The room was not cleaned properly. Dust on the floor which had been there for a while.

No information on any of the properties facilities or even local places to eat.

Checked in at approximately 4 pm and they were shutting up.

This was the best decision for us, and literally saved us $2,000 on accomodation. We had a pool when it was hot, a roof and sun loungers, a gym, then in-room basic cooking and washing facilities, and aircon in both the sitting and bedroom areas. We were nice and cool for the heat wave. Our hosts were attentive and fast to respond to things (eg asked for more towels, more bowls). They also took advice on a couple of improvements. I was worried about noise, but with soft ear plugs I slept fine. It's a big city so is a bit noisy, but I couldn't hear the trains which was my main concern. It was a quick walk to everything: supermarket, coffee shop, tram, bus etc. If you want to have your basic needs met and save money, this is a great option. We stayed with our 21 year old daughter and she could go out as she wanted to see the nightlife, she was happy with our accomodations. If you don't mind a place where you get a service once a week (the housekeeping is not the same people as those who run the hotel), and your decor is a bit tired but completely clean and functional and it saves you a decent chunk of money? Highly recommend. I would stay again.

The couch was stained and there was horrible dust on the shelf behind the bed. The knooks and crannies were dirty and the whole room was run down. I would have given a lower score but the staff was great and the location was nice and it was helpful to have a washer and dryer

We stayed for 6 nights and it was fine, the area was great and being so close to the central station was fab, there are some nice restaurants and also a shopping centre with supermarket etc close by.
The accommodation itself was okay, we were in a studio and it could definitely do with some modernisation, it felt quite dark and basic. The bed was two singles pushed together, and the furniture was old and worn. The bathroom was quite tired, shower wasn't overly powerful and we had bugs that kept coming up the drain in the floor. The kitchen was adequate but lacked some basics - no drainer to try dishes, no drying towel, no sheets for the oven to put food on, everything just felt a bit old and dated and it lacked a few essentials.
Most of the bath towels we were given were also old and stained.
We felt it was expensive for what we got, although I think we may have paid inflated prices as our trip coincided with school holidays and a bank holiday.
In summary, it's fine for a quick trip or just somewhere to sleep.

Nesuto was clean and convenient with a comfortable bed. Felt like accommodation for international students so we were probably not the usual demographic. It was unfortunate that we were not informed in advance that reception closed at 4pm on weekends. We arrived at 5.15pm. Painful getting in.

Great inner city hotel

One night stay after arriving back to Australia before our final drive home. Nicely surprised by the size and comfort of the room. There was all the facilities needed for a longer stay, a well equipped kitchen and even a washing machine,dryer and laundry tub. The bed was super comfortable and we had a great nights rest. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we would use again.

Location is a nice balance between accessing the city core but not being in the middle of the busyness and activity.
Some of the kitchenware is worn out and a bit of age is showing. However we wouldn't hesitate to return and enjoy what the property offers.

Hotel is very close to everything we needed-shops, dining, transport. Very comfortable room, with plenty of space. The full kitchen and laundry is great for a longer stay. The upstairs outdoor/ pool area looked nice. Parking was very easy, with the secure attached parking garage. The pub around the corner was a good place to eat, but there are also a lot of other choices within a short walk. We will stay again.

Room was a great size. Had washer & dryer, free secure parking. Balcony with seating, kitchen, big tv, air con, block out curtains.
Staff were great.
Hotel is on the corner of a busy road so expect noise, not dead quiet.
Only ripe was there were no sheer curtains, only block outs, so buildings across the street can see directly into your room.

Comedy of errors

First the good. Great location, secure parking, good price, rooms dated & in need of refurbishment but comfortable.
The bad. Balcony dirty & covered in leaves with the main sliding door jammed shut. On 2nd night used washing machine & while eating dinner the bathroom and entire bedsit floor deeply flooded due to drain hose being disconnected from sink drain fitting. No concierge so told no rooms available and to get towels from service area & cover floor until morning (over 12 towels used). After later drying our feet and going to bed, later that night, a fire alarm in the apartment opposite was tripped & the whole building evacuated for an hour while fire brigade attended and checked the building safe. The next morning upgraded to a 1 bed apartment which was very clean & comfortable but with broken glass on bathroom floor (I cleaned up). During the room change we became locked out of the first room and luggage. We called the concierge who was very obliging but he to was locked out with electronic keys not working. He returned with maintenance staff and an emergency access key. We moved into the new room at about 11am having missed a number of appointments at Royal Price Alfred Hospital. Our last night was comfortable and uneventful. We have been offered no compensation.

