This is a lovely resort and we have stayed there twice. There are lots of different activities and live music to complement your stay. The rooms are spacious and clean. The only disappointment this time was that we beach was unusable. It was covered in seaweed and it made the ocean water brown and very smelly. They \"upgraded\" our room and gave us rooms closest to the beach, which would be nice under normal circumstances but not so much under these. If you are hoping for a beach holiday I would not book here for now but if you do not mind spending your holiday in pools only this resort is still great and the food and staff were excellent.

We stayed at the Grand Palladium White Sands April 1-7. When we arrived we were greeted by staff and told we had concierge service with our stay!! Raul helped us whenever we needed him and was so friendly the whole week. The resort was the most beautiful i’ve ever been to. Staff was amazing. The pools were warm enough yet not too warm to swim. There was always some food at the buffet that we loved so no one went hungry. Drinks weren’t strong but tasted great. We never got bored but were still able to have the most relaxing trip!!

We had a very good stay at Grand Palladium Select White Sand Resort.

The service was one of the best parts of our experience. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely tried to help. The shuttle drivers, waiters, restaurant staff, and housekeeping team all made us feel welcome.

A special thank you to Cielo and David, our concierges. They were always helpful with restaurant reservations, different questions during our stay, and also helped make our checkout much easier by arranging transportation to the checkout area in the morning.

The resort grounds are beautiful, with a lot of nature, many pools, and enough activities during the day and evening. The beach was also beautiful, with plenty of space to relax. The only downside was the sargassum, but we understand this is a natural seasonal issue and not something the hotel can fully control.

Our room was good overall, but a little outdated. However, housekeeping was excellent. The room was cleaned very well every day, towels were replaced, the bed was nicely made, and we received small surprises like sweets.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this resort, especially because of the service, beautiful grounds, and relaxing atmosphere.

Where do I begin!

From start to finish, the staff was kind, attentive, and accommodating. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and truly felt welcomed the entire stay. The food was outstanding — breakfast, lunch, and dinner at every location were consistently excellent. The restaurant variety was impressive and easily one of the highlights.

Housekeeping kept our room spotless and fully stocked daily. The property itself is beautiful, well maintained, and clean throughout. The pool area was spectacular (with poolside bars!), making it both relaxing and fun.

A special thank you to our concierge, Raul — he was exceptional. Extremely helpful, resourceful, and genuinely welcoming. He made a big difference in our experience.

The one major downside was the Travel Club staff. Although polite, the staff was persistent and pushy from the moment we arrived. We were pressured to attend a presentation and expected to make a financial decision on the spot without time to research or think it over. That felt uncomfortable and unnecessary during what should be a relaxing vacation.

The beach had noticeable seaweed, limiting swimmable areas, though there was a small usable section.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would return.

Our family had a wonderful time during our week long stay at White Sands. The property is beautiful and the two main pools are huge. We spent most of our time at the Colonial Pool which gave us easy access to breakfast and lunch buffets, the kids club, the kids pool and slides, a giant main pool, and the beach. We ate at several of the à la carte restaurants and had a great time at all of them, with Bahia e Brassa being our favourite. The most outstanding feature of our stay was the staff. At every turn they were kind, helpful and genuinely interested in making sure we had a good vacation. Raul O., the concierge, made our stay so memorable. He got us reservations at every restaurant we had hoped to try, he helped us anytime we had a question, he had helpful recommendations and even arranged a few surprises for our daughter (4 yo) that made her so happy!
Our room was kept incredibly clean by Eduardo; we so appreciated the daily service. The staff at the front desk were very kind, and also at all the buffets. We often ended the day with dessert and coffee at the buffets and were treated so well by Theresa at La Hacienda each night.
We would 100% return here as White Sands had everything we had hoped for our vacation!

The staff was great, but there was a minor communication issue. We and my friend both had the same problem with the door not opening. After calling the front desk, it took them an hour to respond. The property is quite far, so it’s not very accessible if you have a leg issue. I wouldn’t recommend it. However, it’s great for young couples or families with kids. The pools are really good, but you should avoid the beach during the seaweed season.

