Muy buen hotel para vacacionar. Mi cuarto lo limpiaban todos los días. Lo único que si eres una persona con muchas energías de party no lo recomendaría ya que en el área de la piscina pusieron música suave y para relajación.

El hotel está bueno pero el servicio a la habitación es fatal solo puedes pedir dos opciones no mas lo demás lo tienes que pagar y no tienen nada de variedad para comer , el buffet muy malo la misma comida siempre y muy poca se hacen colas porque la comida se acaba , vas a comer y no hay mesas limpias para sentarte, ni platos para poder servirte de verdad esta muy mal eso , el parque de agua muy bueno en foto pero las canales cuando las usas sales con la espalda o con la cabeza con golpes en 5 días fui solo 1 día con mis hijos , el hotel muy bueno y bonito pero el servicio muy malo , la piscina muy buena pero a la 6 cierran y te sacan que es cuando de verdad disfrutas que no esta el sol fuerte

Excellent resort! Ignore the negative reviews. It is lovely! If you are going looking for brand new, this is not.
However - our room was always clean and we had no issues. Staff was very friendly. Easy to book restaurants and tours with the concierge. Good was delicious. Lots of options if you have preferences. Well maintained property. They work to keep seaweed under control and grounds beautiful.
Pools are wonderful!

The resort was great. The staff was super helpful and accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious for my family of four. My only call out was the arcade section- the games are not included and need exact change to use. The water park area was clean and well maintained. Overall definitely a place I would recommend to families. Don’t miss the foam party it was one of the highlights of the trip.

No se concibe que un recinto de este tipo (5 estrella) tenga una limpieza tan deficiente en la habitación 1724. Especialmente el baño. Mampara de cristal, nicho y piso de la ducha con moho. Lavamanos estallados, espejos con bordes deteriorados y luces rotas. Tragante de ducha rota, juntas para salir del paso y mas. La tasa se salva, quizás por ser nueva. En la habitación, las sabanas, almohadas y edredón desgastado, y el colchón no es cómodo. Habitaciones pequeñas para un hotel 5 estrella. El aire no enfría. El ventilador de techo tiene que estar prendido para sentir el fresco.
Comida: pasé por la experiencia, si se le puede llamar así de 4 restaurantes. Raw bar, El Rancho, IKEBANA y Relais Gourdmand. El último dejemoslo fuera, sin dudas el mejor de todos, pudiera repetir sin temor a equivocarme. El peor, Raw bar, comentario corto, no comí (Gracias a los camareros por el detalle que tuvieron al cantarme las felicidades). No volvería ni aunque me invitaran, necesitan pensar mejor todo, comenzaría por el menú. El Rancho me decepcionó. Pedimos Tbone, rebeye, NY y salmón. Las carnes con salsa picante, error garrafal, a no ser que quieran ocultar algo de calidad. Antes preguntar si el cliente lo quiere. Como norma la carne buena solo lleva sal. Termino cuestionable, solo el NY pasaba. Y creo que el problema estaba en el corte tan fino que le dieron a las piesas. Ni un maestro con estrellas pudiera aceptar con esto.

As a facility, the hotel is fine, and the gardens are well-kept; however, the pools are very dirty and have mold—I never saw them being cleaned, which is a shame. The beach isn't good, and the food is terrible, though the buffet was better than the specialty restaurants. The best parts were the laundry service—the towels were clean and smelled great—and the staff was very pleasant, helpful, and attentive. Kyle, in particular, looked after us the whole time; he was a 10 out of 10—he listened to our needs and addressed many of our complaints. Many thanks to him.

It would have nice to receive a status of the Sargassum in the email we received from Sirenis before our tip started, just to set up correct expectations. We had to book a trip to Saona island to have enjoy a little bit of a nice and kind of clean beach.
The animation team at Grand Sirenis punta Cana was very nice and funny, we enjoyed the shows at night and in the pool. They lacked of good sports organization such as beach volleyball or water sports (no catamaran, no kayak, sailing, etc).
The restaurant choices was limited as not all were opened, plus the menu was limited. We enjoyed more the regular buffet restaurant.
Regardless of those bumps on the road, we had a good time.

