My husband and I had a wonderful weekend. The room was spotless, grat location and beautiful gardens that go up to the rooftop. We stayed in the Master room with a jacuzzi and it was quite and private. The staff was courteous and very helpful from the beginning of our booking to the time of checkout. Saul defenetly make our stay feel like home. He answer all our questions and helped us with recomendations for entrainment and diner, he also help us arrange transportation that was on time and safe. Thank you Saul for your welcoming. We absolutely recomend this place to say.

A quiet, leafy, hidden gem. I don’t always review (share) my special discoveries, but I must for this one. Many properties on the main drag are great until the thumping discos and live music nearby rob light sleepers of rest. In this peaceful place I’ve never had a restless night, a dirty room, met grumpy staff. Since my discovery 3 years ago, I’ve never even considered staying anywhere else.

A hidden and reasonably priced gem. You have to be paying attention to see its entrance. Staff always friendly. Desk manager Maria is always professional and welcoming. The Lobby is cool, peaceful and leafy. Nights are very quiet despite being roughly midway on the walking street. For what I paid I absolutely expected much less. The staff was serviced based and very helpful. My room was kept extremely clean. I wasn't expecting the Ritz Carlton at the rate I paid with whom I work with I was just expecting a good place to stay that was clean and convenient. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the property for being an older hotel and the service was excellent. I will be staying there again soon. My office is just down the street and when I come back for a visit I now have a very inexpensive place to stay.

This is a good hotel on 5th avenue. If you want to see everything on 5th ave, be prepared to walk! It was not that noisy at night to where I couldn't sleep. We stayed here to do nearby excursions so we basically only slept. The hotel is small but good enough for what we needed it for. The receptionist was VERY helpful, I wish I got her name but she was probably around 40-50 years old, slim with glasses. She helped us with pricing of tours & directions on how to avoid the super expensive taxis they offer nearby. The breakfast was basic but they offer a discount if you get other items. Please note the breakfast is not onsite, its a couple steps from the hotel - not a long walk! Overall it was good for the price we paid for 3 rooms.

A couple of small silly issues. The rooms don't have an iron and & ironing board, you have to ado for one from the front desk, which only has the iron, no board. And in the guest agreement, for \"security\", you aren't allowed to have guests. This is Cancun.

I booked this hotel suite for 5 nights & believe me, I got what I paid for.. the room was big but shower water pressure was horrible, both ceiling fans didn’t work, old TV & the bed was very firm. We also had a stack of mattresses outside our door the whole time. Noise outside of our room from the housekeepers talking loud in the morning. Continental breakfast consisted of just coffee, yogurt, fruit & bread anything else you had to pay extra at the restaurant outside of the hotel. There was no pool or jacuzzi at the hotel but it was on the main strip close to everything which was convenient but got boring quick, so I booked a hotel at another hotel nearby that was all inclusive & adults only so we could at least have a good time & I can have a nice shower. The staff didn’t seem to care, especially Ana. Maintenance tried to fix the shower head to get more pressure & sinks but the fans needed to be replaced. I was more disappointed about the shower pressure & fans to circulate the AC since the AC unit was on the other side of the room. Will not recommend this place.

Loved staying here! Right on 5th Avenue in the heart of Playa. Not on the beach but there are lots of places to get to the beach in minutes. The room was spotless and lovely. Bed was so comfortable. Sheets and comforter were the softest I’ve ever felt! We could hear a little of the street noise in the late evening but it shuts down and the hotel itself was very quiet. Front desk staff lovely and helpful. Thanks especially to Maria! Breakfast continental was included at the Italian restaurant on the corner which was good and convenient. Great if you want a quiet oasis after a day of fun in Playa!

loved this hotel! we got the suite with private balcony and jet tub.. it was so nice! the lobby was beautiful and the staff was super nice and accommodating. only thing I didnt care for, was the bed was not soft, but I sill got good sleep. the hotel is situated right on La Quinta Avenida, so there are alot of options for food and the area felt safe and all the people around are helpful if you need anything.

The hotel was in the middle of 5th ave which is like Main street. You will have loud music until 2 am, but the windows drowned out most of it when they are closed. The rooms were cute, and the hotel had a nice atmosphere. The only down side is that the electricity only works when your key is in the room, which is an awesome idea. However, when you leave food in the fridge and then go out for the day you will come back to rotten food bc the electricity goes off when you take the key with you haha. front desk was kind and helpful, there are no phones in the rooms, but we asked if they could come knock on our door if we weren't out at 4 am, they were kind enough to agree. The final walk through was easy they just check to make sure you didn't damage anything. Beds are old and firm but clean and smelled nice, they had lots of pillows too! The hotel gave us robes and towels for the shower. They also give you blue towels to take out of the hotel and use at the beach in case you forgot your own and don't want to spend $30 USD for 1 towel at the shops. there's no parking, but we were able to find close parking nightly even during the 1st week of August.

Lobby was the only special thing about this hotel. I was put in room number 12 on the first floor in the back across from the bathroom.

I don’t know what they were doing, but there was noise all hours of the day. Like housekeeping was cleaning 24 seven. I could not get any sleep.

My room had a double bed, and a twin bed, a desk. The bathroom had no shower curtain. The toilet seat was so flimsy and cheap. They need to replace it literally is a plastic lid and seat!

I don’t know where the water came from every time I flush the toilet, but the floor would be wet!!

The price I pay was definitely not worth the stay here. When I checked in their key reader
Was not working. Therefore, they had to let me in to my room. And I had to be let into my room. Every time I came back into the hotel until later that evening..

The hotel is located more on the local end of the Avenue, then the tour seating. Which is fantastic if you want to check out restaurants that aren’t crazy busy.

It is halfway between two malls, also on the Avenue. About a 15 minute walk from the hotel to the. ADO Bus Twrminal.

We rented 2 regular rooms and the suite. It was all family, adults and 2 to a room. The beds are hard as a rock. The breakfast is only toast, fruit, yogurt and your juice….everything else is extra. On Monday we checked out, are deposit was given back to us and we were waiting for our ride to pick us up. Check out was at noon, we waited for our transportation like 30min in the lobby. Right before we left they said in one of the rooms a decorative pillow was missing and charged us $50 dollars for it. Really!! Who is going to go on vacation and steal a small decorative pillow!!!! We asked them to check our luggage so they could see we did not have it and they didn’t care to they just wanted the $50, so if you ever stay there make sure you take pics of before and after so they don’t try to charge for things that you so called stole. We will never stay there again and make sure our friends and family DO NOT stay there either.

Gave me the wrong suite, then asked me to pack and move the next day which was an inconvenience after a long flight and drive from the airport. The entire building did not have a TV signal and they expect me to be OK with just an apology letter from the manager. When asked if the tv signal would be available next day they said NO for your entire stay, I was kinda upset but i went up to the room, the shower was clogged and I ended up taking quick shower the whole bathroom overflowed. Very disappointed.
The front desk lady was very welcoming and of course the cleaning ladies too. The guy that made the mistake at check in needs more training and the night shift gentleman was ok but didn't like the comment of \"the people dont come here to watch tv\" Wth!!! He also needs more training in knowing the amenities listed in the hotel and dont reply to customers that way.
2nd trip to this hotel...I dont thing i could comeback here.

I did not like: no phone in room... Not much outside light...No pool ..No balcony
I figure this should be advertised as just a place to sleep since there is nothing much otherwise... Quite a walk to the main beach ..
