The room was clean. Not consistent with cleaning times. Staff needed to be more authoritative with unruly behaviour by guests. It’s too bad that there’s only one pool, since someone pooped in the pool. Pool was to open at 8:00am, but people were going down as early as 7:30 to save spots and leaving.

Room and view was good. Food was terrible. Service was mediocre. Lots of winers, people complained about every little thing. No music around pool. So we had a little Bluetooth speaker (that we bought from the onsite gift store) we used by the pool, not even loud, people complained. We had a group of 10, 2 of them got up from their pool chairs to get a drink, another couple tried taking there seats, they flipped out and went and cried to staff that we were hogging chairs and it “wasn’t

The staff were great and we enjoyed the food. However this is not the place if you have kids over the age of 6? And under 18. The surf simulator is open for 1 hour a day which is obviously a giant line up and 1 turn. The rock climbing wall wasn’t even opened? We expected that the kids would be able to do that all week. Paying for the preferred club if you have children under 13 means that you cannot dine in the preferred club restaurants with them or pool which is more understandable. The preferred club family suite is in fact 2 adjoining rooms. You could save $3000 by booking 2 preferred club rooms instead.
The dinner reservations for over 4 people are wild. I won’t get in to the details but it was pretty disappointing and a lottery. I think if you went as a couple and paid for the preferred club it would be lovely. Groups or kids I would not recommend at all! That’s just my experience. I’ve never left a resort review and have been to many in this price point but I would have appreciated this feedback.

The entertainment and food was lacking at this resort. Our teenagers were bored. Also, we stayed in a Preferred Club suite on the top floor, which is below the rooftop bar/restaurant. They must clean it during the night because we heard chairs scraping the floor above us from 2-5am every night. We are loyal to the Secrets brand but this will be the last Dreams we choose for our family of 5.

Stayed at Dreams Vista to attend a wedding. The room was by far the highlight of the hotel, it was spacious, clean and the view was amazing. Our favourite part was waking up to the sun and view. We had preferred access to the rooftop pool and restaurants which I think were significantly better than the restaurants available to everyone so I recommend getting the preferred access if possible because my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our steak dinner. Overall this resort is a family resort and caters more to kids. The beach is small but loved the surfing simulator even though it's only available for 2 hours of the day. Service was above and beyond and i really appreciated that!

The shower had black mold. Was not and has not been cleaned properly. I did try to rinse walls from glass where mold was and wash as much down drain. As well some days maid would come other days we would need to call for service. Same goes for bar service in room some days they would come other days we would need to ask. We found food was not good. We did have some days meals were better than others. This is not the standards of a Dreams property. Resort suggested we use Amstar for private pick up and return to airport. Well the pick up no one had our names down for us. Many people did try to help us and finally someone directed us to pole 43. No apology or anything after looking for transportation for almost 40 minutes we left airport. Same thing on departure days says driver has arrived but he did not arrive. The Amstar guy on location was very helpful and did find us another ride as fast as

This hotel is not a 5star hotel. Staff was good but unfortunately the whole experience is barely a 3.5 star! And we were Preferred Club. I could no imagine not being in it. Food in the reservation restaurants was very good! But it was super hard to get reservations. Buffet was terrible for any of the meals. Hard to have a good breakfast with the whole family.The Bluewater (Rooftop Preferred Club restaurant) was the only good option for breakfast and lunch however they don’t allow kids so that was useless for us. Food around the pool was terrible. A couple of restaurants were closed. Drinks were NOT from a 5 star category. Room house keeping service was NOT a 5 star category. There were days that by around 4 pm they had not cleaned our room yet. So we wanted to relax with the kids before going to dinner and the room was not ready yet. A lot of situations that was not smooth and not relaxing as a 5 star AT ALL!!!!

