We had issues with the room since the check in. Door unable to open. Got stock inside the room, ac turned off and when back ri the room at night, floor was wet and bed linen damp, documents damp, when asked for the car with 2 hours ahead the car never arrived until we got the the Fd to requested again. Great customer service.

Our room was okay for my wife and 2 kids(10/13) but it had limited to zero privacy even in the OPEN bathroom area. We had to make our own privacy barrier with towels/comforter from the bed. The kids club wasn’t too bad and our 10yr old managed even though they didn’t offer any electronic options(video games), foosball, ping pong or air hockey games. Those were specifically for the Teens club but NO teens were seen around the resort and felt they could’ve opened up the Teen club to the older(10 and above) for the Kids club to use it since they’re just collecting dust. They did however have a great kids splash/pool area and playground. One key point to remember is that if you don’t make a dinner reservation EACH night then you will be left with the limited menu from their 24hr cafe or bar(set hours), maybe you could find something on the room service(24hr) menu but it won’t be anything other than the standard burger, pizza or similar. The pools were nice and quiet and the beach area was serene, kids could find some shells. Wished they had more activities for adults/families as they were very limited each day. Overall, a really good resort for the value.

We stayed here for 7 days with our family, including our 5½-year-old, and had a wonderful experience overall. It’s incredibly kid-friendly, with a dedicated kids’ center, evening activities for families, and 6–7 pools, so there was always somewhere to swim and play. The food, especially dinner, felt like a fine dining experience and was one of the highlights of our stay.

A few things I’d point out for future guests. The property is very large, so I’d pay close attention when choosing your casa. Being close to the amenities you plan to use most can make a big difference, as getting around the resort can be inconvenient.

Also, while the pools are fantastic, there isn’t a wide variety of activities beyond swimming. The beach is more of a sheltered inlet than an open beach, which was a bit disappointing if you’re expecting a traditional beach experience.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend this resort for families, especially those with young children. Just know that it’s best suited for a relaxing, pool-focused vacation rather than one packed with different activities.

Second time staying at the Hilton Tulum. The staff is great. Daniel took great care of us at the pool and Dani from the entertainment team gave us so fun at the pool. Also had the opportunity to take a spin class in the pool. That was not on my bingo card for 2026 but so much fun.
Food is always a struggle as there was no buffet offered at night, all restaurants require a reservation and the food is not it.
Also there is an increase in wildlife on the property that was not there 4 years ago. That was not my thing as I was on high alert to make sure they were not running up on me while relaxing.

And there was no buffet dinner it’s hard to do dinner because everybody had to make reservations sometimes we can’t get in at all.
we paid full price for bad service I don’t expect this from Hilton I will not recommend this to my family or friends and I will really carefully pick Hilton next time or I will ignore it

Our group booked four rooms at Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya to celebrate three birthdays, but the trip was overshadowed by constant room access issues and poor customer service.
On our first day, 3 of our 4 rooms had problems with the bracelet key system. Room 4101 was the worst—we were unable to reliably access it for almost our entire stay. Every day we visited Guest Services, who claimed the issue was fixed, yet we still needed staff to manually open the door, often waiting 20+ minutes outside our room.
On the second night, guests in Casa 4 Room 326 became trapped inside their room for over 30 minutes due to a faulty lock, causing us to miss part of our 9:30 p.m. dinner reservation. Staff initially refused to accommodate us, and although a manager eventually helped, promises of further accommodations were never honored. We were later moved to another room, only to have the bracelet for that room fail as well.
Communication throughout the resort was inconsistent. We received four different answers regarding hookah service hours. On our final morning, after being told it opened at 9 a.m., we were delayed again and experienced staff laughing while we sought assistance.
To make matters worse, on departure day Room 4101 still would not open. It took over 30 minutes and multiple employees to gain access, nearly causing us to miss our airport transfer.
The resort is beautiful, but the repeated lock failures, lack of follow-through, poor communication/service ruined the stay.

Resort is nice upon entry, clean spacious rooms, good food for breakfast lunch and dinner, great activities at the resort, nice waterpark and kids center. Me and friends did experience racism at the pool with a white guest from another country, telling me and friends to go back to our country or where we came from. The staff attempted to rectify the situation and although they were apologetic, the incident/altercation happened a second time this time a male got involved. We’ve been to this resort now twice and never experienced this. This definitely dampened the rest of the trip, Overall nice resort besides this issue.

The property was beautiful - Everyone was excellent. The 2 concerns was the animals on the property. We spotted a Boar, Large Racoon families in the lobby and very close. They come very close so if your not prepared you can be scared. Also I needed to call for extra towels in my room Building #1 5 different times and each time I was told someone was coming with fresh towels and they never came. So much so we had to go get our own. They assured us each time they were coming and never did.The property pool, food and staff was excellent.

The entire staff from concierge to room service were exceptionally friendly. The property itself was very well kept and felt new. With that being said, it lacks things to do bits either the pool or a restaurant apart from the two hours of nightly entertainment. There’s a lot of missed opportunity. There should be more things to do for adults. Maybe a rec room or daily activities at a designated pool and MUSIC. They don’t play enough music. It was relaxing but quite boring.

We’ve stayed at many Hilton Hotels & Resorts properties, so we had high expectations—especially after visiting another resort in Cancun (not a Hilton) a few months prior.

Unfortunately, this resort fell short in several areas. The food was underwhelming, and while the staff were kind, they seemed consistently overworked and understaffed—especially at restaurants and for the shuttles. We stayed at Casa 5, which is farther from the lobby, and shuttle wait times were often 10+ minutes.