Raul Ocampo was my personal concierge from Expedia. He was extremely helpful in helping me plan my daughter’s bday, and anything I needed for my stay. He was helpful, kind and accommodating. The food at the hotel wasn’t good, it’s very bland except for a few restaurants. Customer service was top notch, my family and I got treated like royalty. The food is missing seasoning and the beach got taken over by seaweed.

If you are looking to go to the beach you can not! Lots of seaweed.,Cannot get in the water.
That’s what we go for is the beach and water.

Husband fell down dark stairway; sober, staff seemed unconcerned. Injured knee and limped the entire vacation.
Front desk called to arrange pick up with luggage on departure but did not show up. Almost missed our taxi to airport. Terrible stench from sargassum. Beach unusable.

EMPLOYEE STOLE WEDDING BAND!!! We arrived a day late due to travel delays so our room type was unavailable. We had to stay in a different room for night one. When we moved to our new room, I forgot my wedding band on the bathroom counter. Housekeeping was waiting outside the door when we left. I’m sure they thought we were checking out…getting on a plane, etc. When I called to report the ring a couple of hours later, I was told they didn’t have enough staff to help me right away. They confirmed no one was staying in our old room that night. I begged to be let in to the room to check for my ring and was told that wouldn’t be possible. I was assured someone would check. I had to follow up several times. Not once did someone reach out to me to follow up on my missing ring. I am 100% sure that it was stolen. On our checkout day I spoke with an employee named Raul who guaranteed me they would be working on it…that they had record of everyone who went in the room and they’d interview each person. He said he would personally follow up. We’ve been home for nearly two weeks and I have not heard from anyone. I have reached out twice with no response. I’m just sick about moving and disgusted at the lack of follow up/follow through by staff. I was so disheartened and felt like no one cared. I cried so much during my stay.
The property itself was nice. There could stand to be better signage but once you get the hang of it, getting around is ok.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our concierge support from Cielo and David was top notch! They were helpful with obtaining dinner reservations and made our son's birthday special by surprising him with treats and balloons in the room. Our kids also enjoyed daily visits with Kevin the resident cat!
The resort is beautiful and perfect for a nature lover. The beach was a disappointment due to the sargassum, but that is part of nature amd expected at this time of year.
Our only complaint is the dinner reservation system. Only a small window is provided to make them and we were faced with no availability or very late time slots which aren't ideal for children.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and look forward to bringing our family back again.

Overall, it was a nice resort with nice staff. Cons: Their salespeople hit you up right at the main desk trying to get you to go to a one hour timeshare pitch. They literally hunt you down. I paid our building butler/concierge $20 to have him get rid of them. Don't pay for ocean side. You might think that means you'll have a view of the ocean, but you won't. There is a significant growth of trees between the buildings and the ocean. All you will get for your trouble is the awful smell of rotting seaweed during the sargasso times. Even the top floors do not have a view over the trees.

The buffet was very repetitive and often cold or dry from being left out. Omelette bar, fresh fruit, French toast and tacos, we’re always good. I have a gluten allergy, and they were very accommodating with any of my requests. Booked restaurants were higher quality, with the Brazilian being our favourite. The coffee shop was one of our favourite features with hot and cold specialty drinks and desserts. Rooms were spacious and beautiful, but some updates needed. We had adjoining rooms with our children which elevated our overall experience. The sports complex was a highlight for our children (age 10-16). It had a wide variety of sports and activities. The spa was beautiful, clean and offered many services. Pool drink service was available, however only one server was working at a time, for the whole pool area, which made for slower service. The server however, was very friendly and hustled. The pool was spotless, people scrubbing it at dark and again first thing in the morning. The pool area was spacious and we never had to sit directly beside another family. The White Sands beach had an astonishing amount of seaweed. However, we could utilize the beach at the colonial. The beach chairs were spread apart, giving people space and breathing room. Servers were also at the beach, which elevated our experience. We didn’t attend any of the shows at the Kantenah, however our parents really enjoyed the Beatles cover band that played one evening. The grounds were mature and well kept.

