We stayed in an oceanfront room and the view was beautiful! We really enjoyed staying here. The beach is beautiful the amenities are great and the location can’t be beat! There are so many great restaurants right across the street or down the beach within walking distance. Excursions leave right from the pier next to the hotel.we’ll definitely be back!

Loud music coming from other places than the Holiday Inn. Could be playing to the wee hours of the morning. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Good location for shopping and eating on the street side. Great walking path on the beach side if you like to visit the other hotels.

Room was good. I booked the room for 8 days but canceled the last day to another commitment. I requested a refund for the room. I was told no refund could be given. I then requested 75% of the room cost in the form of food and dink and that could reseal the room to someone else.( I was told they wee 95% full.) if they needed the room. I thought this was a Great deal for them. They also said no to his idea. I was upset with them that they were not willing to work any kind of deal. I must be fair and say I would stay here again because of it location.

My room was ocean view but you had to look to the side. I was disappointed about that. Check-in was a problem as well. Had to wait an hour on line to check in and then our room was not ready. Had to sit in lobby until 6:30 for the room to be available.

Unfortunately booking through Expedia gave us a room in an undesirable tower at the Holiday Inn but they were able to change our room three days in. The accommodations and staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Booked our room to house 4 people - 2 Kids under 8 and 2 adults ( booked a 2 double bed room ) and was told because We booked through Expedia they don't guarantee anything. So we had a bed and a pull out couch .
After pulling out the cough I thought my wife was going to pack up and leave, it was very unsettling but no choice.

Check in took almost two hours due to lack of staffing. This place needs a renovation. It’s extremely outdated. Rooms are very basic and have a mildew smell. My room had mold growing in the bathroom, hairs all over the floor, and what appears to be specks of blood on the wall. The beach water here is cloudy and the bottom is slimy and muddy in spots. I’m not sure the appeal.

The hotel room was OK but it felt like it could use a refresh. The fit and finish was mediocre.
The location was perfect! Right on the beach! Open air shopping mall, right across the street. No need for a car. Everything is right there!

Enjoyable stay, rooms are comfortable, including beds. Pools are kept clean. Limited umbrellas and chairs by pool and beach. Chairs are very outdated and in poor condition and need replacing. One beach towel per guest with a towel card. No card, no towel. Wrist bracelet will not suffice. All chairs reserved by guest with towels by 7 am. Front desk needs more staff, long lines for check in/out for questions. Breakfast has nice variety. Beach side bars have basic menus and are fine. There is no service on beach or by pools. We would stay again for price point but hope services would be improved for better guest experience.

Everything was amazing. Clean room. Great breakfast. And close to everything. Walking distance to it all. Just leaving today and was happy with it all. Roy at the towel hut was fantastic. Great help. And with a smile every morning. Happy to assist. Would stay here again. My son loves it. Rooms are outdated. But like I said they were clean. Bed was comfortable. And how long you in the room anyway.

My room was facing a dumpster after asking for ocean view.
People reserve chairs with towels early in morning go back to sleep. Then people that are at the pool have no one to sit

Multiple Restaurants and shops within and immediately adjacent to hotel. We booked a partial ocean view room and it actually lived up to that description. Room was comfortable but a little \"worn\". Nice balcony. Comfortable bed with good, nice mattress and duvet. Good A/C.
Beautiful beach!. Ocean warm and calm. Nice large swimming area which I like. Unfortunately you mostly need to pay to have shade on the beach, i.e. a palapa or umbrella. There are some palm trees, more decorative than actually shady. Large pool area, separate little kids pool. Deeper 4-6 ft pool for older. Nice hot tub, actually hot.

The room is a little worn but The Holiday Inn gets you exactly where you want to be! The people are generally lovely and our housekeeper Ingrid was Wonderful! Keeping up with all our needs, towels, tissues, ice bucket bags! The ocean was a little cloudy so we spent more time than usual at the pool but enjoyed our conversations with many of those we met in the pool. We were there over Super Bowl Sunday and they throw a Great Party for $20/head. Sun days are Fun days always. Always a good time and we’ll look forward to going back again soon.

