The room was disgusting. It smelled so bad (from cigarettes) I had to eat my dinner in my car. There was a hair in the bed that looked like pubes, and the room was disgusting. I had a room for a second night but cut my trip short and left. I showered as soon as I got home and washed the clean clothes I had taken because they stink if that room.

This property is roach infested every way you look that was a roach in both buildings in all three buildings. There were roaches. Please do not go here. It’s unsuitable to even have children there messes with your breathing and all that stuff I killed for them roaches.

You have to ask for room service. I asked twice and never got any. You can hear everything happening in the halls as the doors aren’t sealed properly, no hot water for 2 days. No breakfast. Other than that the room was okay at best. Some lady threw a basketball at my truck. She was tweaked out and after I got out to confront her she started dancing and didn’t even care. I think they live at the hotel which is crazy to me. I might just of had terrible luck with this hotel but that was my experience and I don’t usually write reviews but I had to on this one. I’ve stayed in over 100 hotels and this one was by far the weirdest.

I left after being in the room for 2 minutes due to bed bugs, dirt all over the room, a mysterious giant black spot on the wall, appliances ripped off the wall that were never fixed, and not just the room but the entire building smelled of cigarettes. Both you guys or red roof denied me my refund that I ABSOLUTELY DESERVE TO GET! I WILL NEVER USE RED ROOF OR EXPEDIA EVER AGAIN!

I have stayed in many motels in my life time . Some where you get what you pay . This property is the worse in my 64yrs . First room had no microwave. Ok bring one to the room . Nope I’m switching you . Next room, TV would not work , room unclean staff actually cleaned by they were trying to fix the TV . I have to move you. Room number three no power to tv and half the room . Room number 4 TV worked (yeah) went to take a shower after three hours of trying to check in . Shower doesn’t work . Unreal . You can hold the handle and get some water . Room had a sink doesn’t work out of light bulbs . This is not made up it’s 100 percent the truth . I went to do laundry at this hotel . Washer was empty washed my clothes . Went to put clothes in the dryer someone left the clothes 2 hrs and half later I’m still waiting . Went to the staff three times for help . I frigging took the clothes out myself and dryerd my clothes . Please Please bypass this hotel . I’m

There isn't a full kitchen there was a refrigerator. Which was beneficial for me packing and preserving my insulin. The front desk charges you if you come to check in early. That's the first hotel I've ever experienced that at. I just lost a family member I only needed to change my clothes. There was no sympathetic response in any regard. I am from Virginia. But I live in Florida now every time I've come home to visit I stayed at that hotel which used to be called mulberry inn. I had better service when it was nearby ran down then I did this time. Sad. Overall the hotel is nice it's in a decent location.

It needs to be torn down and rebuilt. The people they let stay there and work there are horrible and it is ROACH INFESTED!!! A pest control person can’t fix that. And then they still haven’t sent my money back after I had pictures of that and the period blood on the second bed!!! They took the money and they said they will do a refund but how long? I had to pay for another place.

first room we were put in we had to immediately be taken out of and put into another room because of how dirty and miskept it was. there were huge dead worms on the floor. the new room was not much better- no vent in the bathroom and rather than cover the hole in the ceiling there was just a huge hole and spiders and bugs came thru throughout our stay. i would never stay here again. not to mention i’m still to get my security deposit back from my stay.

We had high hopes based on photos that this would be a reasonable visit. Never expected perfect, but at least clean and operational. The check in lounge seemed decent. But the room? The floor was so dirty I'm unsure it had been mopped anytime in the last month, we had to clean it to assure our pet could walk on it without getting sick. There was rotting previous tenant garbage under the sink and the television was stuck on a loading screen that didn't respond to any button on the remote. The room had a lingering stench of cigarette smoke the entire visit.

We are thankful we had our own blankets and pillows, I can only imagine how well anything else was maintained. This was a one night stay and it would have been too much of a hassle on our tight timeline to get a new room or have someone come clean it so we did it ourselves to be sure we were not late to our appointments in town.

But it was absolutely was disgusting, we should have known better with Red Roof. Lesson Learned.

We were visiting for the night & as soon as we got into the room the floor was slippery, the toilet had no water, the bed sheets had cigarette burns, WEED STEMS on the bed, CAT HAIR on the chairs (I’m highly allergic), and the room smelt like cigarettes. Not to mention the hallway smelt like cigarettes & so warm like there wasn’t A/C. The front desk guy showed us another room and upon doing so, those lights weren’t working (had a sign on the light switch don’t turn on lights) neither was the A/C. Horrible. He wouldn’t refund us so He transferred us to the neighbor hotel (I guess they’re connected somehow?) but there was NO A/C in the hotel!!! We walked into our room and we had to turn on this OLD A/C unit & our bathroom had a used towel. Horrible experience!