We stayed in a junior suite at the White Sands in Mexico and had a fantastic experience. The resort offered a great mix of fun and relaxation — lively nightlife for the adults and plenty of activities to keep the kids happy. I highly recommend booking in the Family Section; the food options were noticeably better, and the beach area was cleaner and quieter compared to other parts of the resort. Perfect spot for both family time and some adult enjoyment!

Our room was decent size. Double beds are a little too small for a couple. Rooms are cleaned daily. We don’t always get our water restocked though. But we just get them from the bars.
I feel like the rooms and decor are a little dated but overall it’s still a pretty nice resort.
Our butler/ concierge Cielo and David from White sand are very helpful. They helped us with all our reservations and bookings and just everything.
The pools are nice and big and not crowded. We always managed to get lounge chairs by the pool.
Most staff are friendly and helpful. There are a few at the swim up bar who are not that friendly. I guess it’s because everyone is swimming and no one can carry any cash for tipping.
When we went in early March, the beach was full of seaweed. The staff is trying their best to clean it but it’s just too much.
The only thing I would not recommend is going to the “presentation” about their time share. Unless you’re prepared to spend $50k, I don’t recommend attending. And there’s this one guy at the presentation, after we said no, he got pissed and just got up and left. Seriously not cool.
Overall we had a great time and would recommend the resort to others.

Just returned from a heavenly week at Grand Palladium Select White Sand, nothing short of paradise. One of the most beautiful resorts we've been to, vast property with a ton of amenities and absolutely stunning grounds. We went with our 2 teen/young adult kids and they had a blast. The sports centre is amazing and, even after a week, we were discovering new areas of the resort. The food was the only let-down - loads of options and always fresh, but the caliber was mediocre. A shout out to our concierges, Cielo and David - they were friendly and helpful. All is all, a standout holiday and we will definitely go back.

Great resort! Our first time to Cancun and we loved it! Staff were wonderful and super friendly — everyone at the bars, restaurants, housekeeping, front desk! But we were lucky to have our personal concierges, Cielo and David, who helped us with anything we needed during our stay. From dinner reservations, booking shuttle rides, basic Q&A’s, etc., they were there for our every need!

The buffets were surprisingly great in quality, taste, and food options. We had higher expectations for the à la carte restaurants, but most of them were underwhelming. The best one we tried was definitely the Brazilian option — hands down the tastiest of all the ones we tried. The dinner service was slow in most of the restaurants, so expect this if you’re considering booking reservations.

Rooms were clean and were good sizes. Overall, our trip was great and would recommend this resort to everyone!

Our stay at the Palladium was great! We were well taken care of across the entire resort. The staff was always attentive, and respectful. With 2 kids, we stuck around the Colonial pool the most due to the access to the amenities they enjoyed the most. We also really appreciated having a personal concierge as part of our stay. It made it simple to book reservations, and communicate with our airport transportation.

Incredible week at White Sands resort! Service, food and activities were exceptional! Huge shout out to David, Cielo (personal concierge) and Kevin the cat at our villa for top line service! Also to his sister Kelly the cat on the way to the Colonial pool.
Fabiola and Angel at reception were very accommodating and attentive to our needs.
Best restaurants shouts outs to the Brazilian and the Argentinian.
Recommendations are the culinary activities and the tequila tasting! Damian for killing me (in a good way) at gravity abs and to Daniella for AquaGym, and Carlos for Margarita making!!
Also to all the cart drivers, ground keepers and POP entertainment staff who make this place beautiful and a wonderful experience. Overall an an amazing exceptional experience!!

Excellent stay and the service was exceptional! Our concierge team David and Cielo were amazing. They explained amenities, sent out daily activities, explained dining and helped set up dinner experiences. The lobby bar staff also went above and beyond! Roger, Marcos and the rest of the team were so much fun and made the best drinks. Andres at the coffee bar was pretty awesome! Rafael and Octavio at the front desks were so nice and always remembered us. The entire resort staff were all great! The amenities, activities, transportation of the resort were great! The resort was so clean and we were able to jump around to all 4! I would recommend staying here and we will for our future vacations to the Riviera Maya!

