Such a beautiful spot! First of all, the view from the room is something I crave! The sunsets from the balcony or rooftop terrace is a must see! The beaches are packed. So much better on the rooftop or from the balcony or pool. I was so unhappy with the hotel I had booked. Despite not being eligible for a refund at that hotel, I had to spend my last night in PV at this hotel. This was my second visit to this hotel in a year. I will not stay anywhere else now. It is quiet here! It is close enough to the Melacon but far enough to have a good quiet nights rest. The amenities are amazing. Don't order room service, the food is better in the dining area. The staff here are always going above and beyond. The rooms are clean, modern, and beautiful. The room I stayed in had a kitchenette that was fully stocked with everything you need. If you see some geko on the roof, they are just there to eat the bugs. They wont bother you! They wont come down from the roof area. They were quite entertaining and adorable! The only negative I would have is that the staff don't speak the best English, but they do their best! It was difficult with the tsunami warning on my last stay when they could not explain what the emergency procedures were. Everything turned out okay in the end! Great hotel 5/5! See you again soon!!!

Pool is tiny. Not room for many chairs or people. The only service is at noon but not staffed for more than 6- 10 people. Too expensive for not being all inclusive. Prices of drinks and food at the pool are on the high end.

The room was very nicely appointed for two people. Big bathroom. Teeny kitchen area with exactly 2 of everything, i.e., spoon, fork, plate, etc. Gorgeous view. Tiny patio. Terribly uncomfortable chairs. Bed was firm, almost to the uncomfortable level. There is a club across the street so bring ear plugs. We had a sound machine blasting and could still hear the BOOM BOOM from it.
Our TV went out. It was a bad cable. Took several calls and 2-1/2 days to get maintenance to put a new cable in.
Rooftop pool area is very nice. However, bar had nothing to make drinks that were on the menu. No fruit for margaritas, say what??

There are a number of good things about this property: location, clean, nice sized rooms, very comfortable beds. However there are two things that soured me. One is that you could not flush toilet paper down the toilet! There was a small covered basket for it. This is my sixth trip to Mexico and I have never experienced this before. The second issue was the shower was very slippery and I almost fell twice. They did not have a rubber mat for the shower- they gave me extra clothes mats to put into the shower. I would have given it a 3- 3.5 star except for these two serious flaws.

Breakfast was made to order, delicious and decent sized helpings. Staff were friendly and courteous, especially Bris from breakfast and Francisco the bell hop. We stayed in Penthouse 1 which had its own large balcony and its own small pool with ocean views, also quite private even with the rooftop pool next to the PH. Beach chairs and umbrellas were complimentary of service, there were beach bags available to use, an endless supply of beach towels. Maid service was spectacular and checked in daily if we needed the suite cleaned, and would come when asked to so they could clean while we were out! We stayed as a family of 6 and were treated like royalty the whole time. If you need a cab, they get you one, if you need any info, they got it for you! Hotel is also located across the street from the beach so perfect views and a short 5-10min walk from the Malecon! Highly recommend Pepe’s Tacos around the corner and down a block from the Hotel entrance if your looking for cheap, but delicious authentic Mexican tacos!

The staff were very helpful and accommodating, and all of them were highly professional and friendly. The location made it very walkable to the area attractions. They serve a wonderful breakfast, that they described as being continental, but it was a fully prepared/cooked meal. Much more than we had expected. Everything about the stay there was very much to our liking.

It's a short walk (5 minutes maybe) from the beach. It's not too far from the Malecon. The hotel had really great breakfast, sit down with various menu options, included as part of the stay. Hotel staff was very nice. The room was even decorated very cute and nicely painted. I would consider staying there again. Only thing we had trouble with was using the television.

If you are done with the all inclusives, this is a great option. Warm breakfast (ours was included in our stay) and a roof top bar and cafe for when you need a little something in the afternoon but don't want a full meal. Staff at the bar cater to your every need and are fun! Proximity to the Malecon - not too close where you can hear it though. We had dinners at El Barracuda across from the hotel. Beds comfy, pillows great. Clean. Great shower. Thank you Paramar!!!