I recently stayed at this resort and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The rooms were outdated and clearly in need of maintenance. The bathroom had water leaking from the room above, and there was a persistent moldy smell that made the room uncomfortable.

Another ongoing issue was the room key. It repeatedly stopped working, and we often had to wait for a staff member to come and unlock the door, which was very inconvenient and frustrating.

The water park appeared neglected and poorly maintained. The food options were extremely repetitive, with nearly the same meals being served every day. The drinks were also disappointing and tasted cheap and low quality.

What was even more frustrating was the inconsistent treatment of guests. We were denied welcome drinks upon arrival, while other guests received them without any issue. Throughout our stay, it often felt as though some guests were treated better than others.

In addition, many of the staff members seemed unfriendly and unhappy, which negatively affected the overall experience.

The only positive aspects of the resort were a couple of the specialty restaurants and some of the evening shows, which were enjoyable.

Overall, I would not recommend this resort and would not stay here again. The property fell far below expectations and did not provide the quality or service that one would expect for the price.

Overall, our stay was decent, but there are several areas that need improvement. The hotel appears to be understaffed, especially at the buffet during all meal times and at the lobby bar in the evenings. The staff works very hard and does the best they can, but there simply are not enough employees to properly serve the number of guests.

The pool area has some maintenance issues, including loose cables and lighting fixtures in the water, which raises safety concerns. The rooms are very comfortable and attractive, although some minor repairs and updates would be beneficial.

The food was okay, but not great. The arcade also needs attention, as several machines were not working properly. Additionally, some of the water park rides were closed or not functioning during our stay.

While the staff was friendly and hardworking, the hotel would greatly benefit from additional employees, better maintenance, and improved upkeep of its attractions. Beach horrible 😤

The staff was great very helpful and very nice but compared to other places I’ve been to, they have the will but not the availability to meet our needs. Something so simple as hair conditioner was not provided in the rooms, swimming pools were dirty and moldy, water bottles hard to find at the buffet and drinks with barely any alcohol, and light beers. I saw roaches on the lobby, in my room and a mouse in the bushes between lobby and our rooms. I would not say here ever again u

Deben implementar un poco más la limpieza en la propiedad enfatizar más aún en el área de la piscina e incrementar más variedad de las comidas en el buffet ósea más opciones en cuanto a las carnes otros hoteles se come un poco mejor en cuanto a la variedad de carnes y mariscos y por el mismo precio el personal de trabajo muy atento en eso les doy un 10 de 10 en general la instalación no está tan mala pero si deben trabajar para subir el nivel en comparación a otros hoteles que comparten el mismo precio

Hacer la reserva con Expirian fue un excelente, todo bien organizado con un sistema de notificación de calidad, el hotel es lindo, la atención de los empleados excelente pero la calidad de la comida para mi gusto no era la mejor, solamente un día se ofreció frijoles(habichuelas) no había mariscos, en la mesa bufet, la reservación para los restaurantes tenían horarios extremadamente tardes horario en que los niños ya no podían comer, creo que es algo en lo que deben mejorar.

Staff was horrible I could never get my drinks. You ask for salt they act like they don’t know what that is so I never saw salt. pool was dirty they never cleaned it. every place you book to eat for the night have no A/C so your eating your sweat. My daughter got some weird bug bites that spread all over her body so she had to stay out of sun for 2 days. there is more but I don’t feel like writing it down I give this place -10 out of 10

Nothing was remarkable about this resort, except for the amount of mosquitos in the area. I don’t think they fumigate at all. The AC vents all leak water and if you’re not careful you’ll easily slip on the floor. I asked room service to bring me 4 beers and they brought 3, and they were warm. They have 2 theaters but don’t mention which one their nightly shows are in. There was just a lot of miscommunication. The “Dinner on the beach” for Expedia customers was not on the beach. It was also a pre-fixe menu that didn’t include vegetarian options. None of those things were clearly stated.