The room was great, the food was good. But despite high price and paying for the preferred VIP package there was a push for upselling dinner meals, excursions, and day beds. We tried room service twice and both times the order was wrong and took 1.5 to 2 hours so we didn’t try after that. The kids club and kids park was amazing the staff was good for that. But for the high price and understaffing, I would choose a different hotel/resort next time

This property is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Without traffic about a 30min drive from airport. The rooms were very spacious and clean with large balconies. Room views area beautiful and all face south. So many restaurants and drink bars/lounges to choose from. The preferred club is a nice perk! Rooftop access plus better quality drinks and dinning options. Most staff members were very friendly throughout stay. However, asking for any accommodations were not received well when dining. (Example: Restaurant seating preference when restaurants are nearly empty). Staff should learn to meets guest needs without attitudes. If your going for ocean blue water beach experience this location is not desirable. Water is full of seagrass and is green in color vs ocean blue. Definitely a rooftop pool or ground level pool experience hotel. This hotel is kid friendly! I actually enjoyed being around responsible adults vs adult only hotels with alcohol fueled, loud and overly obnoxious adults. Will I return again, absolutely!

I start by saying we have been to Cancun six times so we have a pretty accurate feel as compared to other areas. We have have stayed at another Dreams location and this was a very disappointing experience as compared to the other facilities.

The good. Nightly activities were very entertaining especially the fire show. The fact that the family room was two adjoining rooms with a door gave much needed privacy. The view from the room was amazing. I am not sure there could be a bad view from the location as most overlooked the ocean. The rooms were very modern and clean. The staff that cleaned the rooms did a phenomenal job. I don’t think we have ever had a nighty turn down service but it was also a very nice touch. The food at the reservation locations was overall pretty good. We visited the coffee shop daily. Was a nice touch that it was included in the package. The pool food restaurant and bar were also convenient and tasty.

The bad. I was angered daily by the preferred club option. Why should I pay an up charge for beach views, and almost any amenity? The buffet food option was just sub par food and slow service with little variety. Only one included pool. The beach was not good. Smelly, small, and limited seating. Don’t be deceived by 6 restaurants. You get 3 included and the buffet. This location also does not have blue water. The day activities were laughable. Spend a little extra and go to the Fives in Playa Del Carmen for great food, pools, beach

Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort is a beautiful property with stunning views and modern amenities. However, my experience with the staff was hit or miss, some were warm and welcoming, while others felt less attentive. The biggest disappointment for me was the food, which overall was quite bland and didn’t meet expectations for an all-inclusive. The only standout was the sushi, which was surprisingly fresh and flavorful. While the resort itself is lovely, I felt the service consistency and dining options could be much improved.

Overall, I had a good experience at the hotel. The service was fantastic, and the staff was always friendly and attentive. The air conditioning in my room did give me some trouble, which was a bit uncomfortable at times.

The food was hit or miss — breakfast was absolutely amazing, and the Prime Meat restaurant was excellent. However, the rest of the dining options were disappointing, especially the Mexican night, which did not meet expectations.

Preferred club not worth it at all. Check in was slower then the normal check in. Could not even give us 2 room keys. Told us we needed to walk to front desk to get them instead of them getting them for us. Tried to just sell us time share in the preferred check in. Rooms were not ready on time. Had to wait an hour after check in time to come back to check into second room for our kids. Spa was excellent had couples massage and daughter had a facial done. Very pleased with staff in spa. Could not get reservations for the restaurants besides 1 night unless you got on app right at midnight to reserve. Buffet ended up being the meal most nights. We got tired of Buffett food and left resort twice to just eat different food. My wife and I have stayed at many Secrets resorts without kids and have always been pleased with staff and resort besides a few hiccups. I would recommend a different Dreams resort for kid friendly environment.

There was a great restaurant and that was an Asian restaurant, all vip restaurants you couldn't even get into they were always booked all the enclosed restaurants were very hot and lacked ceiling fans the staff everywhere was very nice professional and accommodating the resort was very very clean the water in the bathroom could have been hotter it was always room temperature the room ac was excellent.

Lucrecia and Portofino restaurants were a bright spot. Vista Prime was disappointing. The app is confusing and way too restricting for all inclusive. Room service was very restricted. We had two rooms for 5 people and room service limit to 6 items where coffee counts as an item...if there is to be a limit then it should be per person. The pool was nice and the margaritas were great.