Ocean had too many rocks otherwise it’s not too deep and very calm, a lot of seaweed on some days. Restaurants booking restart on Sunday. We came on Tuesday and with Expedia VIP we could barely find a spot and times too early 6 pm or too late like 9 or 10pm. On Wednesday all was booked we ate in buffet it had very good food. We tried all restaurants without extra charge all were good. Some restaurants have extra charge and there are few restaurants that are adult only or for TRS adult only section and I heard the charge is less for paid restaurants if you stay in TRS. The only downside for TRS they don’t have beach it’s rocky there and salt pool that they have is very dirty. But you can go to family selection area which has the nicest beach if you have VIP pass you can go anywhere to eat and stay in all areas and all Expedia customers are VIP which is big bonus. Not all food is the same in all buffets some have something available that others don’t. Try all of them and go to the one you like most. It’s a big resort and you have to walk a lot to activities since their shuttle system is not so good. If you catch a shuttle it’s a bonus but expect to walk everywhere. Check their app for activities and it’s little tricky to find them so ask someone to show you. We loved riffle shooting, archery, art classes you need to book one day in advance and exercise classes. Free boat ride in their lake in white sand lobby. Free snorkeling paddle boards, boats, kayaks, but fishing extra fee.

Don’t come here if you are looking for convenience. Or if you are traveling with a baby/young toddler. Expect long waits for a highchair after you’ve been seated at the buffet… or one not to show up at all… which happened to us twice. Then when our little one came down with a stomach bug we tried ordering room service and were told they were going to charge us $15 for delivery. Never in my life of staying at a variety of all inclusives in mexico have I been asked to pay for a room service delivery. So with room service out (because to hell if you think I’m paying for delivery at an all inclusive) we were stuck with no options for food that night due to our little one being sick and the resort having no grab and go options. The only grab and go option the pizza place was closed and we were told we could not take back food from the buffet. We’ve never gone without food on a vacation before. We paid good money to stay here and couldn’t access food when we needed it. Again do not come here if you are looking for convenience or even your basic needs being met. The two evenings we visited the coffee shop the baristas there looked inconvenienced to be asked to make coffees and this was the theme through the resort. On the topic of food the food at the white sands buffet was so bad. I can’t believe how bad in comparison to Colonial buffet. The only saving grace was the service we received at the family selection private pool. There are fake reviews driving up rating. Don’t be fooled!

Good afternoon the room service was always nice and clean. The maintenance part is not good at all i called because my frige didn't work came but my drinks were never cold.

Food was good.
Reservation for Italiano was good but didn't have what we ask and we had a birthday and they put feliz Aniversario 👎

Brazilian Reservation was my bets expirins was good evening thing was grait serves.

The white sand lobby was the best experience we had they were all amazing but most of all Rager, Freddy, Marco, best esxrians was in the lobby amazing bar tenders.

We went to the coffee shop and Andres does the best coffee drinks we went in the morning and they were nasty.

Love the Grand Palladium but they really need to do something about the smell.. the lobby and surrounding areas has a bad sulphur smell and our room had a terrible musty smell (and I’m not sensitive to smells..). The food is great, service is wonderful and it’s beautiful! I liked booking here because we had access to all the other resorts as well, which was a bonus. White sands pool is better than colonial because colonial is way too deep!! Will definitely be going back, just hope they can fix the smell!

This experience was by far one of the best experiences my entire family have had. The service was fantastic, the facilities were clean, the food was delicious, and there were so many activities and things to do. I huge thank you to Alejandro at the reception desk who was a gem, to Jose and Joel who were magnificent at the Beach Bar, to Eduardo who was fantastic at the Snack Bar at Colonial, to Cecilia who was a wonderful waitress at the Hacienda PM buffet, to the chef extraordinaire David at Portofino who’s food was delicious, to Francisco and Jonathan who’s service at Portofino made us feel special, and to our wonderful concierge David and Rafael who were a power team always checking after us and giving us updates for our day….you all made this experience exceptional and one that I wish many other families would enjoy. I am Palladium loyal now for life. Thank you again for all that you did.