The apartment was decent enough but not the 4 stars it received on Expedia when we booked. Location is central but expect a 10 minute walk to Redfern station or at least 20 mins to Central station. Our stay was spoiled by the old food smells in the apartment. I understand that management can't dictate what people cook but it did spoil what was supposed to be a celebratory weekend. When there is an unpleasant odour it also makes everything else feel less clean. We were not able to keep the balcony doors open to air the apartment out for long periods due to other guest smoking on their balconies and the traffic noise. One of our party arrived the Thursday and did make management aware of the smell and they sprayed the room. When I arrived on Friday it was still a problem and I spoke to management again and the room was sanitised again. We were out early on Saturday and came back too late to make them aware that it is still a problem. When I mentioned it again on Sunday we were offered a room change but by then it was too late as we were checking out on Monday. Apartment advertised as sleeping 3 - the beds in the room were fine but the sofa bed in the lounge area was really uncomfortable and the mattress super thin. Luckily, I am short and ended up just sleeping on the couch. I would not recommend this apartment for three guests. If you are looking for something close enough to city, airport and self-catering then this apartment is Ok (not 4 stars though).

We stayed here for 10 nights. The location was great for our needs, a short walk to the train/bus stops. The room was adequate but there was a shortage of things in the kitchen. There was no coffee maker, little cutlery and only 2 mugs. The location made up for the shortcomings. Next time I would ask for a quieter room at the far end of the building, not so close to Cleveland St.

Firstly the positive about this property - the staff. Reception staff were so wonderfully helpful and friendly they really made our stay a lot better. However unfortunately the property itself is not good. It’s incredibly noisy meaning no good nights sleep were had. The bedroom window was broken letting in more noise and heat. Aircon unit in the living room only which did nothing for the warmth of the bedroom. The lift to the top floor also broke during our stay and we had to find alternative ways out via the fire escape. Wouldn’t stay again. The only saving grace is the staff here!

We only stayed one night as we were attending a show near by. The room we had 102 was tried but clean. Major problem with the blind facing the main road. It was not only cheap but useless. A street light is right outside so our room as lite all night. It’s not the cheapest hotel but this needs to be addressed. Unlikely to return.

As always Nesuto was accommodating and comfortable. The property is perfect. The only problem is that the air conditioner periodically made a tapping sound on the walls that confused me and on the 3rd night the hot water had run out. It was fixed quickly though :). Lovely team at reception. Will always come back to this hotel

Reasonably convenient to Redfern Station. The unit floors were not very clean. The linens and kitchen were clean. The furniture and rugs were starting to look shabby. The a/c froze during the night and woke us with a great grinding noise and spit out ice. There was no coffee pot but the kind staff found one for our use.

The property management were nice and friendly.
The room we had was extremely dirty. You could tell that surface cleaning was done - clean towels, new supplies. But, actual cleaning had not been done in an extremely long time. Needed a light bulb in the bathroom - waited three days for an electrician to replace - fell out that evening! Not sure why an electrician was needed, but we were able to put bulb back in once we had a working one. Property has the potential to be nice, if it were maintained properly.

Fully self contained apartment. New carpets. Clean and cosy. Close to train station, 5-10 min walk. 15 min walk to Broadway shopping Centre. Bed was super comfortable. Sofa bed not so comfy, but they never are! Little balcony - able to dry washing on clothes rack. Also, a clothes dryer. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Pool, spa & gym looked lovely, but we didn’t have the time to use. There is a lovely cafe downstairs too. We would stay agin :)

Easy stay but no workers

We booked for the use of pool and spa
For a birthday get away.
No receptionist when arrived called a phone number on the glass a man came down explain about the tap key getting in and out but didnt include about use of the amenities or phone numbers for room service and any other needs.
Our room was nice. Unfortunately short of towels 2 towels for 3 guest was a bit ridiculous but no one at reception when i went back down and no phone number this time.
Went to use the pool, was not heated not was the spa and again couldn’t find any staff to turn on.
I tried the chat on this hotel app for service from motel but no one has replied.
No information in room for local things and food places in the area.
Sofa bad couch uncomfortable and cushion falling apart.

