Honestly the \"worst\" part of the trip was the fact that our room was not cleaned more than once during our 6 night stay, however when we called for service they were super nice and prompt. Other than that, the staff was always super friendly, the pool was beautiful and food was great. We ended up upgrading to the VIP package which was well worth the extra few hundred $$. It was a super relaxing vacation in a gorgeous place!

We stayed at Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana for four days, and it was truly one of the best resort experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt seamless, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and fun. The atmosphere was the perfect balance. It was peaceful when we wanted to unwind and lively when we were ready to enjoy the activities. The food was exceptional across the board, with a wide variety of fresh and flavorful options at every meal. Every restaurant we tried exceeded our expectations. What really stood out was the service. The staff was attentive, warm, and genuinely committed to making sure guests had an amazing experience. We felt taken care of throughout our entire stay. We left feeling refreshed and happy, and we are already talking about our next visit. We will absolutely be back.

The resort although a bit dated in some respects was very beautiful and well maintained. The pool was gorgeous and so inviting. The beach was kept clean and was very enjoyable. The check-in staff wasn't the best experience. She was not very friendly at all and didn't assist us with wifi etc. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful but a handful not so much. One big issue is that at both the beach and pool area there are not enough chairs. We had a swim up room and people continued to take our chairs that were part of the reason we booked the room. The food was okay. Some meals were better than others such as Bella and the Japanese restaurants were very good.

Just be careful. We just come back. Travelling with a two year old kid. The hotel facilities were nice and entertaining. Room was clean and decent. Easy access to beach. However, although food varies a lot, the buffet quality was not the best. You realise some of fried foods are not fresh as well as fruits. Restaurants had better menu. But the problem is management. We had a serious problem with late check out. They literally confirmed in the text conversation a fixed 15usd before we go there. And then at the last day they said it’s 15usd per hour! At the end they offer us 45 minutes access to another room to shower after we check out at 12. But the room was dirty with dirty bathroom with hairs everywhere and already used towels.almost broken hairdryer and not working light. Horrible if you just can imagine. Have in mind if you chose here. The staff not always nice. Mostly ok. But we encounter some not nice attitude from few as well. Was not that pleasant. If you go for a standard stay with no special needs of conditions it might be ok for you but I definitely will not come back. Also, if you ask for a shuttle service for a gift shop or similar add ons be sure to ask few staff cause you will here total different answers from different people. One told us there is any. Two hours later another staff told it’s cost something. And third time we are told there are two free options! The hotel definitely lack a professional management

Stay was ok but was expecting a little more. Resort was clean & staff friendly but it seemed understaffed at times especially with prolonged waits for food & drinks.
Additionally, food quality was very average at best. Very disappointed the Steakhouse,
”Brasas” was closed our entire stay(5 days).

Shower had mold (around doorways, caulking, etc), overflowed, we had to use our towels to dry the floor and the staff didn’t replace our towels so we had to call for more. Minibar has soda and light beer - no mixers or wine so def geared towards men, which was disappointing. Room always felt “damp.” Even with AC running the floor wouldn’t dry off.

Food wasn’t great. I heard food in the DR is bad and it’s true. Tuna and chicken at restaurants (Azul and the Asian restaurant) was tough, dried out, and leathery. Lunch was awful - we got “nachos” once that were crunched up bits of chips and slopped on queso and Guac…..either say you’re out or open a new bag of chips. Ordered room service quesadillas and my 8 year old has made better quesadillas in our microwave at home…….

Even though the food wasn’t great, the buffet
was decent and truly saved us after a few disappointing meals when the kids were still hungry (and we were also happy to snack bc we didn’t love our food either).

Staff were wonderful all around! Super attentive and personable. We loved every staff member we interacted with.

Overall would not come back. Staff was amazing, but the food wasn’t good at all.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the resort is beautiful! My wife and boys are vegetarian and there wasn't a lot to eat. In addition there were constant cross containmination issues. Still the staff were so great, definitely the highlight of the visit!

Save your money. Food is awful, absolutely awful.. We were pushed out of one restaurant before we even got to order dessert. The buffet closes at 10:30pm and was turning people away at 10:15pm. One of the bars smelt of sewer. Drinks absolutely suck and servers act like they hate it. They sell cigars in the theater area but you can only smoke them on the beach yet don’t say anything about kids jumping in the pool area where the swim up bar is. We purchased the club and there was honestly zero benefit other than the VIP lounge which has higher quality alcohol. VIP only beach area was small and hard to find a chair. The beach had bar cups as well as around the pool that we picked up several times. On top of that the beaches were rough. Just not relaxing at all. It was an every day chore to ask for new towels in the room and the changing of linens. The atmosphere is off and very boring. We are not party people at all but it slacked in so many ways. We wanted to go into town and all they tried to do was sell us excursions. We finally got someone to find a taxi for us to go downtown and it was $100 round trip. We decided to look into uber and it was much cheaper. We will never return to this resort. Save your money!!

This hotel offers great entertainment, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. However, the property itself feels quite dated, and some of the restaurant food did not meet our expectations.

We had especially looked forward to a Valentine’s dinner on the beach, but due to the weather, that experience was not possible. Unfortunately, rather than working with us to adjust or cancel the reservation, the staff focused on keeping the booking as is, as commission was priority to them, and did not offer flexibility with the cost. As a result, we ended up dining indoors like all the other guests, but at a much higher price point, and the portions were far more than we could finish.

