The room was in good condition. However a few things to note- the bedroom and bathroom are seperate rooms but they are divided by a large opening with stained glass- not a solid wall. You can see the bed when on the toilet!! Also the room is not sound proof and you can hear a beeping sound from the door buzzer which is often. The rooms do have an amazing view. THere is no mini fridge and they charge extra for a cooler with ice if you want to keep your drinks cold. They said they do this to make extra money!!! Also it comes with 2 nespresso pods and they charge extra for any extra. You can ask for cream at the kitchen.

Thehad no fridges in the room and wanted 200 pesos for a cooler with some ice.There was no water to drink and the employee told me that they wanted to charge for everything. We werethe only couple for breakfast and it took almost an hour

This was an outstanding stay. The staff went above and beyond every chance they had the properties, beautiful, quiet, and well appointed they had some of the best food of any of the restaurants we ate in and normally we regretted going down into the town to get charged much more with less service and quality of food the only issue with this place is that was deferred maintenance in some of the rooms. For example, the handheld shower holder was broken in my room. One of the lights was flickering near the doorway and the bathtub plug didn't work so I couldn't take a bath also, the first two days the phone in the room did not work. Also, it's a bit tricky. You cannot leave the property unless they let you out so we waited a bit hoping they would open the door, but I'd rather have this and have excellent security Omar and Pasquale were just wonderful no detail went unattended to for example I lost my embroidery needle and the hotel manager herself gave me a new embroidery needle within five minutes of me inquiring. Also, I was traveling with Family and one of my family members lost a dear item at a nearby restaurant. The hotel contacted the restaurant and then personally went to go retrieve the item that was lost.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Villa Divina. The whole staff made us feel special and welcomed. They show care from the first interaction I had with them. Lupita helped us organize our anniversary dinner, select our room, transportation from the airport, etc. She was very professional and always willing to help. On our arrival Pascual and Juan welcomed us with beverages and delicious food, very friendly and attentive, they made sure we had everything we need it through out our stay, when we went to our room we were surprised to find the room decorated with happy anniversary balloons, a bouquet of roses and petals from the door to the bed. Just like you see in movies, thank you Isabel for making sure everything was perfect in our room. Omar treated us during the day with excellent service. We only interacted once with Elisa on our last day. She made us brunch, the perfect send off. I would like to thank the whole staff, we only met six of them, I was told there are nine staff members. I wish I asked the names of the remaining three members. This is very special place, they people there make special. We will definitely visit them again. We had an unforgettable anniversary. Pascal and Juan, thank you for the fireworks!!!

I planned this getaway for a birthday celebration for two based on the excellent reviews. Unfortunately villa divina did not live up to it. Im extremely upset because i thought the staff would be attentive and top notch. We ended up in a tourist trap. The location and surroundings are run down. You ring the call button and wait for entry. We were greeted by Omar he proceeds to inform us of the resort fee and 100 dollar incidental fee per night. He says im upgrading your room. We dont know why but we're going with it. Well its down at least five flights. The room was not impressive or like the pictures. I barely slept because of a smell, ants on the bed and geckos on my toiletries. We attempted contact noone answered. The next morning ants were in my snacks and luggage. We complained only for Lupita to tells us we're in the jungle and never apologize. We change rooms which was somewhat better. Only to discover ants inside the glass on the desk which got in my freakin luggage again. We brought up our concern to Omar response i have a life. We felt ignored and i dont know why we paid over 300 a night. They pushed for the restaurant only for us to sit there and wait while they look at us. Pasqual was the best with room service but our tray was left in the room with ants all night. Lupita (manager)never introduced herself or ask was everything ok with your stay. Note youre locked in the building only staff can let you in or out!!! Never again! Avoid this place!!!

My stay at Villa Divina was awesome. The staff was extremely accommodating, offering everything they could to make you comfortable. I would name them all, but you should just go meet them yourselves. The food was amazing, and with the limited number of rooms it felt like having your own personal chef. They also bill everything to your room so you are not constantly pulling out your wallet which was nice. The view on the hillside was great, but it was definitely a workout to walk up to. Theres a ton of taxi's and ubers to use at a very reasonable price, so this was not an issue. I would definitely stay here again, and i recommend one of the rooms with your own hot tub. Theres nothing like relaxing in it until 3am while sipping on tequilla.