The staff were pleasant , helpful and very accommodating without needing any prompting .

The units need refreshing / updating which will make them more marketable and appear clean .
There is a few cockroaches around , which need a bit more diligence in cleanliness please.

Thank you overall , a good distance from the city , reasonable rate in comparison to other accommodation near the harbour/ICC on the weekend I was there .Eating places and mall / Woolworths 5-7 min walk .

Only problem is that most of the air conditioners in the rooms don't work. I've stayed here many times, and rarely do you get a room where the AC is functional. You'll cook in summer and freeze in winter here.

The units are very tired and definitely need some care but would not hesitate to stay here again if I needed a serviced apartment.

While the property was clean the lamp in the bedroom was broken, there was no running hot water in the bathroom sink and the lounge room/kitchen air conditioner needed urgent repair. When I reported the air conditioner I was told the job was logged. When I followed up the next day I was told there should be no air conditioning in the lounge room/kitchen, contrary to information about the property provided on Wotif. No fly screen doors were installed on the balcony, which made it difficult to leave the doors open for natural air flow.

The apartment waslight and airy and equipped with everything we needed for our stay.
The bed is big and comfortable.
I didn't use the well equipped gym but managed a swim in the rooftop pool which was jut the right temperature.
I will definately stay here again.

Had such a terrible time here i left 2 weeks early.
So noisy at night from neighbouring apartments.
Although signs say no noise after 10pm there are no staff to police this.
Sounded like apartment above was doing renovations late into the night.

Whilst they were able to accomodate an early check in, the room was in horrible condition. It was dirty and greasy, with stains on the bedding and couch. There we are lot of cockroaches - all through the bathroom and kitchen. I ended up cancelling my booking and going somewhere else.

Pack shampoo, spa isn't heated anymore.

I like this place. Cheap and close to the city. I have chosen it before because of the rooftop pool and spa but they no longer heat the spa. I am sure there was shampoo and conditioner before I guess they aren't supplying it anymore due to COVID so pack your own. They might have it on request but I didn't ask.

Good apartment/hotel to stay if you plan to have an extended visit/stay in Sydney. Well located near transit/subway transportation, shops, and restaurants. Very quiet area and building. Extremely nice and accommodating staff. We appreciated the early check-in courtesy after a long 8-hour flight. Spacious room in the one bedroom suite with handy kitchen, bathroom and washer and dryer. The unit we were in is quite dated all over and is in serious need of upgrades (especially for the nightly rate charged). Good satellite TV. Adequate pool and gym on the roof. Too bad that the BBQs on the roof have been removed. This fact should be edited on the websites. Adding a floor fan in the unit would be a plus since there is no AC in the bedroom portion. Recommended for those planning an extended stay in Sydney.

Brilliant place to stay, only a short walk to the Redfern train station, get yourself an opal card & you can travel to central station where you can catch trains to all destinations around Australia, or get off at circular quay and travel all around the city, a real great transport set up, would definitely stay there again, and very affordable.

This property was a great choice.
Close to central station and central park mall with supermarkets.
it was great having the ability to cook my own meals so i didn't have to eat out every meal.
The room was very clean, and staff very helpful and friendly.
The rooftop is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the sun.
The only thing is that the gym is not 24/7 like stated, it is only open 8am-8pm along with the pool. It is your typical small hotel gym so there is not a lot of equipment if you're going to work out at a busy time.
Would definitely book again.

I stayed in this apartment many times before & I always found this place great(the location is great for Sydney sightseeing) but found the staff were more friendlier, helpful & efficient than the previous stay. A neat and clean little unit which was ideally located to the venue for our weekend. Beds were comfy and had all the essentials. Great central location would definitely stay again.

Location to food and sights of Sydney is perfect. You can walk everywhere. It is an easy walk from Central Station if coming from the Airport Train. The people at reception are friendly and helpful. The apartments are dated but clean, and the bed was comfortable. The Wifi has only a small allowance and is a bit intermittent. Best of all the parking is secure, in the basement and is free.
