ALFRED was our concierge and he really took good care of us. He arranged our dinner reservations - always available and very helpful. I think (not sure) if you book through Expedia you get Alfred! Restaurants are very good! Good for families or singles. Lots to do - kids park, lazy river, 3 pools - 1 quiet pool and 2 pools with swim up bar. Great beach and lots of wild life. Another staff member - Edgar - always remembers our names from year to year. You might meet him outside one of the restaurants in the evening. He can take care of anything:)

This was hands-down the best resort we have ever been to. It was super clean and the staff was extremely caring and friendly! Adan was our concierge and he was awesome! He got us into the restaurants we asked for and continually checked on us. He genuinely wanted us to enjoy our time! We also loved the spa! We did the hydrotherapy and wow!!! Gerard at the spa took us through it and was amazing (because we had no idea what we were doing). He was fantastic! He even made us a wonderful coffee! We just got home today and I absolutely recommend this resort!!! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!

We had a fantastic stay at Grand Sirenis. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we had a pleasant and relaxing experience.

The food was excellent, with a great variety of options and consistently high quality throughout our stay. It really added to the overall enjoyment of the trip.

We especially want to recognize the Expedia representatives on site, Eduardo and Alfred. They were absolutely fantastic—professional, helpful, and genuinely invested in making sure guests had the best possible experience. Their support made a big difference for us.

The only area that could use improvement is the spa. The prices felt quite high relative to the services provided, and the water circuit experience was not as relaxing as expected. Since it is available to many guests across the hotel, it was often very crowded, making it difficult to fully enjoy and unwind.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. The service, food, and overall atmosphere made it a memorable experience.

Our stay at Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa was absolutely amazing from check-in to check-out! From the moment we arrived, everyone was so attentive and welcoming.
The resort itself is beautiful and incredibly clean, you can really tell they take great pride in maintaining the grounds. Every area felt well cared for and relaxing.

The staff were truly INCREDIBLE. Guest services consistently checked in on us, and since we booked through Expedia, we even received a complimentary hydrotherapy spa experience, which was such a nice touch. At dinner each night, the staff always made sure we were happy, and the service at every restaurant was top-tier.

Our favorite experience was Carnal—the show and the food were both AMAZING and definitely a highlight of our trip!

But the person who truly made our stay unforgettable was Isaias, the bartender at Sambay. He went above and beyond for my boyfriend and me, providing exceptional service and making every visit so fun and memorable.

Overall, this resort was nothing short of perfect. If you’re thinking about going—DO IT. You won’t regret it!

My family just returned from a 5 day stay at this hotel and we could not have been happier- the property is modern and is beautifully decorated as well as very clean in all areas. The staff is lovely and highly attentive to its guests, making us feel pampered and cared for. The concierge staff (special thanks to Juan) went out of their way to get us the best dinner times and restaurants as the restaurants were quite crowded due to spring break. The pools are massive and never felt crowded, the food was delicious in the buffets and specialty restaurants and the room was cleaned well each day. We loved seeing the adorable monkeys and other animals too! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Rooms were large and spacious. Our bedding had two stains upon arrival. Food was fine but we were disappointed with the restaurant Carnal as food was no up to par. Entertainment was fun. Pool activities were great, loved the lazy river! Definitely need more shuttle vehicles. They were infrequent and not large enough. We were unable to ride around them to check out resort, told must have a destination. Concierge service was excellent. Luis, Yessica, Adan and Alfred were standouts. Food service staff were excellent and attentive. Coffee shops Tostados was slow and had no spoons one day and no cutlery the next day which was disappointing.

This resort is only for people who enjoy walking. While the buffet is great and the cafe has good coffee, everything requires quite a walk.
Also, don't waste your time talking to the myriad of concierges that will approach you. They can't even solve a simple request, though they are really good at pretending that they will.

Me encantó el hotel. Todo fue excelente, la habitación, las amenidades de la habitación, las albercas, los bares, los snack bars y el buffete todo excelente. El concierge todos súper amables, te explicaban todo súper claro y te ayudaban con todas tus dudas. No recuerdo el nombre de las chicas pero estuvimos en el edificio 24 y en verdad que su atención fue excelente. El Front Desk igual todos super amables. El Bell boy de nuestra llegada es de Veracruz e igual súper síper amable. Los meseros The Park en especial Jaime otra onda y del restaurante Carnal el mesero Adolfo igual super amable y del Tonino el mesero Basilio fuera de serie nos atendió 11/10. No tengo ni una sola queja del hotel solo que no pudimos estar más días porque en verdad lo vale. Estaremos pronto de vuelta.

