The Rooms are awesome but the outdoor surrounding features such as cosmetics outside of resort is nothing special. The restaurants are at best 3 stars maybe less The is not enjoyable. They nickle and dime you for any common amenities that are free everywhere else, such as beach accommodations, house wines are terrible they charge you 6,0000 to 7000 pesos for a bottle of wine upgrade that only cost $ 7.99 dollars anything that they can make money they charge you. Drinks are not that great weak and bad liquor. The beach view is regular nothing extraordinary. This supposed to be all inclusive $500.00 night. Not worth it. They are also building a family resort feets from the all adult resort which is suicide. I don't recommended it at all l. This is realy a 7.8*.

We recently stayed at Live Aqua Punta Cana and had an excellent experience overall. The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff throughout the resort were consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, which really elevated the entire trip.

We opted for the VIP upgrade with a swim-out room, and it was absolutely worth it. Having direct access to the pool added a level of convenience and luxury that made a big difference. A special mention goes to Jose, who did a fantastic job—attentive, helpful, and always making sure everything was taken care of.

The restaurants were very good across the board, with a nice variety of options and solid quality. The beach was another highlight—clean, well-kept, and truly beautiful. The drinks were decent overall, though not always consistent depending on where you ordered.

One of the standout experiences was the spa. The hydrotherapy session in particular was amazing and definitely worth doing—it was one of the most relaxing parts of the trip.

We traveled in mid-March and couldn’t have asked for better weather—perfect conditions every day. Overall, this was a great vacation, and we would absolutely consider coming back again.

Excellent everything! Delicious food options, top notch liquor and beautiful and clean grounds. We had the Feugo suite with the live aqua club and butler. Our butler Ivan went over and beyond to ensure we had everything we wanted to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you Ivan! I hope we can meet again next year! The beach was clean and beautiful. This was our 5th visit and did not disappoint.

I surprised my wife and brought her here for her 40th birthday trip. Garcia welcomed us and not only toured us around the property but checked in with us daily like we were family visiting. My girlfriend and I stayed at Live Aqua Punta Cana to celebrate her milestone 30th birthday. While much of the resort was beautiful, our final night completely changed our experience.

We paid extra for a Romantic Dinner on the beach, expecting a premium four-course experience. Instead, we were ignored, skipped while other couples were served, and waited over two hours without receiving the meal nor any refill on drinks. We ultimately left without being served the full experience. The “replacement” offered was a standard all-inclusive dish in our rooms, not the private beach dinner we paid for.

As a same-sex couple, the treatment felt dismissive and discriminatory. Although management later apologized and promised a full refund, we had to follow up repeatedly & ultimately was ignored. I had to dispute the charge with my bank.

I’m sharing this so other LGBTQ+ travelers are aware. It’s not worth it, we even had Aqua Club. That does not guarantee respectful or equitable treatment.

Beautiful, fun place to stay for our family vacation with our adult kids.
This hotel surpassed my expectations. It was clean and smelled amazing everywhere you went. Rooms were gorgeous & comfortable. Ocean was a beautiful temperature & seaweed free, at least at this time of year (Feb). Pools were clean & beautiful, but could be a bit warmer, for my liking. They had more activities & fun things to do than I expected! Only thing missing that we would have liked was tennis or pickleball courts.
Restaurants were all good- especially loved the French restaurant (chez rose), the Mediterranean restaurant above the main pool (Huzur) and the Asian hibachi at Seishin. Also really enjoyed food at the buffet, sports bar and Italian restaurant too!
Really enjoyed hydrotherapy & a great massage at the beautiful spa!
Beach was gorgeous & service there was great!
Shows we saw at night were surprisingly great! Michael Jackson show was way beyond any others we’ve seen. And karaoke, dj parties & nightclub were lots of fun too, with great music. Foam party in pool was fun too. Lobby bar & aqua club lounge bar made great drinks for us every night.
Special thanks to Angelo, our great beach server, who went above and beyond to keep our beach days comfortable & happy. Also thanks to our butler Smerlyn, who was always happy & eager to help with anything we needed.
Staff here are all well-trained to be very friendly & customer service oriented.

ERIC (the butler) was on point! I’ve never received such a great service from any butler in my past. He stayed on point with everything, making sure every request was accommodated, replied to our messages within less than a minute! He mentioned all the services offered in our booking and made sure we got to experience it!
The best butler I’ve ever had! Very kind and attentive !

As far as the resort - I stayed with my partner 3 nights at the TIERRA SUITE room for 1K per night. Communication with the resort prior to the arrival was hard so I had to go extra mile to get attention. I was disappointed with the quality of the room for so much money. The floor was dirty, had to change my socks 3x a day, we killed 2 ROACHES during our stay, missing shower gel, the resort could def improve as far as cleaning goes. When we reported to the front desk at the VIP section about roaches it seemed like the staff was not surprised at all. My boyfriend got bitten by a bug during our last night at the resort! The food was ok around the resort, could be better.. the outdoor section was the nicest in Tierra suite with private pool but I will not be going back to that resort for sure. The roaches are unacceptable for $1000 per night.