We had a wonderful stay, resort is maintained nicely staff was extremely helpful. Beach on the north end of the property is beautiful, a little rocky in front of white sands but short distance to the nice part. This is our 6th trip to Mexico and the value for this stay was great.
The food was pretty typical for a Mexico resort but still good, always plenty and good selection. Tacos were the best thing at lunch buffets. We eat at the Italian restaurant the Brazilian restaurant as reservations and they were both very good. I would highly recommend.
We stayed in building number 59 and our concierge. David was extremely helpful and polite.. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed.. He did a great job and made our stay even better.
Overall, I would recommend this resort to anybody for an all-inclusive trip to Mexico. It definitely exceeded my expectations.

Everything and Everyone was great.
Angel at the front desk upgraded our room free of charge.
The rooms are very modern and cleaned everyday. The AC is cold.
Rafael and David are great concierges. They helped us every day with dinner reservations,
Get a trolley for us to get around etc.
The food at every buffet was fresh and the restaurants were amazing.
The bars are everywhere. Cold beer or whatever you like.
I prefer the mango daiquiris. They are delicious.
All the pools were big and clean and refreshing.
The Infinity pool at the TRS resort is a must see.
The beach has a lot of rocks in the water so you need to walk a little bit to where it’s no rocks or coral.
Bring water shoes.
The entertainment was fun. It’s all on the app to see which of the 4 resorts to go to watch.
The resort ever did some special things for us since our anniversary was on Valentine’s Day.
I highly recommend this resort.
My wife wants to go back again right now.

Room was in good condition but ceiling started to leak mid stay. Staff fixed it quickly. Staff were great. Unfortunately dinner bookings were hard to get we only ended up at two restaurants our entire week stay. (One was not even a restaurant we wanted to eat at just the only option). The only way to book restaurants was to get up early and walk to lobby the app does not function at all so don’t bother downloading it. There was little to no night time activities at white sands the kids side at colonial had lots going on but all kid friendly but we ended up there most nights it was better than nothing.

We had a fantastic vacation. We had access to most of the property due to booking through Expedia. The beach at Kantenah was the best spot and Alejandro took care of us every day we went to the beach! The restaurants were great and the staff everywhere were all very kind and accommodating for all of our questions in concerns. The rooms were very clean and the maid service kept everything stocked for us everyday. We will definitely be back in the future and would recommend this resort.

All the staff was excellent, specially the kids club and family selection!
Also David and Cielo my concierges, both were always there for everything we needed and more…
Raul from the lobby, all the cart drivers (specially the lady I can’t recall the name) she was the best!
The boat driver was top notch, the same with waiters and cleaning crew (our chocolate fairy god mother), thanks to all, we will definitely return!

We stayed for the first time at the TRS Yucatan after upgrading from White Sands. The entire resort was absolutely beautiful. The staff were super friendly and kind and always there to help if you needed anything. The only slight negative was the steak at any of the restaurants including El Gaucho was really stringy and tough to chew even a New York strip. We did the bonfire dinner on the beach, which was an extra charge but absolutely worth it. A huge shout out to our butler Alexx he was super friendly and helpful with anything we needed.

The room was big and clean. The resort was massive and we got lost a lot, but we got our steps in. The drinks aren't very good, and the food was alright. There weren't many places to get beach towels or drop them off. Basically, the property is so big, it seemed like it provided cumbersome at times and there just weren't enough staff to cover everything. The pool area was a mess at the end of the day because there aren't enough places to drop towels, and there were messes guests made that staff didn't have the bandwidth to clean up. The resort itself was really beautiful and luxurious, and it was nice that the property included mangroves, so there was wildlife around. The staff were very lovely and kind.

This was by far my best hotel experience in Mexico! The grounds were well kept, our room was very clean, lots of available entertainment, delicious food, great activity crew making everything so fun and energetic (David, Daniel, Daniela). A huge shout out to Saul(Helios restaurant), Concierge staff (David and Cielo) for arranging pick-ups and reservations, Alejandro (Chic Cabaret) for his outstanding service and Wilma (nightly turn down housekeeper) for the little things she did to make our stay extra special.