Room was a disaster. Drains in room did not work called for service everyday I was there. The drain in sink was fixed day 3 along with the shower handheld component. However, shower drain never was fixed and we had a flood in the room that reached out to the beds. My kids were showering and didn’t realize that it was overflowing on the fourth day. We called to complain someone came out and tested and said it was fine. I was told it was fixed so the fifth day they didn’t pay attention to it assuming it was fixed. Well, it certainly was not and just a bad flood all over again. The hotel did not want to compensate us in any way.

We enjoyed our stay here, rooms were clean and well maintained. Our Expedia booking gave use a personal concierge, Adan he was exceptional from dinner reservations, and advice about local excursions, and things to do. The property had a kids club, a separate teenagers club. All the staff from bartenders, servers, and housekeeping made sure our stay was wonderful. Would recommend this property for families with kids. Food buffet had many options, and most of the food was catered towards American cusine.

This is a wonderful resort! We've been to a few all inclusives; we love how spread out this one is (as long as you're OK to walk a lot), how much nature/animals there are, the food is wonderful, staff & drinks are great too! Restaurants are hard to book, but buffet is great. Not crowded either, never had to wait in line much for drinks or food, and could always find beach chairs. We LOVE the beach here! Snorkeling, plenty of chairs, white sand.

Amenities are great. You are in a middle of wildlife. We see monkeys, iguanas and coaties everyday. it is a big resort to explore. They have a few big pools. The beach wasn't as what we expected because of the sargassum but the resort staffs did try to remove them everyday. There are sections where you can swim but we decided to stay by the pool. They have the carts/buggies to bring guests around. They have a variety of entertainments every night and we were able to book a la carte for most nights. The nights that we did not get to book was by preference because our child wanted the buffet and we wanted to watch the nightly shows. On the first day, can't complain about the room. It is clean. The sleeping area looked updated. But the bathroom could use some updating but it was clean. The only issue was that we had to switch rooms twice and would have been 3x had we not insisted to just exchange the mattress of the sofa bed or the whole sofa bed with the sofa bed from the other room. The two switches from before was needed; 1) outlet sparked losing electricity in all outlets and 2nd) sliding door broken, can't use the balcony. the issue with the sofa bed took a long time to get resolved. Probably due to language barrier. But when we spoke with their guest services representative Adan, it was resolved right away. Adan was always there to attend to our needs. This is the first time that someone actually made sure all our concerns are addressed. This is top notch customer service!

A very nice resort set in a beautiful location, with friendly and welcoming staff. The only downside for us was how difficult it was to book their top restaurants—even when we tried to reserve them on our first day. The rooms were slightly outdated, but still comfortable, spacious, and well-maintained. Overall, it was a very good experience.

We had issues with our first room so we had to change rooms. The issues were our air conditioner would not cool. The safe in our room would not work right

We also had a smell in our room that we couldn’t figure out where that was coming from

This hotel is nice if good meals and culture are not important to you. I found it quite unacceptable how hard it was to get a dinner reservation. I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights, and only 2 of the nights I was able to get dinner reservations, and it was at the same restaurant. This meant that 11 of the 13 meals I ate at this resort were from the buffet, which got old quick. I mentioned being unable to reserve dinner to multiple staff, and they were unsurprised and unable to help. In terms of alcohol, the drinks were very weak and made with expectedly cheap alcohol. Another caution would be for anyone hoping to experience culture. You truly could have told me I was any Caribbean resort and I wouldn’t know better. For me, this was disappointing. I did the hydrotherapy at the spa which was beautiful and very nice! For anyone who is looking to stay at a mediocre beach with great pools and a beautiful spa, and is not worried about quality meals, this is a nice stay. It was clean, staff were very helpful and friendly, and the resort was huge with much to do. Our housekeeper kept our space clean. Our room was okay, but there is an open concept space with a window between the bathroom and bed space, and the door to cover this was broken, so we had little privacy and had to hang up blankets for coverage. All in all, in terms of all inclusive, this place is fine, but seek out different accommodations if you want good food and culture.

