From start to finish Zoetry exceded our expectations. We were sent to another resort we were unhappy with and got relocated to Zoetry by Expedia. As soon as we arrived we were greated by our concierge Dio who went above and beyond all week. The grounds were gorgeous and the beach was perfect. Our room was so pretty and was on the beach which was what I wanted. Room service was a nice feature which we used for breakfast. The food was amazing! The complementary horseback riding was also really enjoyable. We dealt with 2 different people named Juan Carlos who were both awesome. I cannot say enough how much we loved this resort. We highly recommend.

Such an amazing stay at Zoetry PC. There was so much attention to detail from the staff, amenities, and ambiance. I recommend this place for anyone who wants a boutique atmosphere. There is no music or party vibes. It's a peaceful oasis that has a very 1-on-1 environment. The food quality is outstanding for an all-inclusive resort. No buffets or food sitting under hot lamps. Every single dish is prepared fresh for you. You can make special requests & substitutions that are welcomed by the staff. The bartenders will make you specialty cocktails or recreate your favorite drink.

This is not a cookie-cutter resort. You get what you pay for.

Top dinner cuisines in order.
Caribbean, Mexican, Asian fusion, steakhouse, Italian.
Didn't get to try Mediterranean.

My Wife and I were looking for a truly relaxing peaceful time and that is Exactly what we found at Zoetry. The joy of being on the beach and actually hearing the sound of the Ocean as opposed to the constant thumping of music brought us great joy. Walking the grounds of the place has a very magical feeling. I cannot say enough how gentle this place feels. The staff is so sincerely kind. Some honorable mentions include: Octavio \"Exec Chef\" Alejandro \"Concierge\" wait staff \"Wilca, Natali, Johanna, Mayra, Rosa, Oliver, Sory and Elizabeth at check out. These are the names We were able to remember but every staff member we came across was warm/kind/helpful if needed. We send the entire staff a heartfelt Thank You for making our stay something memorable.

This was an incredible resort. It was not your typical overcrowded corporate resort. It had a boutique feel that we really appreciated. The beach was lovely and we could always find chairs and an umbrella. They also had activities each day that I would recommend attending. Gabriel thought a hat making class that was really neat. (You won’t be able to take the hat back into the U.S. though) We also participated in a cigar rolling class and several drink tastings. They put on shows each night and I would highly recommend the circus night. Be sure to bring bug spray. There are some mosquitoes that come out at night. I would definitely visit again.

I traveled to Zoetry with 2 adults, 3 kids and 2 elderly adults. We stayed in their new 3 bedroom villa and it was wonderful. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our concierge, Amada was available via whatsapp everyday to answer questions, make reservations or set anything up in our room. Frank, Jubie, Manuel, Sory and Oliver were stand out employees.

Although there is not buffet option, the cooks are able to accommodate every food option you desire. It is a formal sit-down meals kinda place but this is all about the luxury and relaxed experience. Snacks are also available at the pool and room service is 24 hours. The only downside I found was that the pool is not accessible. So, if you're traveling with anyone who needs steps to enter the pool you will have a hard time.

The spa is great and the jacuzzi and spa facilities are available to all guests. Fully stocked bar and snacks in the room every day and mosquito spray and toiletries are well stocked. I would definitely travel here again.

The property is beautiful. Everything was amazing. Customer service is absolutely one of the best and Alejandro was our concierge. He did such an amazing job and he recommended a lot of beautiful stuff to do during the day. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet refreshing time with yourself.
The main reason for our visit was to celebrate my best friend‘s birthday, and he made it very special. Everybody was celebrating her. It was such a beautiful experience.

I liked quietness, cleanliness, and services at the room and restaurants. Also, the excellence of JJ, always available to help us, he is very professional!
I did not like the tour to Dream hotel. They should told me the true before to schedule an appointment for me to go there.
Another thing regarding food options would be to have the traditional Dominican plates always available. In our first trip, that aspect was excellent. They asked what did we want to eat….!in this trip, when I have asked for plantains, tostones, mofongo they have told they don’t have and offered mash potatoes.
To re schedule transportation to the airport should be more help from that company since my trip was paid in Miami and it was a round trip.

