Our stay was truly fantastic from start to finish. The food exceeded expectations—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff we interacted with were all professional, attentive, and clearly skilled at what they do, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
A BIG special THANK YOU to our butler, DIEGO!!!! He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect throughout our stay. His attention to detail, responsiveness, and friendly demeanor make him a great asset to the organization.
I would absolutely recommend this property and look forward to returning.

On a side note - I cannot forget the following staff and need to ensure that they get the well deserved recognition - Santa (Tierra - made my wife feel super special on her B-day), Alberto (Rendezvous), Ramon (Desires), Maria & Ivette servers (kept my drinks coming), Denny (Oceana host with a fantastic smile) and I cannot forget the entertainment crew - \"Skinny girl\", Mayra, Grandpa, Edwin (my guy!), Myladie, Manuel (always ready with our towels), Alexandra for keeping us hydrated on the beach!

Despite the overwhelming amount of sargassum (seaweed) during our stay (May 23–30), the resort worked hard to manage it. A tractor was constantly clearing the beach throughout the day to maintain at least some semblance of a shoreline, and we also noticed a truck driving around the perimeter of the resort with smoke to suppress the bugs that often accompany the seaweed. That said, we kept our spirits up and even went into the ocean several times during our stay.

As for the resort itself, I was extremely impressed. The rooms were beautiful, with luxurious décor and double shower heads that gave them an upscale feel. The entertainment was excellent as well, with live music before dinner each evening, and the restaurants were fantastic.

The only negative I would mention was the segregation of Premium members. They had access to their own pool and bar, which felt a bit like a cash grab and made it harder to spend time with some of the people we met at the resort.

Overall, I would recommend checking the seaweed report before booking. However, if you do encounter sargassum, you can take comfort in knowing you're staying at what is likely the best resort in the area and still provide an outstanding vacation experience.

Clean walkways all areas and rooms. They do a fantastic job with cleaning! The food was terrible except for the food in the Tierra Restaurant which was excellent. The staff was 60% amazing 40% not amazing. Some were funny, kind, happy and helpful and others were not even happy to help or serve you.
The rooms were clean every day but not restocked the same every day. We had to ask for small towels often and vanity kits.

No tiene entretención muy amplia, sin embargo, buenos restaurantes y buen descanso. Recomendado para parejas y personas que desean tranquilidad y bienestar. Los shows nocturnos son muy interesantes. Estuvimos en uno de AC/DC Night y fue muy bueno. Los huéspedes son de bastante nivel, los empleados están bien entrenados.

This was an absolutely beautiful property. The staff was very helpful and nice. Marlyn helped before we got to the resort and was helpful when we were there. The beach was beautiful. We had a mishap at the spa where my husband locked his card key in the locker and they were able to retrieve the card key and it was resolved quickly. We enjoyed the spa and the overall experience. The entertainment was great. You don’t have to leave the resort for anything.

Great staff very helpful and the spa was amazing! I got a deep tissue massage and I asked the masseuse to focus on a couple problem areas and while she did, she made sure to still relax and massage every other part of my body and still really helped with my knots (she also checked if pressure is to my liking) and she gave me the choice to pick the scent for the essential oils being used during our massage. I really enjoyed it

Had the most amazing stay! Will never be able to book another vacation without a swim out room, this place is truly a beautiful property. At every pool bar and restaurant we visited, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and at home.

When you visit the Italian restaurant or the Barside Grill ask for Randy as your server, he went out of his way to make sure our meals were cooked to order.

If you spend some time poolside, say hi to Victor, he continuously checked on our group all afternoon and made sure we were taken care of.

We are already making plans for the next visit!!!

My overall experience is excellent. This is not a party hotel and really sticks to the Hyatt standards.

Pros: cleanliness is excellent. Staff was very attentive and caring. Rooms are very comfortable including the bed. Easy check in and check out process.

Cons: entertainment for adults can improve. An authentic Dominican Restaurant serving food cooked by a native chef would be amazing. A live band that plays classic merengue would be great.