This was a hard miss for us. It says 5 star, but we would rate it a 3 star. First off, the way that the hotel is set up is odd. It’s extremely windy once you hit the bottom of the elevator by the kids area and I had vertigo bc of it.
Staff is friendly all around except the front desk, they just seem to not want to do the work if it requires you to do it.

The property is very good and clean. The staff and service is excellent too. Their is some dirty muddy standing water at the back of the hotel (not connected) that looks very bad and spoils the hotel’s beauty.

The food is good at some restaurants and average in others so they definitely need to improve in that area. Lot of options so you will end up finding something you like.

The beach was small and not clean- so couldn’t enjoy that but we enjoyed our plunge pool in the room, the infinity pool, kids pool and water park.

The property is beautiful. We enjoyed the restaurants, beach, pool, gym. All very nice. The check in process was frustrating. We were told to wait until 3 to book anything and to get the room number. Then 3 rolled around and nothing was available and they said they wouldn't give us our room card because the room was still being \"stocked.\" We finally got our card at 3:12 (they were being petty with minutes so I will be too). Then we went to go book a massage with the $200 hotel credit they said we had but were told we can only use $40 of the credit at a time on a massage. The massages were really expensive ($250+) so in actuality, there's no hotel credit.
Then we were exhausted so we went back to our room around 9:15 in the evening. Our next door neighbors also came back and were having a huge fight. They were screaming for over an hour and we could hear every word, sniffle, movement they made. The rooms are not sound proof ... at all. We didn't complain, we just turned up the TV and went to sleep when they were done yelling.
We did enjoy our stay so it's not all negative - we love the restaurants + wait staff + beach + beautiful/clean gym.
I think we would choose to stay some place else next time due to check in experience and noisy room though. Spending that much money to be taken advantage of doesn't feel nice.

We stayed a week in a resort. it was a great time. beach for a family with kid was great, not small (we very worried at first). Drinks and food were excellent. Great servers, chefs. Special thank you for Alejandro in Tepaniaki and delicious taco stand outside by Moisei.
Rooms were cleaned twice a day, we were constantly were offered drinks. There was a good show peogram. Hotel needs to work on their disco program. And dancing would be nice.Not with rap music, but Mexican/spanish vibes.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Dreams Vista. The resort is beautifully designed with excellent attention to detail. The view is fantastic, and the pools are nice. Although the rooftop pool was often not as clean as we liked it to be, which might be due to the fact that it’s smaller. We also loved the nightly entertainment. The food options were also decent for an all-inclusive resort. Although we did not enjoy all the food options, we could always manage to find something to enjoy. We liked the drink options, although we believe the alcohol was watered down. The staff were friendly. Some work on the beach area would be nice.

## Title: Disappointing Experience with Room Assignment and Food Quality
## Review:
I recently stayed at the Dreams Vista Cancun Resort & Spa, and unfortunately, my experience was marred by some significant issues. Despite booking a room with two queen beds, I was assigned a room with only one king bed. To make matters worse, I was given a connected room, which was not part of my original booking.

## Room Assignment Issues
The room assignment was a major letdown. I had specifically requested a room with two queen beds to accommodate my family, but the room I was given fell short of my expectations. The connected room was an added inconvenience, and I wish the staff had been more attentive to my needs.

## Food Quality
The food at the resort was another area where they fell short. While the variety of options was decent, the quality of the food was not up to par. I was disappointed by the lack of attention to detail in the culinary offerings.

## Staff and Overall Experience
Despite the issues with my room and the food, the staff at the resort was generally friendly and helpful. However, their inability to get the basics right, such as room assignments, left a sour taste in my mouth.

Overall a nice resort. Food is hit or miss. Beach is very small and rocky. The golf course is very nice if you plan on playing.

I loved the people that work in this resort they make you feel like royalty!!
Workers that work In the kitchen, restaurant, bar, housekeeping, keeping the hotel clean including the bathrooms all over the hotel the guy who was making fresh juices in the morning, the lady that makes omelets, etc they all were amazing!!!
I have never stayed in a hotel that made me feel this special and so comfortable like the Dreams vista Cancun resort!
It is toooo bad that the beach in this hotel was horrible!! we weren’t able to go in the ocean:(