The most fun and perfect vacation our family has ever had. The resort was beautiful, the service was unmatched, and the staff was incredible. Our concierge became like family to us during our stay- if anyone has worked with Jose Simeon, you will never be in better hands. He, and the rest of the staff were there for us with any request, any recommendation, and anything to make our stay more fun and relaxing. The wellness aspect of the resort is what resonated the most with the 5 of us- we brought our 3 teenagers with us, and they loved every second of it. the food was incredible, mixing various fare from around the world each night in beautiful restaurants. Our food servers and staff (Maria (manager), Millennia, Johanna, Elvis, and Manuel served with care and excellence, and always with a smile (and well placed jokes) that made us feel so comfortable and cared for. The villa we had was out of this world- and if a minor issue popped up, someone was there in minutes to take care of it. We will be returning to Zoetry properties around the world, and Zoetry Punta Cana will definitely be a return visit. This vacation brought our family together, and we will never forget all of the days on the beach in the ocean, in the pools (especially the swim-up bar), the many activities and fun adventures that were offered every day. We did not participate in the many excursions, as they were expensive, and honestly, we didn't need to leave the property with everything they offer. 5-star!!!

FIVE STARS FOR STAFF AND SERVICE, BUT NOT FOR THE BUG BITES

Zoetry Agua, I don't usually write reviews. The five-star review goes to your staff. My husband has been talking about this resort for the last five years, and he wanted me to experience what he enjoyed five years ago with his family.

The hotel looks like paradise, not a commercial apartment complex, which I liked. It is serene and quiet, super relaxing. The staff hustles; Luis, Rodrigus, and all the service staff are fantastic.

We treated them right, and they treated us right back. We enjoyed everything except the excruciating bites that ate us alive. I am angry at how the establishment handles bug infestations: from the rooms to dead seaweed on the beach. The waves dump the seaweed on shore, creating a breeding ground for gnats and mosquitoes. They need to come up with a better solution than two people cleaning it by hand.

I called Expedia for $248.00 reimbursement which should have been hotels responsibility to care for medical fees and addressed the bug bites. Instead of taking our concern as genuine positive criticism, the hotel management went into defensive mode. They said they upgraded our room because of the fly issue, but the upgrade was offered generously at check-in (the hotel had very few guests). I will not go back until there is a sign stating that the issues are being addressed.

Cons: There were bedbugs and the staff was unconcerned. They acted as if we were crazy for being concerned luckily we had brought our own sheet protectors so we were able to endure the 3 nights. They did not keep up with the pool inflatables. There was very limited dining options. The WiFi was only good in the master room of our villa so that was frustrating. They also use WhatsApp to communicate with you. I also contracted food poisoning on 2nd night so for our final day I lay in bed in pain. My daughter also contracted it. The rest of the family was good so we assume it was the chicken. The area is isolated so be prepared.

Pros: our concierge did have a cake made to celebrate my daughter’s graduations so that was nice. The pool was well maintained. The beach was nice but not as pretty as Aruba. The area is quiet when the workers are not out

We had a generally positive experience during our four-night stay at the hotel. However, there was an unfortunate incident that we initially overlooked but has been distressing for my husband. He was bitten by bedbugs or another pest, resulting in red spots appearing all over his body during our stay, which continued to appear after we returned home.

The property is beautiful the swimup room was gorgeous. I arrived the reservation wasn't in the system correctly. I booked an ATV excursion it took the entire day. I was told to leave at 10 am and return by 3:30 that was incorrect I sat at the Bavaro excursion park 2 hours before the ATV ride and we couldn't drive fast because the buggies was mixed with the Polaris drivers which the Polaris is a faster ATV it was awful. The food was cold no customer service at all. I booked a Romantic dinner for my Fiancé for $250 I was sat at a high top table in the wine cellar. My transportation wasn't what I paid for or booked. This was a waste of my money. This was a special occasion ruined. I trusted Expedia website.

