an app for your phone, but I didn’t find it very useful. The room technically does have a mini bar but it is not stocked with any beverage except water, you are given 20,000 points for the duration of your stay, you pick your beverages using points from the coffee shop. Areas for improvement include: the pool temperature was too cold for some in my party, making reservations for dining at the à la carte restaurants should be much easier (through the app, restaurant itself, or the front desk in addition to the concierge as they have limited hours), better room service menu options, have ice cream available in the buffet, more coffee shop options available all day, and more selection available for room mini bar beverages.

We had a wonderful time in Margaritaville resort. The rooms were very nice and the entire complex is very clean, especially the washrooms. The pool areas were clean and had lots of lounges with a nice combination of sunny and shaded areas. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating.
The only downside is that there were only 2 specialty restaurants. While they were both very good, another option would have made the experience top shelf.
I would recommend this resort to anyone.

First wrong- booked 2 pool view rooms together- got 2 rooms away from each other,1 with a view of the top of a tree! This place is NOT all inclusive!! You get an allotted amt of “points” to stock your mini bar YOURSELF with only beer or soda NO liquor or anything of the sort.And the price of liquor you can buy- EXTREMELY OVERPRICED!! $150 US DOLLARS for a fifth of Titos!!!
Next up- absolutely NO NAME BRAND LIQUOR included- all well drinks at swim up bars & restaurants. Wine- all house cheap brands- unless you want to go ahead am spend $175 on a bottle of Josh wine that goes for $12.99 here. Food-sub par minus the italian restaurant. Landshark bar-order 2 if your hungry! Appetizer order of onion rings- 3- one of which was about 1/2”bug and burnt. Also beware of busy times here which is every night- they pour draft beer into containers then pour from that to give you a warm beer in a plastic glass!! Not kidding here folks!! Room service 24/7- wait 2 hrs possibly & only cold soggy turkey cheese sandwiches late night!
“Margaritaville” gift shop- LOL!! This place is named Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville & there is not one Jimmy Buffet piece of merch in the place!! Oh and on that note- no Jimmy Buffet music played!! The most we heard was 2 songs one day!! They play the same music-mostly latino every day!! Please heed my advice and save your money!! This place is honestly a college/bachelor/bachelorette hangout!
Its sad because its clean and nicely decorated but nope not again!

İ enjoyed my stay in the hotel. The room was clean and daily service was great. The staff were friendly and hard working. Hotel had programs during the day. Food was good, but İ enjoyed the coffee and sweets mostly. The only point which İ really did not like was the restriction for the sleeveless tops for men in the buffet. İ believe it was unnecessary as the guest would like to enjoy their stay, not thinking about their cloth. There was prevention in entering the buffet as described, whereas the hotel was adults only, and having sleeveless top for men was not disrespectful to any one.

From the minute my group arrived the vibe was perfect. We were greated at the main lobby with a frozen treat. Check-in was smooth and very imformative. Everything was super clean. The wow factor was our room. Paradise Oceanfront Swimup suite, the room was huge and we lucked out with a corner unit. HUGE PATIO. One of the few things I would change was that our pool with the swimup was not heated, so it was a bit colder then comfortable. The room was spotless, clean as a whistle. First night we went down to the buffet for dinner. It was a Bbq night and the food was very good.
The breakfast buffet had everything we needed to start the day, we orded room service a couple times and everytime was fantastic.it took about 45 minutes from the time we placed the order.
Landshark brewery was a standout. The drinks were top notch. And we went through every item on the menu. The chicken wings were incredile.we also had a day at the Main pool with a cabana and ordered the Avocado boat, 40+ tacos ,chips, salsa, and guac. It was a real headbturner and tasty tacos.
Unfortunately we were unable to get a reso at the steakhouse. But we were able to get one at Frank and Lolas(italian). It was the cherry on top to our amazing vacation. The pizzas were amazing and every other item we got was beyond our expectations. Our waitor Jorge really made it a great night.
The service staff from top to bottom were incredibly welcoming and help. It was an absolute 10 out of 10 experience.
We will be back!

This resort was spotlessly clean. The staff was amazing. The resort has two restaurants that are \"specialty\" restaurants that require reservations. (This is something that offends me from an all-inclusive resort.) We made our reservations and found the food to be mediocre and the service extremely slow at both places. Everything else was fine. Expect v to pay about $150 for a round trip transfer to and from the airport.

The staff are out of this world, the concierges go out of their way to be helpful. The personal are very friendly and always greet clients with a smile from the room cleaners to the restaurant staff. The complex is very clean. The food and wine are good. They should open a pasta and pizza station. They had very fun themes for the suppers. The coffee shop should open at 7:00 a.m. or earlier. The last few days of our stay the elevator in our building was not functional until 8 or 8:30a.m. for early risers that was a problem when returning to our room as we were on the fifth floor. There is no beach so beware but you can go for a long walk towards other resorts, just watch out for high tide as there is a few places that you have to step over rocks and other things.