Comment: it is an amazing hotel with great service. I wish they would incorporate the Dominican Republic culture a bit more.

Secrets Tides is a beautiful resort with some of the best staff I’ve ever encountered at an all inclusive. From the front desk, house keeping, bar service, restaurant service- everyone was AMAZING! We were checked on at least every 15/20 minutes and we were never without a drink! The beach is amazingly clean- the seaweed cleanup was unreal- almost over the top. The shows were great in the evening and I’m usually not a fan of shows but they all were fantastic. I would 1000% give this place a 5 star rating if the food was better. The hibachi place and the Mexican restaurant were fabulous, despite my husband getting sick after the Mexican restaurant twice. Snacks are non-existent and the other restaurants the food was reheated and never fresh. Despite the food we will be back because the rest of this resort is outstanding. Highly recommend !!

This was the best resort I’ve been to, what really made a difference was the people who worked there. Starting with Enrique at the front desk who was accommodating and made sure my birthday was special. And the entertainment workers who made sure we had a fun and relaxed time! Like Manuel who was very attentive, funny and kind! Everyone there made the experience that much better. The rooms were beautiful, the property is gorgeous, the pools are top tier. The food could be better, but other than that I loved it and would definitely return.

Everything about this property was amazing. The staff may have been the greatest staff we’ve ever had and we’ve been to a lot of resorts in many other countries. We got in our van to leave to the airport and said F’it, let’s stay for 1 more day, turned around and went back. That’s something we’ve never done and it is a testament to the property and their staff.

The sushi and hibachi was just ok, but we loved everything else. No stomach issues either. We would come back in a heartbeat. I want to try a swimout room next! We stayed facing Breathless, and we did hear some noise. Nothing too bad for us though.

We had a great stay - the property is gorgeous and they do an excellent job at keeping it spotless. Someone is always working either on the landscaping or cleaning the property. It all feels very new still. The food is very mediocre (cannot eat here more than a week) and they have a problem where preferred guests have their butlers reserve all of the pool chairs at 5am so there are never any chairs available. That needs to be addressed asap. There are also way to many 'sales people' hanging out in the lobby trying to sell guests on experiences like the spa, wine, romantic dinners. I dont want to be hassled every morning. We also had to move rooms since the first floor was EXTREMELY loud at night with drunk people screaming. In the morning on our patio, we could hear loud construction across the street because theyre building another resort, which is unfortunate and something we know they dont have control over. But they accommodated us and moved our rooms when we asked. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and kind and we enjoyed our stay overall.

Just finished an incredible stay at Secrets Tides Punta Cana, and wow… this place does not miss. We had Preferred Club with an ocean-view room, and waking up each morning felt like Mother Nature personally upgraded us.

The staff make this resort unbeatable.
Luis the sommelier is a wine genius — he could pair a bottle with your mood. Ray the butler handled everything so smoothly I started wondering if he had superpowers. Santa at Tierra is pure sunshine and delivers top-tier service. And Victor on the beach? The man is a legend. I’d think about a drink and it magically appeared.

The food was phenomenal.
The shrimp tacos with pickled onions? Life-changing. The steak with chimichurri? Melt-in-your-soul good. The fried rice dish? A mountain of flavour that kept me going long after I was full. From Tierra to Oceana to the breakfast menu — every plate looked like a magazine shot and tasted even better.

Décor and atmosphere? Stunning. Everything felt modern, clean, and beautifully designed.
Rooms and service? Impeccable. Comfortable beds, spotless spaces, and service that actually anticipates what you need.

Overall, Secrets Tides didn’t just meet expectations — it blew past them. If you’re thinking of booking, stop thinking and go. This resort is pure vacation perfection.

We had the best vacation at this all-inclusive resort! Everything from the moment we arrived was seamless. The property is beautiful, spotless, and incredibly well-maintained, with plenty of activities, stunning views, and so many places to relax.

