This hotel is rated 3 stars, I'll give it 2 stars just because of its location. If it wasn't for the location I would give it 1 star. The location is great! Beach is basically across the street, we didn't use the beach shuttle they provide because its walking distance. and theres a plaza in front of the hotel that has restaurants and shops. The free breakfast included is terrible!! Watery scrambled eggs, stale bread and croissants. The pool was nice and the pool furniture too, but the jacuzzi looks older than me. Our room was outdated and smelled like mold and damp. Within 3 days my throat hurt and i developed a cough. When I came home my doctor told me i had a respiratory infection. I asked her if it could be from the room? She said absolutely! I had to call the front desk to un clogged the sink, and fix the tv, none of them were working. Also, housekeeping took all our dirty towels but never replaced them, so we had to call to request towels. This is my 3rd time in Turks and Caicos but my 1st time staying at this resort and we will not be returning

We had a fantastic stay in Providenciales. The hotel room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, featuring a great shower and a cozy loveseat that made it easy to relax after a day out.

One of the highlights was the hotel’s amenities—complimentary chair and umbrella rentals made beach days effortless, and it was an easy walk to the beautiful Grace Bay Beach. For added convenience, the hotel also offered a shuttle service to the beach.

The pool bar was a fun spot to unwind, serving up excellent cocktails while streaming football games on NFL RedZone, which was a nice touch for sports fans.

Overall, a very enjoyable stay with a great mix of comfort, convenience, and amenities in a prime location.

Location wasn’t bad but the place need total renovation; need to be cleaned. Would not recommend to my worse enemy. Breakfast area didn’t look clean. The only time I allow them to clean my room ; they did give me enough towels; was out of toilet paper and didn’t get any. ; had to look for someone to get me some. Floor was left dirty.

no they did not leave enough towels for us. They left enough for 2 people and we were 3. When we called for additional towels they never brought them up. Also the room had no ventilation, there was no way for our wet clothes bathing suits to dry. It was really difficult. Lastly, they did not clean our room properly, the floors were sandy and dirty. The front desk was not very helpful with questions.

I was a bit worried about booking this hotel because it isn’t waterfront but it is very close to the beach and in a perfect location. I was also worried because other reviews mentioned unhelpful staff—everyone we dealt with was wonderful. It’s a great price for the area and we fully enjoyed our stay.

This was our 2nd time staying at Ports of Call. Pros and cons as follows: Pros first: Location excellent, room excellent, pool area wonderful, breakfast wonderful, Grace Bay beach outstanding. Cons at Ports of Call specifically that NEED to be addressed: front desk staff are the rudest we have ever encountered anywhere in the world and that was not case the last time we stayed here. They either ignore you completely or make you feel like you are bothering them to check in and again at check out, if you ask for assistance or a missing supply or advice or anytime you try to engage with them. They are the face of the resort and should not be in that position if they don't want to engage and communicate with guests. FIX this. Housekeeping was also a CONSTANT problem. There was not one day that we did not have to go find the cart down the hall to ask for missing basic supplies or have to call the front desk to have supplies sent up. And the missing supplies were basics like toilet paper, kleenex, everyday they took our bath mat away and did not leave a new one, no face cloths provided ever after day one and we had to ask everyday for a second hand towel or more than 2 bath towels, the body wash and shampoo etc were never resupplied after day one as well. This needs major improvements in the housekeeping dept. The shuttle that used to run all day back and forth to the beach was no where to be seen in 7 days. Drinks prices at the pool bar are outrageous as well.

The property is okay. There is no elevator, so for a person with disabilities it becomes a challenge. The water in the shower has pressure for about a minute and that is it. You also do not have hot water for more than one person to take a shower. The staff provides absolutely zero customer service. When you have an inquire you are made to feel like you’re bothering them.

This is a beautiful island with gorgeous beaches and wonderful eateries and restaurants. It’s a small community yet perfect for us.

Ports of Call is located very well in an area with plenty of dining, shopping and is reasonably priced for the area. The room was nice and clean, and the only issue we had was bad water pressure from the shower. After reporting this the showerhead was replaced within 2 days and it worked perfectly thereafter. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very simple, and the bar drinks were way overpriced, with way nicer options within a 3 minute walk. The pool is nice but we gravitated to the beautiful beaches instead. Beach chairs and umbrellas are free at the POC section of the beach but you have to get out there early or they all get taken. The beaches are the best I’ve seen anywhere!

The property was clean, but visible signs of wear and tear throughout the rooms. Could use a refresh. Staff was nice and helpful. It's very difficult to get one of their designated loungers on the beach in a good spot unless you go at the crack of dawn and wait. Great for a short stay.

I recently stayed at Ports of Call Resort in Turks and Caicos, and overall it was a fantastic experience—especially for the price point.

One of the biggest highlights was the location. The resort is just a short, easy walk to Grace Bay Beach, which is absolutely stunning. Having access to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world without paying direct beachfront prices was a huge plus.

The complimentary breakfast was another standout. It was convenient, well-stocked, and a great way to start each day before heading out to explore or relax by the water. It added real value to the stay and made mornings stress-free.

For the price, Ports of Call offers excellent value in Turks and Caicos. You get a clean, comfortable place to stay in a prime location, close to shops, restaurants, and the beach, without the high cost of the larger luxury resorts.

We really enjoyed the beach there and loved having chairs and umbrellas we could use. They also had volleyball, kayaks and paddle boards for guests. The hotel and pool are nice though really dated. Our room was missing a window screen and had a broken light, the AC didn’t work, and they had a water leak so shut off water one night. We liked the free breakfast and all day coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful. The welcome drinks, poolside bar, and pool table were a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again for the great location.