Our last day was especially disappointing. At the kids’ pool, it was difficult to get food or drinks due to only a couple of servers handling a large crowd.

For the price of an all-inclusive, there wasn’t anything that felt special. Store prices were extremely high—we paid $55 for sunscreen, and most items were about three times U.S. prices. Definitely bring your own essentials.

The room was decent with an ocean view, but the frosted glass bathroom doors weren’t ideal for a family with kids.

On the positive side, the beach was beautiful (bring water shoes due to coral), and the drinks were strong—unlike some other resorts in Cancun.

Overall, we wouldn’t return.

The hotel is beautiful, and the staff were very kind and respectful. We stayed in Casa 6, with our 8 and 4-year-old kids. They loved the water park and the playground. Would recommend water shoes for the water park. The pool in the main lobby was closed. We didn't use any of the other pools (near Casa 3) due to the smell of the Sargassum (would not recommend staying in Casa 3 for now).

All the à la carte restaurants were delicious. I suggest making reservations for the restaurants as soon as you make the reservations for the hotel (they get booked in advance). The buffet near Casa 5 is hit or miss; the buffet in the Lobby is better.

The selection of alcohol is very good, but they use concentrate for all their juices, which brings cocktails down. I don't understand why they don't use real Lime.

The transportation between the houses is not as frequent as they report it, especially during \"peak hour\" (Before and after shows); but the walk is 15 min at the most between the main Lobby and Casa 6.

The rooms are nice, quiet, and clean.

We loved our stay and likely would go again.

Everything super clean. Kids club should make an effort to keep the kids busy and parents free, there are several rules and they call you whenever something is off with the kids, we couldn't enjoy a (well paid) spa moment because we had our phone buzzing. In general the staff is kind, but they approach their rules without context making things more complicated/frustrating than they supposed to be. The app is a disaster.

Went as a family vacation with 5 year old and the kid pool does offer a great place for the kids but besides popcorn chicken, they are very limited on food. Reservations are required for every restaurant and they were booked for almost the whole trip so we had no opportunity to try a few restaurants. Gym is amazing. The beach is small as half the resort is too rocky or narrow to use. If you do not pay for the enclave top level, just assume you won't get the best service or any of the extras.

A heartfelt thank you to the General Manager, the Front Desk Manager, the Reservation Manager, the front desk staff, and every single team member we interacted with—your service was truly top-notch and made our stay so memorable. You can tell the resort is very well planned, thoughtfully designed, and maintained with great care.

We stayed in room 2309 at Casa 2, and the cleanliness was a perfect 10/10—everything was spotless and very well maintained.

We traveled to celebrate our son’s second birthday, and the team went above and beyond to make it special for our family. A huge shoutout to Ivan, who took exceptional care of us and made sure every need was met. His attention and kindness really made our stay unforgettable.

This resort checked all the boxes - beautiful ocean view and huge rooms stocked with amenities. Made my vacation (a 50th birthday trip with 7 friends from multiple locations) amazing. The food was resort food (fine, not exceptional except for the Mexican restaurant, where we went for food) but that's normal (having stayed at 5 resorts in the Caribbean, this is totally the way it is), and you get a lot of value for the money.

Overall, the resort is very beautiful and organized. It’s pleasant to simply be there with the modern design and look. However, the rooms are a bit poorly established: the bathroom did not have a fan so throughout our weekly stay, the smell was pungent.

The staff was very nice and respectful, and it was very nice to have a shuttle system traveling 24/7 past all living quarters to pick up and drop off the people vacationing.

We really enjoyed the events that were planned throughout our time. It was well prepared for and fantastically performed.

Room was in good condition but we didn’t get full room service everyday. I wasn’t expecting a thorough cleaning but just having our beds made, trash changed, and towels refreshed was a bit lackluster. The place never really felt like it got cleaned the entire time we were there. We definitely didn’t get any top ups on shampoo and soap, etc. we got our drink fridge restocked I guess. Anyhow that could be better.

Buffet staff was awesome - very friendly and made us feel welcome. We loved having breakfast and lunch at the buffet just for the staff interactions.

Making reservations was the single most frustrating experience and everyone in our group agrees. All places booked up by Sunday and we had gotten there on Friday??? We eked out a few places but never got to experience Aume, La Luce, or Teppenyaki. It is kind of absurd that it is that competitive. And with no guidance as to how quickly things filled up, we really had no shot.

Anyway, for having kids with us this was fine. If i was on an adults-only trip, these things would bother me.

We got kicked out of our day bed the first day after we set up saying we only have access to certain area day beds and our reservations for dinner were all scheduled for 8:30- 9 pm at night even though we had a 6 year old with us. Check-in was 3 pm we didn’t get a room until 4pm even though we arrived at 12:30 we couldn’t even get waters in the room or even enough towels for only 3 of us on a daily basis. My daughter got sick and threw up after dinner the first night, we asked for new sheets and comforter after 2 hours and several calls we received. Would never go back and after spending $8500 for 5 nights…was definitely a waste and would never recommend.

The room was very comfortable, and the view was beautiful. However, in my opinion, the water in the shower was not hot enough; it was quite warm, but I prefer it hot. On a positive note, the breakfast was the BEST.

The Hilton resort is a beautiful resort with an amazing view to the beach. The staff was very nice and friendly made sure we were always good and help us with any questions. I recommend this resort and would definitely go again someday!