We were very pleased with this hotel. Breakfast was excellent, rooftop pool was great with no trouble getting chairs, the room was spacious and had an amazing beach view directly facing the sunset each night, and the location was perfect. Away from the craziness but only 5-10 min walk to the Malecon, great restaurants in the area, convenience stores, restaurants, and a grocery store all within a couple blocks, and a short Uber ride to anything else in PV (including a $10 ride from the airport). I would absolutely stay here again!

Very spacious with a kitchenette (the fridge kept our drinks COLD!) a massive bathroom, comfy bed and ample space for our stuff. Best part was the VIEW! Having a room right on the beach was amazing. We visited the rooftop pool multiple times during the trip and loved it. We had amazing pina coladas up there. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful during the stay and the free breakfast was a nice perk. They had beach towels, chairs and umbrellas for us to bring to the beach which was appreciated.

My room was very clean and kept that way throughout my stay. Very quiet also. Beautiful full ocean view from my 4th floor room. All the staff I met here are amazing. Made to order breakfast every morning lots to choose from. Rooftop pool is wonderful always found a place to sit to enjoy a delicious Paloma during the afternoon and a great spot to get some amazing sunset pictures. I will stay here again.

I love this hotel and have stayed here before, which is why I would gladly stay again. Unfortunately, the hot water was a problem during this visit. I took three showers and two of them were cold. I also had some difficulty with the door locks—it often took several tries to get the door to open.
That said, there are many things this hotel does very well. The breakfast is excellent. It’s made-to-order with a good selection, which I really appreciated.
The best part of the hotel is the employees. They are professional, friendly, and very helpful, which makes a big difference in the overall experience.
The location is also fantastic. It feels very safe and is directly across the street from the beach.
I stayed in one of the more affordable rooms, so I didn’t have a water view, but the room was large, quiet, and extremely clean. It also had a small kitchenette, which would be great for families. The room was very comfortable overall.
Because I enjoy this hotel and have stayed here before, I hope they address the hot water issue and improve the door locks. If they do, it will make a very good hotel even better.

The location is also fantastic. It feels very safe and is directly across the street from the beach.
I stayed in one of the more affordable rooms, so I didn’t have a water view, but the room was large, quiet, and extremely clean. It also had a small kitchenette, which would be great for families. The room was very comfortable overall.
Because I enjoy this hotel and have stayed here before, I hope they address the hot water issue and improve the door locks. If they do, it will make a very good hotel even better.

This is the most beautiful spot- the rooftop pool is HEATED gloriously warm, and the views are unreal. The rooms are spacious with gorgeous views. Our family of 5 was very comfortable in the 2 king bed room. The food at the rooftop pool was affordable and delicious. The breakfast was made to order and absolutely wonderful!! The location was walkable to the Malecon and Romantic Zone but it was a quiet, uncrowded hotel which is exactly what we wanted. I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants the convenience of walkability/ fantastic included breakfast/ amazing pool with low crowds. We saw whales from the balcony!!

My friend and I had a great stay at the Paramar in Penthouse 2. The views over the ocean were incredible, wonderful breakfasts were far more than continental and the accommodation overall was very good. However, the beach is not ideal in front of the hotel - gritty sand, and if you enjoy beach walks you are very limited in how far you can go due to large rocks and barriers. When Miseal checked us in his focus was so entirely on trying to sell us on various excursions, that he failed to tell us not to drink the water in our room. We were both affected by Traveler's gastro from Day 2 of our trip onwards. Needless to say, this affected our ability to fully enjoy our stay. We also had to repeatedly ask the bartender to turn down the music which was so loud that it made being by the pool less than ideal.

The hotel fell down in numerous ways and is not even a 3 star. It is not really beachfront with two buildings and many power lines and cables blocking the sea view. Breakfast was skimpy with only one main menu item generally allowed and a complete breakfast requiring further payment. Pool was small and did not have adequate lounge chairs and umbrellas. Balcony suffered from light pollution with a bright porch light having no turn off switch. Would not stay here again.
