Staff was great the rooms need some upgrading , had an issue with the ac in the room with a dirty vent filter. Got moved to another room that had a broken balcony table. The best they did was give me $400.00 pesos for the issues.

The staff were excellent, dealt with any request perfectly. The hotel room was nice and the hotel itself was in a very good location. Needs a few more sunbeds as there is only 4 per pool - wasn't too bad in February but would be a nightmare in peak season. Additionally the room has a very large flat screen tv which is great, but it doesn't have access to Netflix, Prime etc. only a few Spanish tv channels. Could do with updating that in 2026!

I enjoyed having my room clean everyday. The location is great, you can walk to the main attractions. The staff is friendly. The only downside was that I booked for a king size bed but unfortunately there were not availability when we arrived. That was a bummer because we had to sleep on a full size for the rest of our trip.

The room was okay.

I recommend that this hotel be avoided at all costs if you want to be able to go to sleep before 1:30 am. The very loud music from adjacent entertainment venues starts at 9pm finishing at 2am and is unbearable even with good quality earplugs and noise cancelling headphones.

I rate the hotel as minus 10! - avoid at all costs.

The location was perfect - just a block off 5th Ave shopping and restaurants. Our room was very clean and quiet. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooftop pools and bar were fun, but if you are looking for a poolside vacation, there were only 5-6 pool chairs so it was difficult to snag one. We stayed for 5 days and would definitely stay here again.

Great location just one block from La Quinta Avenida. Professional staff, clean room.

They were having issues with the cable/internet provider, we were not able to watch TV, Netflix or any other app on the smart tv, nor were we able to mirror from my mobile device.

They need to do some maintenance on the frameless glass shower door hinges, the glass door was dragging on the floor, it needs adjustment to prevent glass from shattering. (Safety concerns)

Other than that, everything else was good.

All the staff were really good. It was a stone's throw to lots of great restaurants, shopping and the beach. It has a nice shaded area between the two rooftop pools. We ate breakfast at the buffet, there was a lot of selection and everything was fresh. Will definitely go back to this hotel.

The rooms balcony and bathroom were old and not cleaned property. They still looked dirty after being cleaned which means it’s time to upgrade. The bed also needed upgrading. I will not stay here again. I’ve stayed at other hotels nearby and they are much better.

I liked location close to Quinta Ave. I didn't enjoy their buffet presentation made food look old and unappetizing. Customer service was not the best .. because we were VIP no one said anything about the drinks or room upgrade. Omg!! The bathroom strangest layout the sink was in the middle no privacy to wash hands or brush teeth.

Have stayed at the Fiesta Inn before. It’s a great value and in a good location accessible to everything you need. The property is showing its age a bit, but there’s lots of housekeeping staff that all work hard to keep the place clean and comfortable. The pool area on the rooftop is comfortable for enjoying some food and drinks and the pool is decent and clean to enjoy a swim. It’s not too busy there so no problem to get a lounge chair, though there’s no umbrellas, so watch out for the sun because it will get you. The front desk, F&B staff and bellman are always so helpful and friendly. Shoutout to my man, Javier, who’s always so kind, helpful and just a great person. I’ve stayed at more expensive hotels there, but imo, I get everything I need from Fiesta Inn for a lot less money and have a perfectly comfortable stay with a good shower and good night’s rest.

In general, an excellent option for exploring Playa del Carmen. Good, clean rooms. Just a few critiques that detracted from what was overall very good experience. The sliding door in the room didn't lock properly and the safebox malfunctioned during our stay. In addition, it was a challenge to get towels and an umbrella at the pool.

Near the beach as well and many restaurants by walking distance.

Front room with balcony can be a little bit noisy at night depending of what ambiance you are looking for.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. From the start, the room smelled of mold, the shower had almost no water pressure, and on the second night, there was no hot water at all. The hotel staff had no solution for us, and we had to shower in freezing water. we found that the food quality was very poor. I would not recommend this hotel, and we will not return. There are plenty of other places with much better service and maintenance standards!

El personal del hotel no tenía ninguna solución para nosotros, y tuvimos que ducharnos con agua helada. Después de exigir una compensación o reembolso, nos ofrecieron un desayuno gratuito, pero incluso ahí descubrimos que la calidad de la comida era muy baja. No lo recomiendo y no volveremos. ¡Hay muchos otros lugares con estándares de servicio y mantenimiento mucho más altos!

I liked the location. It was one block away from 5a avenida. Everything was walking distance.
The hotel was clean. The pool on the roof top was nice.
I did notice the waiting room was hot. It felt like thay didn't have the AC on. They had fans next to the front check-in desk for the poor employees. When got the room it was also hot. The AC was off, and it kept turning off. There was a sewer smell in the rooms. Other than that it was ok.

I loved almost everything about the hotel, close to 5th Avenue, ATM downstairs along with 2 convenience stores and 3 restaurants, 2 pools and a great fitness center.

However there's potential for improvement. Towels weren't always available at the club upstairs, Friday night the neighborhood music was extremely loud (not in hotel's control). A final comment - I noticed some water leakage around the toilet cistern on the floor on the last day, I was leaving so didn't complain but I wonder if there's a plumbing issue which would be a serious thing.

Terrible experience. Extremely noisy area with bars blasting loud music every night, ear plugs required to sleep. Water faucet broke, closet door broke and AC broke on the final night. Hotel staff very unhelpful saying that the ac was down in the entire hotel and couldn't give me a new room, when the lobby had AC. Finally they did give me a new room which shows they were lying and simply didn't want to change rooms.