My girlfriend and I stayed here recently for a night and had the experience of a life time. From being greeted with fresh mango margaritas the staff was very friendly every single member of that team was fantastic. I could not recommended this experience more especially to couples trying to spend their time in PV enjoying the beautiful views food and of course the beautiful people there. From the fantastic massages we had to the breath taking views . Only a 5-10 min drive to Malecón as well. Love this place and looking forward to staying here next time. LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel

This boutique hotel high up on the hill in the Conchas Chinas neighbourhood of PV is probably the nicest place we have ever stayed in. What a treat to have a spacious beautiful room, unbeatable views, attentive and personal service, great food and drinks. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute of it. We can't speak highly enough of Carmen, Pascual, Omar and the rest of the team. The walk down the hill to the gorgeous beaches just south of the main beach at PV is well worth it. The walk back up is not for everyone, although it is good exercise. Ubers are prompt, taxis are plentiful, so trips into the vibrant town and nightlight of the zone romanitca are easy and cheap. It is hard to find a fault at with this hotel - the elevator to the upper floors and strong wifi are also worth mentioning.

Small boutique hotel. Spotless, new, fresh decor with notable paintings. Comfortable beds and pillows. Infinity pool area small but beautiful. Did not use gym. Amazing view of the ocean. Small attentive staff.
You can eat meals by the pool off the menu and food is good. Only 1-2 groups eating at a time. Mostly couples.
Easy to drive/uber to Boca de Tomatlan to get a water taxi to go up the coast, or to go anywhere in PV. Would stay again.

Good quality was not 5 star. Would request a duffer t room next time (ours was “underneath”). Staff awesome, facility lovely. Only true complaint is that it’s very “intimate quarters” like you’re in someone’s home.
When staff eats lunch every day, which is totally fins, it becomes very loud & distracting at pool. Due to small area, lunch for staff might be relocated. Otherwise, great!

The most amazing villa in PV! 10/10 recommend booking the penthouse. The views & private heated pool in between the rooms were like no other villa. The property is situated in a beautiful lush and secluded area of Puerto Vallarta within a short car ride from downtown including the Romantic zone. The views are spectacular and the food and drinks amazing. It was like having a private chef and concierge. The property is fantastic for couples. Rooms are great, service is fantastic, the view is beautiful. Only downsides: you need a car to move around, the area is very quiet and safe, but not walkable. The only option for eating is inside the hotel, food is good but found it a bit pricey for the options. Overall, an amazing option, just be sure to bring a car or be prepared to move by taxi.

This place is absolutely gorgeous!! I looks exactly like the photos. Carmen was AMAZING! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable and like we were more than just guest. The food at the restaurant in the hotel was excellent and the staff was wonderful! The pool, the views, everything was just superb. Carmen, Pasqual and team were a pleasure to work with! They made every component of my stay amazing and were there to help with every detail. The team of chefs did an awesome job of showing me a taste of Puerto Vallarta. The villa is beautiful!!!! I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious and well laid out the penthouse was. The view is amazing. It is so quiet with birds, whales, iguanas, etc. Food is fantastic. Room was so large and comfortable. The best part is the staff. I have traveled all over the world and this small group of people were so friendly and helpful. Pasqual sang a lovely song on my birthday. Carmen was so warm but professional. Oscar was great at breakfast. Would definitely recommend this spot to friends and family.