The property is very well maintained, restaurants are beautiful, rooms are gorgeous, luxurious feel to it.

We disliked the beach at the resort, not good for swimming (big waves, cold water) and limited activities. If you want to go relax it’s a great option, but for the more adventurous travelers, I would not recommend this resort.

Staff is friendly and wonderful, hardworking. Amada was an exception hostess she checked in daily to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

I would absolutely NOT recommend the Marinarium Snorkeling Cruise they provide through a third party, it’s like an aqua zoo, not a fun experience at all.

Good experience all together but will not necessarily come back or recommend to friends.

1) Non accessible 3rd floor room, the wood stairs that are extremely small and unstable.
2) No internet connection and room service.
3) No Smart TV and any english channel, Scale does not work.
4) No English speaking employees.All employees are rude and hostile.
5) No safe water is available for brushing teeth.
6) The room was unsanitary and had insects, such as mosquitoes, lizards, tarantulas, spiders, worms, etc.
7) The hot tub was not working
8) We found a big tarantula in our room.
9) I filmed the top of bed with a drone and The room was filled with garbage, including dead animals, empty alcohol bottles, dirt, plastic debris, dust, plastic packaging food, spider nets, and all other types of garbage.
10) Dirty pool and reconstruction in all property
11) Beach photos in Expedia is totally misleading.
12) Showers and steam rooms are not functioning
13) No pest control in all hotel grounds, animal waste around the floors
14) We were mentally drained and sought medical intervention due to the presence of tarantula in the room, unclean environment, and mosquito bites.
15) There were no all inclusive services as promised, such as music or pool service, that were attempted to be served by gardeners.
16) The soy sauce for sushi was provided in unsanitary conditions - bottled up in empty plastic water bottles with a hole in the lid.
17) They gave us 4 nights gift certificate to compensate all issues. However, they know we will not go!

A great resort off the beaten track

This was a great resort outside of the main busy tourist traffic of Punta Cana, but still with all the great facilities. We had the ocean view suite which was stunning, and we used the balcony even when there was bad weather outside. The pools were lovely, the grounds were immaculate, the restaurants and bars were great. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is beautiful and the service is excellent. There's not a lot going on. So if you want to stay up partying this place probably isn't for you. The food is pretty good. It's not blow your mind good, but we enjoyed most dishes. We did have an issue with our balcony hot tub not working. They kept telling us it would be fixed, but never was. Given that I still would stay here again and recommend it to others.

To be honest, the hotel is overcharging its guests, we stayed at a villa (one of the most expensive rooms) and had issues since the day we arrived, the master shower was clogged so in order to shower you have to be closing the water and wait for it to swallow
In another room ( the villa has 3 rooms) they had to switch a toilet because it wasn’t working and in the other room the bathroom had blood stains on the floor and it was raining from the roof
The power went out every time we connected something so we had to wait for maintenance to fix it and the ac broke a couple of times
But the worst thing that happened to us is that they stole a gold necklace at the spa from my sons locker we had to complain and tell them we were going to call the police, and next day they did found it we were pretty sure one of the staff member took it since they were the last appointment for the day the food
Is not the best, but at piragua restaurant the staff is really nice

My wife and I have stayed at this resort 6 times. There was a noticeable effort to make improvements over our last stay. The resort property is absolutely beautiful. There were new menu's in most of the restauraunts. The new gourmet pizza was an excellent addition. As always, the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. I can't say enough about Alejandro, Maria and Natalie. Their kindness and dedication to make sure we have a great experience is an asset to this resort and the reason we will be returning again next October.