We had an incredible experience at the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa and would absolutely stay here again.

The resort itself is beautiful, with clean pools, and plenty of space to relax without ever feeling overcrowded. The food was excellent, with lots of variety across the buffet and à la carte restaurants, making it easy to find something great every day.

There are also tons of activities and entertainment options, so whether you want to relax or stay active, there’s always something to do.

What really made this trip stand out was the exceptional staff. Our concierge Giovani, along with Yessica and Jorge, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their attention to detail and genuine care made our stay even more enjoyable.

If you’re looking for an all-inclusive resort in Riviera Maya with great food, beautiful pools, and outstanding service, this is an excellent choice.

We will definitely be returning!

Stayed March 1-11, 2026 The beach was terrible with sargassum never seen before. I realize this is a natural phenomenon but no effort was made to reduce it. The Sargassum started to rot making a smell so bad it permeated most of the resort. Bathrooms needed upgrading. Staff amazing. Pool areas wonderful. If you are a “beach” person stay away…..if you are a pool person it’s good.

Room very outdated. Nowhere to put your clothes. Air conditioning didn’t work and Maintenance had to come three times during our week to try and fix it. Lots and lots of Stairs everywhere. Steep big stairs to get to main buffet and lobby with only one small elevator. Beaches were a total disaster. Pools were ok. Drinks were good. Bar tenders are quite rude throughout the whole property. Food was amazing. Staff at The buffet were kind and very good.

This resort has two great activity pools and a large, quiet pool. Finding chairs was rarely an issue . Our room was amazing and the food was exceptional. We booked our a la carte meals with the lobby cincierge when we arrived and he was great. There is definitely a lot of walking as it's a huge resort, so bring a good neach/pool bag and travel mug so you dont have to go back and forth to your room. That said, Grand Sirenis is definitely a resort we'll visit again.

I cannot say enough positive things about our experience at Grand Sirenis. The staff were incredible. They keep the resort spotless, were extremely friendly, and just very helpful and attentive. Adan went especially above and beyond. When my husband was trying to find a specific peso for his collection, he tracked one down and sought out my husband to share. We were shocked. The entertainers were also amazing. Different shows every night and the quality left me speechless. The pools and lazy river were clean and the pool entertainments made each day fun. My kids had a blast and we definitely hope to return again.

We loved the resort. It looked like it had recently remodeled. All the furniture and decor in the buffets and restaurants looked new. The food was amazing! The outdoor sunset bar area was huge and a great way to relax before air after dinner. So many options for drinks, ice cream, coffees! The room was clean and well appointed. It looked modern and fresh, guessing also a recent remodel. Not the biggest fan of the energy saving motion sensing lights in the bathroom. My daughter was in the tub and out of the range of the sensor so she was tasked with getting out in pitch black. Also, having the lights turn on full force when you get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom is quite a wake up call. That being said, the lights were our only criticism of our visit to Grand Sirenis. There were plenty of shuttles to take you places on the resort if you want, but you can easily get your 10,000 steps (and then some) if you love to walk like we did. There are lots of steps, so I would be hesitant to bring my very much less mobile in-law; however, if you are savvy finding elevators and using the shuttle, I think we could find solutions. Lots of pools - quiet if you like quiet, energetic if you prefer that. Lots of seats around the pools and beach. We didn't visit the beach as much as planned because of the sargassum. I think it must be a losing effort at this point of the season so except for some pushing around, it wasn't really being removed except by the member beach club.

Our family returned to Grand Sirenis in February 2026, and once again the resort delivered an exceptional vacation experience. This was our third stay, and it truly felt like coming home to a place where the staff genuinely cares about every guest.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism. A heartfelt thank you to Marlene Castro, Erik, and Head Chef Fernando, whose dedication and attention to detail made our stay outstanding. Their commitment to service is one of the reasons we keep returning.
Our two grandsons had an unforgettable time exploring the resort’s unique blend of jungle pathways, beach lagoons, and archaeological elements. The natural setting is unlike anything else in the Riviera Maya—lush, peaceful, and full of wildlife. It’s the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation for families.
We also want to recognize the entire resort team for their excellent service throughout our stay. Every interaction—from dining to housekeeping to guest services—was handled with genuine care and professionalism.