Amazing Hotel - Best in PV

Beat hotel in PV! So beautiful, peaceful, charming, clean and spacious. The bed and room was super comfortable. Nice shower pressure. Views to die for. I didn’t want to leave. Staff were amazing, especially Carmen, Pascual, Agustín and Ricardo. The food was delicious and I loved the hot tub. I feel very safe, relaxed, comfortable and welcomed there. The Villa Divina is a beautiful hotel with breathtaking views. The food was superb. What made the experience most enjoyable though was the staff. Denise, Carmen, Miguel, Pasqual and Ricardo went out of their way to make our visit so enjoyable. It was my partner’s birthday the day we arrived and Denise and Pasqual arranged for chocolate birthday tortillas!! Pasqual sang a beautiful birthday song! I can’t say enough about them all! This property is just incredible. We travel a lot, but this was the most amazing boutique hotel we've ever stayed in. The pictures are exactly what you get! Beautiful, luxurious, and intimate. The rooms are magnificent(!) BIG and super comfy. Well maintained, and clean.
The staff is so nice and every request we had they fulfilled for us. They offer a full service all day. Food, drinks, and special requests.
I contacted Carmen, the property manager who helped us with transportation, recommendations, and reservations. She was there for us 24/7. super friendly professional and always with a big smile. She even invited us to her house (we were a bit concerned with the weather) - luckily the storm skipped PV and we all stayed dry and safe. Can't thank her enough for the experience she provided for us.

We'll be back for sure!

An Extraordinary Experience

This was undoubtedly the best resort hotel stay we’ve ever experienced! The room and patio were amazing with ocean views, a large spa pool and a relaxin daybed where you could listen to the birds or watch the iguana in the tree. It doesn’t get better than that! We started every morning having breakfast by the pool and every afternoon enjoying mango and passion fruit Margaritas! Carmen, Ruben and Pascal couldn’t do enough for us and took care of all the logistics. They made our visit unforgettable! The total experience was more like staying in someone’s beautiful private home than staying in a hotel. It’s a one of a kind place… We can’t wait to go back!!!

From the moment we arrived, Carmen, Rueben and the rest of the staff treated us as family. Whatever I needed, they responded quickly. We felt as though we had our very own private Villa. Located in the prestigious Concha Chinas area, the view is spectacular and is a short walk or cab down the mountain to the Romantica area. The villa is beautiful with a panoramic view of the pacific. The beds were comfortable, the room spacious, Roman showers and a huge bathroom with all the amenities. The infinity pool and hot tub were amazing. We will never stay anywhere else in Puerto Vallarta. From the outstanding chef inspired food creations to the over and the top service, we absolutely loved villa Divina and the people that made our stay and trip so special. ❤️

Stunning Venue!

Villa Davina soared above any expectations we had. The staff were absolutely incredible and they made our stay an absolute delight. From the amazing service poolside, the friendly smiles throughout the day, the eagerness to answer any questions we had to the curated meals made especially for us, we couldn't have asked for better. The facility was impeccably clean, the housekeeping staff went above and beyond to keep our homebase feel like home. They also dealt with the beach we managed to drag in on a few occasions:) If you are looking for the ultimate VIP experience where you feel like you pretty much have a villa to yourselves and staff to tend to your every need, this is the place! There is also a stunning public beach just down the road, but the hill is not for the faint of heart and it will definitely rase your heart rate. The thing is, there is a cold beverage, tast treats and a gorgeous pool to take a dip in once you reach the top. There are also plenty of cabs and uber rides if you might not be feeling the climb. Stay here, you wont be disappointed, we will definitely be back, and we are bringing friends.

Perfection at its best

Villa Divina was the perfect location, its beautiful and clean with breath taking views from our room or the pool location. It was simply the best place to wind down and relax like never before. It felt like the perfect dream. The entire Villa and our room were much more than we expected. I also need to thank the wonderful staff onsite that simply complimented our dream vacation. A very special thank you, to Carmen, Pascual, Miguel, Juan and the rest of the staff for your wonderful attention we received. I also need to mention the food prepared by the onsite Cheffs was wonderful no need to leave the Villa for that. Villa Divina’s property is beautiful. The views from the hotel was absolutely breathtaking. This is our second stay at this property and the staff is always welcoming and accommodating. Carmen went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. It was my birthday and they even surprised me with a cake. The food was also really good but a little pricey compared to some of the other restaurants in the Romantic zone. I especially enjoyed the homemade guacamole. We will definitely stay there the next time we come to PV. We love this hotel!