Nuestra estadía no fue lo que esperábamos. En nuestra habitación, el TV no funcionaba, nunca pudimos ordenar room service porque el teléfono estaba desconectado. Lavamanos tapado, duchas con hongo. Los pasillos de los cuartos sucios y con olor a pozo muro. Los ascensores no funcionaba, las piscinas estaban sucias. Los empleados se mostraban disgustados y poco serviciales. Aún haciendo las reservas para ir a los restaurantes el mismo día que llegamos, tuvimos que casi “pelear” porque nunca había disponibilidad. La animación en la piscina y show fue pobre, bailaban sin entusiasmo se veía forzado. En el kids club el cine estaba fuera de servicio y las empleadas no jugaban con los niños. El el área del buffet Macao, la comida era pobre, siempre era un reguero y súper lleno, y en varias ocasiones vimos cucarachas muertas y en el área de los asientos.

Cosas buenas: el show de Michael Jackson! Y el buffet del área de la piscina. Mas nada!

Especial agradecimiento a Karla y Katiushka que gracias a ella el buffet a la hora del desayuno fue más ameno.

The front desk staff allowed another checked out guest to harass myself and 4 friends while we checked in right in front. They only intervened when I asked. Checkin took a very, very long time. Checkout also took a long time and they tried to over charge us for spa services. A staff member named Kyle creeped on me and asked for my phone number and asked me to mention him favorably in this review. Kyle did nothing for us and wasn't helpful.
We had pretty low expectations but were pleased with the drinks, rooms, and beach. The spa treatments we received were spectacular. The entertainment was also surprisingly good.
The buffet food was very repetitive and not great.
There were only 2 restaurants open while we were there.
The staff seems inclined to ignore you by default.
We did book a boat excursion that took over 2 hours from the time of boarding the shuttle to the boat pushing off. The excursion included viewing captive dolphins which is abhorrent and we did not consent to that. They shoulf disclose this at the time of booking.

Los buffets y restaurantes tienen empleados A+,todos muy atentos y serviciales.Encantada con las meseras en el buffet!Tuve un inconveniente con la habitación y al informarlo me cambiaron con rapidez el cuarto.El entretenimiento es excelente.Algo que no me gustó fue que no entraban a diario a recoger el cuarto y por ende no rellenan nevera si no lo pides.Por lo demás volvería al mismo hotel a futuro.El parque acuático es perfecto para chicos pequeños cómo para jovencitos!!!!

VERY SATISFYING FAMILY HOLIDAY

Myself, my wife, our five-year-old daughter, and her grandma had a wonderful stay here in May 2026.

The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and lined with palm trees and coconuts. We particularly liked the beach, the pools, the lobby bar, and the waterpark. Much of the staff were very friendly and helpful too.
There is music around the resort all the time and the live band was great. There is usually an evening show every night at 9:30 for 45 minutes.

I cannot give it five stars as on the food side it was very very difficult to get a reservation in any of the themed restaurants, and the dinners in the buffet area were not outstanding. They never serve any great fish or beef, options were focused on keeping costs down with mainly chicken and pork dishes.
There is also a strange upsell going on where they wanted us to try a breakfast in the premium area, but we would have to agree (literally sign) for a 90 minute sales speech after, which was poorly communicated and executed.

Overall though, unforgettable stay. Went home very happy

Estuvo bien , un poco de lleno a pesar de nos ser verano algunas filas en buffet , la comida no estaba mal había variadad y los restaurantes especializados estuvieron bien unos mejores q otros pero en general bien el trato y servicio , no pudimos disfrutar de la playa por el zargazo, así no supimos que tan buena o mala es el área de playa de hotel , el parque es divino para niños pequeños ahí son felices y con espacio para jugar , la animación muy bien en todas las áreas , mi habitación primera asignada tenía peste a humedad luego me dieron otra estuvo muy bien con agua refrescos y limpieza , la única queja que podría tener es los vasos en los q sirven bebidas y tragos en piscina y algunos bares son plástico no desechables los reúsan y odie su olor y su forma de lavado no me gustaba poner mi boca ahí tenía q pedir de cristal o desechable , el resto bien no es un 5 estrellas es un 4 ,

Mi experiencia en este hotel fue muy decepcionante. Las instalaciones presentaban múltiples problemas de mantenimiento, incluyendo moho visible en varias áreas, goteras de agua dentro del hotel y presencia de moho en la piscina principal. La falta de higiene y cuidado fue evidente durante nuestra estadía. Lo más preocupante es que, después de utilizar las instalaciones, mi bebé desarrolló foliculitis.