The food with no bias is the worse we have ever had in hotels or restaurants around the world. They have 4 restaurants all the same level. On a scale of ten hard to give one.
Some customers may like it if they have been eating dog food in their home place. Will never ever go there. No nearby restaurants to go around. The staff is good and helpful. Their concierge is a great guy as well. The owner hired some chefs who never cooked in proper restaurants to save money. Because the food is all inclusive people make little noise.

We’ve been to Zoetry Resorts six times, four times to Zoetry Agua. I think my loyalty says it all. I keep returning to Zoetry Agua because I adore the Dominican people and not just in the hotel. There is always a smile and an “hola, todo bien” from immigration to the groundskeeper and everyone in-between.

Pro Tips: The mosquitos are ruthless in the wet season. Use Skin So Soft for the no-see-ums and Deet for the mosquitos. Herbal/natural repellants don’t work. We’ve tried them all. I think the smell of lemongrass, citronella and sunscreen just lets them know that you are fresh blood.. Bring Claritin or allergy meds if you know your bites will swell. If you do get bitten, use Nubite on the bites (fantastic little gadget). Or go get a mud wrap at the spa.

Smile and say good morning, good afternoon and good evening (in any language). A little kindness goes a long way.

Tip your housekeepers, bar staff and restaurant staff. It’s not required, but much appreciated. We tip for substandard service at home, let’s tip for excellent service while away.

Go see Friday at the pool bar, Mr. Coffee in Indigo, Johanna in Amaya and take a Bachata dance class with Mr. Happy. They will all be delighted to make your day.

Try some Dominican food. It’s delicious!!!!

6 of us went for a girls trip. Rooms are definitely geared towards couples. Our key cards for our room malfunctioned throughout our stay. We had 2 guys named Ramon that were supposed to be our butlers.! was great the other not so much. He blamed us multiple times for the keys not working. Acted angry and put out when we were the ones that were getting locked out of our rooms on a daily basis. Yanked cards out of our hands and yelled at us. Told us that it was our fault because we were placing them next to our phones - which we weren't.

Do NOT Stay at this resort. the whole beach has 8 ft tall piles of seaweed covering teh entire thing. you can not use the beaches or the ocean as its covered in rotting seaweed. the property does not look anything like the pictures at all

and when you try to check out because the resort isnt safe or unhabitable, they will try to charge you extra thousands of dollars.........BE WARNED DO NOT DO HERE

Zoetry is a really beautiful place with intimate island elegance and ambiance to get away and completely relax. All of the staff are friendly and often personable. The private beach was beautiful and the turquoise waters looked and felt amazing. The dinning options are outstanding everything from the beach front bar to the intimate gourmet dinning. Truly a place like no other.

A almost perfect weekend

Zoetry was awesome unfortunately I will have to give them a ok a rating due to one bump on the road. Everything was great until one afternoon my husband and I visited Indigo the Restaurant and guess what it even upsets me to think about it see I am vegatarian and I told the waitress no chicken on my quesadilla and guess what Yeap you guessed it the chief added chicken on my quesadilla thank god I always verify my meals when I travel away from home its just a disappointment that such a important matter to me just gets ignored its really something a almost perfect trip messed up by someone not doing their job correctly.

This property is terrible. The amout of mosquitos in this resort is insane. My daughther literally was eating alive. Front staff is rude. Beach is dirty. Food is ok. Facility has 2 litlle bars one by pool and one at main entrance. DO NOT BOTHER BOOKING THIS PLACE IS JUST BAD.