Live Aqua Punta Cana exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was outstanding with great variety. Dinner at the Japanese, French, and Italian restaurants were our favourites, while lunch at the Mediterranean grill and the ceviche spot was fresh and delicious. Having 24-hour food and drink service was a huge bonus. The cocktails were excellent (ask for a grande), and the wine selection was surprisingly good for an all-inclusive.

Our room was beautifully appointed and very cozy, with comfortable beds, a massive shower with two shower heads, and a well-stocked bar fridge. The patio was a highlight — large, private, and complete with a cozy daybed/lounger. The entire resort was exceptionally clean. There were five immaculate pools to choose from, and the beach was beautiful and cleaned every morning. If you want a front-row beach lounger, aim to reserve one around 7:00 a.m with a beach towel. (we visited in February).

The staff were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. Being kind in return goes a long way, and it was always met with genuine warmth. The entertainment team was engaging and fun without being intrusive.

The spa was spectacular — one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I booked a 30-minute shiatsu, which included access to the hydrotherapy pool and saunas. It was heavenly and well worth the splurge.

Attention to detail, cleanliness, and little spoils throughout made this resort truly special. Highly recommended, and I hope to return one day.

I traveled here with another mom friend, and we both kept saying the same thing all week: this is the most relaxed we’ve been in YEARS. As moms, it’s rare to truly feel taken care of — but that’s exactly what happened here.
The resort is beautiful, serene, and perfectly maintained, but the staff are what make this place extraordinary. From check-in with Antony, to the VIP lounge where Milady and Alexander made every visit special, we felt welcomed and cared for everywhere we went.
Our personal concierge Smerlin was absolutely outstanding. He handled everything — beach cabanas, spa bookings, daily check-ins — and made our stay effortless and perfect.
At the Wonder Pool cabanas, Karilenny took wonderful care of us, and Josue on the beach made our days smooth and relaxing. At the spa, Teyra gave an amazing massage and reflexology treatment that left us feeling completely renewed.
The food was exceptional, especially the seafood. The hibachi dinner was both delicious and incredibly entertaining. At the café, Raquel was always welcoming and kind.
The entertainment team — Red, Yierisy, Yohan, Brian, and Jesus — brought such fun, positive energy and made activities enjoyable without ever being pushy.
Our beachside room with a private plunge pool felt like a sanctuary. The spa was world-class. The beach is breathtaking.
This wasn’t just a vacation — it was restoration. We can’t wait to come back.

Upon arrival, I thought I found my new “favorite place“. Day one. Hot tub did not work so I had to call maintenance. Day two discovered water dripping from bathroom ceiling with mold. Suspected it was toilet water from room above. Changed rooms. Day three electricity went out. Day four smoke alarms. Day five left not sure if I’ll go back. Treated us like royalty upon arrival, but as soon as we did not want participate in their “promotion“ a.k.a. timeshare, they didn’t care if we were there or not. We were no longer cheated like “Familia“!

This was our 5th time to Punta Cana and our 1st time to Live Aqua.
This Resort had the absolute BEST food we've ever had in Punta Cana! Every restaurant had amazing chefs, the buffets were great, and the fact that you did not need reservations made it even better! It really took the hassle away from figuring out what to eat, because sometimes you just don't want to pick reservations days in advance.
We will definitely 100% will be back! Our personal team to acknowledge was Alexis, Jeffry, the senorita in the café shop (I didn't get her name), & Rafael at the beach bar. Truly every staff member went above and beyond their job! They really are all great and friendly! I miss it already!

This was my first vacation with my son, and unfortunately our stay at Live Aqua Punta Cana was extremely disappointing.
Instead of a smooth check-in, we were immediately taken by a host named Garcia, who pushed a spa package and required us to attend a breakfast meeting with his manager. What should have taken minutes turned into over an hour, when all I wanted was to get to my room and enjoy my vacation. At breakfast, the manager Pedro aggressively tried to sell us a membership. Despite repeatedly saying we were not interested, he continued to pressure us, criticized booking through Expedia, and refused to respect our decision. He even made an insulting and inappropriate comment, suggesting I should take the membership because that was all I could afford. Every refusal led to another sales pitch. It felt like harassment and completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing experience—especially being my first trip with my son. I will never return to Live Aqua Punta Cana, and I strongly advise others to be aware of the aggressive sales tactics used here. And to Expedia: please do better. You should not be doing business with resorts that harass guests and attempt to undermine your customers’ booking choices.

My husband and I would love to go back here again. We had a swim-up room, which came with VIP check-in and a butler. The service was outstanding. The food and drinks were delicious. The resort is easily walkable and well-maintained. It felt luxurious and even smelled good! The pools and beach were relaxing. We enjoyed the spa and hydrotherapy area. Very clean and quiet resort. I haven’t done many all inclusives but people in my group have and they said this one is well above the average. The biggest thing was the number of staff compared to the number of guests. Every corner had at least 2 staff members smiling and asking if you needed anything. Breakfast and lunch buffet were incredible. Lots of options and variety. Evening restaurants were good too but the buffet is where the food really shines. I saw some people complaining about the pool temperature in the winter time. For us in early January, it was refreshing but not too cold. Very impressed overall and would stay again for sure.