Sin embargo, quiero reconocer que el personal fue muy amable y profesional en todo momento. Agradezco especialmente a Henry y al señor Víctor, quienes hicieron todo lo posible por ayudarnos y atender nuestras preocupaciones durante la estancia. Lamentablemente, aunque el servicio humano fue excelente, las condiciones de las instalaciones no estuvieron a la altura de lo esperado y por esa razón no volvería ni lo recomendaría a familias con niños pequeños.

The wild animals were all over the hotel even inside the restaurants and around/on too of the food. The pool was not clean regularly. The worst part of the overall hotel was the fact, there were no designated smoking areas making it unbearable for families with young kids to be in common areas (even open space), including dining spaces, Unfortunately, the most disappointing part, was the fact that 90% of the staff will not willingly help you IF you did not provided a tip. In fact, they even say it out loud: \" if you give me a tip, I will help you with XYZ\".

The resort has two sections: renovated and non-renovated rooms. If the quality of your stay matters to you, I highly recommend booking a renovated unit. I originally received a non-renovated room and ended up paying an additional charge to upgrade because I was unhappy with the condition of the room.

Also, the beach had a significant amount of seaweed during our stay, so unfortunately we never really got to enjoy it.
The resort also offers excursions that can be booked on the property. If you’re considering trips like Isla Catalina or Isla Saona, just be prepared for it to take the entire day, including a long time spent on the bus. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend those excursions unless you’re okay with the long travel time.

After check in and settling into our room we had to switch rooms because of the poor conditions of the bathroom, living area and bedroom. The floors were extremely dirty with sand, the bathroom walls and floors had cracks which were very unsafe traveling with children. The staff was not very pleasant and some even asked for tips before serving things such as coconuts (which are all included in the booking). The main Buffet Macao had the benches/chairs all ripped and the tables were not properly cleaned. The floors also had cracks which cause for high chances of tripping over.

Saludos. Estuve hospedada en el hotel Grand Sirenis desde el 24 de mayo de 2025 y lamentablemente mi experiencia fue muy decepcionante.Antes de llegar confirmé por teléfono que podía entrar antes del check-in, pero al llegar me indicaron que debía esperar hasta las 3:00 p.m. porque las habitaciones seguían en limpieza. Luego de hablar con un supervisor, sí aparecieron habitaciones disponibles.La primera habitación que me entregaron estaba sucia y tuvieron que cambiarme. Además, durante las noches había un mal olor en el cuarto.El parque acuático no estaba funcionando completamente, ya que varias chorreras y áreas estaban fuera de servicio. La disco y el casino permanecieron cerrados durante mi estadía. También las animaciones eran muy repetitivas, pues las mismas personas realizaban actividades durante el día, tarde y noche.En cuanto a la comida, el buffet fue una decepción. Todos los días era prácticamente lo mismo, La playa tampoco pudo disfrutarse debido a la gran cantidad de sargazo.También me indicaron que no había reservaciones para el restaurante El Rancho hasta el 31 de mayo. Sin embargo, conocí huéspedes que llegaron después y sí lograron reservar antes, lo cual me hizo sentir que no hubo igualdad en el servicio.
Adicionalmente, la persona encargada del área de pizzas tuvo una actitud muy desagradable

The resort was very nice and clean. The pools were beautiful and the ocean was very nice. There was lots of seaweed in the ocean and on the shore, so don't come here thinking it's all blue water. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was not great. Not a lot of choices and long food lines. Lots of redundancy in the dishes.