We went to celebrate my hubby’s and BIL ‘s birthdays and retirements. From the start to the end everything was great. All of the staff were so nice and helpful. Marcelo at the Boathouse is the best.
Although the weather was not our friend while we were there, the pools are nice and servers very attentive.
The food is very good. Liked the alternative lunch buffet to mix it up. The theme nights at The Boathouse were fun and food yummy. Marcello connected us with how to make the Mexican night extra special which was fun. The folks at JWB’s were wonderful for my hubby’s bday night by doing a little singing and celebration. You really can’t go wrong at any of the restaurants.
The grounds are impeccable and housekeeping is fantastic. LOVED the turn downs at night.
Literally my only issue I had was the overwhelming use of scents in the lobby and gift shop. I have asthma and that level of air fresheners triggers asthma attacks. That is where the lobby bar is so only spent one evening there with a mask. 😢
Would definitely recommend this place for a nice relaxing vacation.

This hotel was great! Smooth check in, enjoyed the experience of selecting your own mini bar and snack items, great food and drinks! This resort does not have a beach, so if you are looking for a sandy beach this would not be the place for you. However, there are three large pools with lots of seating and swim up bars!

Room was amazing. Third floor swim out was gorgeous and convenient. Own chairs, lounges and swing. Private. No food or drink accessible from room though. Have to be on ground floor for bars and food.

The resort is fabulous, staff really friendly and helpful. The lack of beach area was a disappointment, but the many pool areas were great. Entertainment around the pools was great. Room well maintained. In the kitchen area, food was great and plentiful. An issue with the toaster was frustrating. Bread had to be put through the toaster a number of times.

Our stay was average. I've stayed at other all inclusive resorts with much better service. The resort is beautiful and clean (with the exception of the restroom in JBW). We were upgraded upon arrival to a room with a sitting area, which we appreciated. The following morning we met our concierge (Ross) who was helpful getting us massages scheduled at the spa. Prior to meeting with Ross another gentleman made reservations for Frank & Lola's with no issue. Once we met with Ross and weren't interested in the 90 minute travel club presentation we suddenly couldn't get a reservation at the steakhouse.

The weather was cold so we only went to the pool a few times. If we wanted drinks we had to get them ourselves. There were servers who looked at us and just went by.

The buffet items were what you would expect. They food was good but you needed to add salt and pepper which needed to be requested as they weren't on the tables. Only a few occasions were staff attentive at the restaurants. Most of the time you had to flag someone down. One morning at the buffet we sat down without anyone acknowledging us for 15 minutes. The Landshark restaurant was had good food but again the service was not good.

We kept noticing the steakhouse was hardly full each night. We were told by the steakhouse host if we came back the following night at the same time the following night he could do something for us. We took him at his word and that was not the case until we insisted.

The best experience of my life. This was my first trip ever and I was worried since Iv never gone at an all inclusive but it was fantastic! The crowd is a bit only but there still so much to enjoy and do. THE STAFF ARE PHENOMENAL! Just absolutely amazing people, getting to meet each of them and do the experiences or games they offered with them was the cherry onto of an amazing stay!!! Johan the manager was absolutely amazing! The staff that did the activities and made the stay just a blast of the most amazing people you meet. The same can be said about the buffet staff, each of them were amazing! The resort is also great with allergy/food restrictions. I’m someone that has a lot but I wasn’t worried a bit.
Thank you for the absolutely amazing stay!

The top sirloin steak at the steakhouse was delicious! Never a problem to get chairs at the pool, we were there from Dec14 to Dec21/2025. I liked the Landshark bar. One of the nights there had the best band playing I’ve ever heard in Mexico resorts , I wish I knew the name of the band.They played music from the 70’s till now if memory serves me. The food overall was about the same as other resorts except for the bacon which was better then any all inclusive resort I’ve stayed at. I don’t think they deep fry it like other resorts, tasted like my bacon at home. All in all it was one of my favorite all in resorts I’ve stayed at , I’ve stayed at about 15 4/12 to 5 stars resorts in the past 10 years. I am a picky eater though. No beach to speak of but that didn’t bother me to much although I missed walking the beach to see other hotels. I would come back hear again and I don’t say that very often like maybe one other time.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The room was great; very clean with lots of space. The whole resort is beautiful, you can tell it is only a few years old. The staff were wonderful, very welcoming. We enjoyed the buffet meals for breakfast and dinner, and also loved the coffee shop. They give you points to spend at the shop to fill your mini-bar/room snack stash which was nice too. The best meals we had were at the Steakhouse restaurant, fantastic!
There isn’t a ton for entertainment choices in the evenings, but we happily spent the time at the Landshark brewery. They had live music and karaoke nights to go along with great beer.
The one negative we found was the temperature of the pools. We found them quite cold and didn’t spend much time in the water. Probably would have been more pleasant when paired with hotter weather. Overall though, we certainly recommend this resort and hope to come back one day!
