Our stay, for 4 nights, was excellent. Our room was spotless, the view from the 3rd floor was beautiful. Food from the Bistro let us eat out without going out. The food was great. The best thing was the staff. They are all professional and courteous. I would expect that. In addition, there is an attitude of niceness, welcome, and a true wish to help. In EVERY staff member we saw. Colum (I may misspell his name) greeted us first and explained the amenities in addition to our room. He’s great and started our pleasant visit perfectly. Well done.

The room was nice and spacious. The location was close to the outlets and downtown. HOWEVER, the first issues we encountered upon check in was no hand soap (had to be delivered) and Netflix/Youtube were not working on our tv/remote. Maintenance came right away, took a look and could not figure it out. He left to swap out remotes. When he came back, it still didn't work. He said he was going to call and see if it could be done over the phone. When we left our room for dinner, we inquired at the front desk and was told maintenance left for the day to our surprise, but they leave him a note. The next day, we left for the day, and when we returned in the evening around 4 pm, we inquired again. Front desk told us it was something they could not resolve during our stay and to enjoy the channels that are available. I asked if there would be any compensation and they said management had not authorized anything. What baffled me was that noone updated us on anything unless we asked. The following day, we come back to our room around 2pm and when we got into our room we noticed a huge puddle of water which developed from the ac unit. We called and maintenance took a while to come. He opened the ac unit, vacuumed up the water and left the carpet with towels. Not once were we offered another room, tv or anything. Being in a room with a drenched 5 ft carpet space is ridiculous regardless if we were checking out the next day.

We enjoyed our stay to the fullest everything was wonderful wish the grill worked like the pic showed but that’s okay we went and got a little table top grill and nobody complained we just sat outside with family and enjoyed our time the staff kept coming outside and said it smelled so good inside lol.!! But other then that I have zero complaints what so ever from the staff to the room everyone was absolutely amazing

I’m very disappointed with this Marriott stay. At check-in, I was told I could park my motorcycle under the covered front drop-off area, which many hotels allow for bikes. Later that evening, after returning from dinner, a different staff member came out and said I could not park there because the manager would call her and she would have to track me down.

I explained that the person who checked us in said it was okay, but she simply said he was wrong. There were no signs posted in the drop-off area saying “No Parking” or “Tow Away Zone,” so the rule was not clear. It also felt inconsistent because staff vehicles appeared to be parked in the same general front/covered area.

Our room was also not properly stocked. The shampoo and body wash were empty before we even used them. I had to go to the front desk and ask for replacements, and the staff handed them to me so I could put them back on the wall myself.

We were in room 103 on the first floor, close to the road, and the traffic noise was loud in the morning, making the stay less restful.

I understand hotels have policies, but they should be clearly posted and consistently applied. Between the parking issue, the room not being ready, and the road noise, this stay was not up to the Marriott standard I expected.

I just stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Saint Augustine Thursday night June 25th and Friday night the 26th.

I have stayed at a plethora of Courtyard Marriott hotels over the last 20 years.
Unequivocally, this was by far & away the worst!

Thursday night the 25th: I specifically requested a room that was NOT by the elevator and ice machine.
Much to my dismay, when I saw that Room 325 was literally near both the elevator & ice machine, I was incredulous.
It was the first of many red flags which were to come.
All night long, I heard beeping sound of the elevator into the following morning.
I lost an entire night's sleep because of this.

When I requested to be moved the following day to a different room, I was met with defiance and a piss-poor attitude by the manager on duty Jamie.

Friday the 26th: I was relocated to Room 338.
There were some dead bugs and mosquitoes throughout the room.
As I was about to take a shower, I noticed something so disgusting and repulsive.
There were long hairs all over both the shampoo and body wash dispensers!

This was beyond appalling, gruesome, and horrendous.

My experience was so atrocious, disgusting, and repulsive that I had to check out of the hotel this morning at 9 a.m. to find another place to stay. That has NEVER happened in my entire life!