The room was clean. We had stayed here 2 years prior and were told that there were upgrades in the interim. We did not see them if they were there. The room was comfortable and clean

Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working the first night we were there. It is hot there with no air. At 7 am we alerted the front desk who told us the maintaince man would be in at 8 am. My displeasure comes more from my interaction with the manager rather than an appliance mishap. He basically told me it was out fault for not telling someone at 3 am. (this is a small hotel--only people there are 3 am are security and one front desk person) He claimed that they could ?? have fixed it. Or moved us to a different room. I replied that even under those circumstances , we would have been distubed. There was no mention of I am sorry or can we make it up to you. was disappointed at this response and it did ruin our first night. I have met the owner and he is a lovely gentleman. I think he should know that his staff needs better training on handling unfortunate situations.

Aside from that, Our only other issue was with the TV with routinely was not working. We did have maintenance come in and fix it several times.

Oh and a bathroom door lock needed to be adjusted to work properly but that was addressed quickly and fixed

Our first stay was great. After the second, not so sure I will be back.

Maintenance of rooms was poor. First room ac was loud and the refrigerator was inoperable however the replaced right away. We “upgraded” to veranda room for two nights and the tv had two lines down the tv due to a pixel issue and there was construction across the hall. They removed the upgrade fee but did not replace the television. Staff at front desk, gentleman was terrific, and check in but person we shared feedback about second room was not nice at all. Breakfast was inconsistent. Some days good, some not. Who wants hot hard boiled eggs for breakfast?

The furniture including the new pieces is showing wear and tear. The tv is very clear but hard to use. the in room router was only intermittently working. the eater pressure was usually very low. for two days, we had no water in the afternoon due to emergency repairs. it would have been nice to have been told what was going on and gotten updates. also there was construction which we were not told of in advance. there were red spots on the mirror and ceiling in the bathroom which i had to ask to have cleaned. some remained in the entry ceiling. the location is very good and the included breakfast is adequate. The manager was not at all responsive to concerns. i just checked prior reviews and he only responds to the positive ones

The great thing about this resort is the location and the price. Short walk to the IGA supermarket with big selection of items, coffee and alcohol. Pharmacy right next door. Pizza/Italian restaurant so good, friendly and delicious food. Grace Bay short walk or you can ask for a shuttle that is sometimes available. You need to ask for it. It does not come on the hour as advertised.
The rooms are clean and cleaning staff is awesome.
The pool is clean and was never crowded on my time visiting.
The not so great was the price of groceries and restaurants. Very high. By the end of our 14 day stay we had a good rhythm and knew where to eat. It's a small island and everything is pricey.
Taxi service is readily available.
We enjoyed several trips including half day Anita's Iguana Island, sunset cruise- over land not sea and glass bottom boat kayaking- wear water shoes because you will step on jelly fish. Also saw 12 turtles.
The breakfast offered at the resort is very basic but we made the best of that.
All in all a relaxing trip.

The Beach: It’s a very easy, flat 4-minute walk to their private, designated section of Grace Bay Beach. They provide a complimentary golf cart shuttle if you have heavy gear, but the walk is so short you likely won't need it. Once there, you get free use of umbrellas, loungers, and even paddleboards/kayaks.
Daily Essentials: You are just a 3-minute stroll from Graceway Gourmet, the island's premier upscale grocery store. This is a lifesaver for grabbing snacks, pre-made deli meals, or a bottle of wine to enjoy on your balcony.

Beach chair saved early morning by some guests but not occupied until afternoon causing much difficulty in finding lounge chairs for us ordinary people. Not impressed by the pool bar. They would NOT extend check out for even one hours despite us spending almost $5k for our 7 day stay. It was all “okay” but could have been better.

This was affordable option during holidays when everything else was so expensive. Walk to the beach was about 5 minutes through safe street. Kids like to go back and forth from pool to beach so that wasn't option. Staff was very friendly. The food quality in breakfast buffet was more like a 2 star hotel buffet.

Staff was all very friendly and accommodating, the room was decent and met our needs, could use some deep cleaning and some upgrades. For the price it was worth it compared to the majority of resorts on the island.

Can’t beat the location, right in the center of downtown Grace Bay Area. Quick walk to the beach or they have a golf cart shuttle available to drive you to and from. Beach/pool towels available to take with you, free use of resort chairs and umbrellas on the beach at no additional fee.

Breakfast is included, but it did not meet our needs so we ate elsewhere - some days hot food was offered but most days it was boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, and bagels/pastries. Plenty of good cafe and restaurant options nearby to choose from, and a grocery store across the street - just be sure to check if your room has a full kitchen or just a mini fridge.

I’d definitely stay here again for the price and convenience alone.

POC was a good value, beautiful property, and has all the basics for an enjoyable vacation. We loved the hearty breakfast they offered. Tea and fresh water available all day. Great dining options within short walking distance. So glad we did not do all-inclusive because this was such a great deal and there were excellent food choices everywhere.

The staff members were very friendly and helpful. Their attitude made our stay very pleasant. The hotel itself is clean and a close walk to the beach. We were glad that they provided us with towels, chairs, and an umbrella for the beach. The breakfast provided had a good variety and we liked that they provided ice water, hot water, and coffee all day. The hotel is close to a little shopping plaza which was very convenient for getting food throughout the day. Very nice place for families–especially ones with older kids. The only issue we had was with the shower temperature. The first day of our stay the water in our shower was very cold but the rest of the week it was burning hot. It was hard to find a balanced temperature. Overall we had a great stay here!

Five minute walk to the beach. Multiple cuisines within the same 5 minutes walking distance. Very nice rooms. Wish they had a microwave, but the small fridge was very cold. Rain style shower head was a bit of a luxury I wasn’t expecting. Bravo! I must check out the pool next time.