Since this is an all-inclusive resort, the food itself was not the main reason we booked the experience, we were really paying for the ambiance and setting, which we were unable to enjoy.

The check-in was horrible. It seemed apparently Expedia never sent over the payment to the hotel. This mix up took hours to resolve and I was forced to charge another credit card (possible duplication payment) before the reserved room was released. While charging a credit card on file usually happens at the end of the stay as such that was not the case here. Moreover, Expedia strongly encouraged me to buy this insurance to avoid any problems such as this but to no avail. It made our stay very salty from the door. And every time I reach out to Expedia Customer Service we got mixed information they were telling me the hotel was paid which match my paper work and then we would get disconnected I would call back and the same thing would happen, until they told me they would reach out to the hotel direct to straighten this out. But it never got straightened out and I ended up paying the hotel directly for the stay.

After this long flight and almost hour drive to hotel from airport.

Check in was a disaster. They had the wrong info from our booking agency and then forced us to pay an additional $2000 to get into our room. Seemed very scammy and our friends who checked in the next day also had major issues with their reservation even though they booked directly with the hotel and were also forced to pay extra at check in.

Our experience was amazing. The staff is nice and helpful. The rooms are clean, the buffet food was good, and there are many options. Entertainment was okay, not amazing, but good enough to spend some time. We didn't like the specialty dining options, didn't think the food was good, to be honest, we enjoyed the buffet food more than the à la carte options.
Overall, great experience, we would go back, very relaxing, nice beach and pool.

Everything was wonderful the facility was really clean and the staff were all very pleasant. Anyone you walked by would greet you. The housekeepers cleaned your room everyday and filled your complimentary mini bar. Jorge one of the bell boys was so good to us he went out of his way to assist us talking to our excursion person who was picking us up as we don’t speak Spanish. He always greeted us like we were long time friends. It was a very safe resort as well.

We loved our stay at this resort! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the property was very clean with beautiful, lush gardens throughout. The beach was great for relaxing and swimming, and the water park was a fun added bonus. Overall, we would definitely recommend this resort. The only slight drawback was the food. The options were fairly limited and on the bland side, so do not expect anything exceptional in terms of cuisine.

The hotel and facilities were very nice. I just had one problem and that was with the food but that's because I'm vegan. They knew and promised they would take care of us but it was not great. I kept asking for a vegetarian or vegan burger and they looked at me like they never heard of it. Then the day before we left I found that the steak restaurant which they told me not to go to, had a vegan burger on their menu. So they didn't even know that! It was right there so they could hs e made it available to us the w tire time so I fault them. They need to let their chefs and staff know what they offer! It was so disappointing to find out so late!

Very good room, easy access to the pool and restaurant. Confortable king size bed, balcony view to the garden. The pool are is a little bit quiet but in the pool bar area the music and drinks was very good and all the staff very friendly and polite. The only thing that was out my hand was the limited pool chairs available, we need to wake up early to get two pool chairs or in the beach area, the hotel maybe need to purchase some pool and beach chairs because this situation was not right because customers were worried about that issue while they are on vacation is no wort. Another situation was the restaurant availability within do reservations was impossible for my husband and I have decent dinner because every time we went to try to eat the restaurant schedule was full until last hour 9:30pm and at that time we were able to go to bed! I thought is better to have reservations for restaurant availability. In general was a good option for Christmas vacations and definitely we could to come back!

The staff was super nice and accommodating! There were plenty of loungers for everyone, however the beach loungers seem to get taken up after a certain hour. Staff was great at the beach with serving cocktails. Restaurants were a little slow with the ordering but the good was very good and many options. Buffet food had a great variety and everything was good! The VIP Club drinks were always delicious! Convenient for morning coffee and snacks! Unfortunately the coffee machine kept breaking there but they provided coffee on the side which was a great solution in the meantime. Beds were comfortable! The fire show amd the beach party was a lot of fun.

This resort was beautiful! I would say the only downfalls were that kids were kicked out of the bar with the pool tables at 10pm which made it difficult for our family since 3/4 of us were over 18. Also, the doors..... I'm not sure if it's the humidity or not, but the doors had to be slammed to close all the way, which was not great to hear before 6AM.

We LOVED Cristofer from the entertainment crew, Eddy B. at the lobby bar, Chisley from security, and Hector when we checked in. There were more but I didn't get their names. But these guys made our trip more fun and we appreciate everything they do!

The staff are amazing, the food ok we can always find something good to eat, the room is in good condition but way too humid it made the bed sheets so damp, the bathroom shower was leaking out to the toilet and sink area, the shower head fell off on my husband the first night we stayed and the second night the whole shower pipe fell off the wall while showering. Oh and there's a door that connect to another room nextdoor that we can hear everything going on with our neighbours. Otherwise, everything was great.

One last thing, if you have a big kid inside of you that needs to come out and just have fun...Venture over to their waterpark. Floating on the lazy river was a big hit!

Extremely clean, good activities everyday. Getting dinner was a little chaotic at times, no reservations and it was difficult to know which restaurants were open on which days. There’s no snacks, so if you don’t eat before 10:30pm the only choice is room service. Mini fridge was always stocked the next day, pool is beautiful. As a vegetarian the food choices weren’t great, but that’s to be expected. Still enough variety to get by. Shows were fun to watch. Staff was nice.

The rooms were super clean! Amenities are great and kept in great condition. The staff was awesome but I do have to say Christian was amazing!! He works in the buffet and barasas! Best server ever he was super attentive and welcoming! I will definitely be coming back next year!