What truly made the trip unforgettable was the staff. Every single person we interacted with went above and beyond. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy helping guests. From the front desk team who greeted us with smiles, to the servers who remembered our drink orders, to the housekeeping team who kept our room immaculate — they made us feel taken care of the entire stay. It never felt like “just customer service”; it felt like hospitality.

The food and drinks were good. We only had one bad meal. Food was your average all inclusive, but overall was good. The pool and beach service was quick and friendly, and there was always someone around to make sure we had everything we needed.

If you’re looking for a stress-free getaway where you can completely relax, be pampered, and enjoy incredible service, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

This hotel has everything you need to relax and loosen up. I had heard some hotels customer service was deteriorating but im glad I came to one that did not have that problem at all. Customer service was amazing, food was the best Ive had in any hotel in many years, cleanliness and room service were great as well. Only thing that I would say it needs is a dance club and they are already building one. Cant wait to come back after its built.

The Resort itself.... Beautiful... Although its a little ways from the airport (45min) and city. not a problem.

Now the only reason I Didn't give 5 stars was because I informed the resort Months in advanced that I was celebrating my 50th and had a rather large group coming 27 to be exact. I had 2 Request:

1. All of our Swim outs be close, and the other rooms at least on the same side. Not fully honored... They had us all over the place
2. My birthday dinner I requested Oceana Restaurant, EVEN confirmed w/ concierge the day of. NO ONE told me it was closed until a few hours prior. So They referred me to Meraki which would've been ok BUT they wanted us to sit outside (HOT & HUMID) w/ no actual Hibachi show.... After almost an hour of over 25 of us standing around in All Black & manager's trying to Figure out what to do w/ us we said F it and made the best of it! They also said IF we wanted our tables together we had to do Family style (with pre fixed items)
I'm gonna ASSume since its a new resort they just were not prepared to handle such a large group EVEN w/ ADVANCED notice...

Outside of that Everyone at the hotel was very Friendly & helpful! we def Enjoyed Felix every A.M. at breakfast & Mike (Magic Mike at Night! Lol) Myra was also a WHOLE A$$ Vibe. The female Hostesses can be a little friendlier. Food was hit or miss but we also enjoyed room service!

Our personal concierge Yulian was amazing, he anticipated our every need and made this trip that much more enjoyable. If you go, be sure to check out the spa! You will not regret it, that was an unforgettable experience! Now when it comes to the food, I won’t lie it’s wasn’t great. Myself or my husband didn’t enjoy it like we had hoped but the drinks were delicious and not too strong. Overall we enjoyed our stay

This is my first time traveling to another country other than Jamaica. It was a beautiful experience from the food to the staff it was amazing. And am goin back soon just because I love it so much.

Property was very nice. However, they have a “preferred member” access and that takes over the property. I understand to have a dining option and a bar but every dining option outside of the buffet cafeteria was for “preferred members” only. Didn’t find out that the cost was $100/pp for that option. If that’s the case, just add $100 to the room cost and open all the restaurants to all your guest.

I booked the preferred room with the swing out pool. Completely worth it! The staff always were friendly and ready to help! The wifi is amazing throughout the property. The restaurants were amazing, my favorite was the hibachi. The preferred club bars have premium brands of alcohol. There was activities and shows throughout the day. Will definitely stay again.
The best part of my stay was Jaime, my butler. Wow this dude just goes above and beyond. I asked him if he could help me with a engagement proposal and he sure did. He genuinely cares and goes above and beyond for his guests. I recommend everyone with a preferred room to ask for Jaime, you won't regret it. Thank you secrets Tide for suck a great vacation

Secrets Tides Punta Cana is a true gem. The staff was absolutely wonderful, consistently going above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Our room was always spotless and beautifully maintained. We visited in October, and the weather was just right—warm enough for the beach but with a pleasant breeze. If you're celebrating a couples' milestone, this is the place to be. 10/10, we would absolutely recommend!