Wasn’t impressed at all. The pictures of the hotel are not up to date at all. Everything is old and overly used. The hotel is extremely overpriced for the condition it is in.smh holes with poor patch work in the walls and bathroom doors. The couch was so filthy so I couldn’t even touch it, the mattress was filthy with brown stains all over it and it was nothing but drug addicts coming in and out of the hotels.smh I wish I could have given zero stars.smh and the rooms come with the thinnest sheet on the bed, the whole hotel was just a joke and need to be shut down.smh

Was told that I couldn’t get the room I originally booked for “maintenance” and they “upgraded” me to the hotel next to it, they made it sound “better” than the original one I booked for. Come to find out, fridge doesn’t work, it flooded, tv didn’t work, it had a smell.

The room was not clean upon our arrival two hours after check in. There was hair in the shower and a person’s shirt on the back of the bathroom door. There were ashes in the drawers and tobacco on the floor. The floors were noticeably not sweep and linen not fresh. The TV didn’t work and there were roaches constantly in the kitchen area. The office refunded one night for the TV and said the management company don’t give a hell about the property and the inspector along with the housekeeping staff are relatives of the owners who don’t do their jobs. We had to clean the whole place top to bottom to even be comfortable enough to stay and requested fresh linen and towels immediately. This place is for people on hard times looking for a cheap extended stay. This is not recommended for family vacation. It should honestly be shut down. If you’re trying to save money, remember that you get what you pay for and honestly this wasn’t even worth the money I paid.

The shower curtain was black with mildew, no trash can, the blinds were broken and hanging down, the tub had hair in it, the beds were made up tacky and upon inspection hair on the sheets and pillows. I told my children don’t touch anything and didn’t even want the dogs to touch the floor. Overall the property is nice, easy- fast - access to Busch Gardens (about 10 miles) -appearing to be partially complete in a apparant rennovation upgrade, with options like the game room currently to be filled, and no pool yet available.
Summary - good for a clean no thrills value stay, with potential.

Never again, not to save a dollar!

First when we arrived they said they were an extended stay which it was not advertised as such. Then they put us in a room that smelled absolutely awful. I'll leave it to the imagination as to what was all over the walls. Then we were provided another room which was much cleaner and smelled better. Then Ill assume that extended stay customers literally were having tented parties in the parking lot. At 230 in the morning someone began beating on the room door for well over an hour. When such person was let in from his visit to the gentleman's club that was with in walking distance the couple argued loudly for another hour !

I ended up finding a different place to stay. When I got to my new hotel I had three people tell me even the super cheap people don’t stay at the Red roof inn. There was big chunks of paint missing off several walls in the room. The whole upstairs heavily smelled like marijuana. The stairs had a fowl smell. I don’t think there was an elevator at least that I saw. The bed was very uncomfortable when I sat on it. I did NOT like arriving after checkin time & finding that they did or did not have a room ready.1st room assigned, 111, I think, became unavailable because not ready but it showed ready in their computer. Staff discussed this among themselves. I eventually was given room 201. I did NOT like being awakened at 2:50AM by someone tapping on my door telling me I had to move from the room, some such nonsense, he seemed under impression I was not in the right room. I told him about confusion at checkin, he left. 2:10 AM? Huh? I had a 5 hour drive in the morning and I had to endure being awakened because someone on staff had made an error in scheduling, room assignments, names, whatever? When I told the woman on duty this AM as I left at a little after 8AM, she didn't seem especially concerned. Facility is fine, my experience was awful. Perhaps a review of scheduling, record keeping is in order.

We were tenants over 30 days and was late in the day with the payment, she wouldn't give us a break and ultimately tried to put us off the property without taking proper legal action. She called the police on us and everything and she was wrong and the officer let her know she was wrong. She never apologized either.

One of the best Red Roofs I've stayed at in a while. Not much in the area for food/shopping/entertainment etc, however it's only a short easy drive to find. Staff was very kind. Rooms were updated and clean. Bed was a little uncomfortable and noisy but there's really no bed as comfortable as your own. The hotel was very clean and smelled clean as well. We will definitely stay here again.

People live at this property! We were told this is an \"extended\" stay hotel. There was a guy barely able to stand up intoxicated leaning on the front door.

Our room was dirty. No towels, stains on blankets and sheets, black dust coming out of AC unit. TV remote broken, leak in bathroom ceiling, room smelled like marijuana and dirty feet. Our second room was the same except kids and adults were screaming all hours of the night.

People in parking lot lurking around cars in and out of the woods all hours of the night. No safe parking.

Maintenance and front desk lady said that people live here and it is an extended stay hotel.

Nice staff, not nice otherwise

The staff was friendly enough, however we did check out the next morning, a day early due to the conditions of the room. It was not clean, with the cabinet panel under the sink falling out middle of the night. The toilet also wouldn't fill on its own. Our door was next to the stairwell and you could hear each and every person coming in all night. The stairwell did not have a keyed entry. They did not offer a refund for the early leave either.

Room was dirty. Sheets and blankets were stained. Hall was very noisy. Someone had a dog in their room that barked a lot
