I could not use my pillows because they smelled like sweat or some sort of bad body odor. Why would a Hilton hotel have stinky pillows? That's just not acceptable!

I tried covering them with a large towel so I didn't smell that bad odor. I thought about calling the front desk to request fresh/new pillows or pillow cases but it was a bit late and I was super tired. Also my room was average. I was not impressed or excited about it. And I hated the carpet.

I was a bit disappointed because I was expecting more from a Hilton affiliate.

Also, I read somewhere that the breakfast was complimentary, but when I got there I was told that it was not complimentary. Another disappointment.

Also, after my shower there was water dripping from the light fixture in the ceiling of the bathroom. Not good. Too many off-putting incidents. I don't think I'll go back if I can help it.

Nice hotel in a great area!

This is our second time staying here. It’s a perfect spot because it has all the shops around it and a little area where Kidz can play out front of the hotel. And lots of kids come there to play so it was a lot of fun for my son to meet some kids while we stayed at the hotel.
The staff especially James was super nice and friendly! The service was great all around and even the little pool was nice to get in during the hot day. We’ll definitely come back and stay again!

My new favorite place to stay

Have family that relocated from the northern side of Charlotte to the Matthews area so tried this hotel for our weekend visit. The staff was friendly and helpful, the property was beautiful. The onsite breakfast buffet was kept clean and stocked, the staff was terrific (thank you, Sandra, for being so wonderful with my Dad!!) and the food was delicious. We will be back!