This was our first all inclusive vacation. The room was beautiful, except for the scent of cleaning products. The buffet food was average, but the other restaurants(for dinner) were above average. Drinks are just average(house, wine, and beer and cocktails) There were shows in the theater, which were good, but the sound is very loud. You need earplugs. The musical entertainment at night (bands) was very good. All the staff were very helpful and many spoke English. The gym is OK, but the weights are very old. The bike tour was excellent. The beach is quite large and we were able to kayak one day. There are lots of activities for children.

We had an excellent time at this resort. Place was clean, food was great. Staff was very informative, especially Eric. Very pleasant and always helpful. Concierge staff was great (Yessica, Joseph, Geovanni and Mexia) They always were very helpful. Ala cart restaurants were all great from the staff to the food. We enjoyed Carnal the best followed by Pueblito Lindo. We had an opportunity to scuba dive and the staff there was also excellent and nonweldable. They took us to a reef that was abundant with fish and very colorful. We enjoyed the evening shows and the atmosphere of the several bars. Overall this was a great stay.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel from Feb 4-12, 2026. Despite reading some negative reviews, we had an amazing experience, especially the service from our Expedia rep Erik Medina.

We stayed in building 10, 2nd floor. It was less noisy than the main floor (golf carts come and go here). Overall, the noise was not a huge issue but I'd suggest ear plugs if you're a light sleeper as you can sometimes hear both people and birds in the early hours of the night. We had a junior king room and it was perfect, clean and mattress/pillows were very comfortable. Everything worked as expected.

The grounds are very well maintained and the sitting areas had nice, new furniture both indoors and outside. Be prepared to run into some spider monkeys, coati and occasional cats and racoons! There are lots of birds chirping around as well. There are 3 main unheated pools. We found them all very clean and we appreciated that there always seemed to be lounge chairs available throughout the day. No racing to reserve chairs!

We found the staff always pleasant and attentive to our needs and requests. Customer service was a pleasure.

We went to all but one a-la-carte restaurants (seafood as we couldn't fit it in) but we did make all of our reservations right after we arrived which I highly recommend as early times fill up quickly (schedule opens each Wed am) The food/drinks were excellent!

I would highly recommend this resort! We plan to go back again if possible.

Although a little dated, the room was very spacious and well maintained. The food was excellent at all the restaurants we tried. There are three swimming pools, all geared towards their own crowds. All the staff everywhere was nice, polite, friendly and helpful. The only bad side to this resort is the beach: it is relatively small ans has lots of rocks and corals which makes getting in and out sometimes difficult.

The staff were all so pleasant. The grounds were very well kept and beautiful to walk through. We had issues with our room, only security with a master key was able to unlock our door. We were moved rooms but only after spending many trips back to get it all worked out. We were given a complimentary 25 min massage for the trouble, which was appreciated. The food was blah, would have loved to have some fresh tacos, food with some flavor and desserts that made me want two. The drink selection was generic but good. Loved the fruit smoothie stand. The pool music was not a party in Mexico vibe, although they were trying.Beautiful area and it was a pleasant weekend.

The rooms were really nice and the staff was great. The two issues I had were the large pool U shaped was very cold. The other problem was they would only allow you 50% a la carte restaurant's. Well, unless you wanted to eat at 8:30pm which is late for us.

Room was spacious and modern in the scheme of all inclusive rooms. Staff were very attentive. Food was decent at the a la carte restaurants and I found it easy to get reservations. The resort is large and somewhat confusing to navigate at times but there are maps posted around the walkways. There were plenty of pool/beach chairs available.

His other staff members Alfred was a great server, Alfredo was helpful upon our initial welcome, and Aaron making the night shift smooth. It was clean, smooth, delicious food, kid friendly. Room was good, a bit hot for me, they were accommodating and moved us rooms, and provided me with fans. The pools are amazing, lazy river was a blast with a drink in each hand. Food was absolutely amazing. Cool seeing the monkeys, cats, possums, etc. Second time going there in 18 years, wont wait half as long to go back, thanks for an amazing experience!