Great spa facilities) in exchange for an hour of our time for a membership pitch, but the time commitment for this was not properly disclosed until we were already there.

Very disappointing experience. This resort was nothing like the all-inclusive resorts we’ve stayed at in Cancun. This was our fifth all-inclusive experience, and it fell far below the standard we are used to. As Asian guests, we faced repeated discriminatory treatment and dismissive attitudes from staff, which we reported to management with no meaningful resolution.

The pool situation was also unacceptable. Both the swim-up suite and even the main pool were extremely cold and unusable, and we were told there is no temperature control. We paid extra for the swim-up suite, but could not use it.

There were also undisclosed drink limits for room service, which further took away from the experience. Overall, this property failed to deliver what was promised, and we would not recommend it.

It was a fantastic stay for our family. We spanned 3 generations - grandparent, parents, and adult children - and the staff made sure everyone was taken care of. The food was wonderful, even for our gluten free and vegetarian family members. My father-in-law loved the buffet and my children sampled all the choices. Dario at the breakfast buffet was super attentive, while at the beach, Luis, Bryan, and Miguel all made sure we had everything we needed and Myra made sure everything was spotless.

This was a great resort for its price. Very nice and helpful staff. Great amenities and entertainment. Had a great time with fam. Drinks are good and you can ask for extra alcohol but already not watered down. Great to have buffet for both breakfast and lunch, even a grill buffet at night. Restaurants were average and beat was the Japanese, then mexican.
Overall worth every dollar.

We stayed here from December 13 to December 20 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the resort is generally quiet and well maintained, but the overall service did not meet expectations.
Check in was disappointing. We arrived after sunset and were given a map and pointed to a building without any help finding our room. It took about 15 minutes to locate it, which was not a great first impression for a resort of this level.
We had booked two rooms of the same type and requested months in advance to have them next to each other. Despite reminders, we never received a response and were placed on the same floor but not next to each other. Requests were often treated as favors rather than normal accommodations.
Room service and transportation were inconsistent, with delays and missed requests. Bar service was also hit or miss, with drinks often tasting watered down. At the pool bar, we experienced unprofessional behavior where staff spoke in Spanish and laughed about guests when they realized we did not speak the language, which made us uncomfortable and was reported to Guest Relations.
We were not expecting special treatment for our anniversary, just a simple acknowledgment. Aside from a bottle of wine with no note, there was no recognition.
Overall, the property has potential, but service quality, staff training, and communication need improvement to match the resort’s branding.

I would have given this hotel five stars if I hadn’t previously stayed at Live Aqua Cancún. This property would greatly benefit from stronger customer service training and more attention to detail. The amenities are very good, the restaurants are excellent, and the staff did everything possible to make our stay memorable. The pool would have been amazing if it had been heated; there’s a difference between cold water and freezing water. The food was excellent, and overall, we had a very enjoyable experience.

Our experience was amazing thanks to an incredible team. Reynaldo Gonzalez, our butler, went above and beyond - always attentive, approachable, and genuinely kind, with great restaurant recommendations. Ask for him if you go there, and you will not regret it.

Yohan Hernandez kept the entertainment lively and fun. Santiago Perez Baez was an excellent server and gave us the best chinola mojito, and Maria Cordones impressed us on her very first day with outstanding service. We cannot leave behind Heidy Sanchez at the French Restaurant. They did not have more desert, and she went above and beyond to get to my wife her creme brulee. Truly a fantastic team all around - definetly coming back!

Absolutely gorgeous resort. Lovely, well-appointed suites. Exceptional service. Entertainment and hospitality teams were A++. Great food selection and bountiful drinks. We’ve been there twice and would go back again in a heartbeat. Get a swim up pool room if you can.

For older people it would be better to have bars in the shower and a better access to the room
My room was the last in the hallway making difficult for whoever has mobility issues .
I asked when I checked in but the answer was there is only ONE room with bars in the shower
I dont think I will go back this was my 3rd time there also no rails to get in the swimming pool.

Horrible experience, had food poisoning on the first night and I was not the only one. left after two days and moved to a better hotel. I was promised refund by hotel and that did not happen. Never again.

A well kept and clean upscale boutique style resort that allowed you to relax and unwind. Property was well laid out and everything was easy access. The restaurants and bars came with excellent service and variety. The staff were very attentive and eager to help you enjoy a wonderful vacation!

I absolutely LOVED my trip to Live Aqua. The staff were friendly, my room had a huge Jacuzzi tub on the main balcony and an upper deck balcony with additional loungers and privacy. I heard the \"Live Aqua\" corporation is building a family resort next year, and although it wasn't noisy (minimal construction noise) it was a bit of an eye sore if your room faced it - which mine didn't so I was bothered. There were several wonderful restaurants to choose fun and I loved the food!