I liked the no check in/out time policy. The beachfront room was a perfect choice for those who like to have a good view. Inconsistent In paradise

Picked Zoetry for our 1 couple trip of the year. Never been to DR we saw it was the highest rated and a no brianer. Our trip seemed strange as if the timing coincided with some issues the property was having. First 24 hours were w/o hot water. Which was awful when you spent the day on a plane in the ocean and want to shower b4 dinner. Our butler offered anything we needed.We asked for the choc fruit plate every day. 4 nights and got them our last day. The property is beautiful - but they never had snorkels or rentals they claimed to. The \"top shelf\" liquor is under lock & key. You made a request for Patron - they had to \"go get it.\" or \"No.\" The same went for OJ. They said housekeeping would come 3 times a day - but only did our bed twice the trip once we asked. They advertise BVLGARI shampoo so I brought none -the conditioner was cheap and left my hair stringy. We had to find them to ask for refills for soap. Were supposed to see Angel for activities, but they brought us to covid testing instead. Tracked him the next day to find we missed horseback riding - so he arranged us a ride on Sun which was nice. Our 20 min comp massage was scheduled and a mani pedi. They forgot about us and left us in the waiting room for 45 min. before we gave up and they were sorry. The bed is super comfy and pool room was great. People were SO nice. No wifi last 24 hrs so we didnt see our flight was delayed 7 hrs. The food was delicious or disgusting. Savory lamb or putrid grilled seafood.

This resort is amazing! I went for a week with my son as we like quiet resorts when we golf. It is primarily a couples resort but if you are looking for a small, super friendly place to stay with a magnificient beach and the best resort service ever then this is it!

Beautiful hotel, very dedicated staff, fantastic beach, very dedicated staff. Breakfast could be vastly improved (organisation, service and dishes). Bar and service on the beach really top. Three good restaurants for diner (food not 5 star, but fair for all inclusive and decent wine). I definitely recommend this hotel.

Pros: Very beautiful and well-maintained property. Excellent staff. Everything was easy and COVID-friendly. Rooms and spa were exceptional and pools were very nice. Unfortunately, the beach was too rocky for swimming which was a big disappointment to us. Also, the hard sell on the vacation plan was irritating.

The property does not have many guests, so it has not felt crowded either time we've stayed here. The food and drinks are always delicious, and the facilities and rooms are clean. Without exception, the staff are very nice and are quick to acknowledge guests.
However, the mosquitos are terrible at night at one of the restaurants, and the beach has a lot of spiky seaweed onshore and in the shallows.

This property is not a 5 star hotel, the most is a 3 star, the AC unit don’t work, the food is terrible and the price is too high for this outdated resort, the only good thing was the staff which go out of their way to make you happy.I will not go back to this resort ever again ☹️

When I booked Zoetry I was looking for a hotel that would not be crowded or surrounded by other hotels. My number 1 priority was getting a room that was truly ocean front and we got that from Zoetry. Our room was an ocean front junior suite that had a comfortable bed, great bathroom and spacious balcony. We would wake up to the ocean sound and end our nights in our balcony listening to the waves. This was the highlight of our trip.

The hotel overall is ok, I’m referring to the facilities. It is very laid back, the pools can definitely use an update. You can see the ocean from the pools which is a plus, but the water is not warm and there are no hot tubs in the hotel just in spa and they are not hot.

We did love the spa, it was gorgeous and had a wonderful massage experience.

The beach is beautiful, but unfortunately like many other beaches in DR and in the Caribbean it is full of

The staff are so friendly and helpful, the rooms are perfectly sized, pools are lit up in a pretty blue color at night, and the daily activities they provided were perfect!There was a live musician playing around the main pool and other days they had performances at night in the main lobby. My favorite was probably the Circus night. That was SO COOL OMG! Our main concierge was Wiris Guzman - if you can request a specific person, PICK HIM!!! He's seriously the best!! Anything we needed, even if it wasn't at the resort, he went and got it for us. Such a sweet guy! Also the bartender Jimmy is THE MAN! He took the time out of his day to help me and my husband learn and speak the language. He also makes a tasty Rum cocktail (yummm), coming from a former bartender -- he knows his stuff for sure!!! Juan Carlos was another one of our servers/concierge who was so awesome, and can't forget Robinson who provided the Wine Tasting for us one night! He was really nice to meet too! Knew his stuff, very interesting! Housekeeping was fantastic as well! They kept our mini fridge STACKED! Love them all!