Muy limpio. Excelentes facilidades, family.suite súper cómoda. Variedad en el bufet, allí destacaron Chilin (Víctor) , Karla, Jonathan y Mariely. En Animación Súper Big Boy y Fresita, excelentes. El parque de agua súper....para todas las edades. Cada noche un show diferente. ¡Las mejores vacaciones! 100% recomendado para la familia (con niños y jovencitos)

The rooms were definitely not well maintained or clean. The first room they gave me was dirty, and all the furniture and walls were stained and filthy. They upgraded me to an ocean-view room, which was better but still could have been a little cleaner. Unfortunately, the AC in that room broke, causing the room to flood and some of our belongings to get wet. Although they were aware of the issue, no one bothered to let us know before we got to the room, and they did not even clean the floors or have another room ready for us. After we called the front desk, they gave us a new room, but the bathroom was in such bad condition that we refused it, so they had to give us another room in better condition.

The property was beautiful and has a lot of potential, but it is definitely not a 5-star type of property. Most of the staff was very nice and friendly. The food was not very good, although we did find some edible options. They have eight different restaurants that require reservations every night, but there was no availability for us, so we had to eat at their buffet restaurant instead. It was very disappointing because we were celebrating my sister’s 50th birthday and were unable to celebrate at one of the restaurants, having to settle for the buffet instead.

Overall, I give them 3 stars because the atmosphere and entertainment were great, and the pools, beach, and staff were good.

This resort was perfect for our vacation. We travelled with our 4 year old daughter and her grandparents. The waterpark had something for everyone. We could see maintenance crews so they do inspect and update the slides. We had no concerns with waterpark safety. The stairs for the adult slides need work but no issues. We enjoyed our food at the a la cartes and the buffet. Our rooms were clean and the grounds were beautiful. Beach is lovely, with lots of coral near by with small schools of fish to see while snorkling. We had seen some concerning reviews for this resort before we travelled but we did not expience any of the issues noted. I think people may have unrealistic expectations for resorts in a hot climate. We typically tavel to resorts in the Caribbean at this price point and Grand Sirenis is one of our favorites. We would recommend this resort.

Overall, I had a terrible stay. While the property itself has potential, the service and room maintenance were deeply disappointing.
Staff & Customer Service (1/5): The service here is the primary reason for my low rating. For the vast majority of my stay, I was treated with apathy, disdain, and downright disrespect; professional staff members were the rare exception (perhaps 2 out of 10). Worse, when I used my booking app to report a serious issue involving colorism, the hotel's response was incredibly dismissive, instructing me to simply \"talk to guest services.\"
Room & Amenities: The bed was comfortable, but the room itself was worn down and poorly maintained. The bathroom was the biggest issue, it suffered from a constant, foul sewer smell due to underlying plumbing issues, forcing me to keep the toilet lid closed at all times.
Grounds:Expansive and well-maintained (the only highlight of the trip).
Summary: A beautiful property completely ruined by unacceptable customer service, a dismissive attitude toward serious guest concerns, and poorly maintained rooms. I do not recommend staying here.

This resort has serious mismanagement at multiple levels.

Service is very inconsistent. Something as simple as a quick 7:00 AM follow-up call to check if everything is okay never happens. Concierge services are unreliable — you can book a restaurant, show up, and your name is not even on the list.

The worst experience was with our room. It flooded due to an AC issue. We called maintenance, and although a technician came, the problem was not fixed. When we asked to change rooms, the supervisor told us to wait until 4 PM — even though it was only 9 AM and there were many vacant rooms available.

There is also a frustrating “VIP trap.” Staff invite you to a “special meal” in a VIP area, but it turns into a sales pitch for a membership. It ends up wasting a large part of your day.

Overall, the experience was disappointing due to poor management, lack of organization, and misleading offers.

I got food poisoning on the second day after arriving, and the food at the à la carte restaurants was disappointing. However, the pool, waterpark, and beach were great. The staff was very kind and always willing to help. The kids’ club was the highlight — my daughter absolutely loved it.
