The hotel is located on Conchas Chinas beach, only roughly 15 minutes from Eden. It is only 3 minutes to Puerto Vallarta town centre and 20 minutes to the international airport.

The hotel was built in 1980 and fully renovated in 2000. There are 20 comfortable rooms on offer with typical Mexican decoration, facing the Conchas China beach and nestled in exotic, green vegetation.

Facilities on offer include a lobby area with a reception desk manned around the clock and a hotel safe for depositing guests' valuables. The El Set restaurant offers a view of the beach and there is also the La Playita restaurant and a bar to choose from.

The hotel's facilities include, moreover, a terrace, WLAN, palapas, medical assistance, room and laundry services and parking. All rooms come with 2 double beds or a king-size bed and a balcony from which guests may enjoy a view of the sea.

Additionally, individually adjustable air conditioning, satellite/ cable TV, a fan, a telephone, a hire safe and a smoke alarm are provided in all accommodation as standard. A kitchenette with an oven, a fridge, cutlery, crockery and a coffee machine allow for independent self-catering and an extra children's bed or extra bed is available on request.

All rooms feature a fully fitted en suite bathroom with a shower and a bath tub (some rooms have a hot tub). In the outdoor complex there is a swimming pool with a separate children's pool.

There is a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use and massage treatments on offer. Various water sports are on offer on the beach (e.

g. diving).

Breakfast is offered every morning. Lunch and dinner can be taken à la carte.

We had a wonderful short stay at the Belmond Maroma to celebrate our engagement. The staff and their service were top notch. In particular, Emanuel took great care of us.

The spa was wonderful for both treatments and some time in the hot/cold plunges, steam and sauna. The restaurants were picturesque right on the beach - we particularly liked breakfast with the fresh juices of the day and daily changed pastries. The gym setup is excellent and the daily complimentary activities rounded out our stay.

From the arrival welcome ritual to the departure treats, the staff was unbelievably hospitable. They even made us custom hats that said fiance/fiancee!

We will definitely be back.

There are no other words other than Maroma is magical. Pictures don't fully capture its essence; it's felt the moment you arrive. The care and attention to detail for each guest is truly remarkable, and deeply genuine. My stay was unlike anything I have ever experienced in the best way possible. Every person who works here is so kind and helpful. Nestled between the jungle and ocean, it is such a reprieve from everyday life. The amenities are luxurious, and it is such a relaxing and peaceful environment. I will be back and recommend anyone to book a stay. It's well worth it.

This was my third visit to the Maroma and I know I'll be back again soon. Everyone works hard to make it as beautiful as it always is. My favorite thing? Seeing the sunrise over the beach. The jungle view from our terrace. Another favorite? A big dish of guacamole sitting at the bar in the late afternoon. Least favorite thing? Several loud children playing in the pool late at night. (This was never a problem during previous stays) An adults-only policy would be welcome. Thank you to everyone!

Belmont Maroma is amazing! I have already looked into going back and we haven’t even left here. The food was fantastic which is always a big concern for me when traveling to Mexico as I’ve had bad experiences at an all inclusive resort in Mexico before. The food at Belmont was fantastic! Overall we had a blast and can’t wait to return.

We had an excellent stay except for the air conditioning of our room, apparently the A/C units are old or stressed out because of climate and on our second night ours broke, but the staff was very helpful they moved us to a neighboring room for the night sleep while their staff work on the AC units, and by the morning it was fixed. Staff was nice enough to send us an apology letter with a small gift for the inconvenience. Other than that the hotel and its staff is wonderful, the quiet and beautiful location combine wonderfully with all the hotel facilities. Their spa treatments are always great, plus the restaurants give you excellent choices, and the highlight is Freddy's bar in front of the beach.

Beautiful property. The Belmond Maroma is a small hotel set in a lush tropical garden along the beach. The common areas are gorgeous and the rooms are private and quiet. There are several serene pools and great seating & umbrellas on the beach. The staff are wonderful - friendly and helpful. The breakfast is divine and dinners excellent. The only downside is the seaweed on the beach which is an issue all along the Yucatan coast. The hotel rakes the beach clean each morning.

Second Honeymoon

I have stayed at nice hotels before, but the Belmond Maroma really was heads and shoulders above the rest. Everyone on the staff was truly amazing. From the beach waiters to bartenders to the desk service, recreation services, the hotel really sets a standard for great customer service. I can't say enough good about the place. There was nothing about the place that was not excellent.

Amazing Property on Spectacular Beach

Location is perfect, on an undeveloped stretch of Maroma Beach, spared from development overtaking the rest of the coast. Elegant and low key, the rooms are lovely, the staff genuinely friendly and attentive, and the breakfast is amazing. Our second stay, I highly recommend. The only quibble I had was that the kitchen could up it's game at dinnner, some dishes were perfect (scallop cerviche for examaple) while other dishes were pedestrian. Overall I think Belmond Maroma is the finest property on the Mayan Riviera.

The hotel and its amenities are excellent. Service is impecable and the people sorking there are the kindest.
If you're looking for a classy hotel far from the hussle and noise, this place is the best. The two rests are so nice, the beach is beautiful, spa is amazing.

Boutique Hotel on Moroma Beach

This Hotel is built into the landscape of the Yucatan. It was a prior private residence and still very much has that ambiance. The architecture truly melts into the landscape. The structures are built of slate, natural rock, native wood and glass. The main bar is right on the beach as well as the outdoor dining area. There are three swimming pools and gorgeous fountains all around the spa.They are extremely conscientious about being green even going so far as to introduce their wooden room keys in the future. They serve everything at the bar from glass bottles and even give you the option to opt out of using plastic straws. I cannot say enough about the staff. Everyone was so warm and willing to do anything to make your stay more comfortable. The food was equally fantastic!

A Truly Elegant Resort

In April, my husband and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Belmond Maroma. From the moment of our arrival, this resort anticipated and fulfilled our every need and more. From the welcoming margaritas on arrival to offering me a hair tie from a beautiful wooden box at dinner on a windy evening, the staff could not have made us feel more special. Excellent Boutique Hotel

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Belmond Maroma. We wanted a small luxury boutique hotel and that is what we found at Belmond Maroma. The staff was excellent. The setting is very romantic. You enter from a very obscure driveway (contrast this with the signs at the mega-resorts and the wide roads and you will know what I mean) and you drive down a long narrow road through the jungle to a rustic stone entryway that is from another time. The staff was attentive, but not intrusive. The food was excellent and the bar was fantastic.

Absolute paradise

If I could give this hotel 6 stars in every category, I would! We spent 7 days at this property, and every day was perfect! Service was top notch - friendly, professional, knowledgeable, accommodating. The beach was absolutely amazing. The food was tasty. Treatments at the spa were relaxing and extremely good. The hotel was quiet, an absolute getaway. We will be back!

Nice and quiet, right on the beach.

Very pleasant hotel, right on the beach. We could not swim in the ocean that much, due to algae proliferation, but had a good time anyway. The pools are very attractive, 20+ meters long for swimming, and an excellent purification system with no chlorine taste.

The restaurants could be improved, given the somewhat isolated location, with daily grilled fish or specials. The menu gets repetitive after a few evenings.

I thought that the price point was high given the overall comfort and amenities.

Amazing place and fantastic service

The beach is beautiful. The rooms are great. The food is amazing. The staff do a great job of learning your name and being very helpful. It can get expensive, but you get what you pay for (in a good way). I'd love to come back.