The room was clean, grounds and restaurant choices were great. The only complaint we have is we didn’t have any hot water in the shower. I told the front desk 3 times over a 2 day period but the problem was never addressed. We ended taking cold showers for the 5 days we were there.

The security latch on the door was not working properly and neither was the toilet. It was reported to the front desk several times but neither was addressed. We encountered many broken lounges on the beach and always needed to look for chairs that were in working conditions. Also room was not facing the beach as advertised and the room was on the building further from the main entrance. Will look to stay at a different resort when I return.

As always the resort and staff were very nice. The only thing that was not good was one of our room assignments. One of our rooms was 5750. Although the room was clean and in order, you have to deal with loud music coming from across the street until about 1am every night. Next time we will try for a room facing the gardens outside of the front desk area. We will be back!!

Rooms are old. Can use some updating. Toilets ran continuously. Stayed in a room that we heard Mumbai’s next door music till 2 am. Staff was nice and attentive. Beaches were nice however a storm brought in tons of seaweed while we were here and it was not being cleaned up very quick.

We had such a nice stay for the second time. The hotel is clean and beautiful. We had such a nice view from our partial ocean view room. Most importantly, all of the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We were stuck for an extra three nights because of a snowstorm, and they were so kind, let us stay in the same room, and gave us a discounted rate for the extra nights. Hugo at the Oceanside bar was incredible. He remembered us from last time and gave us the most excellent service! Would definitely stay here again. So convenient, easy, and in the best location.

Overall a good hotel. There was a lot of noise from a nightclub across the street that kept me awake until 2am! I was 4 minutes late to yoga on my first day and was reprimanded by the yoga teacher as she didn’t have any mats left. She was unnecessarily rude. On the last day my cover-up was stolen from my sun lounger. I had gone over to the hot tub about 20 meters away, came back 10 minutes later and it was gone. No security cameras apparently. Manager tried to look for it but absolutely no offer of compensation. Despite supposedly having security guards on the grounds. Sounds awful listing all these things but overall the staff at reception and housekeeping were friendly & helpful & apart from the noise the location is good.

The hotel is perfectly located, with one side opening onto the beach and the other side opening into the town, allowing for easy access to restaurants and other shops. The room was clean, with ample space, and the staff was friendly and professional. However, the cocktails seemed to be watered down and the quality of the food was only fair. Also, my room faced a neighboring night spot, so that I heard music blaring every night until midnight (and until 2 AM on weekends).

Great location. Staff was also very friendly. Only complaints were the noise on Tuesday night. There was loud music outside due to a wedding which made it hard to sleep. Also we were told children eat free but were charged one night for our children’s meals. Upon inquiry we were told meals are only free when an adult meal is also ordered. The manager on duty stated he was going to look into it for us. If hotel ends up applying a credit we will consider staying there again.

Room was okay at best - clean but noisy. They refused any upgrade due to the fact we booked through Expedia & not directly through them. We asked for our AC to be checked but they did not respond to it. Front desk staff had an attitude with even minor requests again stating we booked through Expedia - example late check out, towel card, key to bathroom when we arrived before check in time direct from airport, food adequate compared to prior visits here. Every request was an upcharge - example more salsa for quesadillas when they only gave a half full cup.

Thought I booked an ocean front room, but it was “resort view” and it over looked the parking lot.
Light switch for bathroom outside the bathroom.
Unable to go from floor to floor via outside stairs, had to wait for elevator every time.
Booked rooms together for our family and they were on different floors, asked to get adjoining rooms at check in and they were unable to accommodate.

Property and staff are lovely and very helpful (except the towel hut crew). Food is very good. Loved the food and service at Sea Breeze and the breakfast buffet was very good. I hate the culture of people waking up at the crack of dawn to put towels on all the loungers and then never sitting in them. Rooms and Beds are also very small for the price paid.