There was no hot water in our room. We were told at the desk that the water needed to run for 10 minutes or more in order for it to become hot. Well, my wife ended up taking a shower for more than 10 minutes in for the entire time. It was cold and then I jumped in the shower after that in the whole shower was cold. So that would be our biggest complaint.

Stayed for one night. Got up the next morning to shower before checking out. Broken shower, no water! The front desk just shrugged. No offer to send anyone to fix it. We asked if there was another room where we could take a shower. The answer was no! They offered us some points for the inconvenience. We didn't need points, we needed a shower before attending an event. I have since called to see if there is any reimbursement we can get. No surprise still haven't heard back from them. Very dissapointing.

Parking was easy, as the hotel was almost empty. We had a scare before checking in that the room we had booked (one bedroom suite) wouldn’t be appropriate for our family (2 adults, 2 kids) due to the area with the sofa bed not having blackout curtains. Then, turns out it did have them installed recently. Our kid (it was his birthday) wanted nothing but to swim in the hotel pool. We got changed, walked through the lobby and out to the pool, only to find the pool was shut down due to failing a health inspection. This information could’ve been relayed at check-in or even when we all walked through the hotel in bathing suits. But no, it wasn’t, and my kid was crying due to disappointment.
There was no included breakfast (so weird for a courtyard) and the shower, no lie, took over five minutes to get hot water. As a result of not knowing this, several of us took cold showers (is anything worse?!). This was a huge miss for us. We will not return.

The stay was fine breakfast was average price not too expensive. The only complaint is that the walls are THIN! I was woken up by kids a whole floor above us at 6:30am by the jumping and loud kid activity. So my sleep in plan was ruined. I could hear them talking plain as day. I could literally hear even light switches being turned on and off in the next door room. I could hear the whole conversation to the room next to me if I wanted to be nosey and tune in. So so thin.

The reason we picked this hotel was for the pool and hot tub. However when we arrived we were informed that they were doing renovations and that the pool and hot tub were closed. Then the first room they put us in the shower/tub didn't work so they had to change our room. It did not say anywhere that they were doing renovations on the entire property. I mean all in all it was ok. Just wish it would have been stated that the pool and hot tub were closed because we would have booked with a different hotel that had acess to the pool and hot tub.

The hotel is fine if you are only staying one night. The rooms are clean, and the staff is nice.
However, the hotel is under construction, which was not mentioned on Expedia at the time of booking. Construction starts around 8:30 a.m., with loud hammering and wood cutting, so sleeping in is impossible.
I stayed 5 days and 4 nights, knowing I would mostly be there just to sleep, but the noise made it very uncomfortable. Most amenities were closed. The pool is technically open, but with the cold weather, it was unusable.
Overall, I feel I made a mistake booking this place, mainly because the construction was not disclosed in advance. I also decide to leave Expedia and use another app this web site do not provide you with this right information

The hotel was under construction and we did get a room on the first floor but later found out the newly renovated rooms were actually on the 2nd floor, when the offered it to another guest. I would’ve liked to have been given that option but the first floor rooms were not bad. Beware of the ice machine… the two times we got ice, when it melted there were little black specs in the water floating. Aside from that , the hotel served its purpose for our family.

The hotel is under massive renovations. This is clear if you book on their website, but as I booked though a third party it was not mentioned anywhere. Every amenity was unusable and the drilling started before 8am and was SOOOO loud. When I worked at a hotel in the past, we would reach out to every guest to make sure they were away of situations like this. The front desk staff I spoke to could not have cared less of the inconveniences. I left a message for the front desk manager, who never followed up. Overall one of the worst hotel experience I've had.

I was there for a friends weekend. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant was nice and plenty of drink and food options. The beds and pillows were comfortable, Wi-Fi was good. Close enough drive to the heart of St. Augustine. I would definitely stay there again.
